Took some time tonight to mock up some shirtless references of Kahl. I was struggling to visualize his spots, so this really helped me figure them out.

and it doesn't require disease to reveal the Blaschko lines - some people's are more visible than others', and they're more likely to appear with age, sun exposure, and so forth. sounds also that they can be visible as hair patterns, and moles and such follow your markings

Imagine an alien sharing a cool human fact they just learned like ”hey guys did you know that the silvery markings on humans actually aren’t true stripes? They’re called stretch marks, they happen when the human is growing fast enough to actually outgrow their skin, which is apparently something that just fucking happens to almost all of them at some point of their life.”

and another one is like ”wait so you’re saying humans don’t have stripes.”

”actually they do, but the stripes are invisible. There’s genetic code that’d give them stripes but they’re just the same colour as the rest of the skin. So the visible stripes are not real stripes and the real stripes are invisible.”

Halfas are like selkies. Or more like they’re similar to many animal spouses of myths and legends, trapped in (mostly) human forms should they lose their cloak. 

That at least, Vlad warned Danny about within the first time of realizing what the other was. It’s a line neither will cross- not even the timeline where Dan came into being. An unspoken acknowledgement of not crossing such a boundary no matter what happened. 

Even after his parents’ deaths. After Jazz’s near-death and coma. 

It’s not exactly something Danny thinks of, really, especially not that he’s now survived highschool and practically moved across the country. Not to mention the fact he has Ellie and Jordan to care for. But it definitely comes to mind the moment Dan- only five at the moment- screams for him. And he’s not going to let anything happen to his kids

so this is how it feels to be known - hoshina soshiro had taken it upon himself to decipher you, as if you are a mystery he couldn't leave unsolved. so this is how it feels to be unraveled - from being able to recognise your favorite song, to knowing which food comforts you after a long day, to understanding even the slightest change in your facial expressions.

it shouldn't have been a surprise that hoshina hoped and wanted to be familiar with your body too. so when the straps of your bra fell down your arms, it would seem that the third division vice-captain had discovered one more thing about you. "i didn't know you have moles anywhere else," hoshina said, almost breathlessly, referring to the pair of dark specks on the valley of your chest. "well, now you do," you responded with a smile.

guys i love the “riz has cat behaviors” headcanons i really do but think about the potential for /reptile/ goblin behaviors

we’re still talking hissing but also basking in the sun and looking to the other bad kids/anyone he feels safe with for warmth

he could have two sets of eyelids and when he gets really focused he only uses the clear sideways ones (nictitating membranes) to blink

it would also help with his rogue-ness because his skin could be used to camouflage in some environments!

depending on if you want to base goblins on specific reptiles or just do a sort of broad cherry picking of traits you have the potential to create some really cool headcanons

winged knkdz au.

haven't thought abt it much but everyone is either born w/wings or not and ofc those with wings have different culture/rituals vs those who do not.

dazai was born with standard wings, and knkd born with stunted wings. both his parents didn't have the winged genetics but somehow he got it via mutation in utero which caused them to form late and thus rlly small.

bc of this and the fact that his family is not winged, he grew up without knowing the standard rituals or behaviors amongst those who are winged.

Cue a very confused dazai trying to do typical flirting behaviors to an oblivious knkd
