JULIAN'S BACKPACK!

(Julian is a grad student; of all my ocs, I think he'd be the only one who would have a bag with him at all times.)

Julian: What's in my bag? Sure! Let's see...

Lawrence: It's a black hole in there. He carries everything and the kitchen sink.

Julian: You laugh, but I am always prepared. Ok...So I have some of the books I am reading for my courses. Right now I am taking a course on the evolution of the novel and we are reading Richardson's Clarissa.

Lawrence: Oo! That was a scandalous one when it came out!

Julian: My notebook...Some pens...My train pass...a comb, an older pair of glasses, in case my current ones end up lost or damaged...And this compartment is for my laptop.

Lawrence: (YAWN)

Julian: And I keep the power cord right over here.

Lawrence: So much wonder! Are you and Mary Poppins related?

Julian: And then over here I carry this plasma fruit juice box-

Lawrence: FOR ME?

Julian: No. To lend authenticity to my Bloody Marys. YES, for YOU. So you don't get hangry.

Lawrence: I feel loved.

Julian: See- it comes with a little straw!

Lawrence: Julian...You are the biggest, most adorable nerd and I love you desperately and completely.

Goes Around - Sneak Peek

Pairing: DBF/BFD!Bucky Barnes x Female Reader

Warnings: None, besides Bucky. Future fic.

A/N: I can't promise when the follow up for What Goes Around will be finished and the part below is not beta read yet, so this could change within the full fic. 💙

The gentle breeze from the nearby water touched your skin as you stood on the beach, the sand warm and welcoming beneath your bare feet. The ebb and flow of the ocean waves beckoned for you to take a relaxing swim, but you didn't move any closer. Rooted to the spot, your gaze drifted to the shoreline where Bucky stood.

He was waiting for you.

All you had to do was take the next step.

Sensing your hesitation, he walked toward you instead. You weren't sure whether to focus on his chest, his shirt stretched impossibly tight across it and his broad shoulders, or his eyes as blue as the body of water behind him. He was so self-assured and gorgeous for it. He didn't bother trying to hide his desire as he moved closer. No one would be around to witness it anyway.

Private beach and all.

Bucky's frame blocked out some of the sun as he stopped in front of you, but it didn't take the warmth away. The desire previously written all over his face faded as he invaded your space, his grip gentle as he held your jaw. You could've broken free of it if you wanted to, but you didn't.

Not when he began to wipe your tears away.

Why am I crying?

"Do you want me to take you back?" he asked, his voice calm and even. "Just say the word and I will."

That hit you harder than you expected. Would Bucky give up on you so easily if you asked? After he kissed and took you like he owned you? Or was he a man trying to prove he would respect your wishes? That he would put your needs first?

"What if I asked you to kiss me instead?"

Bucky moved his hand to the back of your neck, slow enough that you could stop him or pull away. The blue of his eyes nearly blinded you as he leaned in, your own slipping shut and knowing what was about to come as your heart raced.

But his lips didn't touch yours yet.

"Ask me," he whispered.
