𝔰𝔲𝔪𝔪𝔞𝔯𝔶 - Chris doesn’t want y/n to leave after being gone for 2 months.

After getting home from a 2 month long Europe vacation, laying in bed cuddled up with Chris felt amazing.

Y/n had gotten home two days ago, and Chris had barely left her side. He insisted they do everything together, since she apparently had left him “alone” for too long.

Hearing her alarm clock blare, y/n sat up, rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes. Making sure not to wake Chris, she quietly go ready for work, ensuring he was still peacefully sleeping before heading for the door.

Y/n sighed, opening Chris’s door to head out, only to feel arms snake around her waist from behind.

“You can’t leave me again” Chris mumbled tiredly into her hair, inhaling the sweet scent of her shampoo.

Turning to face him, y/n smiles at her half asleep, whiny boyfriend. “I’ve missed so much work already, I’ll get fired if I don’t come in today” she says, brushing a lock of hair out of Chris’s face.

Pulling her back into the bed, Chris let’s out a frustrated sigh. “Please y/n, call in sick today, I really wanted to spend it with you” Chris begs, locking his tired eyes with hers.

“Ok love, I didn’t like that job anyways” y/n whispers, a small giggle escaping her lips. Chris grins, proud of himself for convincing his beautiful girlfriend to stay.

Y/n places a soft kiss on Chris’s cheek, before laying her head on his chest, and falling asleep to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

(R) Drabbles: Salvatore Moreau- Clingy

Moreau has been gone all day long and the longer he’s gone the more worry boils up in Y/n. They worry about his safety back from the chapel where Mother Miranda demanded that it be held. 

Once a week these meetings happened, Y/n was never sure what was talked about but they were always something that mother Miranda wanted. She wanted more projects going on. She wanted things that the four lords could never supply her with. 

It was never talked about between the two of them. Salvatore was sure to make sure that Y/n was kept far, far away from anything that was talked about in the church meetings. 

Y/n favorite part of the day was when Salvatore would return. Tired but excited to see his lover. “Puppy, you awake my love?” He yelled out every time, and every single time y/n would come running out of the next room or where they were hiding out in. 

They hug tightly as Salvatore rubs down their spine in a soothing motion. Their hug is so tight that sometimes Y/n can’t breathe or the other way around. Salvatore has a hard time breathing due to just how much Y/n truly missed him. 

When they split Y/n can’t help but kiss his face up and down. Little pecks here on his cheeks, one on his nose, a few on his forehead for good luck. Like it’s the best thing that he’s arrived home, and done it safely. 

The best kiss is the one that makes Y/n’s knees weak and Moreau’s heart beat just a little bit faster. They kiss deeply like they don’t need breath, they’re connected on a deeper and needer level than anyone else is. 

“Oh puppy, did you have a good day?” Moreau will ask after they split from the kiss. Lips swollen and pink. y/n can’t help but look up at their boyfriend and think that if he only knew just how much they miss him on a daily basis. 

“Oh Moreau you were gone for so long, and I didn’t have a good day you weren’t here. I only ever have a good day when you’re here with me baby.” Y/n murmurs out in one quick breath. Salvatore watches as his lover sits there eyes wide. “How about we go up to the lab and we can spend the rest of the day together? what do you think about that puppy?” Salvatore asks, he waits for the response, and it’s just what he thought. Y/n is gathering their things. Notebooks, pencils, pens, blankets everything they may need. “I’m ready to go, baby,” they say softly before Salvatore grabs their hand and they walk in tow with each other towards the labs. 

Today is just like any other day. Together is what they are, but to anyone else, it would be called clingy.

So typically, the employee's obligation under an employment agreement is to provide labor, the employer's obligation is to provide a wage.

So, an employer with a 'No-Quit' policy is saying they're going to keep upholding their part of the agreement even if you quit? They're committing to continue paying you a wage even if you stop providing labor? That's literally the only part of the agreement the employer has any control over, so I don't know what else it could mean.

Slightly less facetious take: You can collect unemployment insurance if you quit a job over harassment or unsafe working conditions (in a lot of states, check your local laws). My guess - employees are being endangered or abused somehow in this restaurant, and the owners keep losing unemployment appeals over it. This is an attempt to turn "quit for good reason" cases into "fired for violating company policy" cases, which aren't eligible for unemployment.

Can you imagine the audacity it would take to stand in court and tell a judge "they were terminated for violating our 'no quitting even if your life is in danger' policy"?

Simon shifted in his bed, feeling the empty coolness beside him. He reached out, wanting to feel your warmth, but his hand met nothing but empty sheets and bed covers.

"Love..?" He whispers faintly, his voice filled with a quiet desperation to find you.

Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Simon slowly opens them to find you there, on the other side of the bed, lying with your back turned to him.

He lets out a quiet chuckle at the position you're in, your legs flung out in a starfish, snoring the night away. It's a silly sight, but it cracks him up, and he can't help but chuckle softly.

"Baby..." Simon sleepily whines to himself, calling out to you. "C'mere.."

Simon gently moves closer to you, pulling on the sheets to free himself. You feel his arm encircle your waist as he pulls you towards his warm body, spooning you in his arms.

Your skin meets his, and the warmth from his body causes your heart to skip a beat. You feel the gentle rise and fall of his chest as he breathes, feeling peaceful and safe in his embrace.

As he holds you close, Simon's thoughts drift to you. He thinks about how soft he is for you, how you make him feel alive and whole, how he doesn't want to let go, ever.

You're his everything, his world, and he can't imagine life without you. He feels his heart swell with love for you, and the need to be close to you and hold you tight, to never let you go.

With you in his arms, Simon feels complete. He would do anything to keep you close, to love and cherish you every day for the rest of his life.

You're the love of his life, and he will never forget the moment he first held you close, feeling your heart beat against his own, and knowing that he had found his soulmate.

As he holds you close, Simon's body moves instinctively, nuzzling his face in your neck, wanting to feel your warmth, to be closer to you. He wraps his arms around you tighter, unable to bear the thought of ever being apart from you again.

The warmth coming from his body slowly roused you from your slumber, your eyes fluttering open as Simon's arms tightened around your waist. You could feel his heart pounding against your back, beating in time with yours, and your heart skipped a beat in response.

"Simon?" You called out to him, voice still slightly hoarse from sleep, and you could hear the smile in his voice as he responded.

"I'm here, love," he whispered, his voice low and full of love, and you could feel his body pressing up to yours, wrapping around you like a warm blanket. His hands softly carressing your waist and hips. You felt his breath upon your neck, his heart beating in yours, and you felt a deep sense of peace wash over you.

"I love you," he whispered, almost inaudible.

As his arms wrapped around you, you felt a rush of warmth and comfort wash over you. His voice was low and gentle, and you could feel the love and intensity in every word.

You loved him more with each passing moment; each time he held you, each time he told you how much he loved you, and each time you felt his heart beating against yours.

"I love you, too, Simon," you whispered back, further relaxing into his embrace as you pecked his bicep that was hugging you close by your shoulders.

You could feel the love and intensity in every part of his body, from the warmth of his breath against your neck to the way his heart beat in time with yours. You knew that you would always be by his side, loving him and cherishing him for all eternity.

Simon pressed a gentle kiss to the nape of your neck, his breath warm and soothing against your skin, and you felt a pang of love and comfort wash over you.

He whispers your name softly, almost inaudible, as he drifted off to sleep, holding you tightly in his embrace. The love and intensity in his voice, in his touch, and in his eyes, was overwhelming, and he knew that you felt it too.
