It has been a few hours short of one week since I started this blog, and it's been terrific!!! People are nice and I get to participate in all sorts of hijinks. Specifically I want to thank @maryland-officially, @walmart-counter, and @crane-detector for making me feel extremely welcome on the gimmick scene!!

I have Gravity Falls and Etc. fic(s) idea(s)
Which, I am going to write now while I am having this fic idea (probably going to be a short one, but in the future I might make a revised expanded version or something. Who knows).
I actually have multiple Gravity Falls and GF TAU and Reverse Falls and etc. stuff that stems from this specific The Book of Bill thing.
Specifically stuff exploring Dipper's nightmares.
(I have some other ideas for the other dreams and/or nightmares too. Sometimes even in relation to Dipper's in some way).
I love my boy, and his nightmares hurt my heart.
But also because I love him, I want to explore even more of issues/trauma/suffering and/or to do Dipper angst. And etc.
Because I want both happiness and/or suffering for my faves/the characters I love very much.
Like Dipper.
So he is going to be getting even more of that from me, probably.
Because he is great and I love him.

i also think the fact that i had such a stunted and isolated upbringing and now that im an adult all my friends are on atypical life paths (and honestly even my friends as a kid were like this too) means i find things that are usually very common life stages really interesting. like knowing someone who has a house and a wife and 2 kids (with that wife) and a job with a salary feels like meeting fucking paul bunyun to me. or hearing the kids i work with talk about graduating high school and going to college and being on a real path with that stuff is neat? or even sometimes knowing cis/het people who are like going thru that coming of age stuff that i never really experienced the way you see it in the movies bc of transness/queerness/neurodivergence. its like woah they said the name of the thing in the thing. do u know what i mean???

Hey! Thanks for that required reading post! It made me nostalgic, so I went to the library today and checked out two of the books. <3
hell yeah! me too, actually—my dad dug up some of my old school books for me, and I put in a hold at the library for some of the books I've never heard of before
