Act I ~ The Prince

What kind of sound are Theo's... noises... intended to be? Snorts? Mouth sounds? Choking sounds? Stuffy nose sounds? I feel like I imagine them as a different thing every time I read them lol

Almost all of the above, really! Nasally grunts, snorts, whines, growls, guttural noises that sound like he's clearing his throat or choking on his own air... Theo makes all manner of noises. Not on purpose.

His "noises" are unconscious vocalizations most of the time. They're akin to vocal tics. The utterances are louder, more pronounced and more frequent the more stressed he is. It takes quite a bit of effort and discomfort to suppress his noises once he feels the urge brewing (if he even catches it in time, because most of the time he isn't even fully aware that he's doing it). He does his utmost to keep them choked down, but to his embarrassment, some grunts and gags always slip through.

Also, often his laugh can sound like "a noise" since it can be more of a gargling wheeze than a proper expression of mirth. His smoking habit hasn't helped the, er, phlegminess of its sound.

A counterpoint to his common stress-sounds is his habit of making quiet humming noises when he's feeling contented and relaxed. He only does it when in exceedingly good spirits - so as you might imagine, he hasn't had much cause to hum in many years.

So. Guess who commissioned the amazing @shukruut to do up late teens/early twenties Ylliben (time-traveler Obi-Wan) in A Child’s Ink? Specifically, with most of the tattoos he gains across the course of that fic.

Our boy is mid-workout and there are some very flustered Fellow Teens that he is either ignoring or genuinely does not notice.

(I say 'most' because there are a few I still haven't decided on for chapter three, and thus could not direct the placement or design of. I'll figure those out uhhhh eventually. At least two of them are probably on his legs anyway, so I'll just imagine that's what's going on, and you will presumably forgive me for being bad at Decisions if one of them doesn't quite match up with the art lmao.)

Some of these aren't definitive and if you want to imagine it differently, that's great! I definitely kept a few of them vague enough for reinterp! For me, half the point of this commission was to get an idea what was even going on so I could keep track of where he still had room for another tat in the years to come.

Sonic OC inspired by that kind of weird retcon-ish thing where Silver can't actually time travel on his own and instead just has random time portals happen to him, something that I affectionately refer to as him being "Cursed By God". This character is also cursed by god in a different manner. She doesn't really get to have any especially useful powers or go on fun adventures or anything like the other sonic characters she just has to live in a Twilight Zone episode for her whole life. I got kind of excited about her so she comes with an excess of information and an arbitrarily high effort picture. Her extremely long name amuses me
