I feel like i was preparing myself for death. I get distand from everybody and everything i just sit on my bed all day and do nothing. Think nothing. I dont care about nothing anymore. I got socially withdrawn. The "friends" i once cared about, the places i liked to visit...all fade away. Like they never existed in the first place. I dont remember the feeling of laughing with my friends. Like i never existed. But dont get me wrong, i dont feel sad. I dont feel grief. I dont feel anything. I guess, this is what the final state of depression feels like. Calm, yet a bit bitter...but still peaceful. Ive started to fade away like a ghost, or someone who has never been born. I started to taste how its like to be gone for good...to be dead.

i'm a nd person, who obviously grew up around neurotypicals only and because i couldn't get used to their ways of creating social bonds i kinda got left behind, i didn't really care about friendships but recently it started to attack me. i indeed want and need friends, but i don't know how to even start a conversation.

on the other hand i don't want to befriend a neurotypical person because they're weird and so i can't take social tips from them and these are the only i can find.

so!! my question is: do you have any tips how to befriend neurodivergent people? what questions would work for the beginning? where should i search for people to talk to?

🍂 🎃 🍁 It’s fall! My favorite time of year! Instead of a regular concert, which we had to forgo last year, Lawrence High School threw an Oktoberfest concert. The kids played at different hours and the whole day was outside, so the crowd stayed small and we could safely and easily socially distance. Thank you to LHS teas here and staff for all the hard work to make this a great event for the kids, the families and our community. Read through my journal and remembered a dream I had back in November - that they filmed a Covid version of GJ series 2 - script was re-written to fit it. Everyone wore face masks, always stood six feet apart and the intimacy displayed between Anne & Ann largely consisted of them shouting ‘kiss’ from a distance or kissing but with face masks on with badly printed lips on them... They lay in separate beds but in the same room - reaching out to touch each other’s elbows and Ann just stared at her and went,  “Remind me why were doing this again, Anne?!”  To which Anne answered by first pouring brandy all over her hands and Ann’s face before touching Ann’s cheek affectionately,  “Because all the fashionable people do it and besides I’ve read that love grows greater apart - we are doing this for us!” Sometimes dreams come true - But I seriously hope this is not one of them!

On Tuesday, we saw an awesome movie @TheBlackPhone🔥@regalcinemagroup @blumhouse with @ethanhawke @JeremyDavies @masonthamesofficial @MadelineMcGraw @official_miguelcazarezmora @ERogerMitchell @jamesransone #TheBlackPhone, #directed by @ScottDerrickson. This #film had great #writing n awesome #acting with tastefully done #fun frights. It also had a very good message about #teenage #bullying. ******>🎭 🎥 We saw the final showing of the night @ 10:25pm. The theater wasn’t crowded at all n we sat safely n the upper seating area of the #theatre.
