thinking abt black arms sonic boom shadow again. he was a part of team dark, but was Brain Blasted when the black arms arrived and lost most of his memories, slowly, painfully, until he ran away from his friends to live in a cave forever. rouge and omega are in a race to find him, to get their friend back. is this anything? hello? im listening to brand new day from dr horrible. sorry.

shadow sees images of rouge and omega, and it gives him migraines, and he doesnt know why. eclipse tells him its no problem and nothing to worry about, black doom gaslights him abt how its like. "those migraines are becuz you know how foolish these mortals are. go kill them lmao".

rouge and omega live on the main-land, in a city, in an unassuming apartment. they dont work for the government this time. rouge owns her club and shadow and omega are bouncers- behind the scenes they do weapons deals and vigilante work. they kind of run a mobian underground gang? rouge is like the matriarch of her section of town. omega was built by eggman in a plan to take over some mainland cities, but he was abandoned and dropped in the sea. he washed up on shore, and rouge fixed him up a bit and omega vowed allegiance to her and revenge on his creator, who he cant rlly remember. shadow was discovered when rouge and omega were infiltrating GUN bases trying to find info on omega's creators whereabouts. omega convinced rouge to take him in. they help him work out his memories, rouge spends a few days reading through shadow's files. they become goth best friends easily. yay!

they kind of have to bunker down for the black arms invasion. rouge tries to prepare by letting omega know whats going on, and keeping shadow and omega up in the apartment instead of working in the club. rouge doesnt want it to be real, she hopes rlly hard that it wont happen, so she doesnt tell shadow at first. after the first wave of migraines, memories resurfacing, and detached voices tho, she has to come clean. sucks! omega is mad at her, but he doesnt try to tell shadow becuz he doesnt rlly know as much as rouge does. they refuse to lock shadow up again, but they regret it once he runs away (after abt a week of endless onslaught of Psychic Attacks). theres a lot of fighting in the last week before shadow runs away. mostly shadow fighting the mental attacks. hes bedridden for a while. omega and rouge fight, too. omega is mad at rouge for not telling shadow anything about his past. she knows it was stupid, but she was really hoping it would turn out differently. she says omega wouldnt know becuz hes an emotionless robot. so. tensions are high. and shadow is getting fed Evil Juice so he keeps tearing apart the curtains. he runs away in the middle of the ngith, which is really just the afternoon for these guys. he has to fight omega to escape the apartment. shadow gets out mostly unscathed, becuz omega doesnt want to hurt him so badly, but omega has to be heavily repaired, which is why they cant go after shadow fast enough to track him easily. they hear about sonic from some GUN files a few months later. on the list of his adversaries is a hedgehog doppelganger- described as having a familiar star-shaped quill style, and black and red fur. they book it to the island as soon as possible. probably steal some GUN transport. either rouge figures out the controls, or they kidnap some GUN hostage to fly it for them. either way.

eventually they find shadow. yay! they help him get his memories back and stop the evil alien invasion, and omega gets to find out where eggman lives. they move in to the island w shadow so they can try to stop eggman more.. permanently. things reset back to funny sitcom, except now the goths are there too.

I love the idea of Shadow still having his Black Arms half in Sonic Boom, because then I imagine a scene like this;

Team Sonic, plus Shadow, is camping out. Sticks is rambling about aliens again, and one of the others decides to tell her that aliens aren’t real either to get her to stop or see her reaction. Shadow, who was silent the whole time, goes “Guess half of me isn’t real then” and he gets up and walks away.

The Siren here was 100% inspired by the theme of the sixth circle of Pandæmonium in FFXIV... Scream is a very good song. It’s appearance is also kind of inspired by that boss as well.

The Siren’s purpose is to brainwash the weak willed with its song.

The Banshee is a prototype of the Siren, and while the only sounds it can make are screams... it’s got some other powers to make it more combat oriented.

AU: Dukes got a strange new teacher, Jason has a weird neighbour, Dick helped a poor civillian with two broken legs, and Tim's got a bad feeling about the knew Wayne Enterprises employee. Who knew they'd turn out to be the same person? Or... Dannys stuck in Gotham, how, why, when? To be confirmed, although, he's positive its something to do with a certain time-turning asshole. But now he's got bats on his tail and a serious case of the munchies. Good thing Sam and Tucker learned early on to slap a tracker on his phone.

Dick stumbled forwards, chain rattling around his foot as it pulled taunt. He hit the deck.

“No!”

Duke closed his eyes – and for a moment, he wondered what it would’ve been like if he’d just stayed home like he’d planned to – as Danny descended, mouth split into a feral smile and scythe in motion.

Then, “Bang!”

Dukes’ ears screamed as something exploded, a sonic boom erupting somewhere to his right. A fiery green blast flashed through the air, smacking into Danny like a sledgehammer and sending him hurtling into the concrete pillar in a blast of dust and debris.

Duke took in a sharp breath, eyes fettering over where the teacher landed. His eyes locked on Dick, who was staring over his shoulder from his place on the floor.

“Ha! Bullseye!” Duke startled at the voice and whipped to his right. “I am literally a God.”

Had he been transported to Men in Black right now? Because there was no other explanation for what this was right now. The owner of the voice was a young African American, with neat cornrows and dressed in a suit straight out of MIB, save for the sunglasses which were substituted for a slick pair of black framed glasses.

With a huff, the newcomer hefted an enormous smoking bazooka to rest between his shoulder blade and collarbone. He looked over the room with a grin. “Worry not ladies, knight with shining armour reporting for duty.” He proclaimed with a cheeky grin and a wink, patting the weapon’s steel side fondly, “No, need to thank me. Just doing my job.”

There was a click, and the stranger froze, “Who in the hell are you?” Jason growled through his modulator, stepping out of the shadows to the left of new guy, pistol aimed for a head shot.

The stranger’s eyes slid, acknowledging Jason’s gun from his peripheral. “Sure…” He drawled cautiously, ‘shoot the man with the bazooka. Do it.”

Jason pulled out his second gun. Head titling in challenge.

New guy grinned. “Geez, calm your tits. Names Foley, Tucker Foley.” He reached into his blazer pocket, pulling out a badge. “FBI”

The FBI?

Jason lowered his pistols. “The fuck is the FBI doing in Gotham?” Duke would like to know the same thing.

Tucker shrugged, “Shits and gigs” he said, dropping the bazooka from his shoulder, and catching its nose on his foot before he propped it up against the closest wall. He swivelled, jabbing a finger over at the downed spectre. “Mostly that troublemaker though. Do you mind if I–actually, why am I even asking you?” He stalked over to the cracked concrete pillar and jabbed at foot at Dukes downed teacher, shifting his lifeless body “Oi, Danny.”

Duke didn’t know how to break the news. “Um, Mr. Foley? He’s not–Well, he was killed by something, we don’t know what exactly. I don’t think he’s–yeah…Sorry.” Ever so eloquently put.

Tucker raised a brow, “Are you trying to tell me he’s dead?”

Duke resisted the urge to point out that this Tucker guy did actually shoot him into the wall with a bazooka. He was dead before anyway, but still.

“Obviously,” Jason grumbled, crossing his arms. “Some occult thing.”

“Right.” Tucker’s face twisted into a slight frown, and he nudged the body again. “Danny, stop foxing and get up.”

There was a groan and Duke took an involuntary step back.  

Tucker prodded Danny again. “C’mon, up and at ‘em.”

“5 more minutes.” Danny rolled over onto his side. “M’kay?”

Dick’s mouth was wide open at the scene. “Are you serious right now?”

Danny popped his head up, hair and face covered in dust, his eyes narrowed. “You’d think coming at them with a scythe would scare them off, right Tuck?”

“I told you it wasn’t going to work.” A feminine voice came from the doorway, and a woman stepped into the room. “But please, feel free to be disappointed.” She was dressed in back cargo pants, and a cropped purple tee, dark hair neatly braided down her back. She leaned against the door, “You missed our anniversary.” She said pointedly towards Danny.

Danny dropped his head back to the floor. “Can we go back to when I was just a lifeless corpse?”

Tucker gwuaffed. “You’re already a lifeless corpse, there’s nothing to go back to, stupid."

Okay so uh my Sonic au is called "Sonic Ka-Boom" not the most creative name in the world but i wanted to do it so bad because i like the Sonic boom show.

So basically in this au i wanted to put mostly a lot of the idw sonic characters (even when I haven't read the idw comics but a lot of their designs are just so cool.)

And in this Sonic au it has five arcs, the first arc being Infinite, the second being Metal Sonic and Mecha Sonic, third focusing more on Shadow and Black doom, fourth and fifth being the same arc with it mostly being a part 1 and part 2 type of thingy where I'd combine Sonic frontiers characters with some of the idw characters.

I also gave some new changes to how Sonic would look and his friends.

Sonic - wears a scarf, and has blue arms.

Tails - has goggles, tool belt, and a jacket

Amy - would have a more dark pinkish dress and has really long socks

Knuckles - I'd just put bandages on him

Boys Fashion headcanons in my ✨AU with no name✨

Sonic: Y2K inspired style, may not be exactly how it is back in the day, but it’s pretty damn close! Tank tops, baggy jeans, Air Forces, and sometimes brings a boom box with him. For the more feminine style, arm and leg warmers, multiple belts and jelly bracelets, and yes, a fur hat. However, it’s synthetic and the only one he owns. It’s actually a gift from amy!

Shadow: he’s usually going to be wearing some kind of biker-esque style. Leather boots, slightly baggy Jeans, fluffy leather coat, etc. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t wear other styles outside of missions. Particularly more gothic attire, and even a few good drag queen looks too! (Headcannon I saw on here and I’m running with it-)

Silver: hm.. I honestly say the soft boy aesthetic from 2020-2021 would suit him when he’s not on missions! Soft sweatshirts, a good pair of white slacks, and maybe some white sneakers too! Add a cute satchel and we’re good to go! ^^

Knuckles: same as sonic, but just the masculine parts. Baggy jeans, tank top or short sleeved shirts, and some of his tribe’s jewelry and other accessories to match with the outfit!

Tails: I’d say the steampunk look would suit him best, after all, he’s a mechanic and an engineer! It makes sense why he’d prefer something like steampunk! (Simplified or not is up to you!)

Mephiles: My personal favorite of these headcanons so far. Anything Princey and gothic? He will give it a try! However, goth academia and goth ouji seem to be his favorites! Lots of intricate and beautiful lace, black slacks, masculine corsets, and a cute black and purple parasol to match! (I’ve had this headcanon for a hot minute!)

Scourge: We all know that he has this punk-like style with the leather jacket and sunglasses, but I wanna add onto it! Baggy jeans with sewn on decals from his adventures, a few tattoos, and usually no shirt, to show off his scar. However, if the place does require a shirt, he just either zips up his jacket or wears a white T-shirt.. he probably won’t be happy about it though! ^^||

Nazo: hm.. this is actually a tough one, as I didn’t really think about his general wardrobe. However, I feel like he’d have something for just about every occasion. Something simple and year-round like button up shirts and slacks or dark jeans. Because you can do a lot of styling with those alone, like add on a waistcoat and a suit jacket over the shoulders, and some simple, yet classy gold jewelry!

Seelkadoom: Now, you think that it’d be easy to give seelkadoom a hybrid style between shadow and sonic! Well, you’re half right. While that’s his base style of leather jackets and boots mixed with some jeans, the man fluctuates his style like his customers do with alcohol at the casino he works at! Not to mention work dress codes as well!

King (my OC): he’s kind of the same as nazo, but instead of more quiet luxury, he’s wearing more brand names. Like gucci T-shirts, Louis Vuitton jackets with their LV logo on it, Nike sweatpants, etc. He also sometimes wear those cheap looking $200+ cosplays you see on the internet. He mainly does this to get girls’ attention, but yeah. He’s basically all about being on trends and finding things to turn into trends, whether the others like it or not.

Thunder roared against the sky. A gigantic boom that shook the earth as its light illuminated the world around them only for a moment. The sound could grant anyone an intense anxiety. But here, through the heavy rain, Shadow stood there, a gun aimed at the thing that used to be a hedgehog.

His hands lightly shook, he felt awful. His body ached like it was on fire and he struggled to keep himself standing and his arms up in front of himself. He choked and coughed, spitting out a thick black liquid from his mouth that also came out of his eyes, it only mildly muddied his vision at this point.

He knew the parasite had already spread to most of his body at this point. He would be a goner if the virus suddenly decided to leave his system. But still, he stood there with his weapon drawn and his fangs barred at the thing in front of him. He wasn’t going down without a fight. And maybe, maybe if he decides to take out the first one, patient 0, maybe all of this would be over.

No. It won’t work.

“Shadow. Tell us something.”

It’s voice was layered and growly. Sonics tone plastered neatly above it all like an auditory mask that was just barely holding on.

“I won’t say anything to you, scum!” Shadow spat. His words merely made the monster tilt its head.

“What is. God?”

“…. What?”

“What is. God?”

It repeated, exactly the same as before.

Shadow shivered, a cold sweat came over him. Though he didn’t know if that was him or the virus making him feel sick. He shut his eyes, his chest tight from holding in his breath. Then he opened them again to stare directly into the things wide and unmoving eyes. “There is no god.”

“Wrong.”

“FUCK YOU!” Shadow cursed. “GOD ISN'T REAL! THEY DON'T EXIST!”

“Wrong.”

“IF I AM THEN TELL ME! TELL ME YOU BASTARD! WHAT IS GOD?!”

A smile creeped up on its face. Stretching enough to either side of its cheeks. Its eyes seemed to widen more as it stared directly into the black hedgehog’s own pupils, following them even when he glanced them away. A black substance dripped more out of its face as it finally artificially inhaled and spoke to him.

“It. Is. We.”

Corrupted - Oneshot (?)

Final Horizon's ending, but things go very, very wrong.

This au is driving me insane enough to get me back into writing fanfic after months of not writing. Might do more maybe idk.

Anyways. Woe corrupted au be upon ye.

The End looms over Ouranos island, its overwhelming presence crushing those below it. The Titan floats before it, beaten and powerless, yet kept up by its invisible puppet strings. A golden star glimmers defiantly, his piercing blue eyes staring death itself down.

"Sonic! It's now or never!" Eggman calls out, readying the rifle stolen from the Titan.

Sonic quickly flies into its giant barrel, focusing his power, ready to unleash it and end this nightmare once and for all.

"Sorry, Master King," Sonic says as he turns to face his enemy, "Looks like I'm going all-out after all."

He closes his eyes, tapping into the cyber-energy he kept locked away per the Koco's advice. It tingles in the tips of his fingers like electricity, spreading to his palms, up his arms, to the rest of his body. He shakes uncontrollably, power surging through his very veins, burning, corrupting.

No, wait, this isn't right. This isn't–

He yells out, pain consuming his entire being like a raging wildfire as his body spasms. Noise floods his ears, his mind racing, thoughts turning into static as he feels something snap.

The chains break.

The rifle fires.

Everything goes white.

Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Eggman, and Sage all watch with bated breath as a blue spark shoots out of the rifle, flying sporadically towards the entity looming overhead. The blue bullet pierces it, causing it to explode into thousands of fragments, raining pieces of heaven over the isles as the hellish red sky fades to a pleasant blue dawn, and the Titan falls dead onto the marshy battlefield.

The blue spark falls with the rest of the glimmering stars, crashing like a meteor, leaving a crater on the ground and burning the grass around him.

Now free of their corruption and back in physical forms, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles rush after their fallen friend, calling his name worriedly. They freeze at the crater's edge when their eyes land on Sonic, shaking as he slowly pushes himself up, eyes unfocused, growling and baring his teeth. His body is consumed by glowing cyan corruption shifting and flashing like pixels on a broken screen.

"Sonic?" Tails mutters, reaching out to him.

Sonic's head rises, his eyes darting from place to place before stopping at Tails, a black spiral staring deep into his very soul.

"Watch out!" Knuckles exclaimed, pushing Tails and Amy out of the way as Sonic lashes out, snarling and lunging at them.

Sonic knocks Knuckles down, pinning him to the ground.

"What the hell?! What's gotten into you?!" Knuckles kicks him off, sending him flying into a nearby tree. Sonic screams out in pain as he collides and falls to the ground.

"Tails, what's going on…?" Amy asked while summoning her Piko Piko Hammer.

"I-I don't know…" he stammered, "Maybe… maybe he couldn't handle all that power after all..."

Knuckles pushes himself up. "Whatever's happened to him, we gotta snap him out of it!"

Before they can do anything, however, Sonic disappears in a flash of blue, leaving a shockwave that knocks the three to the ground, and burnt grass in his wake. When they come to their senses, Sonic is nowhere to be seen, but explosions boom in the distance.

Eggman descends in his Eggmobile, followed by Sage floating next to him. There's a grim look on his face.

"Foolish hedgehog," he said, "he got in over his head and lost all control. Should've known not to take that kind of power lightly."

"This… out of my infinite calculations, this is the worst-case scenario." Sage shook her head. "He's been completely corrupted. If he's in this form for too long, he will–"

"No!" Tails interrupted, "I am not losing my brother to this!" He looks up to her, brows furrowed and a fire burning in his eyes. "Sage! You can track his movements, right?"

"Yes."

"You!" He looks to Eggman, who's scowling, "You're going to help us catch him!"

Eggman scoffs. "And what makes you think I'll help you?"

"Well, Sonic could come back at any moment, and, in this state, it's very likely he'll send you into orbit with zero hesitation the moment he sees you," Tails threatened, "plus, you're the only one with any tech on hand that could help us catch him. So either you help us get him under control, or he ends you along with us and the rest of the island."

"Tch– oh, fine!" Eggman grumbled, "I'll do it, but don't you dare think I'll ever help you again. This is the last time, got it?"

"Hmph." Tails glared at him, earning him a glare back.

Another explosion reverberates nearby, followed by Sonic screaming, catching everyone's attention.

"If my simulations are correct…" Sage began, "It should be possible to repurpose one of father's energy generators to siphon the Chaos and cyber energy out of him. But doing so comes at the risk of his life." Eggman seems to smile at that last sentence.

"Guys, I don't think we have much time left! H-how are we supposed to catch him like this?" Amy asked, gripping her hammer tightly.

Tails' heart drops, but he shakes his head. "It's worth a shot. It's not like we have any other options." Tails turns to Amy and Knuckles. "We're going to distract him while Eggman gets whatever he needs to catch him and bring him back to us. We don't have any time to waste, so let's go!"

Amy and Knuckles nod, and with that, the three set off after Sonic, following Sage's lead while Eggman goes in search for the necessary pieces to bring him down.

"You think you can escape the inevitable, mortal?"

"Fool. Don't think you have bested me simply because you have destroyed my physical form. You cannot kill me, for I am infinite."

Sonic's screams echo throughout Ouranos, he screams until his voice cracks and gives out. The pain, the burning, he can't take it. Can't think. His heart pounds in his chest as his form flickers red. He can't stop moving. He can't.

It hurts. It hurts. It hurts.

"There!" Sage said, pointing at Sonic as the rest caught up to her. "He's becoming more unstable! We need to act quickly!"

"Got it, kid!" Knuckles responded, "We'll take it from here!"

Knuckles immediately goes in for a punch, but Sonic is quick to dodge and retaliate, lunging at him and biting at his arm. Knuckles cries out in pain as he tries to shove him off.

Amy swoops in and, with a well-timed swing of her hammer, knocks Sonic away.

"I hate to do this to you, Sonic, but it's the only way!" Amy exclaims, but it falls upon deaf ears.

Sonic growls and pounces, bashing into her and knocking her down. Her hammer slips from her hands and falls just out of reach.

Before he can attack, Tails shoots him down with his arm cannon, the electric shot stunning him for a moment. "I'm sorry, Sonic," he muttered, seeing how much pain his brother was in.

Eggman and Sage approach from behind Tails, with some kind of device attached to the Eggmobile. A claw stretched out from the bottom of the floating vehicle, snatching Sonic while he's stunned.

He squirms and kicks and yells out in a vain attempt to free himself from the claw's iron grip. The device begins to rumble, and…

Sonic screams as the device drains him of his energy. Electricity sparks around him, the Emeralds finally leaving his body, flying off in different directions. It rips into his very being, tearing the corruption away from his body and into the Eggmobile's engines. The vehicle trembles, becoming overloaded with power.

"Father! Get out!" Sage cries.

Eggman hastily leaps out of the vehicle, barely landing on his feet, just as its internal mechanisms begin to explode under the immense pressure. The claw releases Sonic, letting him fall limp onto the grass as it crashes mere yards away and combusts.

"Sonic!" Tails, Amy, and Knuckles cry out as they rush to his side.

As he lies motionless on the grass, the voices of the crowd of five fade into merely distant echoes, until the burning pain that seared his body subsides, and everything goes quiet.

…

… It's dark.

His body felt so… drained. And heavy.

What's that noise? … Voices?

"I don't know how much longer I can keep him stable, father…" a younger, worried voice says, strangely sounding like it's coming out of a speaker.

"Just a little bit longer, Sage. The inhibitors are almost done… There!" an older voice says.

"Great! Now get them on, quick! Before the cyber corruption gets any worse!" a high-pitched voice exclaimed.

A hand gently lifts his left wrist, and something clicks around it. Then his right. Then around his ankles. Whatever it is feels heavy, and cold. But, somehow, the rest of his body begins to feel lighter.

"It's working! Oh my gosh, it's really working!"

"Pfft, of course it is! Thanks to my- and Sage's- ingenious design! And no thanks to you."

… What are they talking about…?

His eyes inch open, bright, white light filtering through, blinding him. He groans, closing his eyes again and rubbing them. His head hurt.

"Sonic? Are you okay? Can you hear me?" Another new voice spoke up.

"C'mon man, you've been out for almost two days now. Get up, sleepyhead!" Yet another new voice, deeper and rougher.

He feels a large hand push him. He jolts.

Suddenly, he found himself on the other side of the room, looking at five strangers that stared back at him with confused and worried looks on their strangely familiar faces. A fox with two tails, a pink hedgehog, a red echidna, and two humans, a giant clad in red with a dignified mustache, and a child that didn't look quite real.

His quills bristled. He felt his chest tighten, his breathing quicken, his hands trembling.

The fox looked at him with terrified blue eyes. "Sonic…?"

He tilts his head, confused.

Reversal Nova

(Here is what I have created so far in my Reverse AU)

A alternate universe where the roles are swapped, whether for the better or the worse...

Sonic: Dr. Boom, a hedgehog skilled in speed and mechanics. He was actually a kid, Robotnik took under his wing. He had a natural talent for inventing and machinery, but Dr. Boom saw potential in power such as the chaos emeralds to advance the machines, Robotnik didn't approve of this answer terminated all Dr.Boom's work. Feeling betrayed, the Hedgehog ran away and turned against the world that deemed him unworthy to advance it to a era of peace and freedom.

Shadow: Nocturnal Eye, partner of Dr. Boom and Leader of the alien race: Black Arms, on the planet. He seems relatively harmless to the unsuspecting eye, but he is a master of illusion and chaos energy.

Tails: Dr. Cosmos, a fellow technician and mechanical genius who sides with Dr. Boom. His machinery is known to be quite efficient and reliable, a master of words and creating machines that act as mimics around other mobians. Truly a terrifying feat for someone of his age.

Amy: Vermillion, Teller of the Future and Leader of the "Rosebuds" a group of warriors who can see into the future and protect the present to prevent disasters from occurring.

Eggman: Ivo Robotnik, Hero of Station City and the world as a whole, uses his mechanical prowess and power of lightning to defend the innocent from the hands of Dr. Boom and other villains that follow suit. Has a short patience and can be easy to annoy with petty insults tho.

Rouge: Carmine, guardian of the Master Emerald, and last of the Bat Treasure Hunters, a tribe of bats that would hunt treasure and steal from the rich to give to the poor. Has to deal with an annoying an Echidna that is also a treasure hunter with a strange connection to the emerald and tries to take it for himself.

Knuckles: Titian, an independent echidna treasure hunter, skilled in many forms of combat and is quite a people person, he has fierce personality which causes him to bump heads alot with Carmine, all he wants is understand why he feels so drawn to the Master Emerald, sure he always takes the Chaos Emeralds but that isn't the case this time, if only he could get Carmine to believe that.

Silver: Ivory, a prince from an alternate dimension that tends to interlap with Robotnik's, when it does, he tends to stick around and offer aid where he can with the help of his powers of ice.

Blaze: Lustre, a time traveler from the distant future that is both in distress and at peace given its destroyed state, has the power of Umbrakinesis and Aerokinesis, allowing her to use wind and darkness together to create bendable space matter for combat

Metal Ivo: A robot version of Robotnik created by Dr. Boom, a silent robot but he very much as attitude towards his enemies

Infinite: Zero the Jackal, member of the Rosebuds. He is able to harness the power of the purple chaos emerald and create illusions as a distraction while he disarms his opponents. Joined the squad because he is in search of his missing partner, Gadget the Wolf, who disappeared several years ago

Surge: Beryl the Tenrec, another member of the Rosebuds and childhood friend of Vermillion, knows why she created the Rosebuds and sticks by her through it all. Is raising a younger brother she adopted in all this chaos, and can harness the powers of lightning

Scourge: Jules Terios Hedgehog, Dr. Boom's twin brother, he fights on the side of the heroes and is the main reason Dr. Boom truly hasn't killed anyone yet and why no one tries to kill Dr. Boom. Jules hopes one day he'll get his twin back

Eclipse: Arcane "The Ultimate Hope" , the Nocturnal Eye's aka Spectre's younger brother. Created by Nocturnal Eye's hands, Arcane is symbolized as a beacon of hope, not only for Spectre and the Black Arms on the planet, but also for Dr. Boom. He is torn as he wishes to live life on the planet but is bound by his duty to his older brother.

Maria: Maria R. Lunae, a woman of unknown origins. No one knows who she is or where she came from, all they know is her research revolves around the Black Arms, protecting the leader that resides on the planet and a young alien from the Black Arms that tries to blend in with society (Eclipse)

Shadow! My boy! His design is really fun and interesting to mess with! My main inspirations were Black Doom, the Black Arms race, Eclipse the Darkling, Prime!Shadow, Boom!Shadow, Kabuki Makeup, and Shooting Stars/Starbursts! His jacket was inspired by a few different leather jackets that I found on Pinterest. His shoes are a combination of his movie counterpart and modern counterpart. And I didn't change his gloves, just added black palms that wrap around his wrist like his shoes :3

For his Chaos Spear I tried a bunch of different shapes before settling on this one! The shape at the end kinda reminds me of the Black Doom symbol, but smoothed down? I imagine that's Shadow's doing, whether consciously or subconsciously. I imagine the spear can also turn into other weapons! Like a Lance, Sword, Gun, Bow + Arrow, etc. He's just more proficient with a spear :3

In this AU, Shadow isn't just made up of Hedgehog and Black Arms DNA, he's also got Lizard, Porcupine, and Cat DNA! Lizard because Shadow is related to the Biolizard. Cat because Blaze was originally going to be in Shadow's place and I wanted to make a reference to that. And Porcupine because I want Shadow to be able to use his quils as Chaos infused projectiles and I'm pretty sure Hedgehogs can't do that? I mean Porcupines can't just launch their quils at predators from a distance, but hey, Sonic is an anthropomorphic Hedgehog with super speed, I think I can get away with Shadow launching Chaos infused quils at his enemies :/

If I do another one of these I'll probably do Sonic or Eclipse! Sonic because he's the main character and Eclipse because they're brothers! Honestly, I think Eclipse deserves more love :3

NEW AU: RWBY

Here is the new AU for Chai and his friends for settings in the RWBY world if anyone is interested. Check the readmore to read.

Chai

Born in the Atlas, Mantle. Chai grew up alone with nothing but his love for music and dream of being a rockstar and go to Mistral where the musical culture is thriving. But, it was hard to go anywhere let alone out of Mantle. But, he did find an opportunity by enlisting into Atlas Academy. It was a utter failure, as he didn’t pass the written exams and didn’t show much promise in the combat test despite having incredible reflexes. That didn’t stop him from sneaking in to be Atlas Grunt. He would be sent to a mission with other soldiers and hunters to push back hostile Grimm from the mines. Due to a unexpected chain reaction of the Dust, Chai’s right arm got injured and was separated from his team due to a cave in. He would be the first to arrive at their airship and found an opportunity to escape Atlas. He didn’t get far due to lack of experience and the Atlas Military caught his vessel. Chai would be imprisoned for impersonating a soldier and compromising a mission, if it weren’t for a woman named Roxanne had bailed him out. She saw him during the exam and saw promise, but knew he didn’t belong in Atlas. She promised him to see the world and help him achieve his dream if he were to represent her company at the Vytal Festival. Chai couldn’t refuse. With a robotic arm and getting some training, Chai would finally leave Atlas to see the rest of the world.

Chai never learned about his Semblance growing up, he always thought his mind was always playing music, but later he learned his Semblance syncs the world to the beat of whatever music is in his head. This enhances his timing and reflexes, as well as make him unpredictable in combat. His robotic, Hibiki, is able to magnetize metal to form into shapes he desire and energize his Semblance to make a sonic boom.

Peppermint

Vandelay has always had a rocky history with Atlas, their company wanting to prioritize the security of Mantle but with the Schnee Dust Company having a iron grip on Dust they couldn’t get far. It didn’t help that the oldest child of Vandelay turned on them to gain Schnee favoritism. With enough strings pulled, Vandelay was bought by Schnee, and Peppermint and her mom were forced out of their own company. They refused to call it quits and still helped people, going back to basics in crafting mechanical parts for homes and people, as well as using their knowledge of Dust and energy resources. They world had forgotten the work and sacrifice Roxanne did for Remnant, and Peppermint was dead set on reminding everyone. Roxanne may be willing to go the peaceful route and start over, but Peppermint was going to dig up all dirty secrets of her brother Kale and the Schnee Company. When Roxanne brought Chai in from being imprisoned, she found her partner in crime.

Macaron

Peppermint is gifted with mechanics, even customizing her prosthetic leg, crafting her twin pistols Lightning Surge, and her mechanical pet 808. She carries no Semblance, only her ingenuity has gotten her this far.

808 actually generates aura, base off of schematics Peppermint stole from a Atlas project. With 808 she was able to not only aid in enhancing someone's aura when nearby, but be a signal source for a temporal displacement feature. Allowing her and those connected to 808 to teleport to the black cat.

Macaron is a Black Bear Faunus, big guy with a big heart. The prime definition of a gentle giant. He is close friends with Roxanne and knew Peppermint when she was a kid. He would have starred in sports but Roxanne’s vision of a better world had him decide to devote his equally intelligent mind to science. Although, he does do punching on sandbags to relieve stress. He is hesitant with violence and tries to never hold a grudge, but with Kale’s betrayal and leaving Roxanne to rot, he willingly supported both Roxanne and Peppermint’s goals to still help people and have justice. He even personally crafted Chai’s new robotic arm when he joined the fold. Some people see his kind heart as weakness, either for those to discriminate on him or Faunus seeing him not willing to stand up for their cause. But, he doesn’t let it get him down and feels the world should be nicer.

His Semblance is purely strength, which he works to control to not break everything.

Korsica

Growing up in Sanus, Korsica was one of the few survivors of Mount Glenn. She was part of the rescue division to evacuate civilians. Her Faunus trait of a Red-Kite bird was perfect for rescuing people, and her Semblance also aided in fending off Grimm. It wasn’t enough and she had to witness many people dying as all she could do was watch as the city was ruined by the monsters. What made things worse was that she would be let go by her employer, Vandelay, as it was a huge loss on their resources, unaware of the change of management happening. She was left to be a simple officer in Vale now, feeling like her wings were clipped. She still worked hard, trying to track down Roman Torchwick and those who threaten her home, even if she wasn’t a detective she is willing to break rules to do what is right.

Her Semblance is to conduct wind, from either her batons or her wings, from small guts to hurricanes with enough build up.

Guys I just realized something

Remember how Eclipse wanted to turn the world into a food source?

And you know how Sonic Boom Shadow clearly doesn’t like people?

I’m not saying we combine it, I’m saying we give Boom Eclipse’s view of the world basically Modern/Mainstream Shadow’s view!

And this Boom Shadow has a soft spot for him. At first, it was a sort of self-given obligation. Shadow felt absolutely terrible that Eclipse so strongly believed that Shadow was the only thing he could actually call family because they share the same blood thanks to their father, who was very disappointed when Eclipse rebelled and…

We’ll get into details much later.

Anyways, so Shadow knows he’s not the best person. He doesn’t even consider himself a good person anymore because of his grown dislike for people. So for Eclipse to have seen how he acts and still think that he’s a much better person to call family than those he grew up with was like a missile that destroyed the walls Shadow put up around his heart with enough force to still hurt it once it got through them all.

For a moment, Shadow remembered the better times. He waited a bit to be sure that Eclipse wasn’t lying about any of it, but once he was, he made an unspoken promise to Eclipse to be the best big brother he could be and made it a mission to ensure that Black Doom would never hurt him again. (Eclipse heard Shadow’s mind when he came to that decision, but Shadow didn’t know that they could communicate telepathically at the time.)

From that moment on, many of Shadow’s decisions were made with Eclipse in mind. One example is Shadow could go for pretty much his whole life without food and water, and given his situation, he pretty much abandoned getting it. However, Eclipse and the Dark Arms needed food and water daily, and meat was their best food source. Eclipse didn’t like the idea of hurting people, though, so Shadow often had to look for other methods to getting meat than hunting.

Either that or he’d get fake meat healthy enough to pass as real meat. Eventually, the obligated feeling melted away into something much more genuine. I mean, it was genuine before, but now that he knows his brother better, it’s even stronger than before. He’s a surprisingly great brother and friend to Eclipse. This Shadow isn’t completely heartless, but most of his love and care is reserved for his brother.

Actually, you know what would be super sad? After becoming friends with Team Sonic and joining them, Black Doom appears for Eclipse and Shadow back to use them both. Team Sonic has no idea what’s going on and Eggman’s actually horrified that Black Doom intends to use their planet as a food source. Eclipse remembers his treatment before and really doesn’t want to go back. Shadow’s ready to defend his brother, and now, their new friends.

After a fight against another wave of Black Arms sent to kidnap Eclipse and Shadow, then slaughter everyone else, many of the members are tired and injured. It’s one of those really dark hours and they genuinely think that this is truly the end. They don’t know what to do.

Shadow’s never been more sure of what to do until that moment.

He takes off one of his inhibitor rings and puts it next to Eclipse, who’s still unconscious, but healing very well. He turns to everyone and says “When he wakes up, tell him I’m sorry. Tell him “He’s our father, but you’re my brother” .” and then he disappears.

Hours later, after Eclipse is awake, he sees the ring and frantically asks where Shadow is. When they tell him what he said and that he vanished, Eclipse freaks out like never before and rushes outside, screaming Shadow’s name and “no” over and over. Team Sonic goes with him to make sure he doesn’t hurt himself. They can’t stop him because he keeps trying to control their minds so they’d let him.

When they reach the beach in their search for Shadow, there’s a huge explosion in the night sky as if from space. Soon, a golden glow falls from the explosion and into the ocean. Eclipse knows what it is. Or rather, who it is. Devastated and heartbroken, he drops to his knees and screams his brother’s name as loud as both his verbal and mental voices will allow.

Shadow went to the Comet, directly into the heart of the beast, took the chaos emeralds held inside, and removed the rest of his inhibitor rings. This time, there was no miraculous recovery.

Addressing those who are reading Sonic Cyber Revolution (Sonic the Hedgehog AU Story)

While the cast of characters for my Sonic Cyber Revolution is quite large, I've managed to introduce most of the important Sonic characters, with several more coming up in future chapters. This left me wondering whether those who read my story want to see any specific characters that I haven't introduced or even mentioned yet, but fit under the conditions that I have set.

My conditions for character suggestions consists of:

*The character must have been featured in the mainline Sonic media, such as the video games, comics or cartoons. NO OCs!!!

*The Sonic media in question consists of the canon Sonic video games (meaning Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is out of the question as it is not canon), Sonic IDW comics, Sonic movies or the Sonic cartoons (specifically the Sonic OVA, Sonic X, Sonic Boom & Sonic Prime).

*The characters from the following Sonic media WON'T be accepted: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAM, Sonic Underground, Sonic the Comic, Sonic Archie comics.

*Yes, that means that the Freedom Fighters won't be featured in the story. No, I won't reconsider this decision. I'm sorry to those who got their hopes up.

*I do regret not adding Scourge the Hedgehog and Shard the Metal Sonic from the Sonic Archie comics, tho. As well as the evil Super Sonic from Sonic the Comic.

*But, isn't Eclipse the Darkling a Sonic Archie comics original character? Why is he going to appear and not the others?

*Eclipse the Darkling is the sole exception to this rule due to his nature as a member of the Black Arms, meaning that he will make his appearance when I adapt Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

*Take note that this is a Sonic AU, meaning that the characters will have familiar, but very different backgrounds from their canon selves.

*Both Classic Era and Modern Era characters are free game, as noted by the appearance of Honey the Cat. The main cast, as listed above, appear as their Modern selves.

I love how my silly little brain prescribes like a significant chunk of the vocal tracks of ShTH to the Black Arms in some way

I Am (All of Me) is Doom to me - especially the bridge but I do kinda see the whole song as Doom's POV with bits from other characters interlaced within

Almost Dead really fits my interpretation of the Black Arms well but honestly I think that one is meant to be a Black Arms theme like actually so. Lol.

Maybe this has come about because I really like Chosen One but I have so many gripes with the semi-hero ending and how it's executed but. To be I ended up associating that song with Eclipse of all people a lot LOL. They were meant to be the Blarms' Chosen One but. Man.

Does taking from the "lost songs" that never actually made it into ShTH make this more or less absurdist? Whatever. Broken fits Shadow's characterization in Shadow Fall so well to me

And uh. An honorable mention of a vocal track that's not from ShTH at all but I do wanna bring up as it's tangentially related to this whole post theme

Truly the most absurdist of all as this straight up involves one of my OCs but I like to imagine the one singing Sonic Boom (the Sonic CD US Opening music) is Tsunami. That is all.
