YES IT WAS CHEESY BUT ONCE AGAIN, ITS FREAKING DISNEY! YOU AREN'T GOING FOR SOPHISTICATION! It was FUN, it takes you from the real world! The whole park had an overall sorcerer's mickey theme going on in that era, so it fit! It was also a perfect icon for the park! I will never forgive them for getting rid of it. Oh and it was a great spot for characters!

The fact they took this out makes me absolutely furious. It is what made this place SO unique! Now it just looks like a generic lightly themed lobby! I am SO tired of Disney taking away everything and all the special details that made Disney unique.

Sorcerer Mickey using the power of his master’s hat to put on a star show

I made this as a tribute to “Fantasia” for being the first ever film to watch as an adult that enlightened my interests for both film and animation, and making me realize and appreciate what it’s capable of doing. And it became one of my all time favorite movies and it holds a special place in my heart even after seeing it five years ago in 2018.
