Hi akckksx my bad for making it confusing for the Noritoshi ask!!!
What I was thinking is actually how Noritoshi would react if his old crush that he pined for becomes evil from being pressured by the Jujutsu society and expectations on them. Like s/o went from teasing and playful to just being dubbed as a murderer after they snapped. Noritoshi is forced to see them slowly losing themselves sorta
But if it's hard to do or hard to imagine, that's totally fine too!! I don't mind just some headcanons about Noritoshi in denial with liking s/o!! Sorry for the confusion!!
I meaaann! I really like the first idea! It’s so interesting and a lot can be explored but to be honest, I have such little creativity over such a genius concept that I can’t really come up with anything for it! However, I hope doing the second idea, which is wholesome and JJK needs wholesome for once, will be just as good… or hopefully, will be good!
Kamo Noritoshi- Numb Senses
Tumblr media
Everybody in Tokyo Jujutsu High and in Kyoto Jujutsu High can see that the level-headed, almost emotionless Kamo Clan heir has more fondness towards a single sorcerer than he’ll ever openly admit
Noritoshi usually doesn’t let anything fly directly into his head, it goes over his head and he responds with the most well-mannered, controlled manner a teenager possibly could but in front of his crush, he is struggling
Noritoshi refuses to acknowledge it… he won’t acknowledge it. He doesn’t feel anything for you, you’re just another fellow student. It’s not like he thinks about you. It’s just that you work with him during missions a lot. There is no actual substance here!
Noritoshi rejects his friend’s remarks over him liking you. He flat-out puts those ideas down since he is too up his ass at being the most perfect leader and clan heir to admit he has emotional connections. He must always put his business first and he can’t let his feelings tie him down
Noritoshi doesn’t want to put any type of attention onto the fact he is very favouritistic and even servitude towards you. He’ll do anything you want and just disguises it as being polite and respectful as a good person. He doesn’t realise that it’s all fuelled by his affections for you
Noritoshi always claims you’re simply a good friend, hence why he talks to you… or more, interacts with you briefly in such a friendly, open fashion. He tells you things he’d never tell even on the verge of death or in the face of torture. He merely brushed off the fact it’s more signs of his love
Noritoshi is such in deep denial that he doesn’t wish to acknowledge how worried and protective he is over you. That he is just certain he is only caring because he’s a friend, you’re important to the institution and especially to the world. He can just let you die, it’d be an awful thing. Awful for the Sorcerer population… and himself
Noritoshi actually does think about you more than he wants to. He wonders if you’ll like certain things he sees but he never notices these little facts. That he looks at specific items like plushes or clothes and envisions you with them. He just believes all that is nonsense
Noritoshi wishes everybody would stop saying he likes Dokusha, that he likes you. It’s driving him up the wall, every single time he interacts with you openly and smiles at you upon departing. He doesn’t like you, he’s just a good friend. Can’t friends smile to each other?!
Noritoshi will never man up about his own feelings. He just tries to shove them to the back, deep stuck in his own ass and his own duties as Clan Heir. He doesn’t believe he feels anything but friendship to you, though, in reality. He’d love you to be his spouse

Gege's Explanation:
In this chapter, Gege addresses several common theories among readers, particularly those on TikTok, regarding easier ways to defeat Sukuna. He dismisses these points clearly, offering explanations for why these strategies wouldn't work:
1. Maki Switching with Yuta (Boogie Woogie): Many believed Maki could have switched with Yuta using Boogie Woogie, but Gege explains that this wouldn't be effective. Maki couldn’t stop Sukuna’s rampage, and the plan would fall apart quickly.
2. Cursed Speech and Higuruma’s Sword: The idea of using Cursed Speech or Higuruma’s sword to weaken Sukuna is debunked, as the backlash from using such techniques would be too much, likely leading to Cursed Speech users dying from overuse or collapse.
3. Foreigners Joining: Some fans speculated that foreign sorcerers would arrive to assist in defeating Sukuna. However, Gege points out that even though these foreigners initially refused to get involved, they eventually changed their minds and joined later, but they were not enough to tip the balance.
4. Todo Unable to Save Yuji and Choso: Fans hoped Todo could step in to save Yuji and Choso. However, Gege explains that Sukuna’s cursed energy was far too strong, and with both Yuji and Choso caught in the middle of the battle, Todo couldn't intervene in time.
---
The Clan War:
The three great houses—Zenin, Kamo, and Gojo—have been locked in a stalemate for quite some time. While some believe this power imbalance hints at a sequel, I disagree for several reasons:
1. Zenin Clan: With Megumi and Maki now representing the Zenin clan, their power is significantly reduced compared to their peak.
2. Gojo Clan: The Gojo clan has lost its strongest member, Satoru Gojo, leaving them weakened and without a clear leader.
3. Kamo Clan: Kenjaku, the former head of the Kamo clan, is dead, leaving the Kamo clan with no strong leadership as well.
If anything, the future will likely see the students (the next generation) joining the Shin Kage—a group that could rise to take over Jujutsu society. These young sorcerers are strong enough to wipe out anyone standing in their way, signaling a fresh start for the world of Jujutsu sorcery.
(I got several asks last night, mostly on anon. I like getting asks and if you want to stay on anon that's good but also if you want to you can add a personal emoji to your asks. To distinguish yourself and so on 🙂)
Most of what Gege wrote in the war review part of last chapter I had already mentioned during my reviews of the Shinjuku fight in the last year. For me nothing of what was said was new or mindbreaking information. Especially the Toge part 😄 I've said it mostly for Nobara but its the same for both: if they attacked Sukuna too early they would explode 😂
About the clans:
I have to disagree on the Zenin. Like I said in my review, they lost nearly all of their fighters, however they didn't lose their power. Maki is the one who killed them and is therefore stronger than them, a special grade in all but name. Megumi has been said two chapters ago that he would be a special grade as well. With only those two the Zenin obviously don't have their direct political power anymore but they're still powerful.
The Gojo was already about to be ousted if it hadn't been for Satoru's birth. Now though, Yuta can take over the clan as he's a distant and extremely strong relative of them. Of course, they wouldn't be as strong as with Gojo Satoru.
Yes, on the Kamo. Their usurper of a leader is gone now and their previous heir left as well (the thing is, Kenjaku would've had to leave the Kamo the moment Gojo came back so what did they do in the one month timeskip?) Noritoshi could come back though, this time together with his mother. The Kamo would've lost their political power though I guess.
So the funny thing here is, including Kusakabe being the head of the NSS school, that all the old powers are more or less concentrated in the hands of our guys. This does not preclude heavy conflict however.
Last chapter reintroduced heavy power play machinations into the JJ society. And that from a non-clan entity. In Hidden Inventory, a non-clan sorcerer group and even a non-sorcerer group made power plays inside JJS. With the extremely changed landscape of the world right now, such power plays are likely to happen again.
As in, the lower clans like the Inumaki could want to fill the power vacuum the big clans left behind. The Japanese government might make moves. The invading armies might make alliances.
I see the extremely detailed NSS parts of last chapter, including several panels of Mei Mei killing the old NSS head, not as a last note on the big clans but as an expansion of the power dynamics that are constantly at play in the background of JJK.
And those could indeed fill the background story parts of a potential JJK Part 2.

Omg imagine Noritoshi trying to convince Reader to run away with him. He's begging for them to come with him so they can have a chance to be happy away from all the death and fighting of Jujutsu sorcery.
But uh-oh ANGST ensues instead cus reader wants to stay and fight. Reader would feel guilty just leaving and not at least trying to help in the defeat of Kenjaku. They refuse him and he has to decide if he still wants to leave without them or stay to protect them. 🤧🤧✋🏼(Or actually just kidnap them and take them with him lol)

||The Misadventures of the Phoenix and the Shadow Chimera Sorcerers Part 10- Battle of Ice and Fire ||
Hi everyone. This is Part 10 of this Drabble series. This is for my rp friend, @the-silver-peahen-residence. If you haven't read the parts yet, please do. That said...my grammar is a bit iffy as this is written for pure enjoyment. Enjoy.
---- Previous Parts -----
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8
Part 9
--- Esteemed Guests in drabble ---
Taz Hellion, Kinie, Rioto Kir-IN, belong to me Taz and Kine from @demon-blood-youths and Daichi and Rioto on this blog. Both blogs belong to me.
Ryomen Sukuna, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Maki Zenin, and Nobara Kugisaki are Peahen-men's muses. They are mentioned briefly in the Drabble.
----- Summary ----
The Tokyo and Kyoto have a team-up mission regarding an infenstion of cursed spirits in huge village. The mission has been completed and both schools are taking a break. Daichi and Rioto meet up and hang out together until they came across a missing one. What will happened?
---
"So Rioto. How are you doing at Kyoto High?" Daichi asked.
"Um....Kyoto is alright. Utahime-sensei is nice and but a little strict. So is the principal, Gakuhanji is something. I had to prove myself why I want to become a sorcerer. So I did and told me that I should stick to being a first-year to catch up and help other years."
"Did you make any friends?"
"Well...uh...there's Kamo and Miwa. They're just classmates but they were nice. The rest...are uh....getting used to it." Rioto sighed.
"That's good!" Daichi
"Not really? I mean Kamo feels bad for me and so is Miwa. The rest don't like but they like Miryu." Rioto mentions his cursed companion, Miryu. A blue seahorse with a unicorn horn and two antlers. Similar to Eito, he also look plush-like and flies with tiny flappers similar to seahorse. He blows bubbles while saying 'Buu...' and 'Muuu."
Both Miryu and Eito are playing as they are flying above the two sorcerers. No doubt, his classmates like Miryu.
"So what happened?"
"Well...."
-------
"Everyone." Utahime introduced Rioto to the class, "This is our new student....Syougo Shin-"
"I am Rioto Kirin!" Rioto said his name. "I prefer if you all call me by that name!" He said firmly surprising the class and startled Utahime. "And this is my trusting partner, Miryu!"
A seahorse floats by Rioto's side.
"Muu..." Miryu introduces himself, blowing bubbles from its nose as he is swimming around the class. The girls in the class, Miwa, Momo and Mai find it cute. The boys are intrigued.
"It's nice to meet you, Rioto. My name is Noritoshi Kamo." He said with a respectful nod. "This is Mechamaru, Arata Nitta, Todo Aoi. You must be the new first-year."
That I am, yes." Rioto nods.
"What's up with horns?" Arata asked, pointing at his ice horns that look like antlers. Not to mention, the fur around his collar of his uniform.
"This is for daily battle!"
"Daily Battle?" Arata sweat dropped.
"So you must be the one who brought a village almost to a ice age ." Mai said. "I'm surprised a curse user is allow to attend our school."
Kamo sighs a little, hearing that. Mai has no filter. But he is surprised to hear Rioto's response.
"Correction. My issue is with the few people of the village before my deserving defeat at the hands of Great Daichi Pheon-X. My goal is fight Daichi Pheon-X. That said, I am here to owe a great debt to him and work to pay it off to make it up for my wrong choices by contributing in Kyoto High and to help jujutsu society in general." Rioto says.
"Daichi Pheon-X? The sorcerer who streams online?" Kamo asked.
"The guy with that little bird of his?" Mechamura asked.
"Looks dumb." Momo said. But the bird is cute.
"I hear he's attending Tokyo school." Said Miwa. Rioto nods, "Correct. The Great Daichi told me that Jujutsu High is a good place to meet others who wishes to understand jujutsu sorcery and curses along with other things. That said, I hope we get to along well."
-----
"Doesn't sound bad." Daichi said. Rioto sighs, "Yes....errr..."
----
During lunch time where Kamo explains the classes to him, Todo got in his way.
"Hey! What kind of girls do you like?"
Rioto blinks. "What?"
"Todo...please." Kamo sighs, knowing where this is going.
"I asked if you have a type." Todo asked. "What kind of type is your woman? Answer me!"
"Uh....well..." Rioto looks unsure of this, looking dumbfound a bit.
"It can be boys too." Todo said. Kamo begins, "Rioto...you don't have to..."
"If you're talking about romance....then...then.." Rioto begins. Kamo held his breath, hoping Rioto has a good answer.
"Then I have no interest in that kind of thing! Something like that does not interest me at all!" Rioto said with utmost confidence which made Kamo gasp and sweat dropped. Oh no...
Then Rioto hears a sniffle and is staring wide as Todo cries. Making Rioto blinked, "Wait...why are you cryin-" The ice sorcerer got whiplash by a clothesline. "You! A coward!" Then he picks up Rioto and does German duplex, Rioto quickly breaks the fall using ice making Todo slip. Rioto got out of his hold and does a flip, not before taking his asthma pump.
"What do you think you're doing?! If you wish to fight, I will be glad to take your challenge!!"
"You don't think about women?! Not only, you're not interested in women and men?! What kind of man are you?!" Todo yelled. "What kind of answer was that?!"
"Why does that matter?!" Rioto yelled.
"I'm going to beat the crap out of you and I hope you change your answer!"
"BRING IT!" Rioto summons his ice golems. Kamo yells in a panic, "Not inside the school!"
Little does Rioto know, he has been brutally defeated thanks to Todo's Boogie Woogie technique. Kamo had to take him to the nurse's office for his injuries.
-----
"Then I got beat up by the third year, Todo Ali The Oni!" Rioto tightens his fists as he is upset.
"Uhh...because of your answer on what kind of woman is your type?" Daichi blinked. Rioto sighs and nods, "And he keeps bothering me till I change my answer. To be honest, I don't know what woman or man is my type because I never think of it so I try to come up with a excuse."
"You could of been just honest?"
"So I get beat?!" Rioto exclaimed. "No way! I make sure to avoid him at all costs! I even try to pay Mai to get him out of the way!" He sighed. "I even ask Miwa to hide me from him!" He sighed.
"Well...at least you have friends!" Daichi pats him on the back. But as they walk together, passing a warehouse. They felt a prescence. A cursed one.
Both look at each other and enter inside without hesitation. They missed a cursed spirit and on their way to exorcise it. Not thinking this spirit is almost above their grade.
----
"Where are we?" Rioto asked as the room changes. Daichi gulps, "I read something about this. Where we are is in innate domain?"
"Huh?! Wait...if that's it! Then that means..."
"We're dealing with 1st grade or a special grade!" Daichi frowns which makes Rioto spooked a little. Both Miryu and Eitio can sense their concerns so they stay close to their partners. "Okay, Rioto. You and me gotta be careful until we found the cursed spirit."
"So what kind of cursed spirit would make this?"
The place is full of edges and stairs. It's like an labrinyth. Regardless, they kept going and going. Going. Going. Going. Still going.
"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" Rioto yelled, stomping on the ground as ice freezes the part of the ground. Daichi sighs. They have been walking, climbing the stairs and everything. They keep on moving but nothing in sight. Daichi thinks as he sits down on a stair. Maybe the cursed spirit is smart and tries to exhaust them by having them walk anywhere in its domain. They passed rooms because Daichi doesn't think it's good idea to enter in one of them so sooner or later, they have to confront this spirit.
Then both heard a chuckle. "You will never find me. You two are just bait!" A voice crackles. Two immediately became on guard as they brings out their preceptive elements. Daichi with his flame sword and Rioto with his icy lance. Miryu and Eito remain close to the duo. More laughter is heard.
"You two have no idea what you're dealing with! Can't believe one of you is with the vessels that held King of Curses and the other one that calls itself Kinie Ger."
Daichi widens his eyes. Wait..what?
"My master would be pleased."
Master? Daichi narrows his eyes. "Who are you?"
"The name is Tsumi! Your enemy and I found you two the most ridiculous bunch! You two make the perfect bait. I will lead those sorcerers here and kill them until I get to face off those two cursed spirits! Who knows! Maybe I can get that girl that hold Kinie Ger. She seems fun."
Daichi scowls hearing this. Yeah...no way in hell. He won't let anyone hurt his friends. "Where are you?"
"Patience. If you wish to jump to your death, go up!" Tsumi chuckled. Daichi takes a breath and looks to Rioto. Rioto nods. "Wherever you go, I will go with you, my great rival!" He grins. Daichi smiles. Both went up. To see a door and enters. Inside is a arena where a skinny male with a youthful look. He has green slick-back hair and swishes his long tail.
"Here we are!" Tsumi laughs as he brings out his claws. He jumps down, "So you two must be Rioto and Daichi! Two idiots over their heads. For I am Tsumi! A cursed spirit who is smarter than any human."
Rioto and Daichi just stared.
"Listen here, you foul curse! We will prevail!" Rioto points as he strikes. pose. Daichi chuckles and does it too. Tsumi sneers, "Let's see what you got!"
The battle begins.
----- Somewhere ------
"Hmmm..." Megumi sips his drink, making a face as he is eating his soba noodles. Nobara and Yuji noticed this. "You okay, Fushiguro?" Yuji asked, eating his noodles. Taz is eating her grilled eel over rice, hearing this with a curious look.
"Not sure. Just a feeling." He said. "A feeling where things go wrong." He said.
"I mean we exorcise all the cursed spirits in the area." Nobara said. Megumi grumbles a bit, "True. But...there's something else." A face came to his mind.
"Where's Daichi?" He asked.
"He's hanging out with Rioto." Taz answered. "That's what he told me." She answered. Megumi hears this and sighs, "I just hope those two don't run into trouble."
"Oh come on, what would the worst thing can happened?" Nobara said.
--
"Wow! So these are the Great Daichi and Rioto! You two with dumbest titles I ever heard of is on their knees. What makes you think you two can defeat me?!" Tsumi laughs. Daichi and Rioto are on their knees, panting. Right now, they felt disoriented whenever Tsumi keeps on moving.
Daichi tries to figure out his cursed technique. Is it dizziness, messing with the senses. Tsumi chuckles, "You see, my technique is Distortion. I mess sense of direction and spin the room around." He laughs.
So that's it. Daichi looks to Eito and whispers to him. Then Eito whispers to Miryu. Miryu whispers to Rioto. He widens his eyes and look at Daichi to whom he nods. Both are slowly standing up and hold their hands together. Tsumi laughs seeing this.
"What? Are you going to confess to each other? Well..I can't blame you. You two are going to die anyway!" Tsumi laugh and activates his distortion.
"Not quite!" Daichi said as both unleashes their curse technique. Flames and a blizzard. With them both holding hands, they go to dance as they go in a circle. Shooting out powerful flames and blizzard, this got Tsumi blink as he backs off. Soon, they turn into a spiral of the dual elements. Weathering the arena to where it becomes weak. Tsumi screams as he felt the burns of both fire and ice. Tsumi unwittingly turns off his technique. Tsumi got blasted by fire and was impaled by a ice shard. Tsumi stumbles and staggers. Then he widens to see Tsumi blink his eyes, both sorcerers of fire and ice jump in the air, throwing their respective attacks.
Fire in a form of a Pheonix. And a blizzard attack in form of a Kirin. Both hit Tsumi and send him flying and he was crashed against the wall. The domain begins to fall apart.
"Have you two lost your minds?!" Said the cursed spirit as he can't believe this. Tsumi can't believe these two will cause so much damage. The scaly figure had to take steps back from them with fear now. These human children. ARE NOT NORMAL!
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Rioto and Daichi laughed together insanely as they combine their attacks together. Calling it their combo attack, "Dual Elemental Blast!" They both said as they fire off their attack of their presceptive elements, fire and ice.
---
KABOOM!
An explosion is heard in the distance. Megumi and Kamo look at the huge smoke coming off from their positions. What the???
--- Minutes later ----
Under the rubble, Daichi and Rioto got out as they are breathing heavily. Their companions, Eito and Buu were getting them out of the rubble. The sorcerers have won.
"We survived!" Rioto exclaimed with a grin.
"That was crazy." Said Daichi, dusting his hair off from the debris. As both Chunibyo sorcerers got out of the rubble and dust themselves, a crash is heard making them turn around. The warehouse is now half in rubble.
Both look at each other. How are they're going to explain this?
"Uh...so...how are we going to tell this to them?" Rioto asked.
"Well...let's just say we fought a strong cursed spirit with a domain! Knowing them, they pretty much understand!"
"Right! If I tell Kamo, he will understand! Kamo is always understanding!" Rioto smiled. Daichi blinks, "Kamo?"
"Yes! He's the first I trust!. " He said as Miryu is blows a bubble and gives a 'buy'. Eito chirps in understanding.
"Anyway! I'm going to go to Kamo for help and tell him what happened! I think he's nearby!" Said Rioto. Daichi nods. "Right!"
Daichi lets out a sign as Eito chirps. "I know, right! I think me and Rioto did a pretty good job. Now...we need to explain this! As long as we get our straight, we will be fine!"
Little did they know, the explosion is heard from others. And they're going to deal with a very angry Fushiguro very soon.
To be continued...

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks...
I have, but luckily I enjoy gushing about some of my favorite characters aksjdklkgl so I'm happy to answer again! Last time I just listed some but this time I'll 1. Do a limit of one per series and 2. Give an actual description of why I love them. Also I'm so sorry this will be mostly animanga characters just because these characters stick in my head easier for some reason? My memory is truly awwwwful. (Also also this is by no means a definitive list or order, just some that I really really like).
Zoro (One Piece)
I feel like I've talked a fair length about Sanji and Robin and why I love them so much, but I have a little bit of a difficult time with Zoro. Fun fact before I started watching one of the few things I knew was that he was a fan favorite an was determined that I wouldn't like him that much, he's the "cool and badass and broody" one and I thought he was gonna be the kind of character similar to Megumi (JJK) or maybe Bakugou (MHA) both who I like but it's not favorite archetype. But then I realized. He's just a Guy. a Silly Guy. My man is stupid in such interesting and unique ways ajfdklsl. But what I REALLY love about his character is , yeah, he is kind of broody and reserved, but it seems more like a burden he puts on himself in order to protect the people he loves rather than a true reflection of himself. He cares SO much about the people that he loves and it's clear to me that his greatest fear is not being strong enough to protect them. His "I need to get stronger" attitude honestly seems to stem a looot from his anxieties and maybe even trauma around losing Kuina at such a young age. Ok I could talk forever about him and it's actually not difficult to pin down why I love him but I'll end it there.
2. Kenjaku (JJK)
I've kind of built a bubble within my online presence where I don't really see the vitriol, but I know this is REALLY not a popular opinion, and a lot of people are confused as to why I really like them (biggest offender is my sister who gives me shit for this constantly lmao). And I get it! Kenjaku is genuinely vile in what they have done (particularly as Kamo Noritoshi) and what they're trying to do with the merger. By all means he shouldn't (isn't) supposed to be likeable. But they REALLY captured my attention when I caught up to JJK back in August and read the Culling Games arc in full. For starters, silly guy, and I love silly guys (see above example). They're pretty unique where they fall into this "mad yet cold scientist" trope but...they're playful? They're genuinely excited about sorcery and will be kind of annoying where, for the life of them, they CANNOT read the room that everyone just doesn't care or actively hates them (which makes me a little sad honestly lol)? Little bits of information were just constantly intriguing (their relationship to Tengen, being a foil to Yuki, and not to even start on them being Yuji's mom). What really cemented it for me was the Takaba vs. Kenjaku fight though. Kenjaku before this seems driven to keep going for scientific curiosity, but it's clear to me that they're bored, disappointed, and even seem depressed a little bit ("And yet...there must be more to human potential"). But then Takaba comes along. And they honestly have an instant connection while also pushing each other in ways nobody has before. Isn't that insane on Kenjaku's part? They've been alive for over 1000 years!! They find someone who understands them, they might be enemies but they are a duo. Gahhh I could talk about Kenjaku forever they have so many layers and they just fascinate me SO much.
3. Yona (Yona of the Dawn)
One of my favorite protagonists of all time, without a doubt. And I didn't even like her in the beginning (you're not supposed to really). At the beginning of the series, she's honest to god, a spoiled brat. She whines, she complains, she's incredibly weak and takes people for granted. But good god, this is one of the best character arcs I have ever seen in my life. When her entire world is thrown upside down and she's betrayed by her childhood best friend, and has to go on the run with Hak, she just matures and grows into herself so beautifully. She travels around her kingdom for the first time and sees the complexity of the situation where, yeah, she lost her father because of Soo-Won, and that hurts still, but she understands why because it becomes kind of clear that her father was pretty incompetent as a ruler. If I picked one character on this list that just has the best character development, Yona sweeps I'm sorry.
4. Killua (HxH)
Ugh this really should be both Gon and Killua but if I had to choose one it's Killua. Another great example of amazing character development. At the beginning he's already a fun character to watch, he's easygoing and quippy and just cool honestly. But with his upbringing as an assassin he's clearly not very...well adjusted to what a normal life looks like. He's raised to be a cold and ruthless killer and nothing more, and that's reflected in the Hunter exam arc when he swipes a guy's heart from his chest without a second thought. But then he meets Gon, and for the first time in his life he gets to just be a normal 12 year old boy? And as he goes on this adventure you can just see him become more human to the point he can't ever return to how he was at the beginning of the series. And to have that parallel with Gon (particularly in the Chimera Ant arc) where Gon is losing his humanity while Killua gains it?? UGH I want to give this kid a hug so bad I love him.
5. Riza Hawkeye (FMA)
On this list because she sent me into my first gay panic (at least, the first one I was consciously aware of LMAO). God, what a woman. She is incredibly hot but I do love her character as well. It's hard to talk about her without also talking about Roy (and vice versa) because they are just SO intertwined, but god if there were ever soulmates, it's maybe them. Just the level of respect and trust they have in each other is unlike anything I've ever seen, where they both are so haunted by their pasts but they keep each other going and are able to so easily rely on each other? Ugh they're just so amazing, and with Riza seeing how strong she is where her own father uses her to protect flame alchemy, and her just 100% trust in Roy to burn the tattoo?? Wowowowowow she just. She changed me.
6. Anatole (The Great Comet of 1812/War and Peace)
Ok so um. My big secret is that I'm a Musical person. I really don't talk about it much here lmao, but when I tell you I was like. Obsessed with the musical The Great Comet of 1812 for a solid two years that's no joke. Which is just. If you don't know a musical that adapts about 90 pages from the novel War and Peace (stick with me here). And my even bigger secret is that I'm obsessed with Anatole, who is the villain/antagonist. Um he's not even particularly deep I don't think, he just sucks. But he captured my heart by being a silly guy. This man is an arrogant piece of shit man but also kind of a coward, and him singing the line "Just as a duck is made to swim in water, God has made me as I am" to justify him cheating, I-...it changed something in me. Never before or after have I wanted to dissect a character's brain so much in my life. He's maybe the first silly villain that I just really loved lmao, maybe there's a Anatole -> Kenjaku pipeline (this pipeline only exists for me and no one else in this world).
7. Toph (Avatar the Last Airbender)
God choosing between Zuko and Toph was difficult for this entry, but I want to talk about Toph lmao. Just. What a unique and refreshing female character where I still think her writing is ahead of it's time. Just on the surface she's so fucking cool right. What an introduction where she's soloing all these musclehead earthbenders and putting grown men into the dirt. And such good representation of a disabled character where she's clearly not incapable and the things she can do well, she does really really well! But she is faced with the reality of needing help sometimes and she's not ashamed to ask for it, and I think there's this really good balance struck with her character between these two factors. I think she also just blends into the gaang seamlessly while also challenging them in new ways, and vice versa, and they really don't seem complete without her.
8. Eurydice (Hadestown)
Ok oooonnnnneee more musical character and this is definitely more justified lmao. Another big secret is that I love Greek mythology, was obsessed with it as a kid and still am. And Hadestown twisting the Orpheus and Eurydice story into this grim early 20th century industrialist/capitalist setting with jazz elements?? I'm a history major I'm such a BIG nerd for shit like this, and this is the best iteration of Eurydice to me. In the original myth, she gets sent to the underworld because a snake bites her, there isn't any agency to it, it's just bad luck essentially. In the musical, she CHOOSES to go down with Hades to the underworld, and that small thing does wonders for her character. She obviously loves Orpheus, but the fact is, she's going hungry and growing cold, and where before she would run away, she stayed for her love of Orpheus. And then Hades slips in to offer her food and shelter for the exchange of labor, and she leaves to the underworld, not realizing the colossal mistake she just made. She's such a flawed character but you understand why she makes the mistakes she does, and her character is just so incredibly human.
9. Mob (Mob Psycho 100)
This kiiiiiiid. God I love him. Apologies to Gojo but this is just the best instance of an "OP" character. This kid has busted ass psychic powers, powers that people literally worship. Unfortunately this doesn't save him from any of the horrors that middle school presents. He can't talk to his crush, he kinda sucks at sports, and he has little to no social skills. And on top of that he feels the need to suppress his emotions due to the consequences of his powers? GAHHH I just think Mob is maybe one of the relatable characters ever, you can be the best at something but that doesn't save you from the growing pains that being a teenager presents! And just his journey of self acceptance and kindness and love is so heartwarming to see, the way he resolves his insecurities throughout the series just healed something in me too.
10. Sophie Hatter (Howl's Moving Castle)
HMC isn't even my all time favorite Ghibli movie (top 3 though), but it's certainly the one I've gone back to the most and that's in large part due to Sophie. At the beginning of the movie, she certainly isn't in a bad place in life but there is this...melancholy? sadness? to her where it seems life is more happening to her and she has zero self esteem. When the curse is placed on her and then we can literally see her character journey and the ups and downs being reflected in her appearance, it's just so unique and realistic. It's so satisfying to see her start to actually live her life, to gain confidence in all of her various states, and how she helps both her new found family and how they help her as well. Another character where her development is just unmatched.
Thank you for sending this ask, I had a lot of fun rambling here <3

A concept that won't leave me in peace.
Soooo... A previous Six Eyes (SE) was murdered by Kenjaku. Screw the timeline and let's think that he did it while possessing Noritoshi Kamo.
The Gojo Clan declared the Kamo Clan as culprits for the assassination. It sadly didn't go anywhere because the Zenin Clan backed Kamos for political reasons. This made the Gojos seethe.
The 4th SE was born. They grew up long enough to stop Kenjaku again. However, their life was cut short in a duel against the Zenin's clan head. Again, the Gojos demanded reparations. They were ignored as the Kamos returned the favor and supported the Zenins.
Naturally, the Gojos went "Fuck this shit. We're out." And I mean really out. They had all their active sorcerers pulled out from everywhere. They literally burned their bridges by destroying their own compound to hide their traces so no one from the jujutsu society will ever find them again.
There was a great diaspora of the Gojo clans. They set roots in places far away and unexpected by the other clans to avoid further assassination attempts on their precious SE.
The Gojos became a strong-knit family after the complete disregard for the death of their leader twice. Even if they were apart and in hiding, they did their best to keep in touch in a variety of ways both mundane and magical.
And so, the Gojos successfully integrated themselves into society as sorcerers hiding in plain sight:
The main family founded a successful and powerful corporation in the tech industry. Through the use of a CT, the Gojos mass produced products that can pass as talismans to ward off curses from their customers.
One branch family entrenched themselves in the entertainment industry. Through musicians and dancers, they can enhance any Gojo products' potency as long as they are within range of their live performance or recordings in play. Actors, models, photographers, news reporters, and filming crew are the "field" agents in exorcising curses as they work their day jobs.
Another branch is in the pharmaceutical industry and is making their way slowly to the top. They don't have yet the perfect CT that can help make their products useful against curses but they are working hard on it.
A select few went into various temples, shrines, churches, hospitals, and the police. Their roles are akin to spies. Any curse or sorcerer-related cases tend to be reported there first. They are still mulling about going into politics and the food industry.
The reason behind their drive to succeed both in and out of jujutsu related everything is pure spite. They are living up the motto "I can live without you but can never live without me."
Beating the Zenins and the Kamos regarding sorceries without them being the wiser is their clan's mission. The two clans' frustration is a great source of entertainment for the Gojos ever since one of them had a CT that is like an SE offshoot that allows them to observe a room at a great distance. That particular Gojo infiltrated Tokyo and Kyoto jujutsu schools as a janitor to set up discreet "spy cams".
However, the Gojos do feel bad about the non-clan affiliated sorcerers. So they try to alleviate their burden by helping in a round about way to avoid revealing themselves.
Then, Satoru was born and he was spoiled rotten albeit suffocated. He is treated like the next best thing since sliced bread, the ultimate weapon, and a fine porcelain doll.
Satoru's childhood is a bit confusing but Satoru knows he is the clan's greatest darling. Adults are fighting over what he'd be in the future. Will he inherit the tech company? Should he go into acting or singing? Maybe he'd be charismatic enough to be a politician. A model was a good option too or an an athlete!
All plans were put into a halt though when the Gojo in the police department found Riko in a car accident. They learned she was a potential Star Plasma Vessel (SPV). So they took her and her maid in.
Satoru instantly fell in love at being an older brother. He wished for Riko to be his little sister to protect and spoil.
The Gojos know the SE, SPV, and Tengen have a weird connection with each other. They were wary about having the two children close and having the Amanais as part of the family. However, one look from two pairs of big baby blues and the entire family folded.
Tough luck for Tengen. The Gojo clan do not bear the old sorcerer any grudge but they are just really weak against this generations' SE and SPV. They unanimously decided to let them live a long satisfying life as much as possible. Tengen would be fine on their own.
So, Satoru Gojo and Riko Amanai became Satoru Misato and Riko Misato. They live an ordinary life together with their Aunt Kuroi Misato. They are students by day and exorcists (with a legion of chaperones/guards) at night. They are living up the superhero vigilante life.
Then a Meet Cute happens between Riko and Yu one mission gone wrong. Nanami gets slapped in the face. Then it is hate at first sight between Satoru and Suguru because they stole each other's first kiss Naruto style.

MAKI AND Y/N ARE SO SATOSUGU CODED y/n is 💯 % gojo in that sense, especially with the use of a blindfold in the fight against todo. Friendship so good that atp I feel like the higher ups would be more surprised that y/n and maki ARENT dating if they find out about yuta. One of them would deffinetly call the other their "one and only" (maybe for symbolism sake itd be y/n) and if gojo were to overhear that convo I feel like he wouldn't be able to stop himself from crying.
RIGHT THEY LITERALLY ARE 😭😭😭 yes her and gojo are similar and not just even with the blindfold…they’re both “pinnacles” of sorcery in a sense but they both also try to reject the roles assigned to them in favor of being who they want to be. At the same time, however, they’re not able to ever fully escape from who they are (ex gojo being the strongest and Y/N reviving yuta) and whether they like it or not the roles they have been assigned are key parts of their personalities and who they are.
HAHAHAA when the higher ups find out abt yuta and Y/N they’re not mad that she’s cheating on noritoshi they’re mad that she ruined their wlw otp 😭😔
Okay if we’re going straight symbolism then Y/N would say it but tbh I feel like if either of them were to say something like that it would be maki. Although at the same time Y/N DID say the only things of her own in her life are her needles and her friendship with maki so I guess in a way she already HAS basically called maki her one and only…good thing gojo wasn’t there for that conversation he’d probably get flashbacks

The Culling Game - N°19.
Finally, in chapter 143, we get a sort of insight in what are the goals, or at least the long term aspiration of Kamo Noritoshi aka Getwo. Given my lack of English vocabulary I had never heard the word ‘culling’ used in such a context, which brought me to make a research into it. Well, the definition goes that ‘culling’ means literally ‘selective slaughtering’ of a certain part/type of a species - which aligns with his previous statements of ‘modifying human brain’ to adapt to sorcery, as vessels and/or people possessing innate technique. A new Dark Era, a new Heian Era, as in his words.
Tumblr media
In particular, ‘to cull is to remove an animal, especially a sick or weak one, from a herd or flock. It is a reduction of the numbers of an animal population achieved by selectively killing some of its members’.
Tumblr media
So, usually the goal of culling is to reduce the population and this brings us to two questions: why exactly does Getwo obtain from dwindling down the population of sorcerers (that are already such a few) and why does he have to do it in a such a restraint time of 19 days? Of course, these are question that popped into my mind because I think that these are two of the aspects that could light to what is happening at the moment, and how does it involve Tsumiki, Yuki and the sealing of Gojo - but it may as well be that I’m asking the wrong questions.
Tumblr media
My best bet is definitely the sealing of Gojo: as this process might be definitely made in order to weed out the ‘weakest’ links of society in order to rebuild it in such a way that fits Getwo standards, Gojo cannot be around for two reasons. He is way too strong, which means that he would defeat everyone in this game or on the contrary, he would try to save everyone - and neither fits Getwo’s plans.
However, this brings me to the considerations which I wanted to type out. Having a look at the rules of the Game, I noticed that the number 19 is mentioned twice, and has sort of a grave relevance. And since, nothing (and when I say nothing, I mean literally nothing) is left to chance in JJK, I asked myself why. Why does the specific number 19 appear, not once but twice in such a singular and fundamental set of panels, shaping the entire arc to come?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, I might have found a partial answer.
See, number 19 is quite particular and has, not surprisingly, a sort of dark story. First of all, Eclipses of the Sun occur once in 19 years. And second, according to the Babylonians the number 19 is unlucky, and it was a great day to portent evil (or good).
As for the Eclipse of the Sun, it is funny to note that this occurs when three celestial corps align, and in particular when the Moon aligns in between the Sun and the Earth. As Japan would be the cursed energy monopolistic country, which would cause great distress for the world and especially the East - it might assume a dark parallel: and the Sun (Japan) being obscured by the Moon (in this case cursed energy) from a perspective of Earth (the other countries). Of course, it has definitely ties with the fact that Sukuna has awakened and found a suitable vessel (which also, as we saw, triggered the response and the awakening of other curses, as the one who killed those who attended the same bridge as Tsumiki during the night). This eclipse might also be the only way to allow this ‘Evil’, or culling to take proper form and to actually cloud people’s judgement. This might be a meaning for Eclipse: when people’s minds gets clouded by their technique and the overflowing of cursed energy, and by then they are obliged to act on it.
On the other hand, the number 19 means also awakening, enlightenment and inspiration. It is the completion of a cycle, beginning and end and the discovery of a new one to open your potential and enter a new stage and evolution of humanity. This meaning, fits to a T the explanation that Getwo gives, as confusing as it is, to the motivations why he has released the seals and why he reformed the brain of people in order to see and fight curses. He wants humanity to refine this stage of stagnation and to be beyond the current situation. However, he also wants to select the few strong people who are actually worth something to bet on. And this brings us to the same question: why? What is the point of doing this and why exactly does this game entail? Does Getwo want War? Supremacy? A new human race which dominates cursed energy?
Furthermore, as the number 19 stands for the ending of a cycle, and the beginning of a new one (the beginning of Heian, again) - it also stands to serve humanity in every possible way. Number 19 brings independence - which might be the independence from jujutsu sorcerers and society (as everyone who has been marked now has the opportunity to actually see and fight curses) and at the same time independence from the cursed energy. Indeed, people would need to discard their safe life, in order to gain these independence and embrace instead their newfound and original state.
This number, biblically, means ‘perfection’ and a ‘perfect order’. Does that ring any bell?
Tumblr media
On a final, funny note, the Tarot Card number 19, is the one of the Sun.
