you both are the quiet couple out of your friend group, nobara and yuji do all the talking while megs and you stay clear of their path of chaos and meaningless fight. much rather sharing earphones, and quick glances with meanings only the two of you understand. it’s kinda creepy for anyone that catches it, how easily you can communicate and understand the other with just the eyes.

it takes a couple of weeks of dating for you two to go back to the hanging out with your friends, and somehow along the talk, something nobara said picked your interest. megumi groaned when he realized you would start talking and he would be “left alone” (he is such a drama queen). you talk really fast, and if any of the others don’t understand, you stare and him and he will translate easily.

sometimes, for some unknown reason, you do this thing of avoiding everyone, and megumi although always a sweetheart respecting you and your space, does not like that. he knows it comes from a type of insecurity, and as your boyfriend of years, it’s his job to be there for you. so he always knocks on your apartment, a basket with empty canvas, paint and self care products is gifted to you. with masks on both of yours face, your favorite playlist and tint on your hands, you have a calm date being spoiled by him.

megumi as a boyfriend is the type to be calm and gentle, he values your happiness and individuality more than anything, so therefore there is no wrong doing you might do in his eyes. he thinks you are perfect as yourself but together, you are his second half. wherever you are, he goes.

there's several czech pun names, including berry's middle name. berry b addison... they don't like sharing their whole middle name.

blank's voiceclaim is bo burnham, and i realized the two accidentally had similarities, so i purposefully added some quirks to blank to make him a bit more like bo as an inspiration.

tired swatchling is based on a roblox voicechat roleplay with my friends - i played as a... well. tired swatchling who's number one thing is hating rouxls kaard.

yes, blank does have rats in his hair. the cursorats! my own species i made !they're the rats to maice's...mice. they're based on gamer rgb glowing mice. the names of his pet cursorats are, pantaloonie, remy, the one (and only) and spaghetti

maddison is heavily and i mean heavily based on my personality, if you added a bit of jerma. he is a canonical twitch streamer

blank and berry are also based on me, but also my best friend and our dynamic we had/have growing up! we've known each other since we were like..3 years old. we go way back and have seen each other in different stages of life like this, and certain periods just... inspired these two characters. and just. me. blank is a representation of me with people i trust, and being heavily indulgent in the things i like... berry is the quiet me around people i don't trust, and the character who struggles with a lot of the same social struggles i have as a neurodivergent person. all of these characters are a bit nd i can not write normal characters. sorry.

tired swatchling's and mocha's parents are two swatchling moms, chroma and aroma! i need to redesign aroma a bit, and make "modern" designs for them, since their current designs are them while younger!! these ladies have aged a little bit since - despite darkners lack of aging visibly after they become full grown adults.

spectre's name is not pronounced like specter! it's pronounced like spec-tray. they were my first swatchling oc, too, and for self indulgence they feature a spade on the back of their suit - considering that's my symbol i've adopted for several reasons, deltarune being one of them. we go way back.

swatchlings have uv light vision!! they also have uv light markings only other swatchlings can see!! they have a event/holiday where they paint on their bodies where their invisible markings are to celebrate their differences! literally! each swatchling has a totally unique marking, that is not determined by anything! it's generated randomly upon hatching. (grows in like a day or two after hatching.) this is how swatchlings differentiate each other even if they may otherwise look the same! they also all like being unique, using make up and cool hair styles and outfits... a luxury working specific datapack swatchlings may not have - so they got these markings, since nobody else can see 'em!

clambert has a pet tasque named perci. she has a complicated, long name but i keep forgetting it. and i keep forgetting to save it. im not asking my friend to remind me agian currently it is lost in like a year worth of instagram dm scrolling and i dont even go there anymore.

blank's design is inspired by ena!

hash was originally just a named background character... that appeared in a little thing i wrote. just like, an possible dpau intro? it made sense for me to use a regular visitor character, and i gave them a name... but my friends loved them a lot so... hash is an oc now! they are also inspired by almond cookie. they are a maskless swatchling, too

also, my other maskless swatchling oc, tag, was a concept for a loong time before i finished her design. i was stuck on the name.. but... tag was an obvious choice. since yknow. hash. tag. lmao

brodi adobi and his company is based on adobe, obviously. his design is inspired by portal colors, and his voice claim is jave johnson. he hates lemons. also, he knows almost nothing about art, he just sells art supply shit. he goes on a lot of talk shows.

malina is an lightner oc, that i have had since before deltarune chapter 2. hell, she was actually an undertale oc first, made around 2020, as i have realized i never had a proper undertale oc.... i really like nicecream guy, so i made him a sister character! i then decided to make her a deltarune character with chapter 2, as she now fit in there way better! she has her own story- HOWEVER. The story of the main cast is... very seperated from the main story of DPAU. She follows just the main cast, but she does exist in DPAU and my headcanons to her story apply! she's best friends with sweet cap'n cakes! and scratch. because why wouldn't i put my self insert there

oh yeah, scratch is my deltarune sona and basically self insert!! they are the fourth member of sweet cap'n cakes. they are based on a soundboard and a karaoke machine! they were also inspired by napster and hatsune miku, and gamer headphones with cat ears. they are also very self indulgent with my color choices. they're me, but a silly music robot who makes ytps on the spot, and is just silly goofy 24/7 without the problems real me has

i did write a short chapter thingy with malina!! i have like... entire scenes thought out for her how she follows along with the gang in the main game. this... slipped out of my head mostly, id have to read my old notes. she also has a snowgrave route!! and that also splits into like.. 2 "endings" and both are! not good! so no arms ?

malina is also a florist! and unlike me she enjoys doing it! i regret my school choice and this is a random cry for help! she helps out asgore at his store. also, some of the experiences she talks about kris with, and some little experiences i have made up for them, kris, and noelle and their whole lil' gang while they were kids are based on some stuff i did as a kid myself

snooper isn't an important character in dpau, he just exists there, but i love this beast. his hair is the twitter logo, he says l+ratio unironically, and his speech pattern is inspired by quagsire in from PMD. he has his own page on my website! not just that, but a whole mystery fun hunt! if you go there you can even get his petz mod of himself :D

blank also has corrupted speech, similar to spamton. just.. more fucke.d no advertising, just fucked. imagine a walking glitchy ytp. been compared to withered chica's voice. he can also make static noises and his voice can change tones as well. he also quotes movies and past experiences which will sound exactly the same as they did before. he's like a fucked up radio. his speech is very annoying to write at times, but here's some old examples back before i gave up on adding all the effects and jumbles while rping. msot of the time he is like... audible just glitchy. when extremely emotional his voice breaks more. Answering these cause I'm bored and felt like it 😂. It's all going in one post so after question 5 I'll put in read more.

1. Depends, if I'm writing on the the way to work or uni then I'm definitely listening to either Taylor Swift or K-pop literally got a playlist titled that 😂. If I'm at home and the idea has come I'm most likely not listening to anything 😂.

2. Nope. Very much Not Beta Read We Die Like Men. Probably why when I read back on various screenshots I see typos 😂.

3. Second person cause I write reader inserts 😂. In general as a reader I prefer third person or second person. Sorry I don't know what it is abt first person pov fics that I just can't stand them.

4. Man I barely know what tenses I write in and I'm getting a degree in English to go on and be an English teacher 😭🤷🏽‍♀️.

5. Eh, the one written fic Ive got Invisible is 32k and I thought it was gonna be short and sweet but that never happened. I guess novel length cause practically all of my smaus are over 10 chapters 😂. I haven't gotten to 40 chapters yet but knowing me it's a goal to have a smau be 40 chapters 😂😂.

6. Multi chapters. There's a reason I've only got like 3 one shots 😂. Most of my ideas end up becoming smaus that I couldn't contain in a one shot 😂.

7. I do enjoy a rarepair. Some of the rarepair fics that I've read are insanely amazing and I guess my thing is the lack of fics for a rarepair but that's the whole point isn't it 😂.

8. I'd like to think that in my True Beauty fanfic everyone was in character but since I mainly wrote K-pop smaus I guess I write the various idols as wildly out of character in terms of how they truly are compared to the stupidity in my fics.

9. I've got too many tropes/cliches that I love. So I'll name a few. Fake Dating has always been a fave. Arranged marriage is a fun one 😂. Sunshine/grumpy pair I love writing. Bad boy/good girl is a classic. Love a good screaming at each other then they kiss moment 😂.

16. Write by the seat of my pants. I've generally got a rough idea of where I want the story to go and then it's chapter by chapter 😂. I can't plan fics or essays to save my life.

17. Invisible I didn't but I'm planning on going back and giving the chapters titles cause I think chapters titles are just fun and they help give me an idea of what I wanna do in that chapter 😂.

19. Knowing that people like what I put out. The whole concept of people liking the stuff I write doesn't make sense to me. I'd like to think I'm better at accepting praise for my writing but I think there will always be that insecurity and doubt about whether my stories are worth the praise and love they get. Another thing is, I have people who reblog and I'm grateful but I wish they'd reblog with a comment or reply to the chapter or something that lets me know what they thought. Just a reblog while great and I'm thankful for doesn't tell me what you thought and thats what I'd like to know.

just want to say this for the record, i am not switching up or anything, im just trying to expand my work more on here.. so i will be writing lots of other types of content, and abt a plethora of ppl. i think once i grow this account more i’ll eventually start taking suggestions for different things to write and giving myself even more challenges, but for rn i know i definitely just dont have the following for that, and i know that part of that is the fact that i am extremelyyyy inconsistent with my posts. so im also sorry for that, and sorry for making yall wait so long for harbor. as well, speaking of harbor, i still have barely even started it…i know, im insane. i said i’d get it out sooner after garden but i just dont have enough ideas in my brain for that one right now so its kinda on a pause i guess until further notice. however, i am working on another new full length multi part fic !!! its called ‘between towns’ (that might change tho ?? but im not 100% sure) and ive pulled lots of inspiration for it from the themes of ethel cains music, as well as some other artists, psychological thriller horror movies, both midwestern and southern gothic, atlantic cities, teenage dirtbag vibes (+ and more). im using an oc again, and its involving the sturniolo triplets !! ive already been working on it in all aspects (spotify playlist, pin board and actually writing). i will hopefullyyyyy have the first chapter out soon, but again its me so honestly whose to say rlly. anywayss, just wanted to update yall on where im at😸 i hope youre all doing good !! 💟💐

I was real purposeful w this one. for starters im a little biased towards ultra cus it was the first album i listened thru all the way cus i found the cd at goodwill in like. ? August ? September maybe and i was like well why not ive been meaning to listen to pesh mode. That and its just a really good album. It took me a couple listens to really get Into it but its definitely my #1 fave now..call that my..ultra fave..lawl..

so i dont rlly follow SMPEarth bc im so invested in the dsmp that i just. dont have much drive to watch the SMPEarth playlist. the only video i've watched is the charlie invading france through belgium video (and thats bc charlie's my favorite cc so i cant jyst not watch it lmao). so this isnt rlly an SMPEarth thing, but its kinda got the vibe of one ig? like its a kingdom au kinda deal.

so im big on world-building, and since i dont want to make a 25 page ask abt this world, heres the basic rundown (btw these r all c!dsmp members, im just bad at continuously putting c! in front of their names)

there are a couple kingdoms run by some of the rulers of the dsmp. george runs the kinoko kingdom, and l'manburg (founded by the demi-god of music [ex-demi god of chaos] wilbur and once ruled by king eret) is currently run by schlatt. the arctic is not a specified kingdom, but the domain is widely-known to be the stomping grounds of blood/war god techno and death god philza. dream is kind of a zeus-like god in that he's pt much THE god on the block but all the other gods kinda fuckin hate him. theres also the nether prince sapnap, but he's just a mortal that the gods were like "yeah. hes alright. give him a few more centuries of life. he's cool."

other noteable figures in this world are tommy (demi-god of fun and mischief), tubbo (his mortal best friend who seems to keep him out of trouble), ranboo (a kid who popped up from seemingly nowhere and for some reason has shifty eyes and a hidden connection to a certain god), and karl (another guy who seemingly popped up outta nowhere, but he's dressed in weird clothes and is not familiar with the customs of the times)

the reader can be like literally anything, but for the sake of me always imagining them as an isekai'd modern-day 9 to 5er, that's what they'll be.

they (along with karl, who spawned into this world with them) go around trying to find clues of how to get home. their new friend karl seems to recognize practically everyone they talk to, but (y/n) just doesnt know anyone, so its kinda hard. however, they get along really well with this band of mischievious pranksters (tommy, tubbo, ranboo)!

eventually (y/n) and karl split off, karl saying he needs to look for a black-haired butcher and a prince from hell. (y/n) doesnt want to be a burden, so they end up explaining their situation to their newfound friend trio, and wouldnt you know it, the leader of the bunch has some VERY high-up connections in this world.

I have kind of a pear shaped body (so small 🍒 but bigger 🍑 and thicc thighs) that I’m a bit insecure abt cus it’s a tiny bit on the chubbier side.

jules  belongs  to  the  sin  of  #pride  through  &  through  .   after  all  ,   if  there  was  one  damning  trait  to  send  her  straight  into  the  pits  of  burning  infernos  ,  her  prideful  sense  of  self  would  be  it  .   that’s  not  to  say  she’s  arrogant  (  nor  am  i  saying  she  isn’t  )  ,  but  it’s  more  that  she  can’t  take  being  undermined  or  allow  the  supposed  undermining  to  go  unpunished  .   she  has  a  great  deal  of  #pride  in  her  own  self  worth  &  capabilities  ,  though  she’s  usually  loathe  to  make  it  known  in  plain  terms  ,  &  if  she  feels  attacked  in  that  manner  ,  she’ll  completely  close  up  .   this  often  ,  as  you’ll  surely  be  able  to  tell  ,   beckons  problematic  shit  .

 what  got  them  sent  to  the  academy  ?

      during  jules’  senior  year  at  nyu  ,  she  was  contacted  by  her  agent  (  shared  with  her  father  )  &  offered  an  audition  for  a  leading  role  in  a  major  hollywood  studio  film  .   throughout  the  years  ,  she  dabbled  in  theater  &  attracted  a  starring  role  or  two  along  the  way  ,  especially  in  school  productions  ,   but  the  plan  for  success  was  always  envisioned  after  college  .   when  she  got  the  call  ,  however  ,  she  handled  it  with  a  happy - go - lucky  fuck  it  sort  of  approach  ,  &  a  week  later  ,  when  she  received  the  good - bearing  call  ,  there  was  no  backing  out  ,  or  so  she  thought  .   tentatively  dropping  out  of  the  semester  in  which  she  would  graduate  ,  jules  modeled  the  next  few  months  of  her  life  around  the  film  ,  happily  doing  so  .   

      yet  ,  the  first  week  into  rehearsals  brought  down  a  cloud  so  dark  she  thought  she’d  choke  under  it  .   she  overheard  a  few  producers  on  their  lunch  break  ,  talking  about  this - & - that - esque  bullshit  ,  but  just  as  she  was  passing  ,  one  of  them  made  a  comment  about  the  peralta  girl  ,  &  how  hollywood  legacies  are  the  roaches  of  the  industry  .   how  directors  from  the  middle  ages  should  just  stick  to  ruining  things  behind  the  camera  ,  not  forcing  a  disaster  in  front  of  it  .   

      that  day  ,  jules  walked  out  of  set  &  never  took  a  step  back  in  .   effectively  ruining  her  future  career  in  the  process  ,  she  ghosted  all  contact  from  the  production  &  even  went  as  far  to  jet  off  to  brazil  to  regenerate  with  her  mom  as  an  escape  .   she  couldn’t  even  pick  up  where  she  left  off  during  the  semester  ,  &  simply  had  to  sit  back  &  witness  her  classmates  of  four  years  graduate  without  her  .   her  parents  were  furious  ,  but  the  only  thing  she  gave  in  return  was  a  steely  silence  ,  refusing  even  turn  a  glare  to  her  father  .   now  ,  she’s  been  shoved  into  the  hands  of  the  academy  ,  biding  the  days  until  she  could  return  to  nyu  in  the  fall  .  

what  do  you  think  they’ll  struggle  with  the  most  at  the  academy ?

tbh  ,  the  biggest  issue  for  jules  is  the  resentment  curling  at  her  core  .   at  her  father  ,  the  film  ,  the  academy  ,  herself  .   right  now  she’s  just  in  a  foul  mood  &  sick  at  being  forced  into  glitterati  rehab  ,  but  her  #pride  won’t  allow  her  to  fail  ,  even  if  she  wishes  to  do  it  just  to  spite  everyone  .   she  is  a  people  person  ,  however  ,  &  will almost  definitely  warm  up  ,  even  if  it’s  just  for  appearances  sake  .
