Robert's girlfriend had been singing the same song on repeat for almost three weeks, talking about and comparing the things that happened in their daily routine with the movie she went to see with her friends one Friday night.

The business man wasn't bothered by this, he found it very amusing... especially because Y/n was so cute when she did it.

She had a secret pass that allowed her to do everything with him, being always forgiven because of how adorable she was.

It was always like that, since they started dating.

The song had almost become their song, it echoed softly in Robert's head when he least expected it... even during work meetings.

And it all kept bringing him back to the cute image of his girlfriend dancing around the house in her pink dresses, little bows adorning her hair and beautiful smile plastered on her pretty face.

She was so cute and devoted to that movie that it was a must for him to watch it as well so that he could understand better what she kept rambling about with big adoring eyes and her tiny pout decorated by lip glosses.

Just a couple of days after Robert managed to watch the movie Y/n was so smitten of, an idea crossed his mind.

It was since months now that he wanted to says the scary three words that people say when they are in a relationship and just feel those awesome but worrying butterflies in the stomach.

He just needed to find the right moment.. and what better moment than one created for her... based on the film.

That was Robert’s plan and the main reason he was waiting at the port, checking his watch while waiting for Y/n. After they had a lovely evening, ate dinner at a delicious restaurant and just spent time together before going for a walk and end the night with a romantic ride on a yacht with the moon in the sky smiling at them.

The date was just going perfectly, Robert couldn’t stop watching Y/n who was now standing at the bow... a soft smile on her face as the soft wind caressed her skin, moving her baby pink dress in a dreamlike way.

Her hair were moving slowly as well, making it seem like she just walked out of a perfume advertising even though Y/n was secretly trying not to gag because of her hair going anywhere they wanted.

She slowly turned around to see where her Robert was, a bright smile on her face so big that would have melted anyone... the australian man as well since his stomach was already filled with butterflies and his legs felt like jelly... Weak enough to make him loose balance and fall in the water of the sea.

As the water surrounded his body, the rational part of him woke up again... thoughts of how stupid the plan was crossed his mind but quickly left as soon as he felt two hands grab him and bring him back to surface.

His baby blue eyes met Y/n's as soon as he could open them and a shock of pure love hit his whole body.

She really just jumped off the yachts to "save" him.. ruining her pretty dress and makeup for him.

Robert was too stunned and dazed to realize what she was doing, coming back to reality just when she made sure he was on the floating buoy before climbing on it as well.

Her face was flushed and her look of worry was quite evident.. her whole state was noticeable and Robert was feeling a bit guilty for what he did.. hoping silently that it was worth it.

"Oh my god, baby. Are you okay?" Y/n asked quickly, fixing his hair before stroking his wet, cold cheeks in an attempt to calm herself and him.

Her mouth opened again to ask him another question after he just stared at her, not answering her question; but before she could do that the man opted for leaning in and kiss her.

Their lips molding together perfectly, fitting like the last pieces of a puzzle, till the rescue helicopter approached, warning them before throwing the harnesses.

As they both put them on and jumped off the buoy, their body pressed together, her arms went quickly around his neck as his hands grabbed her hips tightly and protectively.

The robe kept being pulled up while they hang on the water, an amazing and romantic view surrounding them... not that they could really see it since Y/n was holding her eyes tightly close, adrenaline and anxiety filling her body, while Robert could just stare at her with love.

That's when he took a deep breath and started to sing the song just like in the movie, his eyes never leaving her face.

His singing skills weren't so good but the pure shock and surprise that appeared on Y/n's face was enough to smooth his nervousness a bit so that he could continue to sing the song while waiting for her to join.

Their soft laughters interrupted the lyrics, their noses kept brushing softly against each other as they both kept giggling till they died down.

Robert's forehead pressed softly against hers as he fixed her pink wet bow before meeting her eyes again... his hand traveling slowly down on her cheek, his thumb caressing her cold skin in a tender way in an attempt to gather the courage to finally speak.

"Y/n..." He started, brushing his finger against her bottom lip softly while he stared directly in her loving eyes

"I.. I love you".

omg inspiration for film is a greaaatttt question!!! i kinda want to explore that in main storyline now!!! i think when she was younger, she was a bit more of a quiet kid and was always the english teachers’ fave student bc she was really emotionally intelligent n had great vocabulary and in general a great eye for art n literature, so that academic praise kinda got her into writing stories n watching films, she studied a lot of old hollywood classics n from there she became really interested in film as a whole. i think it became a form of expression for her, since she had kind of a whacky childhood (will uncover more of this in later chaps) i like to think before she applied to college, she wanted to be an english major n become an english teacher but she knew deep down that film was what she really wanted to do and even though her family was reluctant, she went ahead n applied as a film major anyway (btw utokyo is hard to get into for film bc they only have a few spots for their program which is one of the best in the nation so i think she did well for herself :) it’s also why she wants to get into utokyo’s film masters specifically!!)

Camp Nano (& Health) Update!!

HEY HI HELLO !!! So my headache is low for the first time in 2 weeks so I can actually advance stuff + my coughing got a bit better!! Still sick with covid but I'm capable of working AND focusing which is good!! I have no taste, no smell and I haven't had a coffee in like 6 days (which is a big deal cause I take 6/7 per day SO LMAO) but it's okay, tea is my bestfriend, same for sparkling water. I'm less active in the Fox' Den and everywhere basically (sorry I was trying to survive XD) but I'm planning on being more active now that I'm feeling better. 📝 For Camp Nano, I have the draft for "Of Dusk and Dawn" (Fantasy Romance with Slow-Burn) which is good but sadly it's not the Nano 50k goal (my draft with plotlines and all are 15k, this is not the "story", just the basic plots, subplots, characters and more) and it's not like I can modify it since this is basically like already "locked in" on their website? I also started this paranormal thriller, dark academia ghost story with slow-burn and romance, cold case, enemies to lovers and I'm LOVING the spooky vibes so far! I just need to get into the mood tho to write it cause I'm the one who giggles when the lights start to flicker and I hum "Shake Shake Senora" to calm myself down in Halloween Haunted Houses so- 🤣😭🤣😭🤣

“Where are you going?” Minho catches them getting ready, it’s not like their friends are over nor was he informed they’d be even going out, so what could they possibly go to for them to dress up on a breezy friday night. Doongie, Soonie and Dori are crowding at his feet waiting for attention as he watches his little sibling smile at their phone standing in front of the body sized mirror in their room. “None of your business, Minho.”

“Do whatever you want~ but don’t expect me to pick you up past 9..” and he wouldn’t tell anyone, but he was definitely a nosy one, sitting in his room Soonie curled into a ball, Minho sat and tried to think of every possibility of why Yn was getting all ready.

And then it clicked. His little sibling was gonna go on a date! But with who? Definitely not his Chan Hyung, though they’ve met, not once have they interacted so that wasn’t possible, Changbin was far too busy in the gym. It could be anyone really, but he prays to the lords above – even if he’s an atheist – it is anyone but Kim Seungmin.

and the familiar ding of their door rang, hopefully it was their parents so he could bust them. Minho takes prideful strides towards the front door of their home, he is welcomed to a tall slim boy with his hair neatly styled into a middle part. “What do you want, Kim Seungmin?” ready to shut the door on his face, Yn is quick to appear at his side. “I hope I didn’t keep you waiting..” they seemed nervous, and that’s all it took for Minho’s brain to malfunction, he froze.

His once confident smirk seemed to shatter.

“I’ll be home before midnight!” the cheery voice of his sibling snapped him out of his trance. “Yah Kim Seungmin, come back here with my sibling!”

“don’t worry about my brother, he could.. be capable of murder but he is completely harmless.” pecking their boyfriend's cheek. “I don’t think he likes me”

“Just give him some time, babe. He’s like a cat, you know, it takes some time for him to warm up to you!” rubbing his hand reassuringly while his other wraps on the steering wheel.

little did the cute couple know, Yn’s older brother was right on their tails. Putting on a very decent outfit for wherever the two were going, he grabbed his car keys, he’d made sure the cats were well off on their own before going into his car and following the two.

Seungmin and Yn had entered a nearby restaurant with few people, ordering some buk chang dong sundubu and a set of ribs.

“You look really pretty today..” Seungmin smiles softly, a light glow of the light adorning his features; pink spreading throughout his cheeks as he tries to hide behind his palms.

Grabbing his hands and intertwining their fingers together, Yn smiles back at their boyfriend “You look handsome today too.” They smile softly, staring lovingly at him.

They mirrored each other's lovesick expressions, and if anyone were to see them they’d think ‘oh what a lovely couple.’, but definitely not Minho, he stared intently at Seungmin, and he did eventually accept him dating his sibling, but he couldn’t do that without a big scary talk. He hid behind the menu instead of scanning it, the waitress waiting for him.

It felt like yesterday when he had scared them with the grasshopper he’d found in the garden, giggling menacingly at Yn’s small form scurrying towards his mother. Now he reminisces the memories of growing up with them, and this was only part of it. When did they become old enough to softly kiss Seungmin in public with little fear of others watching them? He’d frown a little ‘they’re all grown up..’

“I hope I’m not being rude, but are you still going to order, Sir? We wish to avoid any disturbances.” The waitress snaps him out of his inner monologue, his eyes move away from the couple momentarily forgetting the speech he was preparing. “Ah yes sorry, I’ll just have jjajangmyeon.” he smiles in embarrassment before handing the menu back to the waitress with a quick bow.

and the night went by quickly, the mere thought of murdering Kim Seungmin rarely passed his mind, infact he was more happy for the two but no one had to know about that, he still had the speech in his mind all ready for the time Yn decides to bring Seungmin over. He had left the restaurant with a full stomach and a happy mood.

The couple on the other hand left the restaurant not too long after Minho, opting to go to a park before calling it a night.

“Why don’t you want to sit on the grass?” Seungmin draped his hand over his lover’s shoulders, pressing a kiss on their temple, keeping his head on theirs. “Minho threw a grasshopper at me when we were kids and I never trusted grass ever since..” They both sat comfortably on a bench, giggling at one another, both because of the flashback.

“Do you see the star that shines the brightest?” Seungmin points out, his lover hums in return “that star reminds me of you because no matter how dull the world can be, you always seem to shine no matter what. Always standing out the best way you can and that’s why I love you.” He stares into Yn’s eyes as they crinkle into crescents, not being able to hold back the large smile on their face, cheeks burning red. Seungmin finds their reaction adorable, going to kiss them “Could you say that again?”

“Were you not listening?” he frowns a little, the sight tugs at Yn’s heart “No I was, I just like hearing your voice.” and now it was Seungmin’s turn to fluster, his puppy eyes closed trying to hide into their shoulder. “Ah stop it~” he whines, his lover chuckles at him “C’mon let's go home, I don’t want Minho coming at your neck because we were a minute late to 12” hand in hand the entire drive back to Yn’s home, stupidly in love smiles plastered on their faces.

“Thank you for tonight, honey.” Yn kisses Seungmin’s lips, smiling into the kiss.

They wave goodbye as Yn enters their home. Going into their room to get unready, still completely pink from what happened. “How was your date with Kim?” Minho leaned on the door frame, a knowing smirk on his face.

“I know you were at the restaurant, Minho.”

Thyme x Gorya Short Fic

I’m sick of the lack of Thyme Gorya fanfiction so I did a thing 😭 so sorry for any grammar/spelling errors

Just an FYI- Her brother was crashing in the living room, binging anything and everything he could find since it was a Friday night.

“What are you thinking about?” She questioned softly, rolling over in bed and switching the phone to rest on her right ear.

It was the same phone he pressed into her hands earlier today, his expression both defiant and pleading at her initial refusal to accept it.

He had yet to answer her question.

“Thyme?” Her heart seemed to react on its own, fluttering at his whispered name in the darkness of her room.

“You,” he rasped. His voice was raw, like his mind hadn’t fully decided to answer her before his lips formed the confession.

Something warm and unfamiliar spread through her stomach and the flutters in her heart took flight.

“What-what about me?”

“You like Ren.”

It wasn’t a question and it filled her with anxiety.

Why would he say that? Why in this moment? Why in that voice? Was he trying to say he’d step back?

She didn’t-

Damnit.

She didn’t know what she felt for Ren anymore, but he never gave her this dizzying, frustrating, vibrant feeling that pulsed through her when she was with Thyme.

“Thy-“

“You like Ren,” he interrupted, “but I can’t be the bigger person here Gorya, at least not yet.” He exhaled a shaky breath and continued.

“I want to be a better person. For you, for me, for everyone I care about. You make me need to be better. Someone you would be proud to have standing by your side. I’ve been selfish my entire life and I don’t want to be that way anymore. I’ll do everything in my power to be selfless in everything that I do. But,” she closed her eyes when he paused, “but not with this. Not with you. I don’t know if that makes me a terrible person or a terrible friend, but I won’t give you up. Not to him or anyone else. This is the only thing I can’t be selfless with. Because if being the bigger person means losing you, then I can’t be that person.”

Her breathing was erratic, unable to control itself in the face of his honesty.

“Thyme,” his name was almost a plea. The anxiety that filled her earlier was replaced with a frantic need to see him, to feel his hands engulf hers.

Or maybe she needed to hit him. For giving her emotional whiplash, for being an idiot, for making her fall deeper into this big, scary, unknown feeling that’s threatening to change her life to it’s very core.

She wasn’t sure why she needed to see him, all she knew was that she just wanted to be with him in this moment.

“Hmmm?” He hummed.

“I hate you,” she sniffed, “I hate you so so much.”

He chuckled softly. “I kno-“

“Don’t,” it was her turn to interrupt, “don’t give me up. I need you to keep being selfish with this. Please.”

Her confession shocked them then both- what it implied, the weight it carried- and the lingering silence grew heavy.

“Thyme?”

“I’m coming to see you,” His abrupt response was followed by the sounds of movement and rustling clothes.

“What?” She scrambled to sit upright, her heart pounding in excitement and fear, “now? You can’t!” Her whispered yell still seemed too loud for her quiet, sleeping home.

“I’m already out the house.”

“Thyme, you idiot, go back inside.”

He didn’t respond but she heard the distinct sound of a car door slamming

“Thyme I swear to god if you show up here I will murder you!”

That was how the midnight moon remembered them, childish and bickering.....and already so in love, though neither seemed to realize it yet.

Well when you sent me the ask, and I got another ask about it, i started thinking about it more and that gave me the encouragement to finish it!

I actually watched Midsommar (oof) because wanted the reader to have some niche type of interest.... even though I had a scary time watching it and didn't sleep the entire night 😂

And then I was thinking that cottagecore was a pretty theme and everyone loves cottagecore 😅 and Billy would want to showcase the reader as best as he can because his goal is to make her see her own self worth not to actively win her back.

Honestly, before this ask... I was looking at how little interaction it got and I was thinking of stopping 😅 but I'm glad you like it! Almost makes it worth it.

A/n: hi……*hides behind chair* so sorry for disappearing for the past week. I got caught up in preparing for school and things. I’m back though, and I’ll be posting daily again, answering requests as best I can! Sorry if this was a bit shorter than normal, it was kind of hard getting my inspo back. :)

It was late one Friday afternoon when Shinsou had decided to pick you up and grab takeout. You two had discussed just going to his dorm or your’s and eating there. However, you proposed maybe something more outdoor friendly, and he surprisingly agreed.

It was fall, so the air was a bit chilly, but nothing too extreme. In fact, it actually felt better outside. A nice contrast from summer. Since it was late evening, you two chose the park because you both knew it wouldn’t be crowded.

You both didn’t talk much on the way there, just let the radio play and watch as trees and houses go by. Eventually arriving to your destination.

You guys found a spot with nice soft grass and not many trees or lights around so you could see the stars.

Laying out the blanket for your picnic was a bit of a challenge on your own, the wind kept blowing it every which way and you were starting to get frustrated. Shinsou came back with the takeout that had been left in the car and saw you struggling.

“Does someone need help?” He asked, laughing a little as he sat the takeout bag on the ground to come and help you.

“I swear the blanket is against me.” You mumbled, aggravation in your voice

“Oh, look at that, the blankets fine now.” He said, pointing to the blanket laid perfectly flat against the ground.

“It likes you.” You stated, sitting down and grabbing your food out of the bag.

“Hm,I see you and the blanket have something in common.” He proposed

You snorted “I guess we do.”

You two sat and talked about your days. The good parts, the bad parts. Then, the conversation moved to just more general things. What tv shows you had been watching, if he had seen any good movies, if you both had done anything interesting lately. 

You and Shinsou finished your food, and the away your trash in a nearby trash can. Going back to your blanket, you two just layer down and stared up at the stars. Continuing your conversation on different song lyrics.

“Do you have a favorite lyrics from one of their songs?” You asked him.

“Coldplay?” He replied

“Yeah, Coldplay.” You said

“I do.” He responded

“What might that be.” You questioned, turning your head to look at him, finding that we was already staring at you. His hair blew slightly in the soft night breeze. You looked into his violet eyes, which seemed to contain a little bit of magic in them. Oh, how beautiful they where.

“And what may that be?” You inquired, a small smile coming onto your face.

He look at you with such caring eyes, as if you were the only thing in the world that mattered to him at this moment. Which, was true, for Shinsou, all he cared about in this moment, was you.

His wonderful, loving, and supportive significant other. Who was always there for him, who never told him he was scary or made to be a villain. Who believed in him when he didn’t even believe in himself. You where like his light in the dark, almost like a star.

“Look at the stars, look how they shine for you.” He spoke out into the silence, making your smile grow even bigger at the familiar lyric.

“Yellow, in their 2000 album, the first one they ever released. It’s your favorite isn’t it?” You recalled, remembering him telling you he had a soft spot for their first album.

“Yeah, if’s my favorite, but that’s not why I like the lyric.” He informed you.

“Why is it then?” You asked, genuine curiosity clear in your inquiry.

“It’s because every time I hear the lyric, it reminds me of you.” He answered, his lips turning up into a soft smile.

You couldn’t help but blush, it was such a sweet comment. You had been with Shinsou for awhile yes, but things like that never failed to make your heart flutter. Never failed to make your facial muscles unable to resist a smile, and never failed to make you a flustered mess.

“Have I ever told you how much I loved you?” You said, a small laugh being clear in the question.

He leaned over and kissed you on the cheek. It was a quick kiss, but that didn’t mean it didn’t make the butterflies in your stomach go ballistic.

“I love you too my dear, I love you too.” He told you.

Both of you payed there for most of the night. Eventually you guys grasped each other’s hands. You two talked some, and then let the silence take over to just stare up at the stars. It was a peaceful and simple night, but it was one you would never forget.
