Obviously, in the new world and on the grand line, there are some not-so-great families/ pirates, so I don't think it's out of the question if a female crew member gets pregnant on a ship for them to, perhaps, dump their unwanted child on a random island and expect them to die or smth

And if the island had a town, then they’d most likely be living on the streets since it’s just another mouth to feed, and no one wants to put a strain on their already delicately crafted lives

But moving on from the sad stuff

Imagine if a toddler reader, just hungry and wanting some clothes for the winter, notices a new ship in the port and tries to steal some food and clothes

And, of course, a lil bby can't really steal too well, either falling into a barrel or easily getting caught by the crew…

but once he did warm up to you, and accepted his role as white beard pirate, oh boy!!!!!

also, i dont really need to mention this but ace is warm!! so if reader is still a baby baby, then alot of times when ace was available he’d be incharge of calming you down, since his hold was basically like a big warm blanket that would put you right to sleep

Objectively, Lee is the "least evil" mishima and congrats to him for leaving (tho forcefully) that fucked up family and yeah his childhood sucked big time and I have to respect the hustle of him rebranding himself into the funny "excellent" flamboyant guy but GOD he somehow successfully tricked everybody into forgetting that he is also very not a good person. I KNOW we are starving for positive relationships in tekken but he is very much as egoistical and self-interested as the rest of his family, kazuya is his brother only by name only and lee not only doesnt care about him nor their father and he would happily throw him or both of them under the bus to get ahead LIKE HE IS DOING NOW BY WORKING WITH LARS AND JIN AGAINST KAZUYA. Lee could not have inherited raw power from heihachi so he got his manipulativeness, sketchyness and charisma, and lets not talk about how the devil gene is alienating both kaz and jin so there is no way lee could even keep up with that. But if he could I really doubt he would still be regarded as the meme man that he is now. I love lee but I feel like the only person that can see smth sinister lurking under the surface thats funny and approachable and even has friends. Thats not a negative btw I love that about lee but the overly kindness I see from people's interpretation of him sometimes take me out. Hes better, but hes still not good, yknow?

ok apologies if this sounds like weirdo conspiracy theorist talk but like. i noticed smth abt the way the fandom has evolved in its treatment of nightcloud specifically and i think its. Interesting.

in the Beginning (aka the Early Days) ppl HATED her for similar reasons to squirrelflight, sandstorm, dovewing, and p much every female character that was widely disliked at the time. its no secret that warriors and its fandom have deeply misogynistic content and in the old days ESPECIALLY ppl would hate on a lot of female characters for petty things. in nightclouds case ppl hated her simply for "being mean to crowfeather" and getting in the way of leafcrow shipping. generic misogynist fandom bullshit u know how it is

then came the animatic "nightcloud's tale," which became popular enough for people to consider her in a different light. ofc, hating her was still the majority opinion in the fandom, but the video did portray her in a sympathetic light that got many ppl to change their minds.

then came the mid-late 2010s, when dr*ikinator became popular. they (do they still use they/them? iirc they do, apologies if they dont) happened to be a big nightcloud fan and crowfeather hater. they made what some ppl referred to as "nightcloud apologists" into a more popular subculture within the fandom, w more ppl realizing that she was unfairly hated. ofc, there was nothing wrong with that; liking nightcloud and hating crow was NOT what made dr*ik a bad person. but their later controversy does make the fandoms next phase more significant.

after dr*ik was called out, ppl began to react EXTREMELY harsh toward anyone who shared similar wc opinions to them, including liking night and hating crow, portraying night as sympathetic, or even jokingly calling crow cishet. this was when the term "nightcloud apologist" was officially coined, and it was used to negatively and subtly compare fans of nightcloud to dr*ik. basically, the mindset at the time was that if u did anything similar to dr*ik (like hcing a lot of wc characters as lgbt, sympathizing with mapleshade, or even shipping mothpool), you were just as bad as them. yknow, dr*ikinator, the person who sent p*rn to a minor and told others to off themselves for disagreeing w them. and obviously being compared to dr*ik is never a favorable thing, so nightcloud fans had to constantly deal with being called dr*ik supporters.

now, thankfully, the fandom is starting to come around again toward nightcloud, at least if this blog is any indication. i think ppl just needed time for the dust to settle after the dr*ik incident. tho ive always thought that logic was pretty stupid from the get-go. its like "ohh well THIS horrible person liked roses so if YOU like roses then youre JUST LIKE THEM" yknow??? anyway in conclusion nightcloud deserves better. nightcloud + nightcloud fans i am so fucking sorry for everything u had to go thru (also sorry this ask is so long jfc)

after many many thoughts I think I've got down the reasons as to why lewis didn't make it out of q1 to like 4? reasons and first of all I think a big reason is obviously him running wide on that last lap where it lost him like 0.6 s or smth (I could be wrong). I'm glad he admitted to it though because sometimes he likes to brush these things off. So obviously that was a big reason combined with the fact that apparently he changed his setup.

That's my biggest qualm though because we can scream at merc all we want for making a shitty car and choosing to send him out so so late and basically being why he couldn't set another lap, at the end of the day it's lewis and his side of the garage making these setup changes.

First off like why? Doing experiments in a quali is like not ok. experiments are for weekends where we get the normal three practice sessions. Also the car was not the worst in the sprint race so why not just try to make small optimizations in the areas we were strong in instead of making a dramatic change. Like at some point we need to stop these set up changes until the next major update. Like even if lewis wants to surely someone in his side of the garage has to speak about it right? Because none of these set up changes have worked AT ALL.

but yeah sorry for the rant just annoyed because I think this could have been avoided so easily.

reason 3 and 4 is just merc building a shitty unstable car and then choosing to send their driver out so late. Do they still think they have a rocket ship that only needs one lap to put it on pole. Get a grip guys

Kunikida and Chuuya have a lot alike in terms of who they like....bc they're both definitely into alt and goth styles, but for diff reasons. Kunikida isn't in that scene at all but he's fascinated when he sees a really beautiful person walk by in this very specific tailored outfit. I might accidentally rant how this ship got no development and them having a kid was so out of nowhere but right now my focus is on the soul. You may ask why that's my focus point on this and that's fair! My biggest problem is that these two have probably had sex, less than a month before this interaction.

Why? Because there's not even a bump in her stomach.

This is a nine week baby. Do you think this would have a soul? I feel like the soul would grow- let's say when the brain fully grows. That's on week 20. Does Marie's stomach look like it'd be on week 20? No.

This makes me think of the abortion laws and such in soul eater. I'm pro abortion, I think the soul is a big indicator of the baby breathing and having a consciousness. The soul is probably the line where you cannot have an abortion. But the fact that Marie has a baby soul so early makes me SO mad and yes I know Ohkubo didn't think about any of this when writing this scene. But MAN does it make me angry.

EVERYONE IS CHUUYA insane. Obsessed. Dazai as akagi? Hmmm interesting but, hear me out. Mori as the Akagi? They both are in a position of exploiting the protag "for the greater good" despite their genuine beliefs. And also they're both military doctors in canon.

And Dazai would work well as a a Misato standin: they're bot silly and goofy, both alcoholics lol, both have experience in leading their 'troops' to battle. Have high ranking in their organization. Both genuinely care about their protagist and want to protect them despite contantly putting them in danger. That would make the three pilot kids Chuuya and everyone else kind bends around them. Idk stuff to chew on.
