Promotion for the EP began July 5 with the pre-release single LOVE IN (Summer Nights) featuring Hiraeth’s Poppy. The single debuted atop the South Korean music charts, keeping the number-one spot for nearly two months. LOVE IN (Summer Nights) made history for the soloist, as it achieved a perfect all-kill. Promotions for LOVE IN (Summer Nights) lasted two weeks and seamlessly transitioned to FALL IN LOVE (with you) promotions.

A VERY fun era for Jude! she was more active than usual on tiktok and instagram!

Compared to Killing Me Softly she looked like she actually enjoyed this era and was promoting it! She was all smiles the entire duration!

Many SongBird’s were nostalgic for her earlier eras with this EP. The tracklist reminded them of Love Letter, which was released in 2016. The music video was reminiscent of the mv for Purple Nights, while the fits were somewhat similar to Lover Girl’s outfits. Due to the throwbacks fans received, many began to worry and speculate that this would be her last release and that she’d be retiring from the music industry. However! Daphne squashed the rumors saying; “Namjoo is already planning her next release. There’s no way she’s retiring anytime soon. So, stop worrying and speculating.”

so addictive landed on itself at number 10 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart! And Fall In Love at 7 on Billboard’s Top 100 chart!

☆ fans expected a comeback from her on the 1st july, since that seemed to be the theme for the last two releases. ☆ though they did not get an album, GIRL FROM NOWHERE announced that she had signed under OCTAVIA MUSIC CO. and will be continuing her music journey with the company. ☆ the album was released ten days after the announcement. the music video got 3 million views withing 24 hours of release. ☆ GIRL FROM NOWHERE promoted the album for five weeks, as well as doing a dance challange with a few idols on her tiktok account. ☆ in the third week of her promotion, GIRL FROM NOWHERE paused in the middle of performing WISHING ON A SHOOTING STAR before reaching behind her head and untying the mask she had on. revealing her identity to millions of viewers. ☆ the internet broke after word of her actions was spread, with long time fans of hers coming back.

stepping  into  the  music  scene  with  a  self-titled  mini  album,  VERONIKA  released  an  eccentric  title  track,  entirely  sung  in  slovenian.  unfortunately,  even  after  troubling  herself  to  learn  how  to  pronounce  each  word  in  a  different  language,  the  artist's  career  didn't  pick  up  until  she  released  a  korean  version  only  two  months  later.  quite  fast  when  it  comes  to  getting  any  kind  of  recognition  in  the  music  industry,  but  knowing  that  VERONIKA  debuted  in  GLASSHOUSE  makes  sense  as  to  how  quick  she  became  famous.  the  music  video  for  VERONIKA  barely  received  six  million  views  in  the  first  twenty-four  hours,  which  was  a  shock,  considering  she's  under  a  popular  company. 

this  didn't  stop  the  singer  because  at  the  beginning  of  2021,  VERONIKA  released  MIDNIGHT  DREARY,  and  its  title  track,  THE  WITCH  LIVES,  became  one  of  the  most  talked-about  songs  in  the  months  that  she  was  promoting  it.  the  title  track  delves  into  the  undying  spirit  of  the  witch,  symbolising  resilience  and  eternal  power.  it  narrates  how  VERONIKA's  essence  transcends  time,  haunting  and  guiding  those  who  encounter  her  legacy.  the  song  received  high  praise  from  critics,  and  it  accumulated  twenty  million  views  in  the  first  twenty-four  hours,  as  well  as  three  music  show  wins.  up  until  now,  fans  have  thought  of  this  song  as  VERONIKA's  best-released  one.

SO  BELOW  is  a  continuation  and  the  second  part  of  the  twin  albums.  the  title  track,  I  KNOW  BETTER,  emphasizes  the  witch's  practical  wisdom  and  strength  in  navigating  the  physical  world.  it  underscores  VERONIKA's  confidence  and  mastery  over  the  mystical  and  mundane  aspects  of  life.  the  song  wasn't  as  much  of  a  hit  as  the  previous  one,  but  it  still  received  a  nice  win  on  the  music  show  and  at  least  seven  million  views.  the  concept  for  this  album  focused  on  earthly  manifestations  of  the  witch's  power,  which  was  a  bit  mundane  compared  to  AS  ABOVE's,  which  was  about  the  higher  knowledge  and  wisdom  possessed  by  the  witch. 

the  soloist's  first  ep  album,  KILLING  MR.  STRANGER  is  about  confronting  and  overcoming  external  and  internal  threats.  STRANGENESS  IN  US  explores  the  duality  of  human  nature  and  the  inner  battles  that  parallel  external  conflicts.  it  portrays  VERONIKA's  struggle  against  societal  fears  and  prejudices  while  embracing  her  unique  identity.  the  album  is  raw  and  showcases  VERONIKA's  inner  feelings,  which  resonates  with  her  fans  who  share  the  same  feelings.  however,  many  fans  deemed  this  song  lacklustre  and  said  it  became  boring  after  a  couple  of  listens.  it  didn't  receive  any  wins,  and  the  music  video  had  only  six  million  views.  even  the  artist  herself  admitted  it  felt  empty,  but  that  was  the  point  of  it.  no  one  believed  her,  though,  because  this  was  the  only  track  that  she  didn't  produce  by  herself,  and  the  fans  felt  like  she  was  forced  to  say  that. 

THE  DEVIL  WITHIN  is  a  significantly  better  album.  containing  ten  songs,  this  full  album  talks  about  the  internal  demons  and  darker  aspects  of  the  witch's  persona.  LITTLE  MONSTER  delves  into  the  inner  turmoil  and  darker  impulses  that  reside  within  VERONIKA.  it  reflects  the  constant  battle  with  her  own  darker  nature  and  the  acceptance  of  these  shadowy  facets  as  part  of  her  power.  a  lot  of  fans  commented  how  the  song  reminded  them  of  THE  WITCH  LIVES  and  were  happy  that  despite  the  hiccup  that  was  KILLING  MR.  STRANGER,  VERONIKA  found  a  way  out  of  the  slumps  and  came  back  with  a  much  better  sound.  so  far,  this  is  her  most  streamed  album,  and  it  received  twenty-five  million  views  on  the  first  day,  breaking  her  previous  record  of  twenty  million  views.  it  also  gave  her  six  music  show  wins  and  stayed  on  the  top  five  charts  for  a  good  couple  of  weeks. 

critics  say  that  "the  burden  and  sacrifice  of  wielding  great  power"  symbolizes  VERONIKA's  second  ep  album,  HEAVY  IS  THEE.  the  title  track  symbolizes  the  heavy  responsibility  and  suffering  that  come  with  VERONIKA's  extraordinary  abilities.  CROWN  OF  THORNS  touches  on  themes  of  martyrdom,  endurance,  and  the  pain  intertwined  with  her  gifts.  trap  hip-hop  was  the  main  genre  for  this  album,  and  VERONIKA  explains  it  in  her  own  words:  "the  song  stands  on  a  fine  line  between  desperation  and  obsession,  so  i  feel  like  it’ll  be  a  good  song  for  people  to  relate  to  and  get  immersed  in".  the  song  reached  the  international  fandom  more,  mainly  because  of  the  different  genre  the  song's  stepped  in.  no  music  show  wins,  but  the  international  fandom  will  always  praise  the  song.

BLESS  MY  HEART  —  a  song  about  someone  navigating  deep  emotional  pain,  hidden  struggles,  and  the  fine  line  between  sanity  and  madness.  through  a  journey  of  transformation,  isolation,  and  longing  for  connection,  the  protagonist  ultimately  faces  a  revelation  of  betrayal  —  serves as a pre-release single for HERO's upcoming mini album.

the  music  video  for the single was  released  in  three  parts during the month of june,  each  one  telling  HERO's  story  through  his  point  of  view.  the  first  part  —  THE  ENCHANTED  FOREST  —  focuses  on  his  initial  encounter  with  the  surreal  landscape,  the  emergence  of  the  wolves,  and  the  beginning  of  his  quest  for  understanding.

THE  ORACLE'S  GUIDANCE  —  HERO  seeks  counsel  from  the  enigmatic  ORACLE  who  resides  within  the  ancient  tree.  this  segment  explores  HERO's  confrontation  with  his  inner  demons,  symbolized  by  the  monstrous  wolves,  and  his  transformative  journey  through  the  mirror-like  portal  guided  by  the  ORACLE.

( PART ONE )

on  an  ordinary  winter  night,  HERO  found  himself  alone  in  the  middle  of  a  desolate,  snow-covered  forest.  the  snow  wasn't  the  usual  white  but  shimmered  in  shades  of  blue  and  gold,  casting  an  eerie,  ethereal  glow.  HERO  had  no  recollection  of  how  he  got  there  but  felt  a  strange  pull  as  if  something—or  someone—was  guiding  him.

as  he  walked  through  the  forest,  the  snow  began  to  melt  beneath  his  touch,  turning  into  golden  droplets  that  evaporated  into  the  air.  the  cold  should  have  bothered  him,  but  instead,  it  felt  oddly  comforting.  the  forest  was  silent  except  for  the  soft  crunch  of  snow  under  his  feet  and  the  distant,  haunting  howl  of  wolves.

HERO  ventured  deeper  into  the  forest,  and  the  trees  seemed  to  whisper  secrets  from  the  past.  he  stumbled  upon  a  clearing  where  spectral  images  of  his  memories  floated  around  him.  he  saw  himself  as  a  child,  laughing  and  playing  with  friends;  he  saw  his  first  love,  a  girl  with  bright  eyes  and  a  radiant  smile;  he  saw  moments  of  triumph  and  sorrow,  all  swirling  in  a  ghostly  dance.

he  reached  out  to  touch  one  of  the  images,  and  it  dissipated  into  golden  dust.  a  sense  of  longing  and  regret  washed  over  him.  he  realized  these  memories  were  not  just  from  his  past  but  fragments  of  what  could  have  been,  paths  not  taken,  dreams  unfulfilled.

( PART TWO )

HERO  followed  one  of  the  paths,  his  heart  pounding  with  anticipation.  the  tree  in  front  of  him  was  unlike  any  he  had  ever  seen;  it  radiated  an  aura  of  wisdom  and  power.  at  its  base  sat  an  old  woman,  the  ORACLE,  her  eyes  blindfolded  yet  seeming  to  see  everything.

"why  have  you  come,  seeker?"  she  asked  in  a  voice  that  echoed  through  the  forest.

"i  don't  know,"  HERO  replied  honestly.  "i  feel  lost."

the  ORACLE  nodded.  "you  are  here  to  find  what  was  lost  and  to  understand  what  lies  ahead.  the  wolves  are  your  fears  and  doubts.  to  move  forward,  you  must  face  them."

as  if  on  cue,  the  wolves  began  to  transform.  they  grew  larger,  their  forms  shifting  into  monstrous  versions  of  themselves,  each  representing  a  fear  or  regret  that  haunted  HERO.  one  snarled  with  the  face  of  betrayal,  another  with  the  visage  of  failure,  and  yet  another  with  the  guise  of  loneliness.

HERO  knew  he  had  to  confront  them.  drawing  strength  from  deep  within,  he  faced  each  wolf  in  turn.  the  battles  were  fierce,  both  physically  and  mentally,  as  he  wrestled  with  his  inner  demons.  with  each  victory,  the  wolves  shrank  back  into  their  original  forms  and  then  into  harmless  golden  dust.

exhausted  but  triumphant,  HERO  turned  back  to  the  ORACLE.  she  gestured  to  the  tree,  and  a  mirror-like  portal  appeared  on  its  trunk.  "step  through,"  she  instructed.  "your  journey  is  not  yet  complete."

with  a  deep  breath,  HERO  stepped  through  the  portal  and  found  himself  in  a  surreal,  dreamlike  realm.  the  sky  was  a  swirl  of  colours,  and  the  ground  beneath  his  feet  felt  like  walking  on  clouds.  here,  time  seemed  fluid,  and  the  laws  of  physics  didn't  apply.

he  encountered  versions  of  himself  from  different  points  in  time,  each  offering  insights  and  lessons.  some  were  younger  and  more  hopeful,  others  older  and  wiser.  they  guided  him  through  the  realm,  helping  him  piece  together  the  fragments  of  his  soul.

in  the  heart  of  this  realm,  HERO  found  a  radiant  crystal,  pulsating  with  energy.  as  he  touched  it,  a  wave  of  clarity  and  understanding  washed  over  him.  he  saw  his  life  in  its  entirety,  the  interconnectedness  of  every  choice,  every  regret,  and  every  moment  of  joy.  he  understood  that  his  journey  wasn't  just  about  confronting  his  fears  but  embracing  every  part  of  himself.

with  newfound  wisdom,  he  stepped  back  through  the  portal,  returning  to  the  forest.  the  ORACLE  was  gone,  but  the  ancient  tree  now  bore  blossoms  of  gold  and  blue.  the  forest,  once  eerie  and  desolate,  was  now  vibrant  and  alive  with  the  promise  of  new  beginnings.

the official debut from the mysterious singer, GIRL FROM NOWHERE, was announced on april 1st, 2024. the album consisted of one song, as well as the instrumental version of it.

☆ on the 1st of april, a new song was released to the public, by the same artist. the music video had a more homemade feel to it, since the shots were mostly of the singers backside, or the lower half of her face. ☆ fans thought that at first, it was an april fools joke because she was finally showing a bit of herself on camera. ☆ the music video for the song got nearly 1.2 million views in 24 hours, due to fans flocking to see a glimpse of GIRL FROM NOWHERE's features. ☆ this album was promoted for three weeks, gathering the attention of more people because of the unique performance. ☆ the stage performance of MEET ME AT MIDNIGHT was done with the singer's face concealed by a mask, covering everything but her lips.

audition went okay i think. mostly happy with the schubert. fucked some of the accidentals in the brahms and took the fourth mvt excerpt WAY too fast (not for my ability to play it but for like. the tempo maestro wanted...) the first go round. just completely ditched the mozart LOL, didn't get to it. THE LADY FROM THE SPAIN TRIP WAS THERE. SOB. at least most of her chatting was while maestro was out of the room so it was just me and the clarinet prof i have no relation to so like. embarrassing but not unbearable. maestro is so happy to have me back again and he refused to let me leave the audition without giving me chocolate
