PITCH:

Attack On Titan: New Dawn

What is it — an American made Adult Swim/Toonami original series that acts as a sequel or continuation of the Attack On Titan anime and is done in the same style or aesthetic of the first two seasons.

PREMISE:

Set three years after the events of "The Final Chapters - Part 2", we at first follow Historia Reiss — or as she now goes by her old identity "Christa Lenz" — as she's currently in hiding with her daughter Ymir away from the Marley and Eldia conflict in a large fictional seaside town off the coast of California.

See, it's revealed that the rest of the world is actually "modern day" where before they've completely ostracized the Marley and Eldia side in horror and disgust but now after the Rumbling caused and led by Eren Yeager, tensions are now higher than ever especially now that Marley and Eldia are now aware of the modern world.

Wanting to give both her child and herself a chance at a normal and decent life away from everything Historia has ever witnessed, the former Queen of the Walls is now among the mundane and trying to make it on her own, doing whatever she can to give the two of them a new life.

But unfortunately, Historia discovers the hard way that she can't run away from her past no matter how hard she tries when a path she takes brings a certain familiar face to her or rather on her trail — Mikasa Ackerman, now a bounty hunter who hunts down criminals on the modern side and even Marleyians and Eldians. On top of that, she now has a new and deadly, almost twisted femme fatale personality that finds herself attracted to Historia like a cat to a mouse.

It's then that Historia is dragged into a fantastical underworld by Mikasa that deals in crime and violence with the two of them developing not only an unlikely relationship but also an unlikely love for each other as they fight against the odds that they're now going up against.

Notes/Details/Trivia:

• Not only will the Funimation dub voice actresses Trina Nishimura and Bryn Apprill reprise their roles as Mikasa and Historia but the voice cast for the new characters are Walton Goggins, Steve Valentine, Jason Statham, Sumalee Montano, Jamie Clayton and Hazel Doupe.

• Obviously from what you read and the piece of fanart from Larkei on top, Mikasa and Historia will become an official romantic couple very, very, very early on. But it will be in an unconventional way with Mikasa forcing and even blackmailing Historia to not only have her stay and hide out but for the two of them to be said couple with the former declaring to the latter "From this moment forward for the rest of your life, you. are. mine!". The source of blackmail is none other than the life of Historia's own daughter.

• The show will push the limit of the TV-MA rating like most Adult Swim shows do (both the good and bad ones) as always this time with grounded and brutal violence that at times is visceral. Examples of this are a character getting stabbed in the armpit, a character finding a jar full of severed tongues, a character getting stabbed in the face and having to pull it out and plenty of zombie-type body horror (which I'll get to) with media such as The Devil's Backbone, Sons Of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire and Overlord serving as the violence influences. However, the show will also push the limit of sexual content as well — there will be female nudity shown for starters and two examples of what type of content we're talking involves the two leads are when Historia wakes up after first encountering Mikasa fully and thinking or hoping it was some sort of nightmare, to get up and step on something that's warm and sticky.... she looks down and it's cum. Another is that in the next episode, Historia is woken up by something hot and just as sticky that splats on her face and to her shock and horror, it's Mikasa nutting on her face intentionally to wake her up.

• What will also make it stand-out more is that it will go back to its predecessor's horror roots that it had in its first few episodes. But it's in a distinctive new way that ties into the Titan serum — it's a special serum that's origins will be kept ambigious which permanently gives Mikasa and Historia "undead powers" where their bodies can be taken apart and put back together, contort, wounds heal immediately etc.

• Through a couple of references and easter eggs, a retroactive shared universe will be heavily implied to show there's more to the AOT universe.

MY BIG GAY NEWSPAPER AU please!!!

AHAHAHAHAHHAAHA YESSSSSS. So this is an AU for one of my favorite movies of all time, the comfort watch of comfort watches, gay cinema classic The Eagle starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell. Which, now it’s been invoked Bababdook-like, I will now probably need to rewatch within the next 24 hours or so.

This is SO DEEPLY SELF INDULGENT WOW I was myself working at a newspaper at the time, Marcus is the heir to a Buzzfeed-esque news empire and Esca is an INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST with INTEGRITY and Marcus’ uncle notes Marcus’ interest and BUYS HIS STRUGGLING PAPER and Esca HATES IT and hates how he fell in love with Marcus at first sight EVEN MORE.

“Who’s that?”

“He owns the Ninth Tribune,” Marcus says. “He’s being sued by Mayor Abbot for libel.”

“What, really?” Dom lets out a low whistle. “Over that corruption case? He broke that story?”

Marcus nods, a note of religious awe slipping into his voice. “Dogged reporting, over weeks and months of sitting in meetings, talking to financial planners, digging through municipal paperwork. The charges won’t stick, his case is bulletproof.”

“Impressive,” Dom says, noting the gleam in Marcus’ eyes, a look he hasn’t seen in his nephew in months. “So what’s he so fired up about?”

The gleam fades, and Marcus looks over at his uncle for the first time that morning. “The Ninth Tribune is on the skids,” he says bitterly. “No way can he pay for the legal bills, not to hire the kind of help that’d be any good against Abbot’s goons. He’s making a public protest.”

“Hmm,” Dom says. The camera’s panned out enough to take in a little more of the scene around MacCunoval. “Chained himself to the boardwalk. Well, it makes a statement.”

“It does,” Marcus says, missing his uncle’s tone completely. “He’s the real thing, Uncle Dom. He’s the real deal, the local beat reporter, grabbing a story and following it until the end and not letting it go until—” He sighs, and rubs a hand over his jaw. “He’s the real thing,” he says.

Dom considers him thoughtfully. “Want to do a story on him?”

Marcus snorts. “Right. Because the site has room for that, in between ‘22 Awkward Celebrity Yearbook Photos’ and a thrilling expose on Chinese fashion designers ripping off American brands, all sourced to other websites. What’s the point in having an office here if we can’t even report on the local things that matter?”

Dom doesn’t answer. There isn’t an answer, and Marcus knows there isn’t. It isn’t even really the question he wants answered, the one he’s wanted answered for the past six months. And Dom doesn’t have an answer for that either.

🌻(sunflower) what are your favourite biomes? Furthermore which biome feels most like home to you (might not even be your fave!). If you could add new biomes to the game what would they be?

I’ve always loved big snowy mountain biomes and ice spikes, but I also really love those ancient taiga biomes with the rocks around them! I’ve always found meadows biomes to be very homely, they’re nice and have a lot of flowers, and usually they have large flat planes that would be easy to build on. As far as new biomes, I’d love to see more biomes in the End! I also really love the lavender biome from Biomes o’ Plenty, so that would be cool to have too.

🏡 (house) what style do you like building with most? What style would you like to try out? Maybe share some pictures of some of your builds if you’d like!

I don’t know if I can necessarily pin down my style, per se? I really love stuff with big spikes, and my interiors tend to have some sort of wood as a primary block, so there’s that! My best pictures of my most recent build are all in my creative test world, but I’ll slap a few in anyway!

This is one build that’s part of my most recent project on a server I play on! I’m making an empire in a snowy biome (hence all the snow and ice) and this is a battle coliseum!

🎂(cake) favourite recent addition to the game? (1.16 and after)

I can’t pick just one, so I’ll pick something from every major update from 1.16 to 1.19 just for fun :D

1.16: so much good stuff in this one, it’s hard to pick. If I were to pick just one, it would probably be netherite, but blackstone blocks are a VERY close second. That, and of course, Nether biomes my beloved

1.17: glow lichen and candles are absolutely phenomenal, two small light sources that really change the game when it comes to lighting up your builds. This update also added in some of the bases for the cave biomes, which are incredible.

1.18: the mob spawning change that makes it so they can’t spawn in any light level greater than zero was added here, and it’s easily the best thing to happen to every Minecraft build ever, so I have to pick that one

1.19: sculk blocks my absolute beloved, they’re my favorite block in the game <3

📷 (camera) do you watch any streamers or mcyt? Is there anyone whose style influences you?

I watch DSMP, Hermitcraft, and Empires SMP, as I’m sure you (and everyone else who looks at my blog) know. I definitely take a lot of inspiration from various MCYT’s in my builds! One of the main ones you can see in the build i showed before is the influence from Tango’s Decked Out 2 build!

As you can see here, his build uses a lot of pointed blackstone with the warped stem walls, which I definitely took inspiration from!

There’s other inspirations that I’ve taken for just my one build alone, such as iJevin’s season 9 castle for the floors, and Scar’s season 6 boardwalk for the upper floor level. The whole idea of making an empires comes from, well, Empires, and I’m definitely looking towards their builds (especially fWhip and Sausage) when I think about my own empire.

Funny enough, I think I’ve probably taken the least inspiration from DSMP, despite it being my home fandom for the longest time. Though, if you look closely, you can see some sculk vines on the build and within the inner arena, which is an idea I got from BBH’s egg arc.
