Aspark Owl SP600, 2024. A "production intent" electric hypercar has set a new world record for electric cars achieving a top speed of 438.7 kph (272.6 mph). The record-breaking run was the result of a collaboration between Manifattura Automobili Torino (M.A.T.) and tyre specialist Bridgestone, driven by professional racer Marc Basseng. The high speed run was achieved at at Automotive Testing Papenburg in Lower Saxony, Germany.
