- the fact that Sam fell asleep like that mouth open facing Dean is so cute

and the fact that Dean sees him and thinks ‘I should slide something into his mouth as he sleeps’ is. Brotherly? Unholy?

- last episode Sam told Dean he will leave him and Dean told Sam All I want is you and then John came back and left them again and this episode they’re pulling pranks like nothing happened. Fascinating ecosystem

- Dean calls Sam a girl which makes him pull a face

In this episode Dean also tells Sam that he never gets laid and that he’s too tense. So Sam is like a girl and he’s too tense and he needs to get laid, Dean? This is how Dean copes with thinking Sam is really really pretty

- Dean is REALLY flustered when Sam enters the room half naked in just a towel around his hips. Dean was sneaking itching powder into Sam’s underwear, but he’s SO flustered and he’s doing elevator eyes and he is a professional scam artist allegedly so why is he flustered

- Sam calls out for Dean when Mordecai is trying to choke him so Dean saves him. It’s almost like he held out as long as he could before calling to Dean, knowing that if he really needed him Dean would come

- they have fun together and are very in sync as a team and I love this episode because they’re their own world and each other’s home in mundane ways as well as apocalyptic ways

-The Benders

-Sam is tickled by Dean calling him a grandma for wanting to leave the bar early. He likes Dean’s attention.

-Dean loses Sam immediately after he promises nothing bad will happen to him as long as he’s around. Tbf Sam went into the parking lot unsupervised so this is on him

-Sam wakes up in a cage absolutely certain that his brother is looking for him and immediately starts doing his part investigating and breaking shit. I love him more than life

-Sam and Dean have matching realizations

-Sam yells at Jenkins not to call him Sammy

-the way they look at each other when Dean shows up. It’s giving light of my life fire of my loins

-“Hey! Be careful,” Sam tells Dean before he goes to look for the key. More of him worrying about Dean. More of me imagining little Sammy fretting over Dean before a hunt saying Dean wait be careful Dean don’t forget the rock salt Dean try to come home before midnight Dean-

-Dean chooses for Sam to be the one let out of the cage and hunted because he thinks he’ll be able to get away. He thinks Sam is the cutest thing alive but also that he’s extremely capable and dangerous.

-Dean tells Sam never to go missing again and Sam grins and says “you were worried about me,” as if this is surprising somehow. Either he’s just flirting or he’s basking in this evidence of Dean’s affection.

It must be unusual for Dean to worry about Sam in this context- not knowing where he is, thinking he’s in danger for an extended period of time. Sam is used to worrying about Dean while he’s off hunting.

Dean says “You vanish like that again I’m not looking for you” and Sam says “sure you will” still smiling. He trusts that Dean will do anything to protect him and I wonder how aware he is that he’s got Dean wrapped around his finger. Not aware enough.
