I require the wisdom of seasoned hellers and spn fans (I've been watching for a year or 2? I don't really remember, time is an illusion, and I'm still not done because I'm terrified to get to the end). It's for fanfic reasons.

Can someone tell me if Cas had to fight to get to Dean in hell? And did he have to fight just demons, or other angels also trying to grab him first? I can't remember exactly and google is not helping.

The spn wiki says Cas lead the garrison, but I swear I remember for some reason that he was fighting other angels too.

shoutout also to ruby being the funniest person alive and existing to hang out and cause problems for 15 years also. imagine you’re sam winchester and you have been having a fucking hellish summer and your tether to reality after losing your brother (who’s everything) is this demon who’s also sort of damning you but she also represents this hope of vengeance which is something to work for, something to do right. then your brother comes back and you never thought it would happen and it changes everything maybe everything’s okay and as this is happening the demon’s in the corner interrupting to make it seem like she’s a innocent hookup whose name you got wrong and she asks if you and your brother are together. and she’s wearing some kind of dress from target for some reason.
