I’ve been using Nellies laundry soap and using wool dryer balls (that I made an essential oil blend to spray on them cause I do like a little scent), and my clothes/towels/sheets have never felt as soft and fluffy as they do now.

Currently still in bed hunkering down because everything feels way too good to get out of.

There is something about remasters of hames from the early 2000s. First of all, playing them on the computer in a small window that doesn’t take up the whole screen has a certain feel to it that adds to the charm. Second of all, the remastered version that touches up the graphics but doesn’t go overboard is like, the perfect middle ground between way too polygon (like FFVII or the og Resident Evil 2) and way too graphically intensive (anything made since 2016 pretty much). The models look good but you don’t see all of their pores and individual hair strands that 1. Are more work for the staff to create and 2. Take up so much space. Games from that era also seemed a bit sillier, even when they had serious elements. They weren’t trying to make everything gritty and “cool” and tough. This also means that, in games where they give you extra goofy outfits for the characters, it doesn’t feel as much like it breaks the game’s immersion to put them on them (or maybe that’s just how Final Fantasy is as a franchise, but I wouldn’t put some funky outfit on 2020 Cloud or Noctis.
