bill - pixies, r.e.m, the verve, david bowie, the stone roses, psychedelic furs, echo & the bunnymen. British Dad Music Taste as stated in a previous stonechatting post. he gets stan into the verve & they dance to sonnet trust

richie - violent femmes!!!, the b-52s, bronski beat, beastie boys. anything Kind of Strange definitely weird al too

eddie - duran duran, ramones, the police, the clash, billy idol, depeche mode, the smashing pumpkins maybe??. i think he would like a lot of pop music too like he would secretly listen to madonna or something

stan - cocteau twins!!, mazzy star, the smiths, the stranglers, eels. he prefers slower/calmer music and has never liked anything too energetic, richie calls his music taste depressing

mike - the mamas & the papas, the turtles, the flamingos, the beatles, chuck berry, chordettes . i have a vision of him liking a lot of 50s & 60s music 4 some reason !? i think it fits him a lot

bev - republica, blondie, bon jovi, the primitives, talking heads, queen perhaps !? i like to think she likes a lot of more rock heavy songs

ben - wham!, simple minds, jeff buckley, soft cell, u2, beach boys, & obviously new kids on the block ! i can imagine him liking a lot of Joyous Music

i think that stanley would actually really enjoy horror movies because he is very much the type of person who is like "it's not real. it's a movie. i know it's not real, so why would i be scared of it. what do you mean this movie is scary, it's literally people acting it's not real" and so because of that whenever the losers have movie night he always chooses a horror movie.

and, im also imagining that he does this because richie DOES get scared of horror movies (payback for when richie made fun of him for being scared of spiders)

also!!! he finds out that patty ALSO loves horror movies so for their first date stan finds this drive-in movie thing that is playing horror movies all night, so he takes her there and they have a movie marathon together :3

headcanon that the losers exchange gifts in december just for the fun of it. richie always gives gag gifts and eddie is always complaining about it, bev and ben always put all their thought and care into their gifts, usually ben buys the losers a book that he spent awhile picking out, but nobody besides mike and eddie actually reads them. bev and bill just buys them action figures and comic books, which they all appreciate. stan makes everyone a card and just puts a couple dollars in them, and mike and eddie just buy clothes because they can never think of anything else

The World of IT, the book. It lists the characters in a very specific way. it isn't alphabetical so do you think it would be by whose the oldest? I know it isn't logical because of their birthday placements but it's just some random post.

• Bill is the first loser in their chapter, and since they were all born in the same year then his birthday would probably be sometime in January. (January 4th)

• Richie is the second loser in this chapter, his birthday is canonically March 7th which would make him the second eldest of the group also meaning there are no February birthdays

• Mike is next, which doesn't really surprise me because he looks like he would be one of the oldest, and when he got to an older age he helped around the farm. In the movie it kind of shows that once he turned thirteen he was apparently old enough to his grandfather to help around the farm. (July 1st, maybe??)

• Beverly Marsh, I always thought her birthday would be sometime in July also. Maybe towards the end? (July 23rd)

• Eddie Kaspbrak, you would expect him to be the baby of the losers because of his size but no! But he still isn't counted as one of the oldest and that probably disappoints him. (August 7th)

• Ben Hanscom, I definitely expected him to be the baby of the group. Him being the new kid and all, the losers probably thought he'd be older. But nope, he was 11 going on 12. He's fairly smart for his age and probably skipped a grade. (September 27th)

• Stanley Uris, the last chapter of the losers. I don't think he'd be the youngest. I'd switch him out with Ben. But as I'm doing, it's just a little theory. And if he was the youngest, he'd be 12. (November 19th)

hc that richies teeth r a mess and went totally hates it cause it makes him look bad and richie gets braces and hates them but he gets the brightest color they had available cause he loves bright colors

also his style of comedy is so so rachel sennott ( look her up if u dont know who she is please shes hilarious ) which is why i feel like he gets into acting in like absurd comedies and it kinda sticks and eventually falls into actually acting

bill loves drawing the other losers when they r not paying attention and little sketches and doodles cover his school work ( the others think its so endearing )

on days when his stutter is really bad bill goes nonverbal but the losers include him easily cause he is honestly kinda an open book with his intentions and emotions so they always know what he wants

eddie hates walking long distances and is always asking for piggyback rides ( adding to the eddie should hate nyc but when anyone brings it up he gaslights them cause he has always wanted to live there agenda )

however eddie loves running and is always racing people because he knows he will win even though hes short ( richie hates it cause his legs are too long and he is really awkward and oddly slow when he tries to run. if he actually gets fast he almost always trips cause he is so clumsy and then eddie is way in front of him )

bev gives richie and bill amateur piercings full parent trap style and at least one of them gets infected. when they r older she convinces ben to let her pierce his ears. eddie hates it and is always like “i am not helping when it gets infected” but does anyway

she also makes friendship bracelets and the losers freak when they find out and they all are always wearing at least two

in some an au stan becomes an ornithologist but like just in an au where the losers dont split up during the time jump they buy him a bird like as soon as they move out of derry and it is stans favorite thing ever

stan is really good at hiding his emotions but he always stims when he is overwhelmed or upset and it is a clear giveaway. he has been doing it since he was really little and now cant stop

mike loves animals and shows off all the farm animals to the other losers and also def has a dog that eddie loves but pretends not to even though the dog also loves him

mike is also the loser who everyone goes to for advice for literally anything and has the ability to make anyone feel better like instantly the others have no idea how he does it

ben loves the act of designing buildings but was never that good at math so college was a little rough. also his interest in archeology started after he read percy jackson in middle school cuz annabeth loved archeology

he also slips into a country accent whenever he gets really comfortable and the losers think its amazing ( richies country accent is just him trying and failing to copy ben )

richie and ben light up the room when they are truly happy. richie because his happiness is loud and unavoidable and ben because his radiates off him in waves and spreads to those around him

LOSERS WALLET/KEYS HCS

MIKE HANLON

Mike has more keys than the average person. Multiple house keys, a shed key, library keys, (cause he volunteers so frequently it's basically his job), his actual job keys, and anywhere on the farm that needs to be locked, if Mike belongs somewhere he's got a key to get in, with different labels. He uses white gaft tape and black sharpie on the head of the key and has key words or abbreviations. Front door to his house is "Fr." ; Back door is "Bk." ; Library is "Lib" ; Shed is just "shed" written small. Etc. Etc.

In his wallet, he keeps his ID, his library card, a photo of himself with his parents, a Polaroid of the losers club that he took from the Clubhouse wall after the last loser left, and a credit card. He carries one 20 dollar bill, one 5, and five 1s at all times.

STANLEY URIS

Stan hates a big set of keys. He carries his house key separate from his car key.

Stan is a nostalgic. His stoic personality is often questioned when someone gets a glimpse of his wallet. He has one of those wallets with pictures that fold out. He has endless photos - his family, his wife, his friends (the few of them he has), and one of Beverly, the only loser he can remember the slightest bit of. He also saves little sticky notes Patty leaves him on the kitchen counter, even if they're just "Stan - Gone to grocery store, be back at 7. Love, Patty" always accompanied with a smiley face or a heart or a stick figure comic to make him laugh.

RICHIE TOZIER

Richie has a comically large set of keys. He only has one house key and one car key, but he loves extravagant decorations. He has one keychain from the college he attended, one glow-stick bracelet from his senior prom, a mood ring his "friend" won him at a carnival once that didn't fit, a mini lava-lamp keychain, and a few souvenirs from different places he toured once he started booking comedy gigs. After the events of It 2, he adds a mini hand-sanitzer bottle (per Eddie's command). Despite the vibrance and size of his keychain, he still loses it all the time.

Richie keeps a credit card, his ID, and an arcade card in his wallet. He doesn't like to carry cash. He also has an absurd amount of coins pooling at the bottom of his wallet that he never has sorted through (he doesn't plan on it.)

EDDIE KASPBRAK

Eddie has a very simple keychain: House key, car key, hand-sanitizer, and a loop keychain that came with the car key, with his car's brand's logo on it. He holds it from that loop around his index finger so he can also hold other stuff in the same hand.
