as we enter the start of a semester and the dreaded Hour of Making Friends us upon us... if ur ever at a loss for what to say in one of those weird social situations where you only vaguely-know people, one of my favorite questions to ask is "what is your favorite food crime." a food crime is like the food combination that you love that other people find revolting. press them to take it further than pineapple on pizza, that's rote. food crimes is a good topic that has many benefits as it turns out all people are degenerates and also it will give you some cool ideas to try out later in the privacy of your own degenerate kitchen

the other good thing to ask is "okay but has anyone here ever been someplace haunted" bc it turns out if you ask most people directly they don't believe in ghosts, but many people are like "oh yeah i lived in a haunted house. ghosts aren't real tho"

Okay guys i am being so fr i LOVE atom eve. I love her so much. I love her powers and I love who she is…when Mark isn’t around.

Don’t get me wrong, I love their relationship. It’s so beautiful (even if my heart is still hurting from Amber) and I love their understanding of each other but I also feel like, when she’s dating mark, she’s just not understood. Her character and powers are reduced to a stepstool for mark’s character. In the atom eve special, she was throwing bitches around like nothing and DEFIED THOSE MEN TO EVEN REMEMBER WHO SHE WAS and now…she makes glass walls for every. Fucking. Attack. I don’t get it. I don’t get how such a powerful, potentially interesting character can be so underutilized. The show is amazing and I love how they designed her to not be as sexualized as she was in the comics but every scene she has with Mark feels like a therapist talking to her patient. Or, it’s a fight they’re both in against someone and she gets knocked down because she’s using the same weak-ass attack every time so Mark can look cooler or so the focus can be on Mark. I’m not saying she has to have all the focus on her every time, but can the writers stop acting like she’s not capable of more damage? Please?

u know what though... i don't think this facepalming is for the witnesses in the room, but i also don't think it's an "oh no, thor's so stupid" facepalm, i think it's a "why the fuck did i do that?" one. i don't think loki especially wants to invade jotunheim, he just thought it'd be a laugh to get thor to do it, but then oh shit thor is actually going to do that so now he needs to sabotage it somehow (telling the guard) but also:

"shit, i've fucked this up, haven't i?" it seemed like such a good idea two minutes ago. couldn't help himself. wouldn't it be funny if? but now they have to go to fucking jotunheim and he could so easily have just not done that. oops! facepalm time!

Nameless and Friendless focuses on the predicament of the single woman in the modern metropolis by offering a female version of the traditional ‘Choice of Hercules’ theme. The picture shows an orphaned female artist (as suggested by her black dress), accompanied by a boy, presumably her brother, diffidently offering one of her paintings to a dealer whose disdainful expression suggests rejection. An assistant looks down cursorily at her canvas from his position on a ladder, while the woman is eyed up from behind by two rakish men otherwise engaged in examining a hand-coloured print of a ballerina – the bare legs of whom suggest other choices facing the impoverished and desperate young woman. Isolated in the centre of the composition between leering and contemptuous glances, the woman’s vulnerability is accentuated by her downward gaze and fingers nervously pulling a hoop of string. The mud-splattered crepe of her skirt, her dripping umbrella and protective cape hint at the distance she has travelled and the conditions she has endured to brave the encounter.

Girls the thing about Dream stans is that everybody who was still here after 2021, much less remains now in 2025, is immune to evidence and has been for years. This is not a matter of being uninformed or of just not seeing it the right way! All this information is out there! It is being broadcasted by Dream himself! Anyone who has an opinion at this point has made their choice! Anyone who is looking at those DM screenshots, at the tons and tons of testimonies of people he's hurt, at how many of his associates have denounced him explicitly or frozen him out, at the way the people standing by him act, at the pattern of Dream's behavior and its effects that has been there for years, and still thinks Dream is worth defending is genuinely and actually beyond most external help. There is no more argument! There is genuinely nothing more to say! And again, this has been the case for years!

EXAMPLE: 

What I said: “I wasn’t a huge fan of my last therapist, and don’t want to start therapy again for a bit.”

What my dad told my step mom: “She says the last therapist was horrible and she’ll never trust another therapist ever again.“

What I said: “Yeah, the meds make me act happy when I don’t feel happy.”

What my step mom tells EVERYONE: “She says the meds make her feel happy but she 100% does not want to be happy.”

But yeah I’m being irrational the parent is always right yada yada yada
