because people were eating up my will branner homecoming character (now called steven) x trevor post, some steven x trevor headcanons BECAUSE I SAID SO

steven always buys trevor flowers for all of his shows. if he sees the show twice? he gets two bouquets of flowers. trevor makes a big deal about how flowers die but he secretly keeps one of the buds of each flower after they dry up. he’s hoping to eventually use them as wedding decor

trevor is a big horror movie fan and steven HATES them. he will cower in fear under a blanket whenever trevor makes him watch a scary movie.

they’re going to the same college but not in a cringey way in like an “even if we broke up i cannot imagine my life without you” way

steven is the little spoon

trevor is dyslexic and has a hard time with his lines but steven is always willing to sit with him and help him learn them <3

It's super funny, chock full of references, and the cast and crew truly are passionate about this - I truly think they capture the chaotic but joyful energy of college-era StarKid lol.

If you're coming to EdFringe to see the Tin Can Bros' Solve It Squad anyway, you should definitely come along (trust me, we will all be going there too whilst there 🤭) if you'll be about between 19th-24th August, or donate to the Kickstarter to help this happen! hatchetfield teens x are you afraid of the dark: curse of the shadows remix with some type of gang (most likely smoke club) going up against a tom houston version of the shadowman.

like... there's a implied romance between a rebel without a cause and a nerdy loser who's stronger than he looks (lautski). even if you didn't ship that, there's another romance you can pick from where there's a tough girl who's fighting for justice and the nerdy loser is here as an awkward yet also just as intelligent and cool guy following along (lautski but also lexthan???) there's a sibling relationship that is good but rocky but also regains stability as they fall into the same supernatural horror (the fosters). a comic book geek realizes that the comic he's reading is telling the future and thus sacrifices himself with an iconic line brought back from an interaction before (more richie coded but like... art??? deb maybe??? could also be ziggs). a hard working girl who's friends with the chaotic group despite her responsbilities, gets dragged into it and gets traumatized all because she wanted to help them (alice). the entire reason the villain even becomes the villain is for his kid. there's so many more things i could list that would fit the hatchetfield characters perfectly. i will write this myself if i have to

been rewatching SU clips recently and it's got me thinking about how a Hatchetfield Steven Universe AU would work so well.

i see it as an imperfect role reversal AU, mostly it's like, vaguely keeping the story of SU but also respecting the canon personalities of the characters from the hatchetfield series and somewhat tweaking the way the story happens accordingly.

first and foremost : the Lords in Black as the Diamonds. so instead of White, the Diamond leader is Green Diamond (Wiggly), and blue+yellow's roles are filled in by Pink Diamond (Nibbly), Purple Diamond (Blinky), Yellow Diamond (Tinky) and Blue Diamond (Pokey)

Webby/White Diamond/Spider Quartz (a type of quartz with a speck of black Hollandite inside! I imagine Webby would've been an off colored Diamond, with a speck of black inside) - she takes Rose/Pink's place in the story. Hannah takes Steven's place.

I like the idea of the crystal gems being McNamara, Holloway and Lex. My reasoning is that McNamara and Holloway are the main two from Hatchetfield who explicitely know what's going on with the Lords and want to stop it. In this AU i imagine the both of them would take on a leader role, instead of it being like the original where Garnet is explicitely the leader, here both of them are leading as equals. Lex would take the role of both Amethyst and Pearl. Amethyst's role as the sister figure to Steven (or here, Hannah), and Pearl's role as the one who was closest to Rose/Webby (obviously though, no forbidden love story there. I don't even think Lex would be a pearl).

Not sure exactly what kind of gems the three of them would be, though I imagine McNamara is the emotional maturity and courage for the group and Holloway is the more intelligence-oriented one, kind of like Pearl - she has wisdom beyond her years. Perhaps McNamara is younger and joined the cause later, like Garnet and Amethyst. Holloway definitely uses moreso magic instead of just a straightforward weapon - more like Peridot's telekinesis and Lapis' waterbending.

I'm a little rusty in terms of gem designs but i might try my hand at something some other time? idk. feel free to go buckwild with this concept though if u want. please tag me though i beg of you i want to see it
