#eliot posts #toh #toh spoilers #the owl house #amity blight #also it appears to have gotten lighter in addition to the roots. not even witches are safe from the peril of semi permanent hair dye.#though tbh i've kinda grown to enjoy seeing my dye fade and the colours shift. adds some variety to my appearance.#and getting to re-dye is actually kinda fun #re-bleaching the roots is Terrible though #sometimes i just put new dye over brown roots and it doesn't match the rest of the hair but it's Close Enough to not be that noticeable #season 2 episode 2 in which amity decides to dye her own hair and stains camila's sink ourple #and the rest of the episode is her trying to clean it #im assuming her not touching up her dye is like she misses her siblings and doesn't wanna do that without them there. for Emotional Reasons #just like not wanting her hair to be all green so putting that off #but i can still poke fun #she is like a little sister to me. i love her but sometimes i gotta dunk on her.

Made some easy meat tomato sauce for dinner and mmmmm even though the tomato part was pre-done it was still so so good and satisfying. Look

So filling. So delicious

#ghostly posts #food #I say 'easy' but it took me like two hours because I had to clean the counter and the stove and the pan and spatula for the sauce #and then chop garlic and onions (and then realize there are no more onions) and add mini sweet peppers #and then I dug around the potato drawer (weird) and found a shallot so I chopped that up. and I did it all super fine to avoid large chunks #in the sauce cause I'm picky abt that I guess #then you gotta cook the meat most of the way and then add the veggies and cook That for a while and then add the tomato sauce and cook and #season all that and make sure you can boil some moisture out of it without burning the sauce #anyway. there were a lot of steps but I simplified it a little by using pre made tomato sauce #my favorite kind = Newman's own organic marinara. my parents used to get it a lot growing up #so it's a bit comforting #takes me back to an era where I was really young. before I got really sensitive to tomatoes like I am now #(still made and ate this sauce because it's good)

So a little more lore for ya, there's the Hero World and the Villain Underground. Both have their set of rules but the main thing I'm working on is how they hire people to further a non-existent cause because they both want to make money. The Hero World frames it as the greater good and all of that jazz while The Villain Underground just go "Yeah we just want to make tons of cash! No point in hiding how evil we are cuz that's the whole deal."

Both of them source their weapons and materials from two powerful companies. Angelic Glory and Hellish Retribution, both of the CEO's of said companies are very aware of each other. Gabriel Nightshade and something called The All Mother work together to unify the world with order. Because they're actually married to each other and both of them are corporate evil.

The Hero World has Gabriel "rehabilitate" captured villain to "use them for the grater good". Gabriel is happy to do this and turns them into drones, however they aren't typical and mindless. They keep their human personalites while also being completely and utterly obedient to Gabriel or AM, they don't ever question their loyalty to those two specific powers. The Hero companies don't actually ever have proper control over the drones and what usually ends up happening is Gabriel finds Heros they want to break, frame them, and then bend their will.

Nothing in this world is truly for the greater good, it's just a bunch of people scrapping for power while being slowly brainwashed and turned into acolytes by horrors beyond their comprehension.
