GOJO kisses you like it’s the last thing he’ll ever do. He’s suave about it, wrapping an arm around your waist and giving you his signature pretty-boy smirk before leaning in and pressing his lips against yours. He’s passionate, but not too forceful, and he has a way of flustering you despite having done this a thousand times. Occasionally (read: almost every single time) he’ll get a bit frisky, taking you in both arms and dipping you slightly as he gently catches your plump bottom lip in his teeth or swipes his tongue along the edge of it. The experience is dizzying, and by the end of it you’re always bright red from ear to ear.

NANAMI's kisses are more a bit more chaste. They're best described as sweet - he's not trying to overwhelm you with passion, but you can feel the quiet adoration and his underlying love for you in even the quickest pecks. The best ones are when he's just gotten home from work, not even bothering to shed his coat or shoes before seeking you out. When he finds you, inevitably curled up on the couch or working on something in the kitchen, he'll envelop you in a warm embrace from behind before gently slipping a hand underneath your jaw to cup your face, softly pressing his lips to yours as you melt into each other.

TOJI's kisses are rough. Gentleness doesn’t come easy to a man like Toji, but he’s not trying to throw you around, either. When he kisses you, it’s pure dominance, smashing his lips against yours and squeezing your waist between two large hands. You’ll typically have to initiate, but the second he knows it’s coming he’s taken over the situation and made you his once again. Your favorite is when his tough-guy demeanor has softened a bit and he allows you to sidle up next to him, big doe eyes silently pleading as you look up at him, urging him to take you in his arms and kiss you. When he complies, it’s much more reserved, almost gentle, and you don’t think you’d mind leaving his more forceful displays of affection in the past if this is what’s been available the whole time.

YUJI’s kisses are messy and unpracticed, but he's clearly so adorably excited to be with you that you don't mind. You’ll have to lead while he finds his footing, but once he’s figured out how to position his head, he’s softly planting lingering pecks on you, unable to get rid of the smile that stretches his cheeks so taut that it almost hurts. He’ll seek you out anywhere, anytime - it doesn’t matter if you cross his mind for a fraction of a second, he’s immediately seeking you out with the intent of pulling you into a quiet corner. He’ll brush your hair out of your face, flashing you a lopsided smile of nervous excitement before leaning into you, kissing you deeply before pulling away to get a look at your flushed cheeks and grin before diving right back in.

MEGUMI's kisses are shy, almost hesitant. He's the type of person that has to warm up to you every time it happens, starting off stiff with an air of uncertainty before eventually melting into you the way he wants to. He's not the type to be all over you all the time, but you can always count on a kiss goodnight from him. You'll both be curled up in bed, ready to pass out for the night, but he always makes sure to brush his lips against yours for a lingering kiss before the two of you fall asleep. It's warm and soft, and although he usually acts stoic and unfeeling, you're giddy that you get to know the real, unguarded version of him through these sweet little moments.

INO’s kisses are a bit boisterous - not because he's trying to be, but because he's over the moon to be able to do this with you at all. He usually tries to be slick about it, sweet talking you and creeping a hand up the small of your back beforehand, but he’s easily flustered and tends to melt into you the minute your lips touch. He’s eager, smashing his lips against yours in a way that makes it all too clear how much he wants you, and when he pulls away for some oxygen you can see the deep blush blooming across his cheeks. Sometimes (usually after a mission or when he’s exhausted) you’ll get a softer, even sweeter Ino, where your lips will meet with feather-light touches, warm and soft and impossibly saccharine, and when he comes up for air he’ll press his forehead against yours, with him meeting your eyes with a look of absolute adoration.

Can't help but imagine that in the Lucky Clover AU, if Frisk were to manage to sneak away and end up befriending Undyne and the skelebros whilst everyone in the Dunes is probably having a panic attack (maybe Flowey caused a distraction or something, like some scaffolding collapsing causing everyone to focus on figuring out how that happened, giving Frisk the ability to sneak away), by the time Martlet finds them they've already managed to make the Underground a bit safer for at least themself.

Doesn't stop them from being grounded though-

That's exactly the plot set up I had in mind for this AU!

Even though Frisk is under very strict rules by Clover to not leave the Dunes without them, Frisk is constantly wandering off (perhaps influenced by a certain someone...) and exploring the other parts of the Underground. This is how Frisk eventually meets Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Alphys, and others! And yes, Frisk is always grounded by Clover once they're eventually found and brought home. Doesn't stop them from sneaking out again, though. Clover is getting a taste of their own medicine trying to control this kid LOL.

Friends With Benefits Miguel, who hates the idea of being so intimately close and mangle with such complicated, bothersome feelings of endearment and commitment. So he does everything in his power to make sure you both agree and condemn to the terms of his little agreement of just being fuck buddies.

Until he realizes that you finally had enough of having your heart and soul utterly shattered after every heated, emotionless fuck session.

Completely seethes at the sight of you ignoring his calls, turning your back on him when he needed you — watches that brimming, refreshed smile on your face glimmer with such ease and contentment. As though nothing ever happened between the two of you.

Gives you a week to see if anything changes.

But nothing has. Not in the slightest.

He had hoped you would come back to him. Back into his big, strong arms and weighted, stocky body. To spill out your entirety to him in the most vulnerable state. To share your embracing, tender presence with him. To weigh in his own personal, salacious leisure.

His eyes would soften and shallow out with the sight of you finally being honestly happy. Watching you gradually move on without the beck and call of his desperation for a need of "stress relief" and last resort entanglement.

Breaks his heart to finally see you being completely happy and indubitably enthralled with someone that wasn't him. That could actually give you the love and adoration that you solely craved the most.

Aaaa I feel like I'm not as chatty as I once was on here. Been a bit all over the place! Also feel silly making a ton of text posts with no art so I try and limit how often I blab on here.

[I find the specific phrasing of "Everyone recognises that her job is sacred" from Dehya to be particularly interesting. As this implies that it's not just the people of Aaru Village who hold Candace in high esteem but her role as a Guardian/Warrior is also recognised by outside parties like Eremite Mercenaries.

This lends credence to the near reverence of those rumours (her being a direct descendent of Al-Ahmar) being spread, how a lot of desert folk appear to both respect but also hold fear towards angering/disappointing her.

I have also noticed that there's behaviour similar to reflecting and confessing your sins/mistakes to a priest which stands out also as people subconsciously equating her to possessing the role of being closer represenation to/of the divine.

Then there is also the fact that Candace's own speech patterns seem to have changed too. As a general observation, she speaks in very descriptive/prose-like ways (ie; Golden eye of the sun etc). In the past, she loosely references the Dendro archon and Al-ahmar in ways that acknowledge the possibility that maybe her vision etc are blessings from them but clarifies that even without, she would still be willing to do her duty all the same etc. She neither brings them up favourably nor hatefully.

Yet now, she directly brings up the gods and uses them to absolve others of their conflicting emotions. Does this mean she's now more comfortable in placing more trust in the divine after nahida's arc? Does it mean her role as a Guardian causes people to form a parasocial relationship with her that they see her both as a person but also closer to godhood? It's already established she doesn't go out of her way to disprove the rumours and uses it to her advantage but now she seems leaning into it more when it comes to others and that's notable to me.

This is just me flinging spaghetti on the wall as usual and tormenting myself over what it all means but vIGOROUS GESTURING]
