I will say that I think ethical breeding as veered from "we should produce healthy, sound, stable animals from parents who are healthy, sound, and stable" to "anything not a purebred is inherently unethical and should not exist". I'm not sure how much of it is online virtue signaling, but enough of it is to make me roll my eyes.
Come on, y'all. I'm sure my health testing working mix is sooo much more unethical than your byb purebred Frenchie.

i am all for a free palestine and i want a ceasefire but the guilt tripping from westerners especially for enjoying things, and by this i mean im literally seeing tiktoks and videos of people (white americans) shaming people saying "this isn't where your focus should be" for dancing, going to concerts, listening to music, taking part in a hobby.
and like??? bro we should talk about palestine but it's also okay to talk about palestine and share AND enjoy your life. if you only focused on the bad the entirety of your life you'd literally be depressed. it's okay to find a fucking balance.
to be like "im not okay and you shouldnt be either" is absolute bullshit and it's only coming from white westerners its pissing me off😭

Maybe this is just me having a kids get off my lawn moment, but every time I see something along the lines of "racists DNI," I wonder what the venn diagram between self-identified racists and scrupulous respecters of DNIs looks like.

someone: the internet isn't real life! you need to go out and socialise with actual people! get off your laptop and touch grass!
me, a chronically ill/disabled person who is largely housebound, and has to do most of my socialising virtually out of sheer necessity: gee thanks! i hate it

Emily Wilson, 38, allegedly fired a gun into a mattress during argument
Husband called the cops and Wilson was arrested for domestic violence
Local paper reports Wilson is a high school teacher who coaches tennis
A Maine woman was arrested for domestic violence while wearing a 'Stop Domestic Violence' t-shirt.
Emily Wilson, 38, allegedly fired a gun into a mattress during an argument with her husband, the Bangor Daily News reported.
Prosecutors said Wilson and her husband got into an argument April 18 in the bedroom of their Sangerville home.
Angry that her husband was allegedly having an affair, Wilson produced a .45 caliber handgun, waved it around, and fired a shot into a mattress, the Daily News reported.
The husband called the Piscataquis County sheriff's office, and the case was later picked up by Maine state police for investigation.
Investigators seized the woman's gun and a shell casing recovered under the bed as evidence, the Daily News reported.
Wilson was charged with domestic violence reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault, a criminal complaint shows.
She walked out of jail on $200 cash bail, the Daily News reported.
Wilson is a high school teacher who also coaches tennis and field hockey, according to the Daily News.
If convicted on the weapons charge, she faces up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. If convicted on the assault charge, she faces up to one year behind bars and a $2,000 fine.

What have we learned?
Women can be as violent as men.
Those who virtue signal are deflecting from their own guilt.

i think the solution to seeing more of the content about your specific kind of trans existence to follow blogs that actually post about it instead of expecting different trans ppl to cater to you. tumblr is not activism and ppl are allowed to do whatever they want on their personal tumblrs, so like??? i am not expecting a trans girl to blog about transmasc experiences and vice versa. it is not a "denial of resources" and it is not oppression to not be blogged about on Tumblr Dot Com. this is literally just a little journal. we're not changing the world, we're venting or posting about things we like. allow others their space. "waaah there's too much x on my dash, why aren't they posting about y" why do you follow people who only post about x then, why aren't you following the million blogs that post about y? it's tumblr. we're not running out of space. there is room for all of us, so curate your dash and stop whining.

prev anon again, I wasn't associating you with them or anything. I just remembered your name being on that list they posted so figured you should know they're posting again. I don't care about them but they're delusional and deserve to get run off here, Eden wouldn't evdb remotely like them lmfao. Don't care about what happened just think we as a community should take out the trash y'know? Not a single person here even likes them, they should go bother another fandom 🙄
Okay you're just being meanspirited, no wait that's too light- you're being an ASS, who are you, the police? It's not for you or anyone to police how a community should act, and being hung over how they need to get run off (happened already) is just pretty scummy of you.
Like, you're the type of person who only cares about being morally correct instead of doing anything helpful to solve the issues, the kind that seems like they basically get off seeing 'problematic people' get cancelled.
If you don't care about what happened then you don't care about the actual impact it caused between the people involved, like I said, you only care about being correct and have no actual heart for the person you're targeting, you don't even BOTHER to get to know their situation just that you hear that they suck and echo what you hear you unorignal mimic.

you know, those "you need to support weird off-putting people! even weird people who do [list of behaviors!]" posts backfire sometimes. More than once I've read one and seen [behavior i do that I thought was innocuous/normal] and realized that actually op considers that weird and off-putting.
Like I was fine before but now you've made me feel self-conscious and judged about it. But hey at least you're supporting me, right?

I just gotta say it somewhere, so the world knows. I fucking hate Trisha Paytas and I'm tired of people acting like her transgressions are dismissed just cause she had a fucking baby.
She had a prolific past of being a PIECE OF SHIT, and acting like motherhood absolves that is like borderline patriarchal, fundamentalist nonsense. People do not become morally enlightened just because they have kids. She's established a pattern of behavior of being a fetishizing, trend hopping, virtue signaling clout goblin. The amount of people who don't seem to be familiar with her trolling past is INSANE.
I wholeheartedly believe she's an abusive person who stumbled onto a popular podcast, emotionally (and physically. Let's not forget she hit Moses) abused everyone around her (especially targeting other women) and somehow came out ontop in terms of public opinion just cause she's a pretty girl. Enough.
Speaking of Moses, remember when he was metoo-ed and Trisha straight up denied the allegations on his behalf, while constantly touting herself as a "believer of victims," considering she's one, herself? Not when it comes to her husband I guess. Those women MUST be lying.
And another thing. She is NOT an ally to the queer or trans community. She uses trans identity as a trend. Let's not forget the chicken nugget bullshit. Or the time she publicly supported Mitt Romney... or when she supported trump? Don't fall for her bullshit, don't let her use her children for social media engagement. She has no actual values. She is a chameleon in every sense of the word, besides the literal, because then I might actually like her.
