Townie Makeover: Young Jacques Villareal

As some of you might know I have two story ideas I put on indefinite hiatus for now. Since I have no problem messing up EA's timelines, here's younger Jacques from my second story idea Forbidden Fruit.

Jacques Villareal, alleged crime lord, widower, and single father of three. Best buddy of businessman and founder of Straud Pharmaceuticals Count Vladislaus Straud. Lately, both are often seen at Oasis Springs's new hot spot: Lord Vaughn's Solar Flare.

I don't know why, but the first CG reminds me of the second from Dracula. It's completely different story, but since yesterday I wonder where I saw the CG.

Also, if you haven't heard of the Forbidden fruit app yet, I recommend it. They only have 4 stories, but they are really good. The choices greatly affect the storyline, which is often very different based on, what you've chosen.

They have stories that don't remind me of stories from other apps (except this picture of course 🤣). Also the english is really good.

Are you named after anyone? My middle name Vittorio was chosen for one of my ancestors. He is said to be the founder of our family over at Brindleton Bay.

When was the last time you cried? I have been crying so much over the past few months I lost track.

Do you have kids? No, not yet.

Do you use sarcasm? Only with people who understand I am being sarcastic.

What is the first thing you notice about people? How firm their handshake is if they do shake my hand. If they wear rings, bangles, or a watch. Their voice. How they smell.

What is your eye color? Blue-gray.

Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies, absolutely.

Any special talents? I know how to use echolocation.

What are your hobbies? Swimming, cooking, and playing the piano.

Have you any pets? Unfortunately not. But I would love to have a dog.

What sports do you play/have played? I am a competitive swimmer. I won multiple competitions and championships and almost made it to the Paralympics. I am still mad that I caught that stupid infection back then.

I know objectively the next part of the scene, where Sofia teaches Katya how to each a pomegranate and tells her about the mythology of Persephone and Hades and the pomegranate juice stains Katya’s suit is the more iconic part, and for good reason, but like, especially considering how feral we’ve all gotten about the resurgence of this movie this past week, I couldn’t help but dig up an old copy of the script to emphasize that last line, which I feel like we’ve definitely been skipping over in our discourse.

"WHAT DID HE LOOK LIKE, AGAIN?" Lilea questions, lifting herself up on to the counter behind me.

Blonde hair, blue eyes and a killer smile.

"I've told you atleast a dozen times already," I answer, attaching the red lead to Judes collar.

Lilea sips at her hot chocolate, fingers wrapping around the steaming mug, "Tell me again,"

I sigh, she sure knows how to get me talking.

But, there isn't a lot more to say without repeating myself. He is just a stranger who just so happened to be around the corner holding a boiling cup of coffee. They do say, your miracle could be just around the corner though.

Jude jumps up, paws landing on my leg, which she scratches at desperately, trying to hurry me up.

"Blonde hair, blue eyes and... did I mention, he dumped coffee down me?"

Lilea sat the mug down, beside her, "Hey, if he dumped coffee over me, I'd thank him,"

"Even if he ruined your favourite jumper?" I ask, standing up.

She thinks for a moment, before shaking her head, "Only if its the green one,"

Course

From the dish, I hook out my keys, "I hate to cut this short, Lilea but if we want those marshmallows..."

At this, she perks up. Jumping down from the counter, she gives Jude a quick pat on the head, "Pink marshmallows - the giant ones," She grins.

Judes quick to take off towards the door, her lead tugging me in that direction too.

"How giant is giant?" I tease, a smile pulling at the corners of my lips.

She sighs, shooing Jude and I off, "Bye, Eden,"

Lilea shuts the door behind us and Jude scratches at the floor as she tugs me down the stairs. A small corridor follows, past the flower shop where the lights have been flipped off.

I slot another key into the lock, unlocking the door then step outside. I then have to lock back up... again.

Jude jumps up, yapping and enthusiasticly scratching my legs.

"Calm it kermit," I mutter, tucking the keys into my bag.

The streets are now for the most part quiet. Or as quiet as small town streets can get. Its dark and so the street lamps and fairy lights have been turned on. Autumnal decorations wind along fences, signs and light up windowsills.

The odd few pumpkins sit on the doorsteps of those sort of peoples houses who leave their Christmas decorations up all year. Theres still a while to go until October 31st but everyone in this godforsaken town act as if its not only tomorrow, but the next bestthing after Christmas.

It's not like im Scrooging on Halloween or anything, after all, its the only time that I can dress up as an axe murderer and it appears somewhat okay. But this town and the majority of its inhabitants are ever so slightly insane. Just a tiny bit. I don't include myself on this list. Lilea, however...

The recognisable ringtone of my phone echoes loudly through the empty streets.

Wonder who it could be...

I'll give you three guesses.

"Hey, Mum," I answer, bringing my phone up to my ear but regretting it almost instantly.

"Eden! You are coming for dinner next Sunday, aren't you?" She questions, voice catching on every. single. nerve in my head.

I think all Mothers should come with a warning. °Cannot understand technology and believes that yelling through a phone solves world hunger°

"Eden? You can hear me can't you?"

I sigh, "That depends, try shouting a little louder,"

She huffs, "Well, are you coming or not?"

I have to choose my next words carefuly.

"I should be able to, I'll have to check with Mauve though,"

"Surely, you can get the day off they work you ever so hard it would've been ever so different if you'd have stayed up here,"

I find myself mouthing her word for word.

"Yes well, I happen to like my job," I mumble.

"Coralie supposes you don't, she often tells me abou-"

Out of the corner of my eye, I spy Bryony, the towns resident crazy lady. If anyone was crazy enough to be out, dressed up to the nines whilst walking a cat, it was her. Jude notices too.

"Should I give Michelle a call and ask her then?"

I am entirely lost in the conversation.

"Give Michelle a call about what?"

Jude begins to growl, tugging at her lead as she watches Bryony and her cat prance down the other side of the street.

"Weren't you listening? About Louis accompanying you to Dinner on Sunday," She states.

Louis Cabot

Lileas older brother who I had a short lived Summer romance with years ago. My Mother remains to this day thoroughly convinced that there is some spark between us. However the last time I spoke to him must have been a year or so ago and the two of us had decided to remain friends long ago. To top it off, he is engaged.

"Mum, I'm quite sure Louis is happy accompanying his fiancée to Dinner,"

"Fiancée? Michelle hasn't told me, who told you?" She demands clearly getting into a fluster.

Jude begins yapping at the old woman and her cat.

"What are you doing, have you got that tv on or is it the dog?"

Byrony and her cat pass, turning the corner.

"Just gone for a walk thats all," I reply,

My bag slips from my shoulder, which I reach to adjust, I lean my phone on my shoulder and against my ear adnd go to pull my bag up.

Jude has other ideas.

She yanks me foward and my phone falls to the path.

In my horror, I lunge for my phone, gasping and hardly noticing how I loosen the grip on Judes lead.

And... there goes my dog.

I'm not usually one to be dramatic, that is unless the real houswives of Cheshire happens to come on.

Its chaos. Pure and utter chaos.

I scoop up the remains of my phone and push it into my pocket, before taking off after Jude as she boundes after Bryony and her cat.

For once in my life, I am glad I'm not wearing heels. My dignity is to be preserved.

I follow her through the dark streets, but she is so much faster than me.

Damn it, Jude

The barking stops and I round the corner.

There better be a miracle around this one too.

"You're a sweet thing aren't you," I recognise the voice.

Its him - the man from yesterday.

There he is, kneeling down and petting Jude who's body wiggles as her tail wags so happily.

He looks up.

"Its you!" We both exclaim in unison.

A smirk tugs at his lips, "Yours, I presume?"

I nod, slightly shocked at the scene before me.

"... Jude," He mumbles, turning over her little bone shaped name tag in his hand.

"Are you following me?" My question is abrupt and he looks up from her tag with a small smirk tugging at his lips.

"Y'think I'm following you?" He asks.

I nod, "You caught my dog,"

He shakes his head, blonde pieces falling into his eyes as he does so.

"Y'dog caught me actually,"

Caught him?

"I'm not followin' you, just went for a walk is all," He adds.

I bend down, picking up Judes red lead and land directly opposite him.

"Do I get a name now?" I ask, posing the question innocently.

"Y"wanna know the name of your savior?" He laughs, looking over at the lit up buildings opposite.

"Wouldn't go as far as saviour," I mumble.

He stands up, taking my hand and pulling me up with him, "Austin,"

He shakes my hand as our fingers are already touching.

Austin

"Now, I've been thinkin', it's not likely we'll run into eachother a third time," He begins, hand falling back down to his coat pocket as he lets go of mine.

"Maybe not,"

"And, as you're a very pretty girl, who for obvious reasons can only be a Princess,"

Princess?

Is he flirting?

He's flirting isn't he

"A Princess?" I ask, picking Jude up and wrapping her small body closer to mine.

"Y'got an animal sidekick - only makes sense," He shrugs.

"Mussolini had a pet lion as a sidekick, does that make him a Princess too?" I couldn't help it.

His smile drops quickly.

"Moving on, don't suppose you could tell me when your free?" He stuffs his hands in his coat pockets.

"How about Tuesday?" I ask.

He nods, "Tuesday I can do, any specific time or place?"

"Meet me outside Thorns, you know where that is right?" I check.

"I'll find it, how's four o'clock sound?"

I nod, "Sounds good, Austin," I give him my best smile.

"Alright then, Miss Eden, I'll be seein' you Tuesday," He laughs, "And Jude... keep y'Mama out of trouble,"
