i went back for my first braces checkup post operation and the progress is going well! also today i got an offer from the university of sydney (for psych honours) and you guys have no idea how happy and relieved i am. this is going to be a very new and exciting chapter for me!

Posting old photos I took while working in studio. Treated myself to a coffee and donut to keep myself motivated to work through this final stretch of my architecture thesis!

🌧️ day 12: do you have any studying methods you use? if so, share them with us (please *sobs*)!

i'm the kind of person who studies sitting down for hours with little breaks, so idk how useful my advice will be. the main points of my study system are:

stay at the library if you are desperate/need to finish quickly

forest app in intervals of at least one hour and a half.

lots of coffee/energy drinks

headphones off but covering your ears

go through your class notes, do every exercise/annotate in the material given by the professor the things you wrote down in class. this is the most important thing but it requires that you really pay attention in class everyday.

extra exercises after, for as long as you can.

failing an exam is not a big deal, focus in doing as much as you can without worrying if it will be enough, if it isn't the knowledge you gained will make it easier to pass the class later.

01/10/2023 :: had a very productive weekend! finally got round to adding a colour key to my copy of atonement and gatsby. also had a lot of fun drawing complex ions >:D they're just so pretty..

the weather has been quite muggy and sad so i've been wistfully looking at my pictures of summer skies :( been busy with finalising university applications (!!!) and trying not to get cold feet about applying to medicine - the first nervousness about it i've felt in.. months !!
