5 tips to increase concentration while studying
If you are not able to control your mind while studying and your mind can't focus on one thing, You should think of a solution for it. If you do not concentrate while studying, you will not understand the meaning of the material and your time will be wasted. Because the human mind is always trying to occupy itself with something. If we engage our mind in studying at the beginning of the work, the mind cannot be busy elsewhere. There are strategies to increase focus that may be different for all students. In this article, we provide solutions so that you can focus on studying and reduce procrastination while studying. Benefits of being focused: •Memory Improvement
Increasing productivity and efficiency •Peace of mind
Increasing the speed of study
Increase the power of the mind Factors that cause distraction while studying:
Thoughts •Social Networks •contacts •Web browsing
Television •checking E-mail •Noise •imagination 5 ways to increase concentration Planning: If you plan before studying, you are several steps ahead of your goal. Make a detailed plan and if you can't complete the whole plan, there is no problem. But try to stick to that plan as much as possible. Read quickly: If you are involved in mental factors of distraction and while studying your mind wanders all over the world but does not pay attention to the lesson, you should take help from speed reading. When you study faster, your mind will not have room to escape from the lesson. single task: Often you may like to do several things at the same time to save time. But this is a wrong thing to do. Because a busy mind does not have a high performance. Multitasking only reduces your learning power. So every time you do something just focus on it and after finishing it, move on to the next task. For example, when you study, just study and when you rest, just relax and don't think about studying. Brief reading: In the Brief reading method, the reader organizes the content and then he determines the purpose of his study and estimates the amount of study time and the difficulty level of the book and then through questioning, he increases his curiosity, interest, accuracy and concentration. Choosing the right place to study: In fact, the first thing that can help you to increase concentration is the place where you study. Because it has a great impact on how you focus. To achieve the highest level of concentration, choose the appropriate place to study.

Health
In college life, it is important to stay healthy physically and mentally in order for us to focus on our studies. We should eat healthy food, we should exercise daily and have enough rest
According to healthline (2015) University is an exciting time for students. But as their world opens up to new adventures and opportunities, many health hazards surround them.
A study held by Psychiatric Times (2009), students’ self-reports seem no more reassuring. According to the most recent American College Health Association survey, about 13% of students reported having symptoms of anxiety, and more than 18% reported depression symptoms.5 Almost 15% had received a diagnosis of depression sometime in their lives; 25% reported problems with their studies as a result of sleep problems; 33% acknowledged stress-related problems; 43% said they felt so depressed at some point in the academic year that it was difficult to function; 10% had seriously considered suicide; and 1.9% had attempted suicide. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse.
As stated by Monro (2016), here are the good ways to take care of our health:
Always stay healthy while studying. Sleep well, reduce junk food and alcohol, and exercise well. Staying healthy makes it easier to deal with the stress you may face.

I've never had to learn at home bc I've always remembered everything from the lessons. Now I started high-school and it went out that it's a lot harder than I expected. The first time in my life I started having problems with catching up. I often have meltdowns bc I feel overwhelmed by the amount of material we have to learn by ourselfs at home. I don't even know how am I suposed to study at home bc I've never done it. Do you maybe have any tips on studying and dealing with meltdowns?
We have study tips here: http://askanautistic.co.uk/tagged/study%20tipsMeltdown tips here: http://askanautistic.co.uk/search/coping+with+meltdownsThere are lots of study blogs you could look up (a couple I follow are smartstudy and autstudy) that post experiences, advice and resources.Try to timetable study time and structure things so that you can get into a routine. Make sure you schedule break time as well so that you don’t burn yourself out studying.Speak to your school about accommodations to help you to cope with the workload. This might include having someone help you learn how to study/develop a timetable/plan what you’ll study, as well as more practical support in school to make sure you’re getting the most out of your lessons (so that you’re better able to study things later) such as a notetaker, or your tutor implementing better/different teaching methods. There might be an option for you to have some help catching up with things you’ve fallen behind in.

Help! I am in an art slump. I can't find any motivation in learning how to draw, and I feel so lazy every time I sit down to draw. Can you give me some tips on how to improve my art while having fun and enjoying the process of it? xxx
Loooong post, under cut
(Also, this has been sitting in my drafts for I don’t even know how long. I’M SORRY I really am terrible)
I’m not sure I’m the right person to tell you what to do because, uhm, I am SUPER lazy when it comes to studying and getting out my comfort zone. However, I can see that I’ve learned a lot just drawing things I liked every day; I’ve never spent much time studying anatomy every day like everyone says you should (and you should, but it can get SUPER boring). But I’ve been drawing fanarts, and other projects I made for school, and I got better and better without even noticing. The funny thing about this is you can constantly raise the bar as time passes, and your eye gets more and more critical and experienced. So at first you strive to be as skilled as young self-learned artists on the internet, because you don’t think you can do what they do; but in time, you will start comparing your work to that of real professionists. In fact, one thing that keeps helping me a lot is referencing from other artists, their styles and the way they “solve problems”. You can learn a lot by just occasionally picking difficult poses or environments or coloring ideas for your illustrations.
To sum that up: my advice is to generally keep drawing what you like, however you like, not worrying too much about perfection; that will come by itself. Just worry about doing the best you can with every drawing. If you’re not comfortable with studying, don’t force yourself to do it, or you might end up not drawing anything at all. It can be quite frustrating when you’re not feeling the inspiration and you just feel to draw anything.Instead, while drawing fanart and things you enjoy and have fun with, try to push yourself to make it look the nicest you can. Improvements are guaranteed to come in time :)
This were my two cents about learning art, and my own experience. If you don’t mind further blather by me, I gave similar (but not identical) answers in other previous posts, which you can check in my art tips tag:

Students should not study before reading this article!
One of the main skills that students need is time management skills. If you are a student and you are confused about your homework and you can't get it and you don't have time to do it, come with us to learn ways to manage your time to study, especially during exams, by reading this article. It takes 5 minutes to read this article. If you are interested in the subject of time management in everyday life, do not miss our comprehensive article on time management. Benefits of time management for students In general, the meaning of time management is to use 24 hours of the day and night intelligently so that we know which work should be done at what time.
For some examples of these benefits, the following can be mentioned:
1. Reduce stress 2. Increase productivity 3. Improving the quality of the study 4. Increasing self-confidence 5. Increasing the motivation to learn 6. Faster achievement of goals 7. Better decision making
Read more: Students should not read before reading this article !
1. Making a list of daily activities
The first step to improving time management is to create a list of daily activities. Many students have the habit of doing their work in the last minutes with anxiety and without quality, and this causes the quality of the study to decrease and you have to repeat it. But if you have a list on your to-do list and Know the start and end time of the work, reduce your waste of time to zero by doing the work at the specified time. For this, it is enough to prepare a notebook and write down your daily tasks based on priority and set a deadline for each task. But this method is a bit old and classic, in the following, we suggest an easier and better method.
2. Study blocks
Use a period or the so-called study block to study. Intervals between 30 and 40 minutes are ideal blocks to focus on the study topic. But you can change these intervals based on your needs and abilities, in between these intervals you can rest or have a snack for about 10 or 15 minutes. This method of using time is called the Pomodoro technique. To read more, you can read the article about Pomodoro.
3. Avoiding procrastination
To avoid procrastination while studying, it is better to look for methods that can make studying enjoyable for you. For procrastination, keep in mind that not all methods are always suitable for all people. One of the ways to prevent procrastination is to find the answers to these questions; Where do I focus more? Where are my distractions the most? o What things make reading more enjoyable for you?
4. Find your most productive time
Everyone has high energy and efficiency at a certain time during the day and night. Some people have more energy early in the morning and prefer to study in the morning, and others find it difficult to wake up in the morning, but they can stay up late at night, maybe it is better for these people to study at night. So, by knowing the time of productivity, try to do your important work, including studying, during these hours.

Socialization
The new form of socialization in college life is video call oe online school learning. Due to covid19 pandemic, we are not allowed to have face to face classes that’s why we have classes virtually. We interact with our classmates and teachers through chat, email, video call and virtual meetings to share ideas or do collaborative school works.
Studying with other students in the same class is a great way to help each other improve their grades. You will also be more motivated and will be able to help each other with things you may not understand. (Monro, 2016)
Due to lockdown and face to face is prohibited, collaboration and group study is done through online interaction.

Study motivation #1
Sometimes it can be more difficult to find motivation to start or finish studying. For these times i’ve made a list of things that can help you in those moments!
• Write a todo list • Create a Notion dashboard You can really customize this to fit your needs • Write out everything you need to do • Create a study plan When you know what to do and when to do it, you get to it faster. • Follow study insta accounts/blogs Following motivational accounts (like this one!) can really help boost your motivation. • Study in the library • Study at home • Create a study music playlist • Listen to nature sounds Having a nature playlist ready could really help maintain your focus. • Take breaks • Turn off your phone • Skip social media while studying Social media is known to be distracting, let alone when you need to do important tasks. • No distractions Put your phone either on silent or away from where you’re studying, the notifications can be really distracting and get you out of focus.
• Have drinks and snacks ready This is a great way to be prepared for smaller breaks in between!
• Keep your desk empty This will keep you from distraction.
