There's nothing wrong with feeling fickle over a design for your self insert, I don't think anyone has ever made any kind of original character and stuck with their design forever. Designs change and grow as you change and grow, and that's beautiful to me :] Don't feel bad that you change your self insert the second an idea strikes, or inspiration smacks you upside the head, you can change your self insert however you'd like and whenever you'd like!

idk if this is a hot take but I don't think Armin is friendly. I think people find him generally off-putting. Like, people think he looks sweet, but also find him strange; for the topics that interest him, the way he didn't stray far from Eren (& Mikasa) socially, and his general demeanor.

I think that as Armin established himself more as he grew up, he developed better interpersonal skills that compliment his rhetorical prowess. I think he's the type of person who sees value in life and in minimizing harm. He offers kindness to his friends and understanding to all. But I don't see him as particularly "friendly"

When I first watched atla I was still around 5 maybe. And even though I didn't have a brain at that time, when we re-watched it I remembered liking Taang as little bebe (wow even as a kid i didn't like some canon ships huh? guess i had a brain after all )

Also! Read this amazing fanfiction that I based this drawing from! (sometimes the link thing don't work so I'll put the link in the comments) I chose it over sleep and now it has reawakened my Taang heart <3
