game collection ramble~~~
wonder which games I'm gonna need to download a rom of and play on the computer... or play on steam assuming i buy the steam versions too...
rpgs in general have some kinda small text~~~ I hope if it does come down to me having to do that to play my games it's not a crime or something; cause as a teen emulation didn't bug me but after I got really worried and scared about torrenting stuff, I've kinda lost it for emulation too...... (I've posted about this before i think)
where do I even start with megaten? I'm not exactly that big on (or good at potentially) juggling my time with social links... but it could be fun~~~
current games I have just bc i like collecting things:
persona 1-4 golden (vita) might have persona 5 but idr i have the artbook somewhere tho~~~
devil surviviors (overclocked and 2 3ds)
strange journey redux (sadly not og cause I heard that one's better (3ds))
Shin Megami Tensei iv and apocalypse (3ds)
nocturne remaster (switch; which is garbage cause minor nit pick i like the text in the older version and the lighting, lol but also raidou in switch version i think)
devil children light book and dark book (gba) how obscure were these ones?
and that's it to my knowledge.... I think I dug through my files of (extra content) on my 3ds after looking through all the games and it says I have Persona Q data there but I don't have the game installed and bought it digitally.... guess I made room for something else and now can't redownload it if I bought it cause the 3ds servers and eshop have been dead for a while....
also had Persona 1 and the earlier games started but for some reason my vita decided to spit up a screen after my battery died for idk how long and deleted everything I had for some reason.... thx vita..... had to reformat and redownload everything ~~~
(collects games... never plays the games...... I'm also the same way with books...)
hate how rpg interfaces are kinda small~~~~ but I'm the blind one so that's a me problem~~~
rip persona q forever lost in the void bc I can't redownload you~~~
I've loved this franchise for a while~~ but haven't played any of the games at all.... Just collected the games and some stuff~~ don't really even remember how I found it tbh~~~
idk if it's a text and sight issue on my part or just anxiety about playing something new~~?? which I've just made a post on actually, lol. could be all of the above~~
might need to emulate cause as I've said on this blog; I'm disabled. Legally blind and the text in RPGs is usually too small for my good eye to read, so I'd need either emulation to read the text or to play older rpgs with bigger more readable text...
the limit of 30 tags on this website is dumb cause now I can't put the (visually impaired) tags there....
tldr; don't know where to start with megami tensei, and just wanted to share my game collection~~ of this franchise specifically, lol
i hope this post isn't near as scattered as I think it is. the bad part is if it is in fact scattered and hard to follow; I'm not even tired yet and completely competent to my knowledge....
just scatterbrained i guess~~~ idk..... and super excited to share my megami tensei game collection~~ however small it may be~~~

I’ve spoken these thoughts before in less complete form, but I guess it’s time to put it all together in more or less coherent form: the Khofar massacre serves its storytelling purpose as the Brendok massacre redux, an explosive resurfacing of the violence in Sol’s past that he has refused to reckon with and has instead suppressed and displaced onto the shoulders of the woman he is trying to stalk through the woods, except this time, Sol is in Mae’s shoes.
Khofar’s flora and fauna is Brendok but denser, far more forbidding and hostile. A densely-forested, largely uncharted planet, as Brendok is a densely-forested, now-uninhabited planet. Khofar’s wilds are not Brendok’s lush but gentle, easily navigable forests, but instead forests of trees so tall and so dense that they all but block out the sun, and navigating these forests is difficult even with the aid of an experienced guide/tracker. In place of Brendok’s delicate pink flutterbies, we are met with the umbramoths, large, hostile carnivorous insects which Osha finds herself drawn to as she was drawn to the insects of her homeworld—and when one of them hatches, Sol does not pacify it nor even harmlessly scare it off, but instead kills it, doubling down on denying the violence of his past by committing yet more violence. The area around the umbramoth colony has a rotten stench, like bodies left out in the open to rot, coming back to light for the first time in years.
Sol is leading a team in stalking Mae through the woods, as he once stalked Osha and Mae through the woods when they were children. And it’s when he finds her, it’s when he reaches the woman he has displaced the burden of his guilt onto, that Qimir arrives. Qimir whose storytelling function as the masked Dark Sider on Khofar is to serve as the manifestation of Sol’s shadow. Qimir who has concealed his true identity from Mae, as Sol has concealed a dire secret of their shared past from Osha. Sol, who is ultimately the only Jedi sent to Khofar who can actually hold his own against Qimir. Qimir, who has accepted his darkness, versus Sol, who has repressed it. And what you repress always comes back to haunt you.
We have Osha, Osha who is on Khofar closely associated with the Jedi but not actually a Jedi, just as on Brendok, she was closely associated with the witches but not actually a witch. Osha who is in some amount of danger from Qimir, but whom Sol doesn’t have that much difficulty keeping safe from him, because Qimir’s goal at this point is the same as Sol’s once was. Sol, whose goal on Brendok was to get Osha and keep her, versus Qimir, whose ultimate goal now is to get Osha and keep her.
We have Mae, who is in considerably more danger from Qimir, and whom Sol cannot effectively protect from him. Mae, who is ultimately saved by sheer chance in the form of Yord just happening to show up at the right time and just happening to hit on the right solution to free her before Qimir can kill her, just as she was saved by sheer chance as a child. Qimir tells Sol and Mae “Look at you two. Right back where you started,” and this is just as true for Mae as it is for Sol. Mae, who became nothing more than second rate to Sol once Osha came into focus on Brendok, and Mae whom even without betrayal to add into it, Qimir is ready to toss to the wayside now that Osha has come into focus for him as well.
And Sol. We have Sol, who is at the epicenter of the Khofar massacre, just as he was at the epicenter of the Brendok massacre as well. But there’s a difference this time. On Brendok, Sol’s role at the epicenter was to be the one who pushed things past the point of no return, to be the one who ensured that all of the witches would die by killing Mother Aniseya, ensuring that all of the other adults would never back down until the Jedi were dead, or they were. On Khofar, Sol now occupies Mae’s former role at the epicenter, to be the witness to the massacre and the sole survivor of the Jedi sent to Khofar.
The Jedi sent to Khofar die, just as the witches died. Sol watches Jecki die, helpless to prevent it, just as Mae once watched her mother die, helpless to prevent it—and so too is Mae watching as Jecki dies. Sol watches all of his team die around him, cut down by this specter of destruction that has come into his life seemingly out of nowhere, just as the witches were cut down by Sol and Indara, who came into their lives seemingly out of nowhere.
Sol now stands in Mae’s shoes, is dealt the same wound that he dealt Mae… and it breaks him. He responds just as Mae responded. He stands stunned for a moment after Qimir kills Yord, processing the fact that now, every last member of his team is dead, and then he flies into a rage and goes after Qimir with a vengeance. He effectively speedruns Mae’s arc through her discovering that Osha was still alive, nothing short of Qimir’s death being enough to satisfy him, until Osha calls out to him and stops him just short of killing Qimir. Sol breaks, and he breaks along the same lines that Mae broke.
And then, in the aftermath, Sol flees the scene with “Osha” in tow, when he knows that if Qimir survived his encounter with the umbramoths, he’s leaving Mae somewhere in the woods, at the mercy of a man who has made it very clear that he wants to kill her. Just as he once left Mae to die on Brendok. Except it’s not “Osha” leaving with him at all. It’s Mae, and now Qimir gets Osha, the way Sol once got Osha. By taking her away with him while she was still unconscious.

i think the issue with 9-1-1's writing and why we are all trying to recapture the magic s2 - s5 is they keep trying to work backward for desired outcomes. instead of naturally planning a complete arc, they start with the outcome and ask themselves how to get characters A, B, and C to where they need them to be.
I think eddie's plot is the biggest victim of this. they knew they wanted him a redux of s5 (survivors guilt bc he couldn't save them (his platoon/bobby), buddie separation), so they started working backward. they needed eddie to go to texas and miss bobby's death, so they sent him there. however, they didn't have enough story to justify why he was there so long. also the story they did force on him did not cause him to grow at all? instead of reworking it, they smoothed the edges and kept working backward.
it's the same reason i believe the chris calls were cut. if they stayed, no one would believe eddie would need to move to Texas. so instead of reworking it, they cut them so everything continued to go according to plan.
the issue with this is that sometimes characters do not react how you think they are going to until you start writing them. you put someone in a saw trap and think something will happen, but as you write, you realize the character needs to go a completely different direction. and unfortunately, i think that is where 911 is suffering.
even 8x16... i think everything they had happen in that episode was important to furthering their objective, but unfortunately, now everyone feels like the half of the main cast was written out of character and the rest of the plot was filler. am I sure everything probably happened for a reason? yeah, probably. but also they have to remember they are writing episodic TV that gets released weekly... even if it will be more digestible when someone streams back to back, that's not where the money is. you need to retain weekly viewers to get renewed
anyways long story short, i think planning the desired outcome and trying to force characters into boxes to get that outcome is the main thing that is hurting the show and specifically eddie.

C-PTSD & BPD Eleventh Doctor pt. 1
(Doctor Character Study part 3c.1 [Redux]) 3c.2
[Full on AO3]
An analysis of The Doctor as having Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) along with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
The Eleventh Doctor is often seen as goofy and not very deep or as a Doctor who is fully cruel for no real reason. He is rarely understood as a deeply traumatized character and given the same understanding as a character like Nine or Ten. However, I posit Eleven is best understood through the lens of having C-PTSD and BPD.
11th Doctor 1: Hyperarousal, Hypervigilance, Schema, & Anxiety
The Doctor experiences global hyperarousal causing diffuse energy throughout the body dissuades him from being able to calm down and rest is very common for The Doctor. It can seem like he is even afraid to stay still, functioning best at a higher stress level. (TV: The Eleventh Hour, TV: Victory of The Daleks, TV: The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, TV: The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood, TV: The Lodger, TV: Night Terrors, TV: Dinosaurs On A Spaceship, TV: A Town Called Mercy, TV: The Angels Take Manhattan & Prose: Glamour Chase)
Showing up in TV: Amy’s Choice where the very idea of a calm life causes him to be frustrated and rude:
“Amy: This is busy. Okay, it's quiet, but it's really restful and healthy. Loads of people here live well into their nineties. The Doctor: Well, don't let that get you down. Amy: It's not getting me down. The Doctor: Well, I wanted to see how you were. You know me, I don't just abandon people when they leave the TARDIS. This Time Lord's for life. You don't get rid of your old pal the Doctor so easily. Amy: Hmm. You came here by mistake, didn't you? The Doctor: Yeah, bit of a mistake. But look, what a result. Look at this bench. What a nice bench. What will they think of next? So. What do you do around here to stave off the, you know Amy: Boredom. The Doctor: Self-harm.”
During TV: The Power of Three, the Doctor struggles to stay with The Ponds, having to stay active to not go stir crazy, he does eventually stay but it’s very hard for him.
Commenting on TV: Vincent and The Doctor:
“The Doctor: Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly. In the right order. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's an unpunctual alien attack”.
This can lead to Insomnia: (TV: The Lodger, TV: The Bells of Saint John, Home Video: Bad Night, Home Video: Good Night & Comic: The Lost Dimension)
The Doctor has an addiction to excitement, action and danger created by his hyperarousal, sensitised nervous system and schema shaped by viewing the world structured on fighting and danger. It’s something he deeply enjoys and always has but has also become something he can’t not do anymore due to it being something he has just become so habituated to. (TV: Victory of The Daleks, TV: Vincent and The Doctor, TV: Amy's Choice, TV: The Curse of The Black Spot, TV: The God Complex, TV: Dinosaurs On A Spaceship, TV: A Town Called Mercy, TV: The Rings of Akhaten, TV: The Cold War Home Video: Bad Night, Home Video: Good Night, Prose: Night of The Humans, Prose: Apollo 23, Prose: Borrowed Time, & Comic: As Time Goes By)
In Prose: Tales of Trenzalore we have the quotes:
“Theol Thought he was enjoying himself a little too much.”
River comments on how he’ll give in and stay become interested in what she is asking him to do when he learns it’s dangerous:
“The Doctor: I'm nobody's taxi service. I'm not going to be there to catch you every time you feel like jumping out of a spaceship. River: And you are so wrong. There's one survivor. There's a thing in the belly of that ship that can't ever die. Now he's listening.”
(TV: The Time Of Angels)
He also can’t let himself move past the danger he becomes aware of even when he wants to:
“The Doctor: Just go. Stop noticing. Just go. Stop noticing, just go. Stop noticing, just go. Stop it. Am I noticing? No. No, I am not. ..... I'm going. Do you hear me? Going. Not staying, going. I am through saving them. I am going away now.”
(TV: Closing Time)
Up to his final story, we can see how much he wants to get involved in dangerous situations and compulsively gets involved.
“Tasha: That message is transmitting through all of space and time. What did it make you feel? The Doctor: Feel? Tasha: Every sentient being in the universe who detected that signal felt something. Something overpowering. The Doctor: What? Tasha: Fear. Pure, unadulterated dread. ... The Doctor: Right. What's the signal? Where's it coming from? Tasha: It's a settlement. Human colony, level two. A farm, basically. The Doctor: Right. Anyone been for a look? ... The Doctor: Daleks, Cybermen, one of that lot, could break through your defences. Tasha: Perhaps. But they're afraid, remember? Nobody wants to go first. The Doctor: I do. Tasha: I was counting on it.”
(TV: Time of The Doctor)
Connected to this is his hypervigilance, a very common sign of C-PTSD. His long history of trauma would likely wire his nervous system to take in information to protect him. (TV: The Eleventh Hour, TV: The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood, TV: Vincent and The Doctor, TV: Let's Kill Hitler, TV: The God Complex, TV: Closing Time, TV: Asylum of The Daleks, TV: The Rings of Akhaten, TV: Nightmare in Silver, Prose: Glamour Chase, Comic: Silent Knight, & Comic: The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who) An example of this can be seen in TV: The Beast Below:
“The Doctor: Now, come on, look around you. Actually, look. ..... The Doctor: Life on a giant starship. Back to basics. Bicycles, washing lines, wind-up street lamps. But look closer. Secrets and shadows, lives led in fear. Society bent out of shape, on the brink of collapse. A police state. Excuse me. (He takes a glass of water from a table.) Man: What are you doing? (And puts it on the floor. He looks at it for a moment then returns it to the table.) The Doctor: Sorry. Checking all the water in this area. There's an escaped fish. Where was I? Amy: Why did you just do that with the water? The Doctor: Don't know. I think a lot. It's hard to keep track. Now, police state. Do you see it yet?”
In this, we can see how The Doctor is telling Amy about the police state, which he later explains he knows because no one is helping a crying child and at the same time noticing the way the water isn’t moving. He also says he “thinks a lot” which can be a reference to how he is taking in more information due to his hypervigilance.
In Prose: Dark Horizons when discussing his experience of dying at the bottom of the ocean he references how ever-present his hypervigilance is:
The Doctor: “This is the only time I've been relaxed"
He can also be seen noticing the mood and behaviours of people around him even when he is also focusing on conversations (Comic: The Friendly Place)
We can see more of how schema is built around this violence he’s aware of, believing the world to be dangerous. Sometimes not seeing outs, like not believing the Star Whale might stay in TV: The Beast Below. Being generally ready to drop in and fall into patterns of action and fighting (TV: The Eleventh Hour, TV: The Beast Below, TV: The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, TV: The Vampires of Venice, TV: The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood, TV: The Lodge, TV: A Christmas Carol, TV: The Impossible Astronaut/Day of The Moon, TV: Asylum of The Daleks, TV: A Town Called Mercy, TV: Nightmare in Silver, TV: The Day of The Doctor)
In Comic: The Eye of Ashaya believes the worst in Christina de Souza but is still willing to steal an artefact himself to fix his TARDIS but then realises she is trying to save the Ashayan people and has to give the artefact back. During Comic: After Life, The Doctor doesn’t always consider normal reasons for things that humans can like animals with tags that have pet owners and not violent reasons like cruelty.
This detached schema can lead to issues like in Comic: Whodunnit where he accidentally calls his new friends a stray being honest about how they tend to come in and out of his life. However, putting up distance due to the pain the separation from his friends causes.
The Doctor shows more general anxiety throughout this run, yes The Doctor shows immense strength and can command a room he also is insecure about situations and most importantly worried for the safety of the people he is caring for. (TV: Vincent and The Doctor, TV: Time of Angels, TV: The Girl Who Waited, TV: The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People, TV: Closing Time, TV: Asylum of The Daleks, TV: Nightmare in Silver, TV: The Day of The Doctor, Prose: Borrowed Time, Comic: The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who, Comic: The Friendly Place, Comic: Space in Dimension Relative and Time, Comic: Conversion, Comic: The Tragical History Tour. Comic: Time of the Ood. Comic: Fool. Comic: Supremacy of the Cybermen, & Comic: Prisoners of Time)
We get a few references to his own worries and anxieties including TV: The Curse of The Black Spot:
“Amy: You only call me Amelia when you're worrying about me. The Doctor: I always worry about you.”
In Prose: Tales of Trenzalore The Doctor says:
"I've been scared for my life almost everyday"
In TV: Flesh and Stone:
“The Doctor:...Nobody panic, just me then"
The Doctor has a panic attack-like episode in TV: Asylum of The Daleks when presented with The Daleks who survived his attacks. And a panic attack in Comic: The Comfort of The Good.
Shows panicking physical compulsive behaviours in Comic: Space Oddity trying to hide it.
“ The Doctor: I'm not panicking I'm moving quickly’ & “ The Doctor: hard to think without pacing"
This anxiety can present as obsessive thoughts and behaviours. (Prose: Tales of Trenzalore, Comic: The Lost Dimension) For example, checking Amy’s body scan TV: Day Of The Moon & TV: The Curse of The Black Spot. We see another topic he can be obsessive about referenced in TV: Victory of The Daleks:
“Amy: I'm still here, aren't I? You're worried about the Daleks. The Doctor: I'm always worried about the Daleks.”
We see this obsessive thinking around the Impossible girl mystery with Clara. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten, TV: Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, & TV: Nightmare in Silver) To the point of isolation in TV: The Bells of Saint John.

Spill the deets on Redux.
AN ACTUAL ASK AND ONE FROM A FREND!!!!!!!!!!
Okay. Here we go.
THE EPOCHS OF HUMANITY: A HISTORY OF FIRE AND RESURRECTION - In the lightless gulfs of Primordial Space, long before time was counted by men or stars bore names, a war raged beyond mortal comprehension. The Jjaro, an ancient precursor species—tall, godlike, and bearing the unmistakable genetic fingerprint of humanity—stood as the last defense against extinction. Once caretakers of the galaxy, the Jjaro faced annihilation by a parasitic intelligence: The Flood. The Flood consumed thought and identity, reduced civilizations to biomass, and mocked the very idea of free will. Desperate and outnumbered, the Jjaro forged a final solution: The Halo Arrays. Ringworlds. Planet-killers. Built not just to destroy the Flood's biomass, but to starve them of what they needed most—sentient hosts. The Halos were 2,000-kilometer-wide toroidal megastructures, lined with Forerunner-tier weaponry and the raw elegance of Stanford-Torus design, constructed in the silent ruins of forgotten solar systems. And when they fired... Life across the Milky Way died. The Jjaro vanished. The Flood were imprisoned. The galaxy was sterilized. But life... finds a way.
REIGNITION (6000 BC - 2552 AD) - Civilization sparked once more on Earth. Slowly, over millennia, life returned—flora, fauna, and eventually, mankind. But the memory of the Jjaro was lost. Technology, once sublime, was now myth. Humanity crawled back into the stars, this time not as heirs, but as wanderers. From 2070 to 2552, the Earth sphere was plunged into a century-long Interplanetary War. Superpowers, megacorporations, and rebellious colonies clashed across the void. Mars burned, Titan was glassed, and Europa floated with debris fields larger than continents. It was the crucible through which mankind was reforged. Only after this dark century did the factions unify. A new age dawned.
THE FORMATION OF THE UESC - Out of chaos rose The United Earth Star Coalition (UESC), a constitutional republic formed by Earth and her strongest colonies—Mars, Titan, Luna, and the orbital nations. The UESC wasn’t a government. It was a declaration: “We are united, we are armed, and we are done kneeling to tyranny.” The UESC’s navy became the most powerful military force in known human history. And for a time—there was peace.
THE PHFOR WAR (2553 - 10,019) - That peace shattered when humans encountered the Phfor. An alien coalition of scavengers and bio-engineered war-slaves, the Phfor roamed the galaxy pillaging old Jjaro vaults, seeking artifacts of power and secrets of immortality. They found humanity instead. What followed was seven thousand years of brutal, attritional warfare. Entire star systems were lost and reclaimed. Humanity, outgunned and outnumbered, began to reverse-engineer Phfor tech—warping it, hacking it, merging it with their own innovations. Starships became smarter. Soldiers became faster. Planets became fortresses. The war ended only when the UESC shattered the Phfor homeworld and drove the survivors into the edge of the galactic core. But the void abhors a vacuum.
THE RISE OF THE COVENANT - Out in the dark, the Shaan’Shyuum, self-proclaimed Prophets of Unity, rose from the ashes. They rallied the shattered remnants of the Phfor, bolstered them with new warrior species—Elites, Brutes, Jackals, Drones—and baptized the new alliance under one purpose: To find the Jjaro’s legacy. To awaken the gods. Thus began the Covenant War—a crusade unlike any other. Faster. Smarter. Religious. Where the Phfor wanted power, the Covenant wanted revelation. The UESC, desperate to stem the tide, turned to forbidden sciences: The Spartans – Genetically engineered from birth. Born on heavy-gravity colonies. Trained in war, discipline, and loyalty. The ultimate natural warriors. The Battleroids – Dead soldiers reborn in chrome and neural-gel. Human minds inside technological monsters, designed to kill, then kill again.
THE MARATHON LAUNCH - The war raged on. In secret, the UESC spent 64 years building a new vessel from the ruins of Mars' moon Deimos: the Marathon. A massive colonial starcruiser and weapons platform, it was meant to house a new generation of Spartans and scientists. General Malcolm Keyes, a decorated veteran and war tactician, was placed in command. His orders were simple: Explore uncharted systems. Find answers. Come back alive.
THE BOY WHO KNEW THE STARS - In the shadow of the Covenant's empire, a child was born in chains. John Reyes—orphaned by war, enslaved by the Covenant. Not to mine. Not to fight. But to operate Jjaro Reclaimer tech—devices that only a rare human genome could interface with. He was a freak to them. A tool. A means to an end. But fate had other plans. Rescued during a covert raid by the megacorp Traxus Global, John was taken in—not out of compassion, but potential. Traxus was known for backroom deals with black-market tech, both alien and human. They rebuilt John into something new. Reclaimer. Mercenary. He became their blade. Their ghost. A child-soldier who fought in more ops than most ODSTs see in a lifetime.
THE HALO IS DISCOVERED While scouting deep-space anomalies, The Marathon discovered what no one had seen since the time of the Jjaro: A Halo Ring. A toroidal construct that dwarfed planets. Jjaro craftsmanship, untouched for eons. But the Covenant had already arrived. A massacre followed. Most of the UESC crew was slaughtered or captured. The Marathon was taken. Only fragments of a distress signal escaped.
THE MISSION - It's the year 30,000 AD. Now a grown man, John Reyes operates under ONI’s command. Officially, he doesn’t exist. Unofficially, he’s the most valuable asset the UESC has ever recovered. His mission: Infiltrate the Halo. Recover the survivors. Secure the artifact. And if necessary... Destroy it.

About Me Redux
I decided I needed a new "about me". My original one was written hastily and just lacked meat. I am a person of substance, and not a one-note. So... shall we begin?
Online Nickname: Raye Pronouns: She/her
I'm a cis-woman with bisexual leanings, and could largely be considered a pagan/agnostic/atheist. (It varies on the day. 😅)
I consider myself a writer. I've dabbled in Medium posts, and in the past, have written fanfiction, original stories, blogs. Nowadays I'm working on my first screenplay. It's been a fun challenge and I have been enjoying it immensely!
Eventually I hope to branch out into novels. Those take longer, but it's a dream of mine nonetheless.
I'm passionate about reading. I have a number of favorites and love to re-read them when the mood strikes. They're heavily urban fantasy, with a dash of high fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons type books, and the occasional romance.
I'm a survivor of abuse. Since childhood, I've endured just about all kinds of abuse: mental, sexual, emotional, physical and financial. There's a reason why I speak out about abuse, and try to shine a light on what I can because I do not want anyone else to suffer. It would be wonderful if one person was helped or found strength to leave because of my blog.
I hadn't meant to become an anti-blog. I do and will share things about other stuff, but I am also going to focus on the abuse I see from Elta Danneel Graul Ackles to her husband, Jensen Ross Ackles.
I'll speak of writing, life, positivity... whatever strikes my fancy. Just don't come here claiming I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to abuse. The fact I can still hold love and kindness after what I've been through speaks to my strength.
If my abusers couldn't break me, what makes you think you can?

A Place to Rest Your Head...and Maybe Call Home
https://archiveofourown.org/works/64933360 by PeterStark After the deaths of Aunt May and Uncle Ben, Peter is place in the foster system. After too many horrible placements, Peter decides he’d be better off fending for himself. Fourteen years old, homeless, and living on the streets, Peter makes the best of what he has by using his brain and his superpowers to his advantage. He’s prepared to hide out until he was old enough to get a job and be considered an adult by the state. He’s determined to find a way to live and survive until he could get back on his feet, alone. Danganronpa V3 Fic Recs!!
In my six years of being a Danganronpa fan I've read a lot of fanfiction, so I've decided to compile a list of some of my personal favourites (in no particular order) for your perusal. Contains very minor plot spoilers, but nothing beyond what the tags/descriptions will tell you. Enjoy :D
New Danganronpa V3BOOT: Killing Harmony Redux - EternalSailorNeptune_53.
Unique in the fact that not only is it a Talentswap AU, but a Simulation AU as well. The general premise is that DRV3 wound up being such a monumental disappointment of a season that Shirogane is forced to rewrite it and try again.
Something that stands out about this fic in particular is its characterization. It tweaks the personalities and backstories of the cast to fit their new talents, all while remaining fundamentally true to their canon counterparts. There's a new death order, new motives, and all of the jokes hit. It's really funny but also made me cry at a few points. Ships include SaiMatsu, KoreKichi, TenMiko and some ShinToujo.
Words: 598,513
Chapters: 53/53 (Completed)
2. The Powerful Skeletons Series - EternalLoveSong
Another V3 Talentswap AU, except this time it's a collection of shorter fics, currently about 27 of them, set in the same talentswap universe. It features Supreme Leader Maki, Assassin Kokichi, Inventor Shuichi, and Servant Rantaro to name a few, and each character gets the spotlight at some point. I don't have a lot to say about these but they're very good.
Words: 95,923 Total
3. Alternative Ending, New Beginning - CrowSandwhich
V3 Chapter 5 canon divergence AU, in which various factors (Maki) cause Kokichi's plan to backfire before he can complete it. Due to his injuries, he winds up confined to the hangar by the rest of the survivors, under the belief that he's the mastermind. Incredibly engaging, but tragically discontinued. Kokichi & Kaito centric, no ships.
Words: 36,523
Chapters: 6/6 (Discontinued)
4. Irreplaceable - apollo_python
Set many years after the events of V3. The participants of the final killing game have all disappeared under mysterious circumstances, with the exception of Shuichi and Kokichi, who've been out of contact and down on their luck since the game ended. At Shuichi's insistence, they take it upon themselves to find their missing former classmates. A Saiouma thriller/mystery with a heavy focus on their relationship. Ships include Saiouma, and background Kaimaki/Irumatsu.
Words: 31,827
Chapters: 3/? (Unfinished)
:D

I found an interesting upcoming flash exchange: Grief/Mourning 2024 Redux
This is a low-pressure multifandom flash exchange with a Grief/Mourning theme. That does not mean this is a flash specifically about characters dying (but of course, characters dying is on the menu!). Mourning can be the loss of: a loved one, a pet, an object, a character's sense of self, of time, of their past, and more. Grief isn't exclusively or necessarily expressed as sadness, it can be anger, numbness, risk taking, survivors living life to its fullest, etc.
Grief and mourning are themes that work well with Hitman. If you're interested in signing up, please let me know!
Minimum request/offer is two (2) fandoms (but I'm sure we can manage to match on Hitman). Minimum for fic is 300 words.
Schedule (all times are in EDT)
Noms/Sign-ups Close: Sunday, July 14, 2024 11:59 PM Assignments Due: Saturday, July 27, 2024 11:59 PM Works Revealed: Sunday, July 28, 2024 11:59 PM Creators Revealed: Sunday, August 4, 2024 11:59 PM
I've nominated Hitman (Video Games) and Agent 47: Birth of the Hitman (Comics). Please make sure to nominate a second fandom you'd be interested in writing/receiving here in this tag set in case the mods don't approve the comics as a separate fandom!

Hey I missed the harm reduction for self-harm discussion. Is there anywhere else I can find your work on ths topic? :)
hi!! did you mean the one that (afaik) @bioethicists & @trans-axolotl are more deeply involved with/on the organizing side of? if so, you may want to ask them!
most of the stuff that i do with harm redux is with disorderly eating - my tag is here and my piece for the Psych Survivor Zine is here.
sorry i can't be of more help!!

I swear to God with that ghost x sole survivor crossover fic, you scratched an itch that I didn't even know I had, you've created an addiction for me now, I'm in love with that fic I need to download that fucking mod for f04 or I'm gonna go even more unhinged than I already am with how vicereally I NEED him
Haha I knoooow! On a whim I downloaded him as a mod because I really only use Hancock, Danse, or Nick as companions, and it's nice having a companion that can pack a punch and not go down so easily (at least in my save).
However he does say "Fuckin' hell!" a goddamn lot of you don't tell him to sit still before going into build-mode cause his ass can and will fuck around while you're doing stuff.
But the mods I use(d) are:
Modern Warfare SAS Companions - Ghost and Price (by: bohgger) They don't speak very much and aren't too terribly well-programmed, but they use actual voice lines from their respective games.
(I'm not sure if the mod is available as it's now gone and vanished from my mod list and searches; but if you're not on Xbox like me, I'm sure the PC has waaaay better mods there!)
His outfit was a mod called [XHX] MW19 Ghost Prison Outfit (it is by the author thefalllenking) but it may still show up on PC searches.
There's another outfit mod I may download called [XHX] MW19 Ghost Redux that comes with several other Ghost outfits! (Also by thefalllenking)
I may also consider downloading the Apocalypse Survival Set + Improved Textures (2k) (by LandoCummando) for a more "immersive" look in the future
Now, I also have the following mods for other NPCs (i love my Minutemen looking like actual soldiers and not homeless chem addicts toting around fatman launchers)
Unfortunately, like the first MW2 Ghost outfit mod, the PMC Operators Pack (I believe it is called, and I believe it is done by Overboss.Dragon, but I could be incorrect) is no longer appearing on Xbox searches or in my mod list but it may still be available on PC, like the previous one. It allows me to set custom faction patches for their gear! (Price is rocking the MM flag currently)
If you can't find that mod, there is also the BZW Captain Price mod (by DeepBlue93) for (one of) his outfit from MW. I just like the PMC Operators Pack because it gives me so many customization options.
For my Soul Survivor:
The BZW MW Domino Spy mod (by elfunstoppable)
I also use the NV Authority Glasses (by princesscake) but you can also just use the vanilla Patrolman Sunglasses found lying around
For her gun:
The Glock 19x Revamp (by: KingofWolves313) I recommend it since it's highly customizable!
Springfield XD Model 2 Subcompact Pistol (by: Urbanranger88)

A fellow that survived strange journey redux
What ending did you go for? I went for chaos
Hell yeah! Welcome, fellow survivor! It sure felt like I survived after going through some of those sectors.
I ended up on chaos. Not the new chaos but the original chaos one since I wanted to see what an original ending of strange journey was like. For most of the game I was fairly neutral. I love Jimenez though and thought he was great. Zelenin originally got on my nerves a lot but with time I enjoyed her character for the most part but yeah I usually don’t go for law endings. I actually wound up on chaos because I decided to get revenge and take out the men who tortured and experimented on the demons, Bugaboo and Jimenez. The game said “you’re chaos now” and I was all like “no regrets. I’d do it again”
I heard the new endings you have to go through the Womb of Grief and after looking stuff up about it… yeah I’m not willing to go through that area for the new endings. I did read up on the new endings and they’re cool. I have a lot of thoughts on the positives of the og endings but also appreciate the new ones too.
Thanks for the ask!
