#I was talking to some buddies about lies of p and sekiro and how LoP’s defense as offense mentality helped get into sekiro#but then how sekiro overwrote that mentality with its own “offense is the best defense” mentality#or “hesitate and you lose” as Grandpappy isshin would say#and how the switch for the change for me was genichiro who I think is one of the best designed bosses in gaming#you CAN’T play too defensively with him because he’s happy to pepper you with arrows from a distance#and then the moment comes when you realize your sword interrupts his bow attacks sekiro truly begins as a game#lady butterfly is also a good fight but all her moves bring her to you so there’s less incentive to be as aggressive#vs genny baby who will back off and fire off his bow if you let him#this isn’t even like a video of me playing perfectly but I LOVE getting my feudal edgelord corner stunned and just bursting him down#I kinda hate the owl shinobi fight bc he hits too hard and his attacks just aren’t interesting to react to#but it’s also possible to corner stun him and just go to town on his health bar#owl father and inner father are much better fights and I actually really enjoyed inner father a lot#but the Ashina family fights are absolutely stunning achievements in game design imo#perfectly balanced to be difficult but fair and visually stunning to boot#even if there is a layer of artificial difficulty in the final battle with the flowers obscuring their swords when they’re crouched#but the animations are solid enough that there are enough other more subtle differences like how hes shifting his weight#if he’s centered he’s going to lunge but if he’s angled he’s gonna sweep#I had so much fun with LoP and sekiro 🥰🥰🥰 I crave more…#I can’t say the combat in Elden ring gorilla gripped me like these two games have but I like HAVE to play dark souls I know this#sekiro#tsuchi plays games

What if he turned into a rat? Or a mouse?
Oof. Thats a rough one, as life as a tiny creature is much more dangerous that anything larger.
I'm gonna say rat, just because its gonna make something very funny further on.
SO Stan gets turned into a rat, small, very hated kind of pest. His life is a horror movie of avoiding getting poisoned, eaten, or killed by pest control. Through various running/hitchhiking he makes his way to Gravity Falls, or was already nearby when he got cursed. Finds Ford, is desperate for help, except he's also a rat! What if Ford tries to kill him?
Very tentatively makes his presence known, as he's too worried about Ford putting up rat traps or poison and killing him thinking he's a normal rat. So Ford wakes up one morning, goes to get breakfast, and finds a whole rat eating toast and chillin on his counter. freezes. The rat doesnt, it just gives him a glance and keeps chewing away. where did it come from? Why is it here? how did it get toast? It has to be an anomaly of some kind, so he very cautiously approaches and tries to talk to it.
It doesnt talk back, because its a rat. An overly friendly but also very mean rat that hates being picked up but will launch itself onto his shoulder and just. hang out. what? Every test proves its a normal rat, but he's seen it work the toaster, its hyper intelligent for no reason he can find, and now its living in his house. Should he be worried?
No, because this means something. He doesnt know what yet, but he'll figure it out.
Stan, meanwhile, is finally living the high life of not running for his life and getting free food. Ford's too interested in him to chase him out! All he has to do is figure out a way to communicate to him that he's Stan and he's back to being human!
Except Bill is also here, and can read rat minds. He knows this is Stan, why he's here, and is irked he can't control him, as his human brain is way stronger than a rats. He doesnt want the bros getting reunited, as then Ford has a person there to ruin the isolation Fords living in that makes him so easy to manipulate.
So now its a looney toons battle of Stan vs a second rat, who Bill is piloting after he couldn't convince Ford to get rid of Stan. Ford has no idea this second rat is Bill. Stan has no idea this second rat is controlled by a demon. All he knows is this second rat's a huge dick who keeps messing up his attempts at communicating and attacking him when Fords not around. Ford now has two rats that love(?) him but hate each other. More than once Ford has crept into a room to watch the rats duke it out in some tom and jerry but rat shenanigans where they have weapons or makeshift bows and arrows, neither noticing the giant human man writing about wtf is going on with his pet(?) rats that immediately pretend to be normal animals when they see him, like they werent in some kind of sword battle a second ago.

Linked Universe Combat Guide (part 2)
This is Part 2 of my attempt to make my fight scene notes into a coherent and understandable guide. Lord only knows if I'm being successful on that.
Part 1 can be found here.
General Notes once again:
The additional weapons/equipment is anything outside of the literal sword and shield you get in-game that could be used as a weapon, but does not include bombs, bows + arrows, or boomerangs bc I'm not writing that every time.
7 out of 9 Links are left-handed and this will have an affect on combat if they're fighting against human enemies.
-> any ambidextrous fighters in the group is largely a headcanon but go nuts w/ it.
This is looking at lore-accurate fighting ability bc you can scale down to however you headcanon they fight. Any additional arguments are logical conclusions/presumptions I'm making off of their in-game skills and/or character history.
Once again, researched to the best of my ability but I'm not claiming this has everything in every game. Fact checking is welcomed!
Also here's an article discussing the pros and cons of chainmail vs plate armour, since this group is the more armoured lot of the Chain
Minor update 9 March 2025: added a link to a reblog explaining a note on Warriors' section in better depth.
Upadte 3 May 2025: added more info to Warriors' section, provided by @interlink-au, as well as amended & added to other sections with more info they gave me in their reblog.
Sky
The most important thing in Skyward Sword’s combat is that you are fast. You Are Speed. That is Sky’s greatest advantage.
Feint. Always, always feint; then, when the enemy goes to block the feint, quickly attack from the opposite direction.
Sword techniques*: -> Shield Bash: reflects projectiles and knocks enemies off balance. Requires perfect timing but leaves an opening to take advantage of. -> front-flip slash -> back-flip slash -> jump attack -> fatal blow -> Skyward Strike/Sword Beams *Certain techniques cost stamina.
Unlike Warriors and Wild, Sky is near the start of the timeline, meaning he doesn’t have the same type of modern military-esque knighthood structure that future versions of Hyrule have. Consequently, we don’t see anyone in Skyward Sword really use any weapons outside of short swords, leading me to believe Sky’s main proficiency is really in them alone.
Sky is highly adaptable in a fight. He learns very quickly when enemies will block and when they will go to attack, which means he can deal with them extremely quickly. Arguably this means that he is not exactly built for long-term fights, but he can get through them if he must. I’d almost call him as a Glass Cannon, but he’s sturdier than that, so he gets the Lightning Bruiser name tag instead.
Happily arguing that Sky would be very good at mounted archery, even if it's obviously different to horseback. I know Loftwings can be taught that corkscrew manoeuvre that acts as an attack, but given sword-based combat wouldn't be feasible when you're riding a giant bird so I'm dying on this hill.
Additional Equipment/Weapons: -> whip (pls use this, whip fighting is great. They can deal a lot of damage if you hit someone with the end.) -> clawshots -> slingshot/scatter-shot -> gust bellows -> guardian potion+ (invulnerability, baby!)
Time
Time is fun bc he’s about 20 years older than he was during his adventures, which means you can kinda go ham with what he does and doesn’t know.
To kick things off, Time gets the honour of being the first Link (on this list) to have canonical multiple sword proficiencies: longsword, and short sword + shield. I will very happily argue and die on the hill that Time 100% has some staff proficiency given how Deku sticks can be used in OOT. If you go with this, use European-style quarterstaff techniques instead of Chinese-style bō/gun staffs.
The Biggoron sword isn’t any specific type of longsword, given the sheer weirdness of its blade shape. I think most people seem to agree that it’s a great sword, which at the extreme basics is essentially a longer longsword. I use claymore combat videos to get a feel for writing the Biggoron sword, and have used this specific video a few times.
Given Time’s +20 years from his adventures, we all pretty much believe he's mastered the Hidden Skills he passes onto Twilight, both with a short sword and the Biggoron sword. These are still gonna be listed in Twilight’s segment however, given they feature in his game.
Time also has a magical aspect to his combat, both in terms of literal magic items and then his two combat-focused spells.
Potentially Combat-Focused Masks: -> Transformative Masks: Deku Mask, Zora Mask, Goron Mask, Fierce Deity Mask, Giant’s Mask -> Other Masks: Blast Mask, Bunny Hood, Stone Mask
Spells: -> Din’s Fire -> Nayru’s Love
Important note: as stupid as this reminder is going to sound, Time only has one eye. He has a decreased field of view and decreased depth perception. He probably has a way to compensate for this, but it is a disability that shouldn't be forgotten. My mother is visually impaired in one eye and it affects how she reads things, how she drives, how she uses footpaths etc etc. It's not ableist to remark on Time's partial lack of sight. If anything, how he compensates for it is something I've been meaning to explore - I just haven't been able to get my head to world build it coherently.
Thanks to interlink-au for reminding me I didn't add this, but Time is good at mounted combat. I'm hesitant to say he's able to do mounted archery with his vision impairment though as, if I use my mother's experience (legally blind in one eye but has some vision), his depth perception is probably crap.
Additional Equipment/Weapons: -> powder keg (yes, Time carries TNT) -> hookshots -> longshot -> Deku nut -> Deku stick -> slingshot -> golden gauntlets -> megaton hammer -> Great Fairy Sword (according to info found by interlink-au, this is now likely an arming sword, which is just a fancy word for a broadsword tbh) -> Gilded Sword
Twilight
The Tank™
Most adept at horseback combat. An FYI but the fact that Twi defaults to using a one-handed sword on horseback is extremely telling of this point. For the most part, light cavalry were equipped with polearms/lances and bows with a sabre on the side. I know it's partially an animation thing but Twi being confident enough to get close to an enemy on horseback to use a one-handed sword is huge sign of his skill and proficiency.
Hidden Skills: -> Ending blow -> Shield attack -> Back slice -> Helm Splitter -> Mortal Draw (my beloved <3) -> Jump Strike -> Great Spin
Extremely important to remember how stupidly strong Twilight is. Dude can yeet a charging Goron, only needing his iron boots to stay where he is. This can be showcased in multiple ways: fist-fighting, emphasis of the strength of his shield bash, etc etc. He's likely capable of hand-to-hand combat as well, given his strength and knowledge of sumo wrestling.
Most tanks are slow, but Twi is actually rather speedy, even as a hylian.
(Btw if Twi places a bomb on the ground in front of him and holds his shield up, he will take no damage when the bomb explodes. Fantastic way to kill stalfos and annoy Darknuts.)
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> slingshot -> ball and chain -> clawshots -> dominion rod (if you're feeling experimental) -> spinner (?????? Somehow????) -> crossbow -> Twi’s weird magic armour (note: crossbows don't actually replace bows; they have their own pros and cons. See this YouTube short for some context)
As a wolf:
This is where Twilight becomes less of a Tank and more of a Glass Cannon. Wolves are very fast and, depending on how much Twili magic you headcanon Twilight has access to, he can get in and out of combat easily.
But most importantly, Twilight has very little defence as a wolf so he can't tank hits nearly as well as he can as a hylian (as the comic has already shown).
Main threat is obviously his jaw strength; Twilight is able to latch onto enemies, usually by biting down on their throats or shoulders. Pls be aware that ordinary wolves can bite through bone if they get the angle right.
Normal wolves don’t attack with their claws bc they’re not cats, but Twilight has human-level intelligence and can do whatever he wants within the confines of his body.
Twi also has a charge spin attack as a wolf. Do with this knowledge what you will.
Warriors
Proficient in multiple weapons and has adaptable fighting styles.
A few of his canonical fighting styles are listed at the end but depending on which era of knighthood you want to take inspiration from, he can also be proficient in lances and pole-arms, long-swords and sabres, and hand-to-hand combat (predominately Greco-Roman style wrestling but don’t let that stop you).
No specific sword techniques shown outside of the spin attack and jump slash. -> Updated info from interlink-au, which I'm just going to copy and paste for ease of access, with minor edits so this doesn't get bogged down: "First off, he is very fast. He needs to get around that battlefield quickly to help struggling allies. Even without the Master Sword, he can do something similar to a sword beam (a disc-shaped air slash). With the Master Sword, his swords beams are ridiculous. He can spam those things left and right and in the air, and send 3 at the same time. He can also do a vertical spin and spin attack into the air, where he can get some normal slashes in while he’s aerial. He can juggle enemies in the air for a second. He has a move where he dodges and immediately follows with a thrust. Its use reminds me of Wind’s parry attack. He also has a shield bash (more like a charge) followed by a sword thrust. Wars' magic rod doubles as a fire rod. The magic rod portion shoots laser beams and controls orbs. The fire portion can send out fire pillars/tornados. He can even send out a stream of fire that flies around like a dragon. He can even transform it into a battle axe for some reason."
Also proficient in combat on horseback but I’m not listing his Epona as a weapon lmao. -> interlink-au added that Wars is good at mounted archery too!
Has an innate passive (potentially magic?) ability to tag enemies with a ‘Light Mark’, which causes them to take increased damage from every attack for as long as his Triforce mark is glowing. This is triggered after a certain amount of enemies are killed and ends a few seconds after he stops dealing damage. Best used in his era but still viable in others.
Also, Wars’ lil inverse-grip upward slash finisher for one of his Master Sword combos? *chef’s kiss emoji* we love to see it -> (reverse grips are technically not great bc of the increased chance of literally breaking your wrist, among other things. However it looks cool as hell) -> Update: for more info on this bc I hadn't explained it well, I've covered it in more depth in this reblog here.
A lot of Wars’ fighting style is best copied from visual mediums, but given that search results generally like to give you Age of Calamity videos, this video is a good one to focus on. interlink-au also points out that his other fighting styles in-game are very useful to study visually, but I'm not going to list them here in-depth. Here are some links to videos for them. -> Ball and Chain (note: power/silver gauntlets should be thought of as separate too and would be very good for intense hand-to-hand combat - think Vi from Arcane). -> Spinner -> Magic/Fire Rod
Full disclaimer I tried to play Hyrule Warriors in December. I got through 5 hours and the game gave me such wicked eye strain I couldn't look at a screen for 2 days straight so I had to stop. But what I did pick up is Wars is not someone to fold quickly under pressure. You do a lot of that game with very few PCs on the map while a LOT of emergencies come at you full-speed. Wars is fantastic at balancing out who needs help literally right this second and who he unfortunately has to delay assisting. These are not easy decisions to make, but they are extremely critical ones that must be made in war or any combat zone.
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> fire rod -> power gauntlets (from interlink-au, this is used w/ the ball and chain and also separately. -> spinner (again, potentially??? Somehow. I will put this Beyblade into a fight scene one day) -> hookshots -> hammer
Wild
The Ultimate Dodge Tank
BOTW’s entire combat system is literally "Do Not, Under Any Circumstances, Get Hit", to the point where the game actively rewards you for dodging and parrying. This means that Wild’s entire fighting style is based around memorising everyone else’s fighting styles.
Proficient in multiple weapons and weapon-types (i.e. short swords, slashing swords, longswords and spears) and good at using bows in close combat, though he does not get to utilise his champion ability while dodging if he’s holding a bow.
Pls be aware I do actually mean it when I say ‘multiple weapon types’. You DO NOT use a scimitar the same way you use a broadsword, nor a battle axe the same way you do with a claymore. Me @ BOTW’s animations: CHANGE THE FIGHTING STYLES UP YOU COWARDS.
No specialised sword techniques outside of the basic spin attack and downwards slash.
Proficient with all weapon-types while in mounted combat (either on a horse or the Master Cycle Zero), and great at mounted archery too obviously.
Has arguably the strongest Champion Ability next to Urbosa’s Fury, as it’s automatically triggered if the conditions are met and is very hard to block or defend against. And on that topic, let’s begin.
Flurry Rush: -> damage output adjusted for weapon type used (short swords attack x7 times, long swords attack x4 and spears attack x7-10) -> bypasses enemy shields and invincibility frames -> Wild can be knocked out of this (either by being damaged by an enemy or by mistiming the start of his flurry rush – i.e. landing on a sloped surface will cancel a flurry rush before it begins.) -> flurry rushes still affect weapon durability
Bullet Time: -> requires falling from height obviously. -> Your Stamina! It Goes Down! -> also this is the only thing that really changed in TOTK’s combat: stamina is used when firing arrows, not just by entering bullet time itself.
Perfect Guard: -> you can perfect parry literally almost anything, including a bokoblin being thrown at you by a moblin, wolves, and apparently bees. -> negates explosive damage (i.e. remote bombs, bomb arrows, that one Lynel attack) if you manage to consistently get the timing right. I have not, so take this with a grain of salt <3 -> generally only used for Guardians (as far as I've seen from fellow players) and kinda falls to the wayside in TOTK bc there’s no real incentive to use it. -> does not give Wild any actual chance to utilise his champion ability even tho I like writing that it does bc then it would be a useful thing to learn in totk, Nintendo! Shocker!
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> literally whatever he can get his goddamn hands on -> “You’ve heard of set bonuses, right?” -> Sheikah Slate
#linked universe#writing tools#lu sky#lu time#lu twilight#lu warriors#lu wild#also there are a lot of differences between longswords and greatswords i just dont have the energy to make Time's section even longer#can we talk real quick about how expensive plate armour is??? Time you own a ranch??? HOW DID YOU AFFORD THIS????#ngl to y'all I straight up don't use the Sheikah Slate in combat so I almost completely forgot to include it here lmao#Telma taught Twi how to bare-knuckle box you can pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands#I will work out how to use the spinner in combat even if it kills me#I live in perpetual fear of the your stamina! it goes down! quote being identified lmao#linked universe meta#Lu meta#combat meta

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 50: 50 Facts for 50 Parts
How the hell did I get to part 50?!?!?! This is insanity.
The Eleventh Doctor once got hit with an electromagnetic pulse that left him needing to rebuild his mind, during which time he lived as Mr. Foreman. Valarie would sell her cybernetic enhancements to Mr. Foreman in exchange for money and the chance to check on the TARDIS, often telling him stories about the Doctor as she did so. Mr. Foreman used so many of her enhancements that she lost herself. (Audio: Curiosity Shop)
The Fifth Doctor has been tied up in strappado before. (Audio: The Church and the Crown)
The Ninth Doctor has lost or forgotten the ability to play the spoons. (Audio: Station to Station)
Aspirin is fatal to Time Lords. (Novel: The Left-Handed Hummingbird; Burning Heart; Audio: The Condemned)
The Brigadier lost his virginity as a Second Lieutenant when he was 21 years old. (Novel: Deadly Reunion)
The Thirteenth Doctor has introduced herself as "Sarah Jane Smith" before. (Short story: Mission of the KaaDok)
The Third Doctor was able to sense that he was near the end of his life before being irradiated. (Audio: The Children of the Future)
Mozart got cloned in the future many times because they were inspired by his creativity. This made one clone travel to the past to make Mozart immortal with the intention of draining him of that creativity, which would make sure those clones were never made. The Sixth Doctor traveled to Mozart's deathbed to convince him not to trust the clone, and Mozart eventually dies very confused by what was going on. (Audio: My Own Private Wolfgang)
Ace once tried to use the Seventh Doctor's "look me in the eye, pull the trigger" manipulation tactics, but because she's not a hypnotist or psychic like him, she ends up shot anyway. (Audio: The Fearmonger)
Hannah Bartholomew stowed away on the TARDIS, looking for an adventure. She ended up being instrumental in saving the day on the God-King's Tomb Ship and joined Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor more officially. (Audio: Tomb Ship)
Iris Wildthyme has her own version of the Valeyard called Bianca. She rebuilt her TARDIS as a nightclub and tried to steal Iris's regenerations. (Audio: The Wormery)
The Thirteenth Doctor and the Master, locked together in a psychic link, once talked about their issues. They talked about their pasts, but the Master refused to tell her about the "mystery" he was keeping from her. (Short story: The Doctor vs the Master)
After being irradiated, the Third Doctor wandered the time vortex for an entire decade, his body breaking down the entire time. It got to a point where he could not reach the console and was left drifting until the TARDIS finally landed herself. (Novel/Audio: Love and War)
The Thirteenth Doctor once tried to celebrate Yaz's birthday with a tea party in Boston, 1773. (Comic: The Forest Bride)
The Eighth Doctor was separated into his three different sides once. One side was sensible. The other was quite bouncy and excitable, and it was a wonder he didn't get killed while being distracted by something. The third side was incredibly nasty and could be quite violent without the other two sides there to balance him out. (Audio: Caerdroia)
The Fifth Doctor is so good with a bow and arrow that he could shoot an arrow with a piece of parchment attached to it through a window in a tower and snuff out the flame of the candle he was aiming at. (Audio: Son of the Dragon)
The Ninth Doctor once invited a woman named Adriana to travel with him in the TARDIS, only for her to almost immediately die. (Audio: The Bleeding Heart)
When taking into account the battered appearance of his TARDIS console, the Second Doctor realized that the Time Lords had been sending him on missions for a long time, using him as a pawn. Unfortunately, every time he realized this, they erased his memory. (Short story: Save Yourself)
The Twelfth Doctor recalled pulling the Sword from the Stone, becoming King of England for a day, and then abdicating to King Arthur. (Novel: Silhouette)
The Eleventh Doctor used the alias Jean Valjean to infiltrate Alcatraz. (Comic: Escape into Alcatrax)
The Toymaker once turned the Eighth Doctor into a ventriloquist's doll, and he was unable to move or speak unless Charley was holding him. When he did speak, he would shout and protest desperately against the situation. (Audio: Solitaire)
About six hours after the events of The Tomb of the Cybermen, Captain Hopper and his crew ran into the Fifth Doctor, Tegan, and Nyssa, and Hopper was killed by two cyber-converted crewmembers. (Audio: Secrets of Telos)
The Third Doctor became a British citizen at some point. (Audio: The Doll of Death)
After leaving the Eighth Doctor, Zagreus became Perfection, who was a huge flirt towards the Doctor. (Audio: The Next Life)
William Shakespeare once spiked the Fifth Doctor's drink with ginger, leading to the predictable drunken effects. (Audio: The Kingmaker)
The Thirteenth Doctor also really likes ginger nuts, garibaldis, and fig rolls and gets them from the biscuit dispenser in her TARDIS. (Comic: The Forest Bride)
The Sixth Doctor considers Braxiatel condescending and doesn't really like him, but he still trusts him. (Audio: The 100 Days of the Doctor)
When the Fifth Doctor was stabbed in the chest, he was able to survive due to his characteristic heart anatomy, but he was still out for the count for a while. (Audio: Son of the Dragon)
The Sixth Doctor had been known to play with swivel chairs, even going "wheeeee!" while gliding around in them. (Audio: The Sandman)
The Ninth Doctor used his sonic screwdriver to seal the Compassionate away in the rift. He also rigged the sonic to explode. However, this sonic screwdriver was the model commonly used by the War Doctor, not the one from the first series of nuwho. (Audio: The Bleeding Heart)
The Twelfth Doctor thought he might regenerate when he was infected with the Venusian flu, but he also worried that the flu would take such a toll on him that he wouldn't be able to regenerate. (Audio: The Lost Flame)
Kwundaar looks so terrifying that the Doctor screamed after merely looking at him. (Audio: Primeval)
Erimem - a companion of the Fifth Doctor - brought her cat Antranak on board the TARDIS, whom the Doctor despised. There were several reasons for this, including that the Doctor was occasionally unable to set the controls because Antranak was lying on top of them. (Audio: The Church and the Crown)
C'rizz's father almost drowned him once as punishment for deviating from the Church of the Foundation. (Audio: The Next Life)
The Twelfth Doctor's sonic sunglasses have a Telepathic Emergency Beacon, which allows him to take control of another person's body. (Short story: My Dad, The Doctor)
There was a murderer in a place called the Needle, which should be impossible since everyone there has a chip inside of them stopping them from being violent. This killer traveled from person to person, something referred to as "redlining." The Seventh Doctor immediately redlined after being chipped. This whole situation began because a time traveller came to the needle, and the time travel mechanism was organic and a part of her, which made the computer go mad. The Doctor was drawn there and was sensitive to redlining due to his time sensitive nature and his biology. (Audio: Red)
Simon and Joanne, two characters in Lant Land, thought that Tegan and Turlough's names were unbelievable and proposed they change them to Yvonne and Derek. (Audio: Lant Land)
The Eleventh Doctor once gave the name Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart as a pseudonym. (Novel: Shroud of Sorrow)
Gemma, one of the Eighth Doctor’s companions, has called him Dad before, but the Doctor preferred to be called a cool uncle. (Audio: Terror Firma)
Turlough hates the cold and will complain if put in it. (Audio: Singularity)
The Sixth Doctor and Evelyn once thought they had accidentally cockblocked Julius Caesar's parents on the night of his conception. This meant that instead a baby girl named Julia was born, which Evelyn thought would be a brilliant chance to revolutionize the world. She kept trying to stop the Doctor from convincing Julius Caesar Sr. and Aurelia from hooking up at the proper time. Eventually, the two realize that 101 BC is before 100 BC and that they were doing this for no reason at all. (Audio: 100 BC)
The Spriggan was an alternate universe version of the Doctor, who terrorized a planet and used their youth to power his TARDIS. He even created an new Leela, but she fought him to protect the Tenth Doctor and threw him into the vortex. (Audio: Splinters)
The Galyari are a species of 8-foot tall reptiles that had extraordinary eyesight. Because of their exceptional vision, they found the Sixth Doctor to be literally painful to look at because of his coat. They were afraid of him and called him "the Sandman." (Audio: The Sandman)
The Tenth Doctor referred to the Seventh as the mysterious and manipulative type, the sort of rebellious phase someone goes through when they turn 1000 years old. (Novel: Legends of Camelot)
Joshua Douglas was a companion of the Third Doctor but stopped traveling with him after a disagreement. He was later killed while with the Fourth Doctor and Leela. (Audio: The Catalyst)
Mandy Litherland was incredibly fond of and sweet on the Ninth Doctor. After traveling to the past, she kissed the Doctor. The Doctor almost invited her to travel with him but didn't because he knew she probably wouldn't accept. (Audio: Auld Lang Syne)
Sometimes, when the Sixth Doctor is distressed and going off the deep end of his emotions, he has been known to break down in Evelyn's presence and cuddle with her. (Audio: Arrangements for War)
The Veil left the Twelfth Doctor a spade made of duralinum and a dwarf star alloy, which would have been strong enough to break the azbantium wall. The Doctor was wary of it, assuming it was a trap, and he used his fists on the wall instead. (Short story: The Veil)
Missy once saved the life of a young girl whose sister had asked her for help. She had stopped to rescue the child stuck high up while being chased by an assassin, without further witness, and without reward. The Doctor does not know of this. (Audio: The Chaos Cascade)
A young version of the Fifth Doctor post-Four to Doomsday once got displaced in time. Experiencing time slippage, he swapped places with his future selves and learned that Adric had died far too early. Eventually, he ended up in the body of an Auton duplicate the Master had made of the Doctor. He eventually faded away and died as the time slippage unraveled his past and his memories to an extent where he was running on his most basic desire: to save Adric. He had been convinced that if he was put back in his own time he could save him, and for that reason, the older Fifth Doctor refused to return him. (Audio: The Auton Infinity)

LMK VS Legend: Li Jing, Nezha, & Family
Finally thought I would do this with the debut of Li Jing and Nezha's more frequent appearances. These two needed their page.Li JIng I could not find much so I made it a family page.
Legend:
Li Jing is renowned throughout the Shang dynasty as a high-ranking commander officer of the Old Pond Pass. Throughout his past, Li Jing studied under Mount Kunlun and soon became a master of exceedingly fast underground travel. His wife is Lady Yin, and he has three sons.
His Wife:
Lady Yin: She played a prominent role in the nurture of Nezha. According to legend, she is said to be the incarnation of the second daughter of the Jade Emperor. Her full name is Yin Wuming in the Fengshen Yanyi, and it is called Lady Yin in the Ming dynasty religious book The Collection of Gods in Three Religions
His Sons:
Jinzha: A disciple of the superiorman Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun. Originally, Jinzha was one of the Five Great Wisdom Kings in Tibetan Buddhism, also known as Kuṇḍali or sometimes as the Ganlu Mingwang (甘露王), who was responsible for longevity, healing, purification, and exorcism. However, due to potential influences from folk literature, the name "軍吒" (Junzha or Junzhalili) was changed to "金吒" (Jinzha) to align with the character "木吒" (Muzha). In folk temple festivals, Jinzha is often referred to as the "Great Crown Prince of Tuotuo Tianwang" and is worshipped in temples along the southern coastal regions.
Muzha: He is a disciple of the Bodhisattvas Samantabhadra and Guanyin. Muzha is worshipped as a deity in Chinese folk religion, known as Muzha Tianzun.
Nezha: He is a protection deity in Chinese Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Chinese folk religion. His official Taoist name is "Marshal of the Central Altar" (中壇元帥). He was then given the title "Third Lotus Prince" (蓮花三太子) after he became a deity.
Story:
Nezha's mother, Lady Yin, gave birth to a ball of flesh after gestating for three years and six months. Li Jing thought his wife had given birth to a demon and attacked the ball with his sword.
Li Jing and Nezha's relationship began as rocky because Nezha is disobedient and short-tempered. Nezha would cause untold chaos and trouble in the future, such as that with the Eastern Sea Dragon King Ao Guang. Nezha kills the Dragon King's son and gains his wrath.
When Nezha was seven years old, he became sick of the summer heat, and decided to take a bath in the nearby Jiuwan Stream, using his Red Armillary Sash (混天绫) as a towel. It sent tremors through the water, shaking the East Sea Dragon King, Ao Guang's undersea palace.
A Yaksha, Li Gen, was sent to investigate the disturbance. Nezha insulted him, causing him to attack Nezha and being killed by his Universal Ring (乾坤圈). The Dragon King's soldiers reported Li Gen's death to him, and Ao Bing, his third son, volunteered to deal with Nezha. Nezha slew him in combat, then pulled out his tendons to make a belt for Li Jing.
When Ao Guang learned of his son's death, he transformed into a human scholar and went to Li Jing's residence to protest. Nezha admitted to killing Ao Bing and returned his tendons to Ao Guang, who told Li Jing he would file a complaint to the Jade Emperor.
Facing his parents' wrath, Nezha went to Taiyi Zhenren for help. He drew an invisibility talisman on Nezha and told him to ambush Ao Guang under the Heavenly Gate.
Nezha beat the Dragon King forcing him to turn into a small snake and returned to Chentang Pass with him.
Upon arrival, Ao Guang transformed back into his human form, proclaiming he would gather the other Dragon Kings of the Four Seas and report the Li family to the Jade Emperor.
Lady Yin then sent Nezha into the back garden. He climbed up the barbican, where he came across the Universal Bow (乾坤弓) and Sky Shaking Arrows (震天箭) of the Yellow Emperor, sitting on a weapon rack. Eager for some archery practice, he lifted the bow and shot an arrow into the air, which flew all the way to White Bone Cave and killed the Verdant Cloud Boy (碧云童子), an acolyte of Lady Shiji (石矶娘娘). Because Li Jing had carved his name onto the arrow, Shiji went to Chentang Pass, seized him, and took him back to her abode.
Li Jing explained to her that no one had been strong enough to lift the Yellow Emperor's bow since it was placed in Chentang Pass, and she allowed him to return to the pass to find the real culprit. When he learned that Nezha was responsible, he took his son back to the White Bone Cave to answer to Shiji. Nezha attacked her other acolyte and tried to fight Shiji, but had both of his weapons taken away, forcing him to flee to his master's abode. Taiyi Zhenren killed Shiji with the flames of the Nine Dragon Divine Bell Cover (九龙神火罩), reducing her to her true form: a rock.
Nezha was then informed that the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas, with the permission of the Jade Emperor, had come for his parents. Due to Nezha causing trouble in the Eastern Sea Dragon's Kingdom, Li Jing was required to give his life to Ao Guang if he did not sacrifice Nezha. But Nezha sacrificed himself, handing over his flesh to his parents.
Nezha then appeared in his mother's dream. In the dream, he asked her to build a temple for him, so that his soul would have a place to rest. His mother then secretly built a temple for Nezha, and this temple later flourished. This temple became well-known and grew vastly because Nezha granted miracle cures to the sick and the crippled.
Following the bitter luck attained with his third son, Li Jing burned the sacrificial temple, Lady Yin would be scolded by Li Jing profusely following this point.
However, due to the temple burning, this made Nezha wish to kill his father.
After Nezha was reincarnated, his body remade by his master Taiyi Zhenren, his father saw him and said, "You vermin! When you were my child, you caused untold calamities. Why do you reincarnate and disturb the peace?" Thus, a major conflict between Li Jing and Nezha began to unfold.
After battling Nezha, Li Jing soon realized that his mortal body did not match 1 to 100 compared to that of Nezha's. Thus, he ran as fast as he could underground in a state of incredible fear for his life.
Luckily, Li Jing happened to run into his second son, Muzha. Following Muzha's defeat by Nezha's hands, Li Jing tried to commit suicide. Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun ( a disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun and one of the Three Great Immortals, holding the fifth position among the Twelve Golden Immortals.) saved Li Jing's life and containing Nezha. Nezha was then forced to submit to his father after being restrained by another superiorman by the name of Randeng Daoren (renowned as the Superiorman of Mount Condor, Intuition Cave.)
[In popular culture, Nezha's killing of Li Gen and Ao Bing is often seen as a result of Ao Guang demanding young boys and girls from Chentang Pass as sacrifices. When the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas threatened to flood Chentang Pass in retaliation, Nezha committed suicide to save his family and the people. That plot is only found in the 1979 Shanghai Animation Film Studio movie, Nezha Conquers the Dragon King, and not in the Fengshen Yanyi novel or Qing dynasty opera adaptations.]
JTTW:
In Journey to the West, Nezha was a general under his father, "Pagoda-wielding Heavenly King" Li Jing. He fought the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, when the latter rebelled against the Jade Emperor.
They later became friends. Nezha made some appearances in the novel to help the four protagonists defeat powerful demons including his adoptive sister, Lady Earth Flow.
His origin story is different from the other legends. After he caused havoc in the Eastern Ocean, the Heavenly King had been so worried about the disastrous consequences that he decided to kill Nezha. Thus Nezha returned his flesh and blood to his mother and bones to his father. Then Nezha's soul went to the Buddha, who resurrected him. After, he used his vast powers to subdue 96 caves of demons through dharma. After this Nezha wanted to kill his father because he had to remove every piece of flesh and every stain of blood to return his bones to his father. The heavenly king had no choice but to seek help from the Buddha. The Buddha gave him an intricately made golden pagoda, in each story of which were Buddhas radiant with splendor. The Buddha told Nezha to regard these Buddhas as his father, thus ending the hatred between the father and the son and Li Jing earned the title of Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King.
In the JTTW Li Jing and Nezha gain another family member Lady Earth Flow.
Lady Earth Flow (地涌夫人) is a yaoguai who is actually a Golden-Nosed Albino Rat Spirit (金鼻白毛老鼠精) who obtained her powers after practising Taoist arts for 300 years and secretly consuming sacred candles at Vulture Peak. After she was captured by Li Jing and Nezha, she was supposed to be executed but the Buddha told them to spare her life. She was so grateful that she acknowledged Li Jing as her godfather and Nezha as her godbrother. Later, she moved to the Bottomless Pit (無底洞) at Flaming Air Mountain (焰空山) and armed herself with a pair of swords. When the protagonists pass by Black Pines Forest (黑松林), she disguises herself as a damsel in distress to attract Tang Sanzang's attention. Tang Sanzang takes pity on her and lets her accompany them to a nearby temple, but Sun Wukong sees through her guise. She eats six monks in the temple and captures Tang Sanzang when Sun Wukong and the others are distracted. Sun Wukong finds out her true identity later and brings Li Jing and Nezha to subdue her and take her back
[According to The Journey to the West, Nezha was born with the word Ne written on the palm of his left hand and zha on his right, hence his name.]
[In Journey to the West, Muzha became a disciple of Guanyin in the heavenly court, with the legal name Hui An. When he was ordered to conquer the sand demon, and later Sun Wukong lost to the Red Boy, Hui An borrowed 36 Tian Gang swords from his father Li Jing to help the Guanyin Bodhisattva conquer the Red Boy, making him a good boy under the Guanyin.]
LMK:
Ji Ling:
After the Brotherhood, Li Jing was assigned the responsibility of overseeing the Celestial Realm with the Jade Emperor gone. The universe was teetering on the brink of destruction due to the damage caused to the Pillar of Heaven by the Jade Emperor's demise.
Li Jing harbored concerns that Monkey King's actions could exacerbate the impending destruction of the universe.Monkey King challenged Li Jing, asserting that he couldn't be stopped, not even by the Celestial Pagoda. While Li Jing acknowledged the truth in Monkey King's claim, he swiftly subdued him by placing a circlet on his head. Ne Zha tried to intervene on their behalf, but Li Jing swiftly silenced him, putting an end to any further discussion.
After breaking out of prison, MK, Monkey King, and Macaque returned Megapolis where Li Jing caught up to them. Li Jing swiftly closed in on Monkey King, tightening the circlet around his head. Macaque intervened by teleporting both MK and Monkey King to safety inside the Team Power Truck. As they made their escape, Macaque was eventually overpowered by Li Jing, who imprisoned him in the Celestial Pagoda.
In Harbinger; Li Jing and Ne Zha met up with the Monkie Kids and Monkey King, where Li Jing believed that the Pillar of Heaven was now irreparable, leading them all to confront the reality of the universe's impending destruction as the Great Cycle approached its end. As Li Jing looked at Ne Zha, he felt a mix of pride and regret for not having more time to share with him.
When the World was saved; After some time, Li Jing saw Ne Zha leading the Celestial Warriors in the rebuilding of the Celestial Realm, and made him smile in approval.
Nezha:
Ne Zha is a heavenly deity from the Celestial Realm, serving as both a member of the Celestial Court and a guardian. A stern and responsible celestial. He is occasionally short-tempered, mostly in regards to the Monkey King, though is shown to be understanding and kind to MK. He is often seen being understandably exasperated and annoyed.
During the Monkey Kings attempt to reforge the Samadhi Fire to defeat Lady Bone Demon,Ne Zha tried to stop him too late due to Macaque's interference. Ne Zha discovered that Mei held one of the four fragments of the Samadhi Fire and teamed up with MK to prevent Monkey King from reaching Lady Bone Demon, but Monkey King was corrupted by her and defeated Ne Zha by encasing him in crystal. Ne Zha was eventually freed during the final battle with Lady Bone Demon and aided the Monkie Kids in destroying her.
Later, Red Son warned Ne Zha about the Brotherhood's plan to attack the Celestial Realm. Despite his best efforts, Ne Zha was overpowered and injured by the Brotherhood, seeking refuge on Flower Fruit Mountain with the Monkie Kids. After the final standoff with the Brotherhood, Ne Zha safeguarded the Power of the Jade Emperor in a seal and vowed to protect it.
During Season 5, he was a silent character till the end when he stopped his father from interfering with the Monkie Kids Crew.

Then Vs. Now
2019 - The first screenshot Viedyn was created to ensure I had a connection to FFXIV that would make me want to play. He was the older brother of another OC, Durafein, who was a Drow from a TTRPG.
Viedyn was originally a ranger type character who used a bow/arrow as well as a sword. In the "lore" I made for him he held a choke point during the fall of his noble house but he was eventually slain. FFXIV was meant to be some "other life, after life, reincarnation, whatever" but that incident was always going to be his past and his face was scarred to reflect that.
2021 - Timeline split I switched to DNC and moved to a "friends only" FC that wanted to interact with Viedyn's character. So he sort of got his own "What If?" episode where he escaped the fall of his house. I tried to force "dancer" to fit his lore. It was a huge stretch and a big part of me regrets it. However it works for AU purposes, my FC needed a "softer" version of him.
2024 - What then should have been He's been reverted to his "canon/living" state. To better reflect his protective role within his house he wears heavy black armor and fights with a sword and shield. He wears a silver circlet to mark his position as the right hand of the Matron as well as (essentially) Captain of the house guard/troops.
The scars on his face have been removed, his hair has been cut short for combat, and his eyes have been changed to an "icy" blue to reflect the descriptions I've written of him as well as his canon personality. Thank you @vmbral for tagging me!

Enter: the End?
My piece for @trafficzine! Check out the full zine for the properly formatted version.
—☾—
FADE IN:
EXT. SECRET KEEPER — MID-DAY
WE OPEN with a greyscale montage of the events leading up to the scene.
SCOTT sacrifices himself to GEM against the SECRET KEEPER’s stony shroud. GEM lowers her head, grief briefly savored, before taking position on top of the boulders that make up the SECRET KEEPER’s shoulders, shooting at the faraway figures of SCAR and PEARL. GEM’s eyes shine, but her mouth is set in a hard, determined line. With one last release of an arrow, GEM steps off the rock, slings her bow across her back, and breaks into a run.
CUT TO:
EXT. OPEN FIELD — AFTERNOON
WE’RE SHOWN an establishing shot of the grassy field behind the SECRET KEEPER. Its surface slopes in gentle hills and the far end borders the lake. Various bases can be seen ringing the edges. The sky overhead is clear, but the early winter air brings a bite.
GEM, a general lacking her army, a red name with mismatched eyes, trudges forward, stopping at the center of the field beside a gnarled oak tree.
GEM
(To herself)
I don’t think I can fight Pearl. I think Pearl wins this.
In the distance, PEARL and SCAR are splotches of red and black.
GEM
Pearl has a lot of hearts.
GEM holds her SHIELD closer to her body and tightens her grip on her SWORD as she watches PEARL, a fiercely loyal ally turned teamless, and SCAR, a smooth-tongued salesman with nothing to lose, draw closer. The pair sports matching bloodlust on their faces, eager to end this.
GEM straightens up. She loosens the tension from her shoulders and steadies the tremble in her hands. GEM knows that this may very well be her demise. She doesn’t plan on going down without a fight.
PEARL stops at the top of the squat hill GEM is standing beneath, and raises her BOW. Her expression is layered as she aims at her friend-turned-foe, her exhale a puff of steam. PEARL has chosen her victor, and she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure he wins.
PEARL
Don’t make me do this, Gem!
PEARL shoots, and GEM ducks behind the tree with a grunt.
GEM
Pearl! I’m not making you do anything!
PEARL
You’re making me do this right now!
PEARL continues to shoot as GEM sprints away.
GEM
What are you doing? We were friends!
PEARL:
(Overlapping)
I don’t know! I don’t know, Gem!
GEM twists to the side and throws an ENDER PEARL, and after a moment she disappears in a poof of purple particles, teleported into the lake. GEM swims up and breaks the surface at shore, SCAR running up to meet her.
SCAR
(Through a sharp grin)
Hi, Gem!
GEM strikes SCAR with her sword, her motions quick and brutal. SCAR stumbles, but is fast to recover. Their swords clash together as they exchange blows, whittling down each other’s rows of hearts. PEARL races to join the action.
PEARL
Gem, do you wanna sword this out with me right now?
SCAR and GEM continue their fight. GEM’s sword snags against SCAR’s poncho and tears the fabric. SCAR grimaces as the blade reaches flesh, and deep red stains the poncho darker.
PEARL
(With a shrug)
Oh, you’re gonna sword this out with Scar right now.
GEM’s WOLVES charge into battle in defense of their master, biting at SCAR’s heels. PEARL leaps into the fray, landing in front of GEM, her sword clanging against GEM’s shield. PEARL darts to GEM’s side to slice at her unprotected flank, and SCAR draws back in at the front.
GEM
(Scoffing)
2 vs 1? Oh, you guys are gross.
GEM retreats, throwing down LAVA in her wake. The edges of it lick at her cape, and GEM must use her WATER BUCKET to extinguish herself.
SCAR continues his pursuit, getting momentarily caught in the spilt water, but it doesn’t slow him for long. With a long sweep of the arm, SCAR thrusts his sword forward, stealing more of GEM’s hearts with a stab.
GEM
You guys are gross!
GEM meets SCAR’s next move with a parry of her own, PEARL standing off to the side, close enough to provide backup if needed, but letting GEM and SCAR fight. SCAR’s next attempt lands, and a sharp gasp is forced from GEM’s throat. GEM staggers back a step, and SCAR uses the opportunity to close the distance between them, slashing once, twice, three times. GEM’s moves become desperate as she returns the blows but is unable to block, taking as many hits as she lands.
PEARL
C’mon Scar, you've got this. You’ve got this!
With a final arc of his sword, SCAR defeats GEM, the remainder of her hearts depleted. WE SEE thunder CRACK across the cloudless sky and WE HEAR thunder BOOM as GEM’s body vanishes.
CUT TO:
INT. COTTAGE — AFTERNOON
For SCAR and PEARL, the game is not yet over. But for GEM, her time has come; lives bled dry.
WE SEE a brief flash of GEM’s cottage interior, empty and eerie, that pulls out through the window into an OVERVIEW of the surrounding area, SWEEPING ACROSS the cherry blossom grove, its cottages and farms marred by destruction, before PANNING OUT to the rest of the server. The camera ZOOMS IN on the SECRET KEEPER, shrouded in shadow despite the sun, and with one final thunderous BOOM, the screen FADES TO BLACK.
FADE OUT:

I don't want another warrior training like we've already had in the former books, but aside from training her Seer abilities, I can also see Elain having some basic and necessary training both for self-defence and to become a spy disguised as an emissary of the NC (because she can definitely be both at the same time). And I definitely see Nuala and Cerridwen + Az, and maybe even her sisters, teaching her a thing or two about how to properly wield a knife outside the kitchen - on her own terms and choice ofc.
Feyre was the bow and arrow, Nesta is the sword, and Elain is definitely the "knife in the dark" (just like Azriel).
I can totally see her carrying a knife/dagger as her weapon of choice under all her beautiful dresses like...
I don't think Elain, nor any other female character (especially in the Maasverse tbh) will lose her "soft femininity" just because she learns how to wield a blade. I think what they choose to do with that blade is what makes the difference.
None of them likes violence itself (except for probably mostly the Illyrians), but they sometimes have to resort to it because they need to. Knowing how to handle a blade doesn't necessarily mean it's for violence or to kill - but to defend, protect and save lives just like she did with Nessian vs Hybern.
She may have some lingering trauma from that incident to process, but I think Elain will see that having a dagger around at times is actually useful and easy enough to hide - and the perfect weapon of spies.
Maybe not even just for self-defence but for random pruning, carving, and slicing things in her garden and kitchen lol... It can be subtle and unexpected, but useful and sharp enough when needed - just like her.
No matter what happens to Truth-teller after HOFAS, I still think daggers and knives will come to play for both Az and Elain.
Maybe he'll even gift her a secret, lovely dagger of her own next Solstice... 😏
So that she can...
... in front of Az so he can momentarily forget the existence of air and have something new to fantasize and be tormented about at night 🤭 Like "Call me a mistake one more time, you jackAz" 😏 loljk
Yes, I'm getting carried away.
I can see so many possibilities and potentials for Elain.
She has repeatedly shown the will of becoming more useful and not like how she herself realised and admitted to being like in the first book (because character development, duh). And since she's starting to "show some claws" I think she'll also want to learn how to really fend for herself and not always have to rely on others, especially not Az (not after that Solstice incident) nor her sisters to always come and save her.
She likes domestic things and is the only one among her sisters who is actually good and useful at it, she's a Cauldron-blessed Seer (and now likely also Koschei's next target), but she also has hinted unexplored potential for something besides all that - the stealth, shadows, and secret-keeping = spywork.
She's the perfect housewife-spy like those in WW2 that SJM herself referred to.
Introverts like Elain are always underestimated observers and always so easily dismissed as boring just because their mouths aren't as open as their minds.
Elain knows how to surprise and I think she definitely will again in her book.
Especially with something sharp at your throat the next time you call her boring and useless.
She's the perfect knife in the dark. A beautiful rose with thorns. A thing of secret, lovely beauty. 🌹🗡✨😌
#Can you tell I just watched this film and still somehow thought of Elriel and then got carried away lol#I also want Elain in more blue dresses to drive Az nutts#elain is NOT useless nor boring#spy elain#pro elain archeron#my elain#hi i wrote this at 1 am#elain archeron#elain archeron coded

Silly Game Time: WEIRD GLADIATOR FIGHTS! The mythic archer Robin Hood ... except he only has a standard broadsword. No bow and no arrows (and no armor, either). VS The legendary knight Lancelot ... except he only has a morningstar mace. No lance and no shield (and no horse or armor, either).
You have $5 to wager on the winner (no split wagers). Place your bets!
.... so we got Robin Hood with a sword and Lancelot with A morning star.
Lancelot is gonna throw the star and loose it on the battle ground, be defenseless, and loose.
Giving my 5 dollars to Robin Hood.

I like how when Red suggests watching their "Wild Trick Shots" video on YouTube so everyone can get a better view, while Yellow and Blue are ecstatic about the idea, Second and Green are just like, "Oh, okay," and "Sure, I guess...," possibly remembering the incident they had in Animation vs. YouTube.
----------------
The video tools used as the Stick Gang's weapons of choice:
Red using his own fists in combat
Yellow's command block staff
Blue's bow and arrow
Second's pen
Although can someone help me with Green's? Is it supposed to represent a sword or trident or spear or something? Because these are the only things I could come up with, even though the tool definitely doesn't resemble anything like them.
----------------
And they used their basketball trick shot to defeat the corrupted video file figure! Should the explosion count as a parallel, too?
Bonus:
"Hey, Green, can you get my good side as well?"
- Red, probably
He's such a silly and I love him for it

I don't know If these kinds of topics are okay for you to do a reading on it but can you please do a reading between Jungwon and higher ups from the company.
I get Queen of Pentacles for Jungwon all the time and I think that person's intentions are not very good in my opinion. (I get the feeling that there is an exchange, like If you want to have opportunities, than you have to take part in some "activities" )
I wonder how is the energy for you
Oh darling. This reading was very unsurprising with what came out in my opinion. I definitely broke down everything for anyone else who wants to end up reading this and doesn't understand interpretation of the cards. But also I'm unsurprised. Again I'm going to have to do a deep dive reading to an extent is probably be multiple Parts about this company in general. Because I honestly bang PD should have never created a company and if he did he definitely shouldn't have been the main one in charge he just doesn't have the right energy to do so. But yeah there's definitely been conflict with him and the company in general not just like specific higher-ups but like kind of clashing with what he wants as a leader and what he knows his group needs versus what the company wants them to do and go about things. He's also really stepping into his leadership role and becoming a leader kind of like RM and the company does not like that because it means that he is asking questions and for honestly right and things that they should have as artists. That they really just like are not willing to want to give him but a more in depth breakdown of the cards that I pulled in the vibes let's get into it.
“Jungwon vs The Machine?”
A tarot reading with Nyx to help get as much as the truth as possible and uncover that which happens in the dark.
the general vibe:
The second "Not Like Us" popped into my head, I already knew this was going to be filled with tension and messy.
Think: young leader with wisdom beyond his years vs a towering system that wants to run like a factory.
This reading?
Soft rebellion. Strategy. Soul tired. Plotting. A quiet but strong push for change.
The Main Feeling: Jungwon wants balance, they want output.
He’s being pulled between:
Wanting to protect the health and spirit of his members (Four of Swords reversed, Ten of Wands, Queen of Cups reversed)
And being expected to keep the engine running at full speed (Eight of Pentacles reversed, Ace of Arrows, Chariot, Justice upright & reversed)
He’s learning that caring doesn’t mean surrendering, but it does make conflict harder.
Cards decoded in normal-person terms:
The Wanderer reversed: He’s NOT ALLOWED to take a leap of faith. He wants freedom, but keeps getting reeled back in.
Blasted Oak reversed + Tower upright: There’s a blow-up coming or already happened. Either he internally snapped, or he’s reconstructing who he is as a leader.
Justice upright + reversed: He wants to make things fair... but he’s hitting walls.
POWER IMBALANCE.
Seven of Pentacles reversed + Knight of Swords: He’s impatient now. Done waiting for things to get better slowly.
Seven of Swords reversed: He’s trying to play the game, but it’s draining his spirit. He doesn’t want to lie, but he’s being strategic.
Internal Conflict:
The Moon reversed, Four of Cups reversed: He sees through the illusions now. He’s not hypnotized by fame or praise anymore. Not falling for their empty promises.
Nine of Arrows (dedication) reversed: BURNOUT. BIG TIME.
Five of Wands + King of Bows reversed: Arguments, disagreements, and probably some ego clashes behind the scenes. He may be seen as " Too young to challenge things”—but he’s got that sharp sword of truth (Ace of Swords).
Queen of Swords: He’s becoming more direct, less soft-spoken. He’s learning how to speak like a grown leader, not just a gentle one.
What's motivating him?
Six of Cups + Knight of Cups: PURE LOVE FOR THE GROUP AND THE FANS. That’s the core. Not control, not image love.
Son of Life + Three of Vessels (Joy): He wants to see everyone shine. He wants members to have joy, not just survival.
The World Tree + Wheel of Fortune: He knows his purpose in this group. He’s not aimless. And he’s learning to work with fate, not against it.
Is he trying to gain leverage or protect his group more?
YES.
He’s watching, studying, listening. He’s not out here throwing punches.
He’s planning moves like chess. Queen of Wands + Page of Pentacles reversed =
"If I can’t change the system, I’ll outsmart it.”
OVERALL
Jungwon isn’t trying to overthrow anyone.
He’s growing into the kind of leader who demands respect, not just applause. But it's starting to rub some of the higher-ups at the company the wrong way.
He’s tired of being polite when it risks people’s well-being. Also upset with the fact that even though he was chosen as a leader some of the higher-ups seem to still be belittling him or seeing him as being too young to know what would be best for HIS group.
He wants agency. Space. Truth. Time. Rest.
And if he has to fight quietly, cleverly, and patiently He Will.
If you’re a fan, here’s what to know:
He’s thinking five steps ahead.
He feels the pressure, but he hasn’t cracked.
He knows this industry isn’t soft but he’s trying to make it more then just survivable.
I said I was going to make a break today but then again it's also like 10:30 at night currently so I feel like it counts. But I did end up seeing this ask and like I said I definitely want to do like a series on how I feel about this company. Like I have issues with all of the companies in general but this one their energy is just so fucking off it drives me insane when some not all but some of the fans of this company are so blindsided by them but it also makes sense. I did a reading years ago when I was a bigger fan of BTS and what I'm saying big fan of BTS I mean even to this day I own every single album they have ever came out with like that's how big of a fan I was as a teenager and as an adult I was still a really big fan I've seen them in concert like several times I've flown to other countries to watch them I have family members that are huge fans of theirs. But I've always felt off about bang PD and I've definitely done readings over the years about him and none of them are ever the best. But one thing that is damn sure is that that man is pretty darn manipulative and he's really good at getting what he wants but it normally comes with backlash. And again you can take this with a grain of salt this is just the Vibes that I've gotten personally and from the tarot readings I have done on him and I feel like it definitely seeps into his company and the way he runs things. I feel like this is one of those companies outside of like SM where there's so much inner conflict it's kind of ridiculous the only difference is with SM they had LSM who was like a buffer for a long time between the artist and then the corporate people because again he was the bridge for that while with bang PD he's trying to have his hand in every fucking pot he's trying to be a producer he's trying to also be in charge of the business even though he has no clue what he's doing business wise he's trying to create a certain illusion here and there where everywhere and because of that it kind of makes him to this weird web of a mess.

All New Void Weapons for Episode: Heresy, Reviewed and Discussed In-Depth
This will contain spoilers for weapons released in later acts, if they're visible in the API. This is from the perspective of an endgame challenge player, so I won't be entertaining much in the way of "neat fun rolls," since what's fun for me isn't necessarily what's fun for you and vice-versa. I'll mention them where especially noteworthy, especially if the weapon doesn't have any genuinely good rolls. This is going to be a series split up into one post for all six damage types, because of tumblr's length limitation.
ADMETUS-D
Admetus-D has access to some neat elemental synergy perks, but with a 150 RPM and a high zoom stat, you might encounter some clunk if you try to use this thing as your room clear. Withering Gaze is viable, but is objectively numerically better on other weapon types. If you want it on a primary, though, this is the best option. Your 3rd column is rife with ways to improve the responsiveness of the weapon, and I recommend Keep Away or Rapid Hit interchangeably. I've opted for Rapid Hit, as it synergizes directly with my 4th column recommendation. The recommendation in question is Precision Instrument; while other perks have potentially higher ceilings and higher floors, I prefer the consistency and ease-of-use you get from Prinstrument. This is where I want you to ignore everything I've said in my other entries about how the era of plinking majors from across the map is over. Recommended Use Case: Plinking majors from across the map.
AFTERLIGHT
Discord on a fusion is exciting, and I get the impression this is explicitly the roll they wanted you to use. The origin trait Willing Vessel interacts uniquely with Fusions and Combat Bows, granting improved charge time for dealing damage until the weapon is stowed. The "until the weapon is stowed" part is a tragedy, since we'll be abusing Discord, but it's still a free bonus for doing nothing. On the dev stream for Act II, they suggested running Ambitious Assassin with Reservoir Burst for a DPS option, but there's simply better things to do than use an Adaptive Fusion for DPS in the first place. Lead/Vorpal is also here, if you like starting your day with lightly toasted multigrain bread with nothing on it. Recommended Use Case: This is your "room go boom" fusion. No Chain Reaction like you'd find on VS Gravitic Arrest, but Reservoir Burst might genuinely be superior for the added damage bonus. Proc Discord to trigger Seven Seconds in Heaven.
ANAMNESIS
I know I said I won't highlight fun rolls, but you need to let me have this. If I'm interpreting these interactions correctly, Anamnesis is Purple Hush. I don't have exact numbers on Willing Vessel just yet, but Successful Warmup/Impulse Amplifier should put you somewhere in the .4 second reload, .2 second draw time range. I'll be heartbroken if these numbers are secretly capped. If you want a more orthodox roll, Archer's Tempo with either Sword Logic or Explosive Head will cook. There's also Dragonfly/Demoralize and Repulsor/Destabilizing Rounds. There's plenty of other bows that can do room clear, and plenty of other weapons that can do Repulsor/Destabilizing, but no other bows that can do what Anamnesis (hypothetically) can do. Recommended Use Case: Either put a lot of purple on your screen, or put a lot of arrows on the other guys.
CORRECTIVE MEASURE
Unreasonable gun. Kind of goofy. Deeply unnecessary. This is quite possibly the single most potent ad clear legendary in the game for sheer damage output, with Destabilizing Rounds/Killing Tally ensuring nothing can even look at you without turning purple and immediately dissolving like a powerpoint slide. Rewind Rounds/High Impact reserves could potentially be funny, Subsistence/One For All is there if you're Born In The Wrong Generation about Beyond Light, and the unique interaction of Elemental Honing and Firefly is very cool. Firefly triggers Solar damage, regardless of the alignment of the weapon that triggers it. Not terribly useful, but it's something to keep an eye out for on future weapons. Recommended Use Case: Shred through waves of enemies with Destabilizing Rounds and Killing Tally. The lack of a reload perk isn't really a problem, I promise you'll have the free time to reload once your mag is empty.
EXALTED TRUTH
MY BABY. MY SWEET BABY ANGEL. MY SACRED TREASURE. MY PURPLE SUNSHOT. With a stat package fitting of a Trials drop and an unbelievably juiced perk pool, it's not easy to go wrong with Exalted Truth. The Suros model and origin trait work with the statline to make this gun feel so slick and smooth to use that I'm always a little worried it might slip out of my hands when I fire it. Your PvE options in the first column are relatively limited, as it's mostly QoL and weapon feel perks, but the 3rd column has One for All, Demoralize, and Repulsor Brace to choose from. Repulsor is just a better Heal Clip, but I ran with Demoralize, as the Weaken being a debuff and not a weapon buff allows your Volatile to inherit the effects, whereas One for All will strictly benefit your weapon damage.
Recommended Use Case: Void synergy workhorse. Can be used subclass agnostic, but the Void perks aren't optional. I run this thing on my Solar Warlock all the time, damage is damage.
EYES UNVEILED
I don't know who Eyes Unveiled is for. Withering Gaze is at its strongest on Fusions, but Eyes Unveiled has a lower charge time than the superior Gravitic Arrest and Glacioclasm, while not having any significant damage contribution to make up for the inconvenience. The perk pool makes me think Bungie intended for this to be an ad clear option, which is legitimately baffling. I'd have a lot more to say on this weapon if Discord was in the 3rd column, but I understand why Bungie is hesitant to put Discord on power weapons.
Recommended Use Case: Farm for a pinnacle drop of this and infuse it into your crafted Taipan.
JOXER'S LONGSWORD
Heavy Burst Pulses have some of the best damage profiles against minor enemies, and we'll be taking advantage of that innate strength by foregoing real damage perks in favour of hard utility and wave clear. (Typing that felt familiar, have I already said that about a different weapon before? Real question.) As a playlist weapon, the Longsword gives you an absurdly deep perk pool, with a lot of enticing options like Demolitionist/Destabilizing Rounds or Shoot to Loot/Desperate Measures. Dragonfly/One for All can output a monstrous amount of damage with free perk triggers, but ultimately I think Weaken is more valuable, since your base damage is already high enough on a Heavy Burst. This is largely personal preference, though! I'm split 50/50 on it myself, and may need to write a follow-up post to this once I land a roll of both of these. Recommended Use Case: Midrange wave clear. Focus on eliminating the little guys that spawn with your real target, and take advantage of the long-range Weaken to use a strong Kinetic special to clean up. Try pairing it with Izanagi's Burden.
LOTUS-EATER
i think i huave covid Lotus-Eater finally rounds out our Rocket-Assisted Frame roster with one of the best sidearms yet. While Tinasha's Mastery and Aberrant Action lean more towards utility, Lotus-Eater is formally a primary weapon. It has access to strong utility perks in Shoot to Loot/Withering Gaze, but there are more reliable options for both of these. I have my eyes on the classic void combo here, as the Destabilizing Rounds changes make Repulsor Brace a direct upgrade to Heal Clip. Adrenaline Junkie is enticing for Void Warlocks, being one of your strongest options for Contraverse synergy. I won't be able to settle on just owning one of these. Recommended Use Case: This is your primary weapon in a double special setup. A strong Kinetic exotic like Witherhoard, Arbalest (once we're out of a barrier sidearm episode) or Izanagi will cover your burst damage weakness, and still leave an opening for something like Eager Edge for convenience. I'll be using this in Rite of The Nine later this episode for sure.
THE TITLE
Losing out on Attrition Orbs from last year is unfortunate, but the new Destabilizing Rounds makes this less of a hit than it would have been otherwise. Classy Contender makes this a relatively strong option on the likes of Briarbinds Warlocks, Gyrfalcon Hunters, and Overshield Titans. Our 3rd column leans towards weapon feel and PvP for the most part, but Repulsor Brace is in a very good spot right now. I promise I'll have more exciting things to say for our next weapon, I can only phrase "Repulsor Brace is Better Heal Clip and the rework makes Destabilizing Rounds no longer bait" in so many different ways. If you only take one thing away from this let it be "Repulsor Brace is just Better Heal Clip." Recommended Use Case: Poor base stats are pretty demanding, to the point where I'd maybe recommend using one of those PvP perks for lower-end content rolls. Juice reload where you can, as your base reload is upwards of two seconds long. Ouch.
UNVOICED
Unvoiced is simply dominant. The situations it can be applied in are relatively sparse, but whenever that situation presents itself you can expect to see Unvoiced putting up an unrivaled performance. With Redirection and Bait and Switch both active, you'll be seeing double damage on every shot from an already high burst damage archetype. If this perk combo shows up on something any less restrictive than a slug shotgun I will be upset. Unvoiced is ammo-inefficient due to the need to set up Redirection, but Special Finisher renders this a non-issue. Recommended Use Case: Yes. The times it'll shine are few and far between, and at the moment it's being kept muzzled by Lord of Wolves being easier to get and use for a better performance, but keep an eye on this freak of nature.

@ajscico you sent in another post so I'm sending a snippet about Sky vs Fierce Deity here!!
They were doomed. Time was possessed by some evil demon, the helix blade was menacing on it’s own, but the speed he moved while using it? Forget red potions, they’d lose their arms before reaching their bags. Only Sky’s lightning-fast reflexes were able to keep the blade from cutting Legend’s neck at least three times in the past minute. He could hear the weirdo mage cackling, spinning his staff and whatever that was, it made -Time- the demon possessing Time roar loudly. Damn those cultists from Hyrule’s time, the traveler had some explanation to give about his blood bringing back Ganon but while they were trapped fighting their possessed leader, that’d be a talk for another day. If they lived another day. “Vet, I have a plan. But I need your help.” He was panting, the blood coming from the cut above his eyebrow closing one of his eyes “I can hold him for three minutes, but I’ll be down after it. Get the mage and break that shit.” And well, Sky cursing was a bad sign all on its own. He nodded, half a plan was better than nothing, but how did-? “Three minutes.” he said again, taking the cork of a bottle with a shiny liquid “Starting now.” he took a large gulp, before closing it and shoving it down his pouch. “Go!” The demon roared again. Sky held the master sword with both hands, standing in front of him, making himself a target. He dived for the demon while Legend jumped behind some rocks, trying to get out of its sight. 00:10 Legend took some deep breaths, checking the corner of the rock. The idiot was moving, the more he waved that wand the more ferocious Time became. He pulled a bow and a bomb arrow taking aim. It missed, the lunatic locked eyes with him. A dark orb was sent his way and he jumped from behind the rocks, feeling small pieces hit his back as he ran. 00:30

RWBY AU Reboot prompt
It’ll be based around Summer returning to life and making her own purpose in the world, while also coming to terms with her own morality. She is mostly based on Bigby Wolf and loosely on Odysseus here, as is the summary of the AU. She also has another daughter who is more or less a clone (ala Solid Snake). This daughter is the oldest out of the three sisters (Ruby, Yang, and this character) and she is based on Odysseus’s son: Telemachus.
What's changing?
Summer's status and what she's based on. She's dead for most of this and trying to get back to Remnant. She's based on Odysseus of the Odyssey and Bigby Wolf of Fables.
Lumiere's status. She's dead too and does not become a Hound Grimm.
The story. The show's story from V1 to V9 sticks. Summer's story is very disconnected from it and Remnant as a whole, up until she returns.
Additional Relationships and OCs. Summer has a clone who is being raised by Raven. This clone is an OC named Shadow Rose and is fittingly based on Telemachus from the Odyssey. Shadow will also have armor similar to that of Halo's Mjolnir armor as a tribute to Red VS Blue.
Changed Relationships (Team). Summer's relationship with her team is...strained. She romantically loves Raven, but Raven wasn't ready for that level of trust, until it was too late. Summer feels like she was betraying both Raven and Taiyang during her time with Tai. Summer only saw Qrow as a brother-figure, much to the latter's dismay.
Changed Relationships (Daughters). Summer struggles with Ruby and Yang and Shadow. She feels like a failure for dying on them (in Shadow's case, she had no idea Shadow existed and is grateful Raven raised her). She also feels like Ruby and Yang are making the same mistakes as she and her team did and not learning from their mistakes.
Equipment. Summer has a simple bow (indestructible) and arrow (infinite ammo, but finite dust resources). She also wields the relic: The Sword Of Destruction.
Forms. Summer can only transform through her semblance, which works like Bigby's transformations in The Wolf Among Us game.
Abilities. Summer only has her semblance to help her now (excluding her weapons).
What's sticking?
Summer's biology and heritage. She's still Queen of Vale and the daughter of Sombre and Lumiere. She's the unwitting descendant of Salem. She's got Grimm and SEW blood in her.
Summer's friendships and uncles. I should point out that her uncles' divine power are stuck in the afterlife and are acting as if the Brother Gods never reincarnated.
Summer's characterization. By this, I mean how I have interpreted her. She's still someone with a heart of gold, but she is very much a dark hero, almost a borderline antihero. She's still kind and gentle, but is fierce and dangerous when necessary.
Summer's attitude to her semblance. She's very wary of it and scared that she might lose control. But by eventually embracing it, she's not only much stronger, but also in much more control.
Summer taking matters into her own hands. Let's be honest, Remnant is fucked and Summer has had enough of the bullshit, so she's taking charge.
What's this about?
Storytime!
NOTE: The Spirit in the Sword is constantly guiding Summer and is essentially Summer's ancestor.
Details below the line. Long.
FIRST ACT: Land Of Death
Summer discovers that she's in the afterlife. She struggles with her memories, before discovering her old ax and the Sword Of Destruction. She then falls into depression as she understands that she won't see her family and friends for ages.
Summer has been traveling the afterlife for a while. She spots Ozpin, who tells her what's going on. From this...and Roman's threats (including Ironwood), Summer begins forming a crew to get back to Remnant and prevent a global catastrophe.
Her first trial is to get some of the dead to join her. She manages to do so by promising that those who are content with the afterlife can return after she leaves. She quickly subdues any current opposition, before getting various ships and equipment ready.
SECOND ACT: The Ever After
Summer and co arrive at an island to resupply. This island is the Ever After and the group is able to resupply in exchange. Summer ultimately trades her old ax for a simple, yet powerful, bow and arrow and gives her true alias: Queen Ithica Róza.
Giving her true proves to be a mistake as Summer and co are soon under attack. She ultimately uses her semblance, forcing the enemy to retreat before her mothers' spirits subdue her for her own sake. Unfortunately, this got the God of Darkness's attention.
The God of Darkness (the remnant of him) shows himself to the crew, judging Summer for her attempts at mercy. He then attempts to decimate the ships, before Summer manages to get her crew to escape, much to the God and the Ever After's dismay.
THIRD ACT: Betrayal And Retribution
Summer and co reach what some might consider Hell. Some of the crew are taken, as this is where they're supposed to be. Summer attempts to join them out of building guilt, only for Hell to respectfully reject her, claiming she's got a good heart.
Sombre and Lumiere both teach Summer how to use and control her semblance, with mixed results. In the background though, there is a coup being planned, starting with Summer, Sombre, and Lumiere's capture and imprisonment.
During the coup, the crew pillages various islands and towns. Summer and her mothers manage to break free...just in time for the God of Light to descend. He gives Summer a chance to escape, before decimating the crew with divine lightning.
FOURTH ACT: The Last Stop
Summer wakes up on a golden beach with her mothers. Summer is both heartbroken and enraged from being betrayed, causing her semblance to run rampant. Sombre and Lumiere spend more of their time finding and returning her to normal.
Sombre and Lumiere ultimately help Summer recover and talk about themselves, revealing Salem as being related to Summer. They also teach Summer that she's more than her heritage and abilities, helping Summer accept all of herself.
The Brother Gods descend upon the family as Summer discovers that this is her last stop. She finally stands up for herself and threatens the Gods, convincing them out of fear to let her family go. She hugs her mothers one more time, before leaving.
FIFTH ACT: The Return Home
Summer finds herself alive and well...and in Vale. She ultimately makes contact with her uncles, reuniting with them and explaining what happened. They're overjoyed that their niece has returned home, yet concerned for what will happen in the afterlife.
They manage to bring Summer to the old castle without anyone noticing. It's not long before they manage to coronate her as Vale's new queen. She messages the huntsman in Vale (especially Beacon) to prepare for war and to take back Beacon.
She ultimately explains that she has to leave and reunite with friends and family, explaining that she needs a lot of help for this. Her uncles understand, promising that they will ensure Vale's safety and preparation until her return.
SIXTH ACT:
Summer heads to Menagerie, finding Kali and Ghira. They reminisce on old times, before Summer explains her journey. The faunus couple agree to help as much as possible, before giving Summer clothes to disguise herself from the public.
Summer travels to Vucuo, keeping herself hidden before encountering Willow. The two discuss their failures and what they plan to do differently, before Willow agrees to help, introducing Summer to Ruby and Yang's other friends.
Summer uses her semblance to help her old and new friends against a Grimm attack. Summer proves to be stronger, monstrous, and more in control than ever. And she confesses that it feels right. She's a protector, yes, but she's a dark hero.
SEVENTH ACT: Struggling Family Matters
Summer ultimately heads to Mistral, encountering Raven and discovering Shadow. There's a lot of tears and explanations, with Raven asking Summer for another chance. Summer warmly accepts the invitation and spends time with her family.
Summer, Raven, and Shadow head to Patch and encounter Taiyang and Qrow. There's hostility and Summer has to use her semblance to calm things down. There's a lot of talking and regret, before Summer makes it clear how they should act from here on.
STRQ, Zwei, and Shadow encounter RWBY and Jaune. There's some conflict, but Shadow manages to subdue it, much to Summer and Raven's pride. Summer reunites with her youngest daughters, though there is obvious tension in her.
EIGHTH ACT: Rekindling And Healing
Everyone ultimately reunites and rekindles relationships. Blake with her parents, Weiss with her siblings and mother, and Jaune with his family and team. Summer and her family talk amongst each other privately, with Summer being honest about her feelings.
Shadow manages to get Ruby and Yang to apologize to each other and be more honest with each other, before the three sisters have fun. Summer apologizes to her friends and family for failing and dying on them, receiving comfort and forgiveness from them.
Summer chooses to reveal her true identity to everyone present, explaining her plans; not just for Vale, but for Remnant as a whole. Her friends and family think she's lost it, before she dares them to challenge her. Ultimately, they yield, bow, and swear loyalty to her.
NINTH ACT: Vale, To War
The battle to take back Beacon starts off smart, with Vale and Vucuo forces stealthing their way inside on land. Atlas and Mistral forces await Summer's command by air. So far, things go well and the forces are able to take back control of the school and comms.
However, things go south as another coup begins and Summer's friends and family suffer serious injuries as a result. Summer goes full Odysseus here and slaughters the traitors with Shadow providing valuable assistance, both combat and medical support.
The Grimm Wyvern that's been at Beacon since V3 reawakens with the aid of Cinder and Salem's underlings. Summer uses all of her semblance and might to bring it down, along with the rest of Salem's tools and pawns, leaving carnage in her victorious path.
FINAL ACT: Queen VS Goddess
Unable to sit still knowing that her family and friends are targeted by Salem, Summer goes off alone into the Land of Darkness. She ultimately doesn't know where the Crown of Choice is and, frankly, doesn't care. She swiftly destroys the Lamp and Staff.
Enraged by Summer's actions, Salem engages in a brutal and vicious fight. The two fight as humanoids, before Salem transforms into a dragon, with Summer using her semblance to match it. The two then reach a standstill as both are exhausted.
Summer's uncles manage to invoke the remaining traces of their divine power, before terminating Salem and Ozma's curses, causing them to permanently die and be powerless. They then use the Sword of Destruction to destroy it and the Crown of Choice.
EPILOGUE ACT: One's Inner Peace.
Summer returns to Vale, before bidding goodbye to her uncles one more time. She then reunites with her family and friends, reassuring them that Salem and Ozma are both gone. Despite the good news, there is no celebration out of disbelief and wariness.
As the search for any traces of Salem's forces continue, Summer has a private talk with her family with one question: Is she still the same Summer they know and love? They firmly assure her that even though her heart's darkened, she's still their Summer Rose.
Life continues on with Summer ruling Vale. Peace and Alliances between humans and faunus are made, truly making them equals. Atlas and Mantle are repaired and given new life, as well as Beacon. RWBY and JNR are given the chance to properly graduate.
