Star war rebels, Imperial Supercommandos. Getting to see some Mandalorain and Fenn, some hint of Sabine history. Iron Squadron. Kids group can either be fun of annoying. Thrawn seem to have some history with Sato.

It seems Mandalorian politics are quite messy at the moment, with Mandalorians working directly for the Empire and beginning to eliminate any holdouts. I imagine Sabine's mother will become a plot point eventually from the way it was mentioned.

I'm not sure which way this group leans for me. They were pretty overconfident and cocky, especially considering how beat up their ship was.

It seems so! It'll be interesting to see if that ends up being developed more. Thrawn doesn't strike me as the "this is personal" type, but maybe I'm wrong about that and he has some kind of long-running beef with Sato.

FINALLY I'm updating the Steve Miller au. I'm hoping to be a little more consistent, posting on Fridays (possibly every other?) going forward, but there is a mini hiatus coming, alas. I have it planned out, though!

Supply runs were far from the hardest part of life in the Rebellion. But this last one had been rough. The Empire had caught on halfway through, and they’d been lucky to make it out with the supplies, let alone their lives.

The Empire’s starting to catch on, Kanan thought grimly as he, Zeb, Ezra, and Jyn headed into the command center of Commander Sato’s ship. Things are getting messier, and that’s never good.

The first person he saw when he stepped through the door into the commander center was Hera, which immediately made his mood a little better. She looked up at the sound of the door opening, along with Rex, Sato, Okadiah, Kasmir, and Sabine.

“We got the supplies,” Kanan told her, in response to the questioning eyebrow she lifted. “But we were fortunate to get away. The Empire’s making our travels around the Outer Rim tougher all the time.”

Kasmir grimaced. “Kriffing Imps— making it so a self-respecting smuggler can’t even run a business any more, let alone the Rebellion.”

“We need a new hyperspace route in and out of the Lothal sector,” Sato agreed— although probably more with Kanan’s comment than Kasmir’s. Kanan still wasn’t sure what the commander thought of half of his crew, particularly Kasmir, who seemed to delight in annoying authority figures. Still, they did their jobs, and that was what mattered.

“I may have the perfect shortcut,” Sabine volunteered, stepping forward to pause next to the console. “The system of Concord Dawn.”

Sabine: Of course!

Fenn: You do seem to be the least disturbed of the Mandalorians.

Sabine: What an almost sweet thing to say.

Fenn rau: What’s a synonym for catastrophe?

Kanan: Sabine and Ezra left alone.

Sabine: Basically when you try to make an omelette but mess it up and end up with scrambled eggs but it's ok.

The Mandalorian S3: *is happening*

Fenn Rau:

So, since Fenn Rau wasn't in The Mandalorian, I have no choice but to believe that he and Bo-Katan got into a fight, and he broke up with quit on her, and is now in vacation mode

He refuses to return unless Bo-Katan says she's sorry, and that he was right. Which, being Bo, she never will

So now, he's sitting on a beach, ghosting Axe Woves

Chapter two of my Sabezra Aladdin Au just so happens to be perfect for day three of @sabezraweek, What If/Fix It! So here we are! First lines under the cut!

Krownest was a frigid planet, covered in icy mountain ranges and forests full of snow and evergreen trees. It wasn’t much of a place to live, and it certainly wasn’t a vacation destination.

But to the couple thousand that lived in the city of Alkhu— made of largely Mandalorians— and the nearby compound where the ruling family, the Wrens, lived, it was home. The city had grown year by year, and now it was full to bursting. The Countess Ursa had ordered that new cities be built, but the work was slow. And in the meantime, in the winding, narrow streets of Alkhu, there wasn’t enough room for everyone.

This left a lot of people on the streets. And more than a few of these people were children. Thanks to the Empire drafting so many of the Mandalorian people into the army, news of parents or sibling’s deaths came to the people of Krownest regularly. In the past years, Alkhu had become a fend-for-yourself, steal-or-be-stolen-from, survival-of-them-who’s-best-at-nicking-things sort of town.

Luckily for him, this was all Ezra Bridger had ever known.

A blaster bolt zipped past his ear, but Ezra didn’t flinch as he kept running. The roofs in this part of town were mostly slanted, in order to slough off the frequent showers of snow with more ease, but that didn’t stop him from leaping from one rooftop to another.

I love when animated characters are made to look like their voice actors

I just realised that with Sabine confirmed for Ahsoka (2022), we're more than likely going to get her perspective on the Mandalorian Purge... like did her family survive? Are they hiding on Lothal? I can't see Sabine standing by while her whole clan are murdered and not helping to at least house the survivors. Did Fenn Rau survive? He seemed close with both Bo-Katan and Clan Wren during 'Heroes of Mandalore' so I can see him staying with either during the time jump but what about the purge?
