haechan (nct) - 'dante'.... is a nickname given to me because of a guy i liked. i didn't have a crush on him at first but people speculated that we were dating because we were always together and shit. his friends used to call me 'dante' all the time, even FOUR YEARS AFTER IT HAPPENED! no but...i did really like him and i really like hyuck so-

sunwoo (tbz) - 'little hua' or 'little shit' you pick. given by my mother and said affectionately after i say some smart ass shit i should get a whack for. i think sunwoo fits both a little more than the rest because he'll just shrug it off like i do? i think he has the attitude i have when i hear it and he'll wear it like a second skin.

yeonjun (txt) - 'our 10' which was a nickname that didn't really stick thank god, but i used to play competitive volleyball and my number was the number 10. but i was the quietest on the team by a long shot. but whenever i did something that surprised them, or if a boy talked to me or WHATEVER that didn't fit their image of me, they'd call me their 10 and make it out like i was their baby growing up. and yeonjun just has big support energy with flirty tendencies.

beomgyu (txt) - 'terror'...yes. it's a legit nickname. it fits in with my real name and there is meaning to it. when i was young, i used to terrorise my cousin and beat him up (in the later nicknames you'll see i mention 'baby boy'...same one) and his dad talks about it all the time. he used to call me that back in the sandpit days but NOW my other uncle on my other side calls me that. in fairness i don't call him 'uncle' but i call him 'nana' (pronounced nana/nuh nuh) and it's just a lot of headlocking and a lot of bickering and banter and just a lot of love. same as beomgyu.

lee know (skz) 'silent serial killer' ..a name given by my cousin who just likes to remind me how evil and calculated i am (in a fond way just saying...) i also love lee know's sense of humour and i've used some of his jokes on people and i've loved every second of it.

hyunjin (skz) 'bub' - now...it's gonna sound like i didn't think about it or i thought about it in a different way but i chose it because of his lips and how nice they are. like i know he's this talented and romantic as fuck beautiful soul, don't get me wrong but just the absolute 'bub' effect he has with his lips...couldn't resist sorry. (also bub is just a general nickname every girl seems to get)

hoshi (seventeen) - 'fantail shanay-nay' - ...nickname might be a stretch but it's one of my dad's famous ideas when i asked what my name would've been if it was something else and he brought this up. i thought it was legit for ages until i grew up. thanks dad. love you too. but i gave this to hoshi because he's someone who could probably rock the fuck out of the nickname and make it a whole concept. kind of like david bowie with ziggy stardust and crew.

d.o (exo) - **** (undisclosed) - now this nickname is blurred out for personal reasons, it's nothing bad but it's more personal. this is the name people call me in their daily and the name i hear the most. my cousin first gave me the nickname at 3 (his 3 or my 3 i can't remember) but to the bias who i find the most comfortable, the most warm, the most like home, i gave this nickname to kyungsoo.

san (ateez) - 'fast reactions' although this nickname isn't quite to do with his character or his soul or whatever, it's more on his skillset. it's hard because a lot of my nicknames don't fit him like they do others but he's a hardworker and people talk about it all the time. this was a nickname i got on a whim after reacting to my hat being picked up by the wind, i saved it and just...i get reminded even now about it.

wooyoung (ateez) - 'your yin to his yang' is a nickname that has been slightly altered but is a nickname given by my mother. the 'him' in question is my younger brother who is the total opposite to me. when people learn that we're related they say shit like 'how the hell does that work?' or 'why are you so innocent in comparison?' but i even got a tattoo that's supposed to be a matching set (but isn't because someone got cold feet) that is a representation of me and him and our differences. him as the sun and me as the moon. i gave it to wooyoung because he's just my total opposite.

jongho (ateez) - 'honey' since baby and all that was taken. i used honey. he's also the gummy bear of ateez so it just fits. i think he'd properly get really flustered over the name (or maybe not since wooyoung and san and seonghwa and all them boys exist) but i just..he's a liquid honey boy for real forreal.

jungwon (enhypen) - 'train' now not to be confused by the nsfw definition...but this is purely a case of my first name (not niwa) being directly translated. it's the whole 'sheep garden' thing that happens. i'm not too fond on the nickname, like at all but it's a nickname ain't it?

jihoon (soloist/wanna one) - ' **** mei' it does help that jihoon's fandom name is 'may' and my middle name is mei (surprise). people include - usually my family but not limited to them - my middle name in normal situations when they address me. it always mildly surprises me but when i first saw jihoon's fandom name i was like...of course, i picked the bias who was made for me.

jihoon (treasure) - 't-dawg' ...also another nickname given by the volleyballers. one that was actually used for a lot longer. but jihoon just seems like the type to be the most familiar with it, would probably call me it? i don't know he just seems like the type.

subin (victon) - 'baby' given to me by my boyfriend at the time. biggest slut i knew by the way but i enjoyed it all the same. so when i hear it now i get flashbacks. BUT gave it to subin because of how much his hyungs baby him and make a point to baby him and treat him like their little baby brother at all times. sorry to add salt to the wound but it's cute :)

jimin (bts) - 'toe' now before you ask, no, i don't have a toe/foot fetish. i'm not even sure why they called me it. but this nickname was given to me at the start of high school, all the way until the final day of year 13. i'm not that into bts anymore but i will always remember them and this nickname and the people who called me it very fondly. i also got into kpop around the same time so it was like the passing of an era.

joy (red velvet) - 'monchachi' is a nickname given to me by my mother. it's one she uses more frequently as i'm older and no other person calls me it (except maybe my dad on rare occasions) sometimes I even forget my mum calls me it because she does it so often over my actual given birth name that she gave me. but i gave it to joy because she's sassy and she's the girl that brings fellas to their knees.

yoojung (weki meki/i.o.i) - 'einstein' is a nickname given to me by my brother and in all honesty i'm going by vibes. i feel like she'd suit it in any context. a sarcastic 'yeah, okay, einstein' might ensue play fighting or like idk - pure vibes and just imagining friendship with her.

sooyoung (snsd) - 'angel from hell' another nickname gifted by my cousin (same as silent serial killer) and she gave me this nickname and it always comes with a story 'people think you're some innocent and sweet angel who can do no wrong but i know the kind of bitchy you're hiding, you angel from hell' and i gave this nickname to sooyoung because she's so fiery and sassy and so quick. she also makes me laugh more than anyone else.

chaeryeong (itzy) - 'missy' i chose missy for the reaction i'm sure i'd get. like her little eyebrow raises when somebody says something to her - it just makes me laugh and love her all the more. it's not necessarily like 'i'll fucking fight you' but it's the 'huh? wut did you say to me?' i think it'd be fun. it's also a nickname given to me by my dad and although he has another one, this is one he uses now that i'm grown up. but think chaeryeong's relationship with changbin and you might have similar ideas as to why i chose 'missy'.

yeeun (clc) 'precious girl' is a nickname given by my uncle who gets absolutely thrashed in media, has a blunt sense of humour and is known to be quite controversial is actually really affectionate in real life he calls his son, who's a bit older than me btw, baby boy and it's both the funniest and cutest thing ever. i chose yeeun for the simple fact that she is, in fact, a precious girl.

seunghee (clc) - 'shy/pretty' 'my flower' - now i need to explain this a bit.. but if you didn't know i know sign language (i wouldn't say fluently but enough to converse for long periods of time and translate if need be). my aunty is deaf and she has given me sign names. the first is an action that kind of looks as if your finger is softly twisting in a dimple in your cheeks. this translated to 'shy' but as i got older it became 'pretty' and then there's one that i brainwashed her with but she uses it to greet me and that's the flower pose and now she calls me 'her flower' but in sign and i thought seunghee was perfect for it because she literally only smiled with these bangs and she became my bias. i think about the moment daily by the way. it changed the trajectory of my life as did sign.

kazuha (le sserafim) - 'princess royalty' now this nickname is EMBARRASSING to say without sounding like a stuck up bITCH but my maternal grandfather called me this because of who my paternal grandfather is and how 'famous' and 'wealthy' our family is. but yeah, anyway, i gave this to kazuha because she just reminds me of this pretty princess with her posture and her smile and how beautiful she is.

eunchae (le sserafim) - 'little girl' which although reads a tad creepy I promise it's not, it's the warmest feeling ever because of the people who call me it. it helps that she's the youngest on the list, but the nickname is from my grandparents who will always see me as this person of innocence and childlike regard even when i get older each time i see them.

Are there any other JoJo's floating around in Soul Society and beyond?

So I like to populate the background characters of my fic with characters from another series as just a fun reference, but I feel like some people are reading into it a little to much. It's like- well, there's a watsonian perspective on it and a doylist one and a sort of meta-watsonian one.

From the watsonian/in-narrative perspective? You know that line from that Stucky fic everyone loves about "we deserve a soft epilogue?" I like to imagine AUs for main characters where they still live in an animeverse, but are free from the burden of being The Main Character. Usuke Urameshi lives in Karakura town, but he was never The Spirit Detective. He's just some former punk with mild psychic abilities who runs the ramen shop Ichigo goes to sometimes. Josuke is just some guy that has enough power to be a shinigami, but he's just like, rank and file. You see him in crowd shots. They're alternate universe versions of their full powered, main character selves and probably happier than those versions.

From a doylist perspective, it's a fun game of reference tag to play with the reader. A sort of where's Waldo of random characters from related series. Sort of like putting Samuel L Jackson in a bit part in your movie and giving him a purple prop to fiddle with. He's not playing Mace Windu, but for sharp-eyed nerds, he is making a star wars reference. Sometimes it's just for fun, sometimes is a way to lay on some really subtle thematic context. Like overlaying a 8% opacity layer of yellow on a digital piece to give the impression of late afternoon. Nothing explicit. Nothing relevant to the plot. Just a bit of seasoning.

From a meta-watsonian perspective, a lot of how I write fic was influenced by the old Kids WB bumps where the voice actors would play their characters *as though they were actors hanging out on the warner studios lot* Batman was still Batman, but he was also a guy playing Batman on TV. Yugi moto still had the cosmic powers of the millennium puzzle but also complained about how much time he had to spend in hair and makeup. So when you see a character from another series in my fic, they're an alternate universe version of themselves that is Not Relevant To The Plot, and on another level they're like an actor famous on another show, coming in to do a bit part on their friend's show for funsies.

...but mostly I do it so I don't have to make up names for OCs I'm only using for four seconds.

To actually answer your question: Yuzu is a HUGE fan of this educational YouTube channel run by Marine Biologist Jotaro Kujo. He's the only guy who gives echinoderms their due. She shows Ukitake and Unohana and they like him a lot too. Unohana writes to him to put him in touch with Hanataro and the two put together a major survey of venomous marine life with potential medical applications. Ukitake just likes fish :).

It's been a minute since I made one of these long boi posts, so here goes:

Things I want to see in the next Steven Caple Jr/Knightverse Transformers G.I. Joe crossover movie:

Decepticons!!! Oh how I've missed them! I want to see some new badass Decepticons make an appearance and be scary af and cause drama for the Autobots, and what I assume will be their new allies, the Joes.

GENTLE TOUCHES BETWEEN NOAH AND MIRAGE! I don't give a FUCK if they're both dudes or whatever! GIVE US SOME GENTLE TOUCHES, GODDAMMIT! Remember the cute little finger grasping thing that Charlie did after she calmed Bee down when he went into his kill mode? Give us something like that where Noah wraps his tiny fingers around Mirage's HUGE digits.

Give us some hugs! I want to see Noah and Mirage hug affectionately, not minding the size difference at all. Either a full body hug or a face hug works, or both. Both is good.

Can we please have Noah boop Mirage's nose as a joke or for funsies? 🥺 I would love to see how Mirage would react to that touch.

More teasing and flirting from Mirage. Since the PCS basically hinted that Miroah is a done deal, I would like to see how Mirage would up his game. Like what if he increased his teasing and flirting with Noah and says something even more outrageous than, "You've been inside me!"? What if him and Noah are having a casual convo (ideally in front of a small audience, like other Autobots for dramatic effect and added wow factor) and in response Mirage says something like, "That's not what you said last night, babe. 😉" Imagine Noah's reaction and the audience's reaction. 🤣🤣 Though, considering how hard the studio had to fight to keep the inside me joke in, that particular line may be "too spicy" for Hasbro. But something more mild or along those lines would be greatly appreciated.

MIRAGE'S KILL MODE!!!! I WANT TO SEE MIRAGE GO INTO BERSERKER MODE because someone had the audacity to harm or attempt to harm Noah!!!! Battle mask on and weapon charged! I want to see him absolutely enraged and start shooting up the place. But in a controlled rage like Bee had where he aimed at vehicles instead of people. Maybe Mirage could aim at Decepticons or some other enemy. Point is, I want to see Mirage use his battle mask and go to town blasting! And then I want to see Noah gently calm him down and give him a gentle touch or say something soothing to help calm him down.

Give us this Mirage right here! Battle mask on, weapon charged and ready to fight everybody!

Or instead it could be Mirage just naturally protecting Noah from an enemy that triggers his kill mode. But this could be Noah's first time seeing Mirage like that, so we could still get that delicate, gentle moment between those 2 once Mirage calms down.

CHARLIE AND BUMBLEBEE REUNION!!!! I had a dream recently about Charlie playing a sort of game of tag that was an extension of the ending scene in Bumblebee, when Bee scans his new alt mode and Charlie is amazed by it and then Bee drives off. In my dream Charlie is running in front of Bee laughing while he drives very slowly behind her to chase her. I have no idea where that dream came from since Miroah has been living rent free in my brain for months, but it makes me want a Charlie/Bee reunion extra bad now!

More Mirage and Arcee sibling energy! I think we were absolutely ROBBED of Mirage and Arcee moments in ROTB, so I want more in the next movie! Big sister Arcee scolding or teasing Middle child Mirage about something. It would be glorious! 🤩

Mirage introducing Noah to new Autobots and being all proud like. Like, "Yup! That's my human! He's mine." or whatever the robot equivalent would be. I don't know why, but every time I read a Miroah fic that has Mirage refer to Noah as his human, my heart swells a little. It's just so cute. It's giving cat owner energy for some reason. 🤣

A Mirage and Noah mission scene where they're officially partners. All the jokes, all the teasing, all the flirting, just all the general Miroah shenanigans. But now they are officially on an Autobot/G.I. Joe mission together.

I want Breanna Diaz to meet Mirage! I need to know if she will pull out a chancleta and try to strike Mirage with it. 🤣 'Cause you know the Diaz family loves to resort to violence whenever they first see Mirage. Noah with the metal pipe and Kris with the baseball bat. I need to know what Breanna's weapon of choice is. 🤣 But also, I want to see her warm up to Mirage and him being all charming and kind towards her.

I would love to see some Mirage and Bee shenanigans. The 2 Autobots with human companions need a scene together! Maybe even give us some Mirage and Bee sibling energy. And maybe even a double team up with Mirage and Noah as partners and Bee and Charlie as partners.

A Mirage pamper scene or flashback or mention of how Noah pampered him up real good to make him look all shiny and brand new. A perfect chance to slip in some flirting from Mirage praising Noah for a job well done. 😏

MORE ARCEE SCREENTIME!!!! GODDAMMIT!!! WE WERE SO FUCKING ROBBED! ARCEE IS A QUEEN AND DESERVES MORE SCREENTIME!!!!

This might be a stretch, but what about Arcee becoming fond of a human and she ends up getting her own human companion? It could be Elena or another female character. That would be so cool!

The main reason why I made this post is because A LOT of the stuff I wanted to see in Transformers EarthSpark S1C actually happened (I still need to make a post about that) and it makes me feel like if I keep making these long boi posts, I can continue to manifest my own desires and head canons. *cue maniacal laughter* No, but for real, can we please get a Noah/Mirage centric animated series?? It would be wonderful! 🙏🏾

Now that the days (in the Northern Hemisphere at least) are getting shorter and darker, why not enhance your fanfic reading experience with a fun challenge?

It's just a little practice piece I made for funsies mostly over the weekend, with some finishing touches earlier today. I will add more content over the next few days and weeks (and let's be realistic, probably months), but everything that's currently in there should already work as intended.

The bingo generator is responsive, which means it should work on desktop and mobile. The mobile layout isn't ideal yet, I'm trying my best to make it better (but I'd also still consider myself a newbie and I'm learning by doing).

The platform I'm using, Perchance, recently added AI options for their generators. This is a regrettable decision that I don't condone, and I'd like to emphasise that this generator is 100% handcrafted chaos.

Leaving the NSFW checkbox unchecked should remove all NSFW tags and tropes, but you could still come across content you find objectionable. Leaving the AO3 Tags checkbox unchecked removes all tags, but you could still come across tropes you find objectionable.

If you run into any issues or come across any bugs, please let me know. If you find something that should be in the NSFW category, but isn't, please also let me know. It's possible that I missed a few tags when I worked through the list. (But don't ask me to remove content you find objectionable.)

What do the checkboxes mean?

NSFW is basically what it says on the tin. If you tick this box, the NSFW tropes will be added to the mix. If you also ticked the AO3 Tags box, NSFW AO3 tags will be added.

AO3 Tags is also what it says on the tin. It's a list with roughly 1,000 AO3 tags. Around 250 of them are currently marked NSFW and can only be generated if you ticked both the NSFW box and the AO3 Tags box.

Stats & Meta currently only includes the lists "length" (contains wordcounts ranging from drabble to >500k) and "meta", which currently contains items like "a work with a song lyrics title" or "a work in a series". I will probably add other lists to that category at some point.

creator (items like favourite author, anon creator)

discovery (various ways you could've found a fic)

VC Silly Headcanon Friday - Holiday Gift Edition

What is the most fun Christmas/Holiday gift your favorite vampire has ever received? Not necessarily the best gift but the one they definitely had a blast with and really enjoyed!

For example, I believe in the 80s Daniel made the mistake of getting Armand a label maker for Christmas one year, and for a while there, everything on Night Island suddenly had a label on it. Daniel even awoke one night to find his coffin labeled "Beloved." At least it helped organize the boxes and boxes of stuff Armand had in the cellar?

I like to think one year at Trinity Gate, Armand got Louis a Blackberry and it was the first cell phone he didn't immediately "lose."

For Daniel, I think one year (maybe 86?) it was a motorcycle, given to him by Armand because he thought Lestat's was cool and he subsequently took it all over the place (sometimes with Armand). And then later, after his sanity started to return, it was an iPod that he could use to listen to music, help block out noise (in his head and otherwise), and enjoy radio shows/podcasts. It helped him come back to the world and get acquainted with some of the technology and stuff that he'd missed.

But enough about my headcanons!

Gaia

You more than likely caught his eye by being good with children. Gaia loves children and he sometimes plays games with them if he’s in the park. He would probably observe you for awhile before making his move

He would charm you first with his quick wit and his easy going attitude. You would never know he had two personalities living within him unless you caught him fighting.

He would come off as the perfect man. Easy to talk to, kind, good with children, he’s very neat, and he can cook. What isn’t there to like about him?

Manipulative. This man is a battle tactic genius, of course he’d be able to manipulate you as well until you’re wrapped around his finger. He would make sure you’re completely dependent on him before you even realized what was going on

He made the two of you sandwiches to eat in the park. Food tastes even better eaten outside, after all. Wouldn’t a peaceful picnic take your mind off of them? You could even play tag with him and the children.

He would make you want him and appear very vague on whether he was attracted to you. He’d manipulate you into believing you liked him first even though he was the one who had his eyes set on your first. Your blushing face when you confess to him is probably the cutest thing he’s ever seen, how could he say no to such a heartfelt confession?

Sikorsky

You were probably unknowingly kind to him to catch his attention. Maybe he was sitting on the side of the streets hungry and you offered him some food? Don’t you know you should never feed a stray or they’ll keep coming back?

Extremely charismatic and great with sweet talking. He’d offer to walk you home and help you with simple tasks. And he would slowly worm his way into your life with his sweet words and actions. You’d have no idea he was a criminal

Manipulative as well. But he would act like he was innocent and gentle. He was a poor foreigner who didn’t know much about Japan, and you were the only person kind enough to pay him any mind. He is so grateful for how kind and naive you are, it makes it that much easier for him to sink his fangs into you

Nauseatingly possessive. Has you wear his clothes if you go out. Hell tell you in a tone so sweet, it would turn sugar into caramel, “So you’re not cold.” He just doesn’t want anyone else to flirt with you or even talk to you. Sikorsky is a big man, he’s super intimidating to everyone around them so it isn’t hard for him to chase others off who may want to pursue you

Extremely touchy. He loves touching you and holding you. You’re just so small and helpless compared to him. It’s like you were made specially for him to devour

Bonus: Now if you were Gaia’s partner, oh lord. This man is pulling every dirty trick in the book to try to pull you away from the mercenary and he’d make you blush so much, he believed you’d explode any minute. I think he’d back down if Gaia got upset. I don’t see Gaia being the jealous type. I feel he knows you’re too caught up in his web to ever leave him but he wouldn’t mind sharing you with Sikorsky. It keeps the convict in his place after all. Sikorsky is only allowed near you because Gaia allows it. He can use you as leverage to manipulate Sikorsky

Katou Kiyosumi

He would start off as a tsundere and then progress into a Yandere once he ‘realized’ you liked him (he’s delusional)

You’d also attract him by being kind to him. Maybe you gave him some water and a snack when he was passed out drunk on the street after a long self destructive night? Maybe you complimented his outfit? Little things like that matter to Kiyosumi because he’s not usually noticed by people. Kiyosumi knows deep down he’s a loser and constantly pushes people away. You’re more than likely a convenience store worker who is nice to everyone or just a genuinely very kind person that lives in the area Kiyosumi frequents

He presents himself as a very prideful person even though he’s one of the most insecure people around. He hangs on every compliment you give him like a lifeline. He tries to act ‘cool’ and brush you off, but his blush gives it away on how he feels

He’s delusional as hell. You’re complimenting him because you’re attracted to him. That would be the only reasonable answer because he was a scum bag. He lived like a slob and he hardly ate a proper meal, he had no idea why else you would be so nice to him unless you have a crush on him

Probably stalks you. At first it was just out of curiosity on if you lived nearby since you two always ran into each other but then it becomes a daily occurrence. He’s just making sure his partner gets home safe

Truly believes the two of you are dating in his head. You probably don’t even know his name, you’re just being nice to the local drunk man who used to fall asleep on the street because you hope he turns his life around

Kiyosumi probably stops drinking as much because he can’t see or spend as much time with you being under the influence. He wants to know what you’re doing every second of the day

You’d never know he was watching you until it was too late when he wants to make the relationship physical. You don’t stand a chance against his strength when he crawls in through your window to cuddle you while you sleep. You can probably taste the sake on his lips when he kisses you

Do you respond to comments?

In theory. I love chatting with people about fics - best way to make friends honestly - and I love when authors reply to my comments on their works! In practice I haven't replied in a while, which upsets me but it's more of a time/spoons thing. If I have time and energy I'd rather spend that commenting on one of my friends' fics rather than replying to comments on one of my own fics.

What’s the fic with the angstiest ending you’ve ever written?

I really don't do angsty endings! They're not always happy, but they tend to be bittersweet or open rather than angsty, and even if everything isn't resolved, I usually try to get across that the fic is ending in the middle of a situation and that everything will be okay later (like this snippet). I think the three that come closest are Let Steep Ten Minutes, Keeping Time with Curtain's +1 section, and 46 Fairview St. where it's kind of left open whether SQ will ever go back to visit his father. But again, those don't really feel angsty, just somewhat bittersweet with the hope that things will grow and get better.

Do you write crossovers? I haven't yet, but I'd be open to it! I think it's really challenging to write a good and cohesive crossover and I'm not sure where I'd start.

Have you ever gotten hate on a fic?

Nope! Perks of being in a small fandom. I imagine it does happen but I know y'all would have my back

Do you write smut?

Definitely not for mbs. I'd be open for other fandoms but it's not really what interests me the most.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of! I suppose someone might have fed a fic of mine into an AI writing generator which I'd personally consider a form of stealing, but I haven't heard of that happening. Please don't do that :)

Have you ever had a fic translated?

No! I've thought of trying to translate some of my own for funsies, but I'm definitely not at that level yet! Although the lovely @sophieswundergarten has made a few amazing podfics of both my fics and some other excellent fics in the mbs fandom, which I'd consider translation of a sort!

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

For mbs I'm more interested in platonic/familial connections, but I suppose I'd say Milligan/Moocho if I had to pick one? I really don't care if they're romantic or not though, I just like them together in any form that takes. For all-time I suppose I'd say Aziraphale and Crowley, though again I'm really not too picky about the nature of that, romantic or otherwise. Perks of being aroace spectrum baybe

What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?

Never say never! But I do have a longer Curtain Wins AU buzzing around in my brain where Reynie and Sticky "join" him at the end of Book/Season 1 and then work to bring him down from the inside, without getting caught up in his manipulations. That might end up being comparable to Time and a Half in length, so maybe someday when I have an abundance of free time.

What are your writing strengths?

I think I write some banger first sentences :D especially in crack/funny fics

What are your writing weaknesses?

Too many adverbs! Also I get very easily stuck on exposition/beginning/ending/filler parts. I tend to write down the most tense/exciting moments for the fic and then the writing process stalls for the next three months.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fics?

For a real language, I think it can be a great opportunity to showcase a character's backstory/culture. It can also be immersive for the audience - if a character is in a foreign country where they don't speak the language, including pieces of dialogue in that language can help the audience understand how lost they're feeling (assuming the audience doesn't speak that language either)! If you're using a translation source though it can make for some pretty hilarious errors and mistranslations.

I think made-up languages absolutely fuck but I could never include one in my fic because I'd nerd out creating an entire writing, grammar, and vocab system and forget to write the actual fic.

hard to say, since they're both warriors with protective instincts, and link had to have learned some survival skills & instincts in botw

neither of them ever rest really, constantly on their guard because they're not letting anyone get the slip on them

i am the self-proclaimed #1 sleepy link x coddler revali enthusiast. you know damn well i am tucking that blond twunk into a soft comfy bed (the bed being revali)

who is the least patient?

hard to pin down as a generalization, because it's circumstantial between the two of them imo

like we all know link would stare into a campfire all night just to be able to hunt the best game at the exact crack of dawn

but revali is very thoughtful and methodical to me. i just reviewed his diary and the cb memory, and it's clear that his dedication to the craft warrants a lot of strategy, perseverance, and patience. he can be incredibly patient for the things that matter most to him

(i also really like the idea that revali would be very patient with fledglings 🥺 gordon ramsey type beat)

that being said, both revali and link will have a breakdown trying to assemble a single chair from ikea. they insist that the furniture is cursed but zelda assembles it in less than five minutes

which of the two listens to old music and which one is more into the newer stuff?

to me, revali seems like he would enjoy classical music, and classic pop & rock in general. anything before the 2000's, revali can get into

projecting a portion of my own music taste onto revali, he fucks with songs like 'stitches and burns' by fra lippo lippi, 'i melt with you' by modern english, and 'true' by spandau ballet. i will not be taking any criticism at this time 🙏

link is soft-spoken, reserved, and a listener, he'll let you take the lead on the conversation or listen you out completely before saying anything.

as such, revali is the one berating the cashier for putting pickles on link's burger when he said he didn't want any 😹
