WHEN I TELL YALL I HAD A BRAIN WAVE AT THE END OF THIS EPISODE-

ok so the dude wants omega right? and from the way we saw in season one crosshair genuinely cares for omega (i think). SO WHAT IF OMEGA GETS TAKEN AND CROSSHAIR CONTACTS HIS BROTHERS AND HELPS HER ESCAPE.

I've seen other people do these and I wanna jump on the bandwagon, so:

-I am not an engineer or anything, so take my word with a grain of salt, but I am pretty sure a ship is not supposed to be smoking and sparking like that

-that music...I had flashbacks to subnautica, but it's in space this time

-Nala Se???

-no, it's some other asshat

-I sincerely thought that they killed Lama Su in the season finale when the two troopers pointed their guns at him and the door closed

-Yeah, fucking tell her! Dump that bitch! She is doing the exact thing Mokko was doing!

-Excuse me sir, do you have a fucking death wish??? First, you go into a skirmish with a broken leg and barely come out on top in that fight, then you willingly drive a death trap in a race that has claimed lives, then you jump into the abyss with zero information on what's down there and now you are going to go alone to the bridge? While you know that something big has killed the crew?? You idiot.

-Data extraction? Would have been useful to have someone help you with that. Maybe even someone with a scomp for an arm? Huh?

-I can see his hairline from under the helmet, I am swooning

-I had a very morbid thought of that door slamming back down with Hunter still in the doorframe.

-Aww, Wrecker and Hunter covering Omega from the blast <3 best dad/brother

-Tech, basically:

-I saw that hand Tech, I know you wanted to explain in surely gruesome detail how the Zillo digested the humans on board. And thank you Hunter for stopping him.

-Again, Tech is the king of underestimation

-AWWWW, the way he grabbed Omega and shielded her from the explosion! I need a gif now!

-And helping her up on the stairs! What a good big brother!

-And forcing her into the seat before he secured himself! Tech is really outdoing himself this season, isn't he?

-Although that makes me very worried that the creators are really pushing that Omega&Tech relationship as if they want to make us cry if something really bad happens to him

-Echo???? And Rex??? And Omega is so happy at the thought of seeing her mum again!

-Also, the way that Hunter was leaning on Tech's chair and reading the screen? I don't know, it did something for me

-Also, was I the only one thinking it might be Cross in that new commando armour with the gold details? But the moment he spoke I knew it wasn't him

-DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE LAY A FINGER ON MY GIRL!

Overall, a great episode! I know that some people might call it filler again, because it's a retrieval mission, but like, we are getting insights into cloning! And the batch is finally considering leaving Cid! And Nala Se! And Lama Su! So much new, good stuff has happened! I love it!

SPOILERS FOR THEBAD BATCH SEASON 2 EPISODE 11!

Not to brag but I fucking called it!

in the end of season 1 when they dragged Nala Se and talked about her cloning skills I was like “wait! in the clone wars Palpatine wanted to clone the Zillo beast but we never saw the kaminoans do it! are we gonna finally get a Zillo beast clone?”

and then ep 11 started and I was like “is this mystery creature a baby Zillo beast?”

and then I saw the creature and thought “nope, not a Zillo beast, I’m just dumb”

When Tech talked about the enhanced armor I figured they must’ve used the genetic material from the Zillo beast just for the armor part, but then right before the twist reveal he gasped and said it was gonna get bigger and I was sure once again it was a Zillo beast.

The vindication I felt at the reveal was so powerful I stopped the ep and went to make this post

TBB Rewatch Day 15: S2E11 “Metamorphosis” and S2E12 “The Outpost”

*prepares another long essay about “The Outpost”* jk, I won’t do that to you guys. (But I could 👀👀👀)

The love I have for “The Outpost” can’t be put into words. Everything about it is perfect in my eyes. We all know how amazing it is, but every rewatch, I always see something new that catches my eye. I’m very attached to this episode for emotional reasons, personal reasons, and as someone who loves the technical side of Cinema. Ok, moving on before I start ranting about symbolism or something.

Hemlock’s theme is such a banger in “Metamorphosis.” Btw, this is also an amazing Tech episode. Only he would stare the zillo beast in the face and say “fascinating.” I love him ☺️

The Bad Batch S2 EP11 no context spoilers

Ok this is not normally my thing but I figured I'd give it a go. I just finished TBB S2E11 and I have a theory that I want to share.

TBB S2E11 Spoilers (I think)

- I think that Cid is going to sell out the bach to the empire once she finds out that there looking for Omega. She's been super flaky, we have been specifically told time and time again not to trust Cid, and I hate to admit it but the bach aren't really the best at there job form a financial standpoint been nothing but losses for Cid.

- Then Omega is going to get kidnapped by the empire but who does the empire send someone who has shown there loyalty to the empire, has an intimate knowledge of the bach the way only a brother can, and has the skills to do it: Crosshair

- If anyone can convince Crosshair to leave the empire it's Omega and I think after Cody he might just be ready. We have no idea what's been going on with him this season (which I think is a crime)

- At some point the bach + Rex are going to try and rescue Omega and it will be so fucking cool but of course Omega and Crosshair are will already working on thir escape plan

- then next season can be the entered bach both Crosshair and Echo, working to find out what the empires plans for the Zillo Beast are and helping Rex when needed hopefully Cody too

The whole episode was me just asking myself these questions at nearly two in the morning

Forreal tho this episode was literally incredible. I loved every minute of it.

Tech was his sassy smart ass self

Wrecker was excited over the electrostaff

Omega was useful as hell using her Kaminoan tech knowledge

Hunter is still exhausted

They mentioned rex and echo

And next week we have rumours of Crosshair being back.

I am LIVING for it at the moment omg

The Zillo Beast was amazing

Seeing Nala Se and Lama Su was amazing

I have zero complaints over this weeks episode other than No Crosshair™️
