God its so obvious they miss her.

Rei gaming till dawn which is his fave thing ever but not looking like he's having much fun, maybe cause he's gotten so used to having Miri right next to him and cheering him on.

Kazuki having to clear up stuff he bought out of so much love and seeing the stuff Miri had given them in return out of the same love.

These are people who are coming to terms with the fact they did their best, Kazuki isn't receding back into a self deprecating slump like after his wife passed and Rei hasn't gone back to his pre-Miri lifestyle with litter everywhere and cigarette smoke clinging to every surface of the apartment.

Miri might be gone but they kept their promise to Kyu-chan all the same.

They don't regret any moment they spent with her.

bruh, i've never in my life had anyone continuously ask me questions about my interests and just want to actively listen before til this weekend. i literally just was asked about my interests and no one lost interest at all ???? im so used to people just ignoring me part way through or asking just so they can get closer to me or out of being polite. i was able to just... talk about what i like. i literally have never felt so special and important in my life. i suspect that i have autism and i genuinely think that was the longest time i've been able to just talk about what i like without masking or having to shut up bc people have completely lost interest.
