The Bad Batch fic rec: Charon's Forgotten

Dear fandom, we need to talk about “Charon's Forgotten” by @bitterfishiesstuff because it is the best Imperial!Batch AU I've ever read. Maybe even one of a kind. Tech and Wrecker fall under the influence of the chip and are conditioned to serve the Empire, first separately and later alongside Crosshair, and all end up in a relationship, bumpy and complicated. All bear their scars, literal and figurative. Navigating the intrigues of the Imperial Security Bureau isn't what they were trained for, and it changes and shapes their relationships. The story is twisted, often brutal (mind the warnings!), and fascinating. It is not a happy, optimistic AU where the characters get to see the light, sooner or later. But they make the best of the worst circumstances. And if not light, there is love for them, a lot of love.

Happy one year anniversary to the ending of my absolute fav Star Wars show. I can not believe the Bad Batch ended a year ago. Like how?

This show means so much to me and I will forever be grateful that it exists. Cause I’m so happy that it does. From the amazing compelling characters to the addictive stories, the bad batch is in my opinion, one of the best Star Wars shows. Thank you for giving us clone force 99.

Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, Wrecker, Echo and Omega will always have a special place in my heart. And I hope this show wasn’t the last we see of them.

I’m kind of obsessed with the idea of clones taking holos after missions they’re particularly proud of. Also, I love the Dad Batch as much as the next, but I ADORE their Frat Bro days!

(One day I’ll stop drawing clones in T-shirts and put them in proper gear, but today is not that day.)

Saw folks doing self rec's and considering I don't think I'll be up to writing for at least a few more days, prob more like a week or two, I figured I can do a daily old fic summary from oldest to newest.

First my oldest series

Pairing: mostly Tech/Wrecker with light poly batch undertones(it's more friends with benefits, although you can see Crosshar wanting a bit more in one fic).

My raunchy reentry into fan art and fan fics during covid. I've improved a lot as a writer and artist. You won't find the art there though. I deleted it all because of reasons, although it might still exist somewhere on tumblr under my deactivated account if someone rebloged it.

The premise was Tech Fucks, lol. I was, and still mostly am of the opinion Tech knows exactly what he's doing with sex and fucks. It started as a joke, Tech having an only fans where he reviewed sex toys and it spiraled into a massive drawn porn folder and a few fics exploring it.
