just for fun this time during 'sea of blood' I counted out all the venatori corpses I think we can be pretty sure were lucanis' handiwork before we show up (not including the ones he kills in his initial cutscene, and with an assumption that he's been at work mainly up and down in the areas we move through until we find him, not behind the locked door -- I think that's mostly the work of rampaging undead and other venatori-hoisted-by-their-own-petard suchlikes). can thus happily inform you lucanis has killed at least 32 venatori before rook and company get there. at least one of them he's impaled on their own weird crystal spike things the venatori mages cast as an AOE attack and that they're trying to keep him contained with when we find him. so he's clearly been keeping busy lol. that's my boy dispensing poetic justice and claiming some enrichment in his enclosure while he's at it good for him!

Behold, a diagram going over HP, Food, and Shit lore in Undertale/Deltarune.

Each column shows a different question, each row shows a category, ranging from the broad (Everyone in the UNDERTALE Universe) to the specific (Lightner Humans in the DELTARUNE universe) Green means that it's true, Red means that its false, Orange means that its uncertain, Blue means no data, Purple means that the answer depends (the group is too broad)

So, for instance, the first question is Instant Heal- Does food in this category instantly heal you? In undertale, it depends on the food type. Human food is a maybe (If we assume the astronaut food is human food, that instantly heals you, but otherwise it's uncertain and kind of implied human food wouldn't?), but Monster Food is a "yes" (because of the snowdin grillbys dialog about food) In the Light World, food doesn't heal you at all (The hot chocolate item doesn't have a heal value, even though the bandage does!), but in the Dark World, it does. And darkner food would be dark world food, meaning it does. THE QUESTIONS: Instant Heal - Does this category's food instantly heal you? Shit Lore - Does this species shit? Do they use the bathroom? Yes this is the depths theorists go sometimes Can Hurt - Can this category's food hurt you to consume it? Physical Heal - Can this category's items heal you by physically healing you? (Ex: a bandage is not consumed, but it still functions as a healing item?) Overheal - Can you acquire HP Overheal? Magic Heal - Can you recover HP with magic? Increases (Dist) - Does HP increase as you distance yourself from your actions? Known Thing - Does this group know about HP as a statistic? 0 = Death - Does running out of HP equate to death? This graph isn't perfect, but I'm too lazy to fix it since I made this like a year or two ago.
