I don't know about you guys but I want more “we fucked up” moments of realization from cybertronians when dealing with crazy humans.

They go into battle not seeing the “little squishes’ as threats- in fact as canon fodder. Suddenly then something happens; a human gets a weapon, or one becomes just a little too determined then just like that they kill a Cybertronian, or at least injure them greatly. A prime (pun intended) example of this is with Megatron's reaction to Hardshell’s death.

I mean just look at Megatron's face right here and tell me it isn't immensely satisfying/funny to look at.

Megatron just looks so confused and maybe a little uneasy- as remember from his perspective this is like the equivalent of a chinchilla killing a grown adult man.

Then afterwards he gives this sort of insightful look.

Personally I like to interpret this scene as him thinking whether to consider Miko as a real threat or not. While Megatron definitely has the mindset of looking down at those being beaten by “weaker enemies” even he knows or well recognizes that yes Hardshell was indeed very powerful but…. yet he was defeated by something smaller than his servo.

Just something to think about.

did you know that… in terms of reproduction… haha ​​bad joke, but ignoring that, did you know that pos insecticons, waspy and tarantula might be the most compatible with humans? I say this because they're more closely related to organics than other bots. Yes, it's terrifying to some people (don't add me to that group) but it makes sense, I also think they'd be the ones that could most easily… you know what, but the protoform would be small, almost like... a bug egg, easy to remove even. these guys are perfect for that weird kink of I don't know what, you'll know what I mean.

Considering this is the seventh or eighth of these I’ve gotten since I started writing the bugs, I know what you’re talking about. Not my cup of tea, but since people keep asking, I can make an attempt. And if I have anyone lurking here that shouldn’t be here, it might just scare them off

Hardshell x Reader

• Startling awake as warm air stirs your hair and your giant, horrifying, alien boyfriend makes that awful chittering noise that still has your skin crawling, your head lifts. And his massive head brushes against your bare skin, mandibles sliding against you. Rolling you onto your back before his mandibles hook against you and lift you, the sharp lines of his overlapping denta pressed against your belly as he begins digging in your plush nest of stolen pillows, blankets and three mattresses. Looking over your shoulder as you hang there while he mounds pillows. Yawning, you reach up to rub your palm against his helm and his whole head tilts so you’re almost upside down. “Most guys come home and it’s ’oh, hi, honey. How was your day?’” You say and his visor brightens slightly as he keeps rearranging your bedding. “I get ‘let’s fuck.’”

• Mandibles flexing against you as you fuss at him, Hardshell clicks in amusement. He vents, pulling the scent of you, of your arousal deep into himself as you chatter. Amused, he drops you to hear you gasp before snagging you again midair and gently lowering you on your belly. And mass shifting, nudging your thighs open for him as his glossa slides against you to make you shiver. “Little breeder,” he growls affectionately against you, glossa tunneling inside you as he listens to your little noises. Always talking, except when he’s inside you, fragging you until you can’t focus to talk.

• Moaning as your fingers dig into the blankets, feeling that wickedly long glossa pushing inside you, curling and exploring to make your hips buck. You’re still not sure what the two of you are to each other. If he’s your boyfriend or just your giant, alien fuck buddy. He’s not much of a conversationalist, but he definitely makes up for it with mind shatteringly good sex. Grinding and rocking yourself against his mouth, feeling his mandibles grab at your hips, you groan as you come apart and his glossa laps against you before he’s shifting.

• Freeing his spike, he moves to cover you. Feeling you tremble slightly as he finds you and presses deep, stretching you. Sinking into your wet heat as his clawed servos dig into your bedding and he’s moving against you, hips snapping. Listening to you whimper, the way your breath catches. Hadn’t meant to take a human queen, but he doesn’t regret the impulsive decision. Rutting urgently against you, he hears you cry out and he keeps thrusting, trying to make it last longer until he’s roaring, frame straining as he overloads to fill you. Reluctantly slipping free of your wet heat and hiding away his spike as his plating shifts, his secondary spike pressurizing slowly.

• Thighs trembling with your release, you feel him slide against you again. Apparently deciding he wanted another round, but when he presses inside you, there’s a slight burn of being stretched. Like his spike is thicker somehow. Leg kicking out on a whimper as he slowly rocks his hips against you, working himself deep and he is bigger, almost uncomfortably so. “What are you doing?” You moan, flinching when something snares your hips, digging into you as soon as he’s buried deep. Reaching back and finding the claspers that usually lay flat and look like part of his hip plating pinning you against him. “Hardshell?”

• “Breeding,” he snarls, can’t really thrust locked inside you, claspers keeping you in place, but his hips rock and undulate against you, pressing you into the pillows as he groans. And you’re going to be a good carrier for his brood as he begins to fill you with a hiss, feeling you squirm under him, your breath catching. No longer chattering.

• He’s moving fitfully against you, not thrusting, but something is happening. Fingers clawing into the blankets as the pressure and feeling of being stretched edges into discomfort. What is he doing to you? His frame heating at your back as his movements become more urgent, driving your hips against the pillows under you again and again until you’re trembling and overly sensitive. And he finally pulls out, but that feeling of being full remains. Head turning to stare at him as he rubs his jaw and mandibles against your back and shoulders, that frightening face managing to somehow look smug as you shiver. What did he just do? Because that wasn’t just his release, he put something inside you and your eyes narrow.

Megatron refuses to admit it but the 3rd kid is so clearly Hardshell's

Even if they try artificial insemination, the kid still doesn't look like him. Like at all. But the one, beady red eye the kid has sure does look familiar

And at the 4th kid Y/N probably starts to be like "hey man. Enough. Bakery's closed"

Megatron is so much in denial he says the 3rd is Breakdown's or Dreadwing's because he does not want to imagine insecticon spike inside his human (even tho Dreadwing has never fragged her) At this point I'm wondering if Shockwave pulled an uno reverse card and used his own transfluid instead. Or if Megatron's genes are just that weak, huh Megatron's on his servos and knees begging for the first time since he became a gladiator. He's begging her to let him have one more, just one more. I'm not sure if she'd take pity on him and give in or keep denying him. But if she does have a 5th child.... It would be Starscream's

Would you mind writing for Hardshell from TFP? The insection didn't get that much screen time (still more than Makeshift though) hence the question. I really like the guy and it would be nice to see more content about him :3

Yandere Hardshell

The bug decepticon isn’t known for liking humans. He’s a powerful, arrogant bot known for felling many wreckers- so when a human found the signal to attract them, he was furious. 

Since Arachnid had died, they lived on Earth in their own colony. One day they heard a noise that lured them away to a home in the middle of the country. A human sat on the porch of the home, playing with what seemed like a small Cybertronian receiver. It had all sorts of wires hanging out of it.

Hardshell immediately landed with a heavy thump in front of the home, scaring the human badly. The human shook with fear as many other huge robots dropped down onto her land. 

Hardshell clicked a few times in irritation before speaking. “You… are you the one who summoned us here?” 

“I…what?” You looked confused, unsure of what was currently happening. You were terrified that one wrong move would result in death. Suddenly, you jostled the radio, and the Insecticons froze. They suddenly scooped you up, flying away with your receiver in your arms. 

They brought you to a cave, calling you their Queen and getting you anything they thought you’d like, including a glowing blue crystal. 

“Please, I just… I just want to go home.” 

“No. Queen must stay here.” Hardshell spoke aggressively. He truly meant no harm- he was only protecting the future of the colony. The Queen would give them guidance. 

Hardshell wasn’t the only one guarding your every move- it was the entire colony. You’d never leave, so long as you were their Queen- even in death.

Acolyte AU art drop 1 - Insecticons!

From the ACOLYTE au that @tere706​ and I have been developing! The INSECTICONS are a faction that develops later in the Acolyte AU. All of the Insecticon models in TFP cannon are simple beetles, so for this AU I’m also proposing alternate insect types. All of these bots can transform into a mechanical version of their associated insect! Descriptions below the cut, incase my handwriting is shite:

Dragonflighters - Thin, agile aerial based Insecticons who act primarily as scouts and spies for the Hive. The Dragonflighters are often the first to set out in search for a new place for their brethren to call home.  Beetlebots - Aerial or ground based, this subspecies has the widest variety when it comes to visual appearance. Scarab is based off of a jeweled beetle, and Hardshell is based off a Hercules beetle. Mantisites - This subspecies, while incapable of flight, makes up for it with their prowess in combat and espionage. Though, it really is just the one of them. Her name’s Orchid, and she is the Cybertronian equivalent of a teenager.  Millidroids - As they are the largest species, they do the lion’s share of tunneling in order to make space for their brethren in the Hive. They use themselves as measurement; if they can fit, so can everyone else.

Not a request but an ask-

Thoughts about Hardshell from tfp? He has really little in terms of screen time, but still more than makeshift. I find him really lovable, but it's hard to find content of him.

Dude, I loved Hardshel! I'm so mad that he got killed off, I would've loved to see more of him. I mainly wanted to see more of his and the other insecticons interactions with the vehicons, I thought the bitterness there was really overlooked. So many missed opportunities fr-

I feel like him and the other insecticons got hella nerfed as the show went on and that's so frustrating to me- Hardshell had a lot of potential, I would've liked to see him face off with more of the autobots.

Side note 1) He's low key hella cute too, I'd like to just give him head pats

Side note 2) I saw him (or some other insecticon) in one of the mtmte panels, I think I'll try to find it at some point

I have daydreamed about this kind of edit for MONTHS but only now could I actually do it. It just fits so perfectly!!

I'm pretty proud of this and it took me 5:24 hrs to make. There were a few things I had to redo because of glitches/low quality but other than that this was a joy to make!

Who knows how, the kid turns into a bug, but Megs still thinks that ones his

Self-gaslighting at its finest If Airachnid tries to control it, he's going to fucking deck her. This is his sparkling and even if it looks and sounds weird, it's his and his alone The reader got the biggest spike of her life that one night, but she does not regret it. The child ends up taller than Megatron. He is so proud of it.
