I like ‘bad’ fanfiction I like crackfic and silly AUs I like fic that diverges so far from canon that it’s practically unrecognisable and fic that is blatantly self indulgent I like fanfics with no plot and cliches and predictable twists and repeated tropes! not every fanwork has to be a bestselling novel every single fic has a place and a purpose and sometimes I want to come home and read something that doesn’t require me to think! sue me

Is it just me but when someone comments or reblogs an old fic, do emotions rush in? Like suddenly you remember what you felt while writing that story? You remember what your characters felt? How it was like when you finally shared it to the world community? And then there’s just this immense pride and joy that you got to create something that means something to another person, that it made them laugh and smile and cry and believe in love and realize something about themselves?

Just being a little sentimental about it, how I got into this rabbit hole of reading fics 4 years ago and got the courage to write a year later and now I have a collection of my own stories that I love and appreciate, with characters that are a part of me, too. Write what you want to read, they said, and I did. And I’m not one to brag about myself but I did pretty good, and I’m proud of every single story I wrote and put out, and I’ll definitely be rereading them.

Here’s to every one of you who’s ever read a story. 💕

And here’s to every one of you who writes - only you know the amount of time and energy and love you put into your work and your characters. Only you know what it feels like putting your heart into a story that you created. You did good. Be your first fan. And know you’ve made someone’s day. Yo thanks for the good nights sleep bro 🙏 I'm not usually a horror fan (besides Hannibal) BUT I FOUND YOUR ART AND IT'S SO YUMMY I LOVE IT, so I started reading some chainshipping fics, then started getting into Saw the musical (cus of my theatre kid genes) btw the musical is an absolute masterpiece wtf. Then I finally watch Saw which was a lot more funny than I anticipated and honestly after watching that movie I slept like a baby so thanks for that. I can't stop thinking about these tragic little gay guys so.... Not really thanks for that but yeah 😍🫶

Seriously RC is one of the most generous apps I’ve used, we just finished a shopping day not even 24 hrs ago and now we’re getting another DR right after. Omg we’re so spoileddddd

Along with this app having some of the most complex branching along with great character design and the backgrounds being so gorgeous. Don’t even get me started on the writing. I literally feel like I’m reading a novel with some of the stories on there, especially when comparing to some of the bigger Visual Novel mobile games there are, I really feel like RC has some of the best.

But I am hella biased because Heaven’s Secret is on RC and it’s my ultimate favorite visual novel hahahah.

Merlin x Lancelot

So, agh, I go back and forth on this one A LOT. Because on one hand, I tend to headcanon Lancelot as straight, but then I see their scenes together and I go 🤔🤔

Honestly, I think Merlin and Lance are so goddamn charming that they are able to have extreme chemistry with basically anyone, so when the two of them are together, it’s like there are fireworks every second.

There are ships I like better than this one, but it IS an amazing ship. Lance matches Merlin’s sweetness to a crazy degree and it’s everything Merlin deserves, but not what I think Merlin falls hard for. I think they’re both so kind that there’d basically never be any angst and I need some angst lol

That being said, Lance should’ve been around him a lot more, in whatever way the writers would’ve given. Merlin needed someone like him around and they clearly made each other happy.
