Hi...if you don't mind, can I ask something from JJK? What do you think are Gojo and Geto’s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? Also, what are your fav stsg moments? Sorry if you've answered these questions before.....

Oh man this is such a loaded question 😭 Sorry it took me a while to get to this, I had to take some time to think about it. I’ve never really been asked these before so it was interesting to think about!

I think Gojo’s personality strengths lie in the fact that when he cares deeply for others, he will do everything in his ability to keep them safe. We can see this when he runs himself into the ground trying to keep Riko safe while they’re on vacation to when he puts his own life on the line to help his students and keep them away from the higher ups’ grasp as best as he can.

His weaknesses though I think come from his complex of “being the strongest” leading to him to struggle under that title. I believe he finds it hard to disconnect himself from that title, and the only person that truly saw him for him was Geto, so when he defected it only made things worse for him. After Geto left, leaving with his famous parting words “Are you Gojo Satoru because you’re the strongest, or are you the strongest because you're Gojo Satoru.” it probably only perpetuated the problem in his head, especially after he failed to save Riko. If he truly was the strongest, how are all of these people that he cares for leaving him? 

When it comes to Geto, it’s a bit tricker to decipher his strengths and weaknesses. I think his strengths definitely come from his moral compass, as skewed as that becomes after he defects. When he truly believes in something, like he said, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. He attacks Jujutsu High in an attempt to chase his goal, but doesn’t kill Inumaki and the others when they come to stop him since they are young sorcerers and would only be beneficial to his cause in the long run if he was able to turn them over to his side.

But, I think a really prominent weakness of his also comes from that moral compass, and the blindness it causes him. Initially, he’s very for protecting the weak and non-sorcerers of society, but when that is slowly chipped away at, he’s left lost and wondering, leading to him having that mental break when he finds the twins. He put his belief so strongly into protecting the weak, yet the “weak” turned around and did that to two children. He puts his faith in this new belief that non-jujutsu sorcerers are a stain on society and should be cleansed from the earth which ultimately leads to his downfall.

Their dynamic makes me cry so much, it’s tragic. I feel like they see the real person behind the powers and cursed techniques in one another. Yes, they play jokes and annoy the other (mainly Gojo to Geto) but at the end of the day they still care deeply for each other. That even goes through Geto leaving. There’s no way in my opinion that Gojo COULDN’T kill him in the 10 years he was gone, I feel like he couldn’t bring himself to do so. If Geto didn’t declare war and try to take Rika, I feel like he could have gone on much longer without Gojo ending him. Gojo still has some trust in Geto even after everything, and I think that speaks volumes into how deep their connection runs.

To that point, a favorite stsg moment of mine has to be when Geto’s body instinctively fights back against Kenjaku (the first body to ever do so) to protect Gojo. While yes, I wish it was actually him doing that, the fact that his body did that on its own is incredible. Some of my other favorite moments include: the beach scene, when Geto is confronting and checking in on Gojo after he hadn’t dropped his technique, but Gojo assures him it’s fine because he was there too; Geto just calling Satoru’s name (the way he says it is to die for); and do I even need to say the end scene at the end of JJk zero gets me everytime? Because it does. There's more but those are the standout ones to me :))

Do you prefer to DM or play?

Honestly, I do prefer to play most of the time. But the more I play, the more I encounter situations where I'm like "Hm. I would have handled that differently". And inevitably I come up with an idea that won't leave me and I need to just make a campaign about it. Playing is more fun and carefree, but I love the creative challenge of DMing, and I love getting to be in control.

What is your favorite snack for d&d?

I love the charcuterie board lifestyle. Give me crackers and cheese and salami and grapes and olives and a bottle of wine. There are a couple of hard core hedonists in my gaming group, so we manage to make this happen fairly often.

Favorite classic d&d trope?

I love building those "Ride or Die" relationships with my party. And I love experiencing the moment where my character realizes that is what they have.

okay. SO:

Yes, you probably will get to kiss the narnia blorbos...probably. Thing is, I'm not really good at developing romance plots (mostly cuz my brain never actually goes that far in planning and I always get caught up in leading events), but yes, I'm hoping I can actually get that far.

In terms of development...? Definitely Sun first, simply because he falls hard the second he meets you. Unfortunately, it's less because of you and more because of his past with humans and how scarce they are. You're the first human he's ever actually been able to talk to, you're there and you're real, and he doesn't want to let go of that. And it gets even better when he realizes that you like him too; after all, why else would you keep coming back to this dull and dreary world? He hasn't talked to anyone in a long time, and he doesn't want to give that up so soon, and of course, he has to protect what's his, doesn't he? Yes yes yes,especially in a world as dangerous as this one! He feels a strong need to protect you, especially after you meet Moon, who has a...slightly less pure love for you.

(Keep in mind, by the way, that Sun can be just as dangerous as Moon should he choose to be.)

Moon is definitely interested in you upon meeting you, but for...other reasons. He hasn't seen a human around in a long time either, or at least, not one who's lasted so long without his notice. Sun's lucky that Moon looks out for him, or the White Witch would surely punish them both for not handing them over. Thankfully, Moon is there to correct Sun's grave error by collecting the human himself! He hasn't had a new charge to tend to in a while, after all.

The Stone Garden is quiet up on the hill.

Moon does find you sweet and charming in your own little way, and he likes you, but like Sun, he wants to keep you for himself, and so he tries to convince you to take up his offer on visiting the Stone Garden and stopping by sometime, he's sure you'd like it, and he could protect you so well, just like all his other silent charges. You're so fragile, and fragile things need to be protected, yes yes, that's his job, the silent protector. And you're on board with it, too! Sure, he hasn't specified how long your visit would be, but you didn't seem to mind, none of his charges did in the end, or else they would surely say something about it. Every time he tries to take you, though, something pops up, and you leave him behind. Someday, he thinks, someday he'll have you all to himself.

Anything that could get you in trouble...? Well, a lot of things, actually, not that you really seem to mind. You find a good deal of interest in this world and its inhabitants, and they're all so friendly. Fortunately enough for everyone keeping a lookout for you, your obliviousness keeps you blissfully ignorant of all that goes on in the woods, and everyone is free to conspire as they wish. A few words of advice Moon's charges could have given you if they could voice them, however:

Trust no one.

Do not test the Dark Moon.

Beware the White Rabbit.

Avoid caves.

Don't eat anything offered.

Leave while you still can.

weeeeelllll, someone suggested it being Michael, but the image of Freddy as a literal god was just to hilarious not to include, so I left it at that. Unfortunately I don't know much game lore regarding Michael (I really gotta do some research when I have the time), but I'd probably include him in Aslan's army as one of the people who escaped before Afton rose to power. After that, none of Aslan's followers were able to leave on account of being trapped in ice, and most of them were swiftly dealt with.

I grew up in like a small town inside a city which I think is so weird. So everyone kinda knew everyone and my highschool was really small, but also it rarely got boring because there was the city right there to do stuff. It was pretty fine, I was a lot poorer than a lot of the other students but most of my friends were too so it was easy to ignore.

Jolin Tsai! There are others, but she's definitely the first and longest (I've been a fan since 1999 when she released her first album)

5. what are your favorite and least favorite concepts?

My facetious answer is: favorite - gay, least favorite - straight. This is mostly a joke, but there are definitely things that I'm not interested in because they're painfully heteronormative.

My more serious answer: I tend to like elegant concepts and storytelling, cute can work for me, but it has to be well executed. I love fantasy and sci fi when done well. I don't tend to like sexy just to be sexy, and I am not a horror person, though it can work for me if done exactly right. I don't like noisy for noisiness sake.

23. what is your love language?

I tend to show affection by trying to help people with things. Being able to research something or problem solve. Being there to listen and support. In person I cook for people as a form of affection. It's part of why teaching is a field that works well for me.

Since the fandom I have been active in on tumblr is Mario, my answers will be mostly center around that fandom.

8. You hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

Mostly Peach. Based on my time here, Peach is a popular and well-liked character. However, in other media, she is often bashed, rebuked, and seen as inferior to the other female Mario characters. I think a lot of that has to do with her being kidnapped in many Mario games and her being the primary female character. Mario suffers from this as well, especially when compared to Luigi. Back to Peach, she is much more than that, of course. I find her to be a very charming, fun and in today's female character landscape, unique character. This shows significantly outside of the mainline Mario games. With Princess Peach Showtime coming out in March, I believe it will showcase more of her positive traits, and I think that could go a long way when it comes to her being appreciated more (I also hope the game is a good one). Although I could say this about all of the Mario characters and everything about them (ships, games, and others included), Peach is the one who immediately came to mind regarding this question.

14. The ship that always makes you smile

Mareach (Mario x Princess Peach) hands down. 😊 The idea of a short yet courageous blue-collar plumber with a heart of gold who is not considered to be conventionally attractive by most of society's standards being paired with a tall, beautiful, regal, and kind-hearted princess who is thankful and appreciative of said plumber (the cakes and kisses, just to name a few) just really hits the feels. Luaisy (Luigi x Princess Daisy) is another one I love seeing, especially with the plumber/princess dynamic albeit with different personalities and characteristics. 😂

1. What are your top 3 favorite sets you’ve made

still gay, still murderous: It's one the first sets of mine that popped off and sort of became a sleeper hit. Several friends later told me that this is how they got the dick jokes and came to recognize my gifs 🤣.

failed spy!Pete was started at 3am and finished at 7. I had an idea and I just… I had to get it out. Good thing I already figured out how to export gifs in AE by then. There's no way I could have pulled this off in PS.

I know I can only pick one more but the peach and boob sets? They go hand in hand. These two alone are 90% of my Tumblr brand 😂.

So many! Ok, let's get to it.

How many words have you written this year? I'm going to fudge a little and go with "how many words have I published this year" because life is too short to spend time worrying about which of my WIPs I worked on in 2022. In 2023 I published 39,153 words on Ao3.

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)? The Bronze Age, of course! I first got the idea for that fucker nearly two entire years ago. The brainstorming! The research! The editing and rewrites! And I think I actually said something with it, you know? About Andy, and her life, and her future. What a life like hers might look like. I haven't been writing fic all that long (just since fall 2021) and I never imagined I could pull off something like this until I actually did it. (Not just the length - it took me a while to feel like I could write Andy even in short fics, because she's so far outside human comprehension.)

5. What work of yours got more feedback than you expected? I was kind of bummed about the level of engagement with The Bronze Age, so when I posted First Instar I tried to keep my expectations modest. Non-kaysanova fics get much less of a response, and First Instar is gen and Nile POV. But it got so much love! And several of the comments were specifically about things I'd done differently from popular fanon, which I'd been worried about getting pushback on. So that was very gratifying and affirming.

9. Favorite pairing you wrote for this year? I pretty much only write canon-compliant Old Guard fic, which has a limited number of pairings. But in the Bronze Age I got to throw in a bit of Andy/Quynh/Lykon, and that was a ton of fun. Of course, there's very little canon characterization of Quynh and none of Lykon, and basically nothing showing how the three of them interact, so there's a lot of freedom there. I really enjoyed it and I love how it turned out.

None actually. I write. I glance again to see if I should correct something,then post. If I needed a beta,I go for it. Not much of revisions

I write both actually. But writing prose Is less stressful. I will break my head over writing a poem. It needs more time,effort and creativity which I don't have.

Not much. I just write what I want to say to people. A few times,I put Kurt in my situations and Blaine is my imaginary comfort character

I think every one of my story ideas are weird. I want to write a cadaver story. Like a spouse is dead and her/his body is donated to a medschool. Another spouse decides to study for pre med/med to find the spouse is embalmed and his study device that is a cadaver. Scary isn't it?

5) What’s your favorite thing about boys?

How to pick just one aspect? I like when they’re roundsome, fuzzy, and/or nerdy. When their shirt lifts up to reveal a sliver of stomach or (more dramatically) when they use the hem of their shirt to wipe their brow or clean their glasses. 😮‍💨

8) Favorite fall color?

I’m partial to the greens, whether warm or cool. Maybe an eggplant purple, if that counts.

29) What’s a compliment you’d love to receive from a boy?

Honestly, any sincere compliment about my appearance (or performance) would be appreciated. I’ve gotten some very kind words about my demeanor and character (which I do appreciate), but a person does like to be sexually objectified once in a while.

I appreciate a heavyset guy so a rounded silhouette is usually what draws my attention.

Hi OC bingo friend, I have you on my card this year and I have some questions about your characters:

What's Julie's earliest memory? What does Becca do to relax? What is Alyssa's go to comfort food? Which of your OCs is the funniest? Which of your OCs is the bravest? Which of your OCs would trust most with a secret? When creating an OC do you usually have a face claim, name or backstory first?

I'm not sure that I've thought about Julie's first memory. But I think it definitely involved Johnny. Perhaps, he was reading to her.

Usually, Becca would turn to some form of exercise to relax (aerobics, jogging, dance). If she's too keyed up, she'll do yoga or listen to music.

A big bowl of ice cream topped with gobs of peanut butter, Cool Whip, and chocolate syrup. Or sour gummy candies of some sort.

Jimmy and Jenny's middle son, Jesse, thinks he's funny. He's definitely a jokester and a class clown. He definitely tries to emulate his Uncle Tommy. Alyssa has a snarky sense of humor.

I would probably say Becca. She is ready to defend any of her friends. She has no problem getting up in either Dutch (the most intimidating of her brother's friends) or Courtney's (a childhood enemy/alpha bitch classmate) faces.

Hmm. That is a tough one. Julie and Becca trust each other with most secrets, but both have withheld secrets from each other and have told the other's secrets to someone else for various reasons. I might have to say Alyssa, who kept her uncle's students' secrets.

Usually, I come up with a backstory, then a physical description or name, and finally, a face claim that I feel meets the character's needs and/or physical attributes.
