It's a variation of a name I used to use (the stripper name) Nixxie Kit was the name.

My url breaks down to 2 nicknames and an interest. I mean 3 technically honeybee or bee is one of my nicknames as is kit or kitty. Deepsea is both life and an interest. I'm a pagan I love doing rituals that are surrounded by lakes or beaches. But the fact I've never seen the ocean (yet) I thought it was a fun lil thing. Plus when playing online games or joining chats I use names like sea-kitten. It just seemed to make sense. At least when I was changing it. My original Tumblr name was Blackflamingo-radioluv because when I made my Tumblr back in uhh a long time ago I was in high school striving to go to broadcasting school

Oh gosh movies I like so many... But also my memory sucks so I'll have to give you the ones I remember right now. Lord of the rings movies all of them are great return of the king is my favorite of those. The first spiderman movie. Uhm the mummy movies because everything about them is great and pft Brendan Fraser. Most of my other favorites are animated. None of which come to mind right now sorry.

You mean, like me, a professional illustrator in her 40s, who has started drawing at the age of 8 and who has been drawing with a consistant art style for the past 15 years (with some improvements, thank god 🤓) ? People like you have accused me of tracing using tracing paper when I was a kid, tracing in Photoshop 15 years ago when I started to post on the internet and now my art is "AI". I should be used to it by now: when I posted this one 14 YEARS AGO, people told me it was traced and that "I wasn't a real artist, actual artists could tell"

I've consistently posted step by step, WIPs, vids, reels, gifs, shown the number of layers I use by art (sometimes more than 100) but apparently, it's never enough. And my art is AI generated ? Which one ?

So much for the Loki one, I apologize for the 0,3%…

Which is also funny is that fans of Supernatural, Good Omens, Sherlock, etc…have been able to say exactly which reference pictures I used for each drawing, not only for faces but sometimes also for the pose and the clothing (because yes, omg, I use reference pictures, the horror 😲)

However if you want to talk about my technique, and I've never hidden it, I sometimes use photos or 3D models for backgrounds because I hate drawing backgrounds. For instance the background of the Superwholock one is composed of a couple of stock pictures (a pub).

Same for a "Sherlock Harry Potter AU" I'll post in a month or so: some parts oh Hogwarts are screenshots from the movie because I didn't feel like drawing a room full of students.

Also, is there sometimes mistakes in my art that don't make sense ? Yes, nothing new, I make mistakes, I've been doing it for years and I still do it, particularly when it comes to anatomy. I want to pull my hair out when I notice them weeks (sometimes months) later but here we are.

Anyway, people like you who throw "it's AI" accusations all over the Internet better think twice because the result is this.

Don't get me wrong, I get the AI paranoia but instead of sending messages to artists like this one, ask kindly about their process, their technique, etc…and also, have a look at their archive, it could help.

I'm leaving you now, I have AI art to generate (= spending 10 hours per drawing using reference pictures, finding inspiration from classical painting, using about 100 layers and stressing about the art not being good enough).

Obsessive!Jing Yuan with a Skittish!equally-obessive!Reader being childhood friends. Theyve kinda drifted a bit because of how Jing Yuan got busy and reader didnt want to impede. Yet reader has been with him through thick and thin, knowing him the most.

Id imagine reader stalks him, takes photos and evensneaking into his house to grab things for their altar(old shirt, their brush, ext.). They go so often thatMimi recognizes them (due to them wearing JingYuans shirts they've stolen) and will preen for affection. Unfortunately, reader is weak to Mimi and spoils Mimi with affection before stealing what they want and leaving. This even extends to the finches too, and they won't leave reader alone either.

(l'd imagine when reader visits Jing Yuans placeformally, Mimi is ALL OVER reader. It's to the pointthat Jing Yuan gets Jealous and pouty about it, buthe can't get too mad since he loves seeing thepeople he cares about being so close wnudbdn)

Readers too nervous to approach Jing Yuan aboutit, despite knowing eachother for so long. Readerbelieves that Jing Yuan wouldn't love someone "like them" and has planned to leave the Loufupermanently out of despair. With the chaos resulting from the stelleron, they sneak into his house one last time, to steal stuff and to saygoodbye to Mimi. The problem? Jing Yuan comes home earlier thanexpected after talking to Astral Crew of the Stelleron Crisis, catching them red handed. Petting Mimi, surrounded by finches and wearing his shirt. Where mere moments ago, reader had been confessing their insecurities and shame about their obsession with their "dad" for like Centuries. Even revealing that the real reason for leaving wasn't due to work, but because of Jing Yuan.

When jing yuan overhears that reader is permanently leaving the Loufu, hes quiet. Hes the reason that they were going to leave? After giving a confession like that? That won't do. He will not let his pretty darling slip out of his grasp, after waiting for so long.

I just want him to drown reader in so much of hislove that reader can't think badly of themselves. If reader can form a cohesive thought, objecting tohis praise and affections? He's not done.

I'd imagine Jing Yuan cooing as reader comes undone the nthtime, overstimulated and whining so prettily for him as he devours reader's sweet essance directly from the sourc I want him to whisper all the fantasies he's had about reader as he rails reader into his bed. Yes, keeping goth vibes. But also to my understanding black lightsabers come about for certain reasons. Ones I can't remember right now I don't have alot of star wars knowledge but if I asked Wolf they could probably explain it to me again... And I still couldn't really tell you. But it's clever I think.

Of course friend, in person I can be a fairly shy. There are very few people I'm completely outgoing around. So I under no reason want anyone to feel pressured to speak or anything ya know.

I’m just curious because I’ve fallen in love with your art in the life of Bucky Barnes, but I’m not really informed on whether you write your fics and draw for them too or not, or if people base their fics on your art and you just partner up with them.

Oh yes, I did, tons of them! I used to collaborate A LOT between 2009 and 2015 but then :

I started The Life of Bucky Barnes in 2014, so less time for bangs, as The LoBB was extremely time-consuming

I had big health problem between 2014-2019 so less energy to do bangs (I was afraid to let authors down and not being ready for the deadline so I stopped signing up)

Everything was happening on Live Journal, I found it easy and convenient but when things started to move to Tumblr and that the sign ups + "fic grabbing" system changed (like Google drive forms and whatnot), my old ass dropped bangs entirely. My age is showing. 🤓

Under what circumstances do you draw for fics?

Two circonstances:

I sign up for a bang (because I love the ship or the theme of the bang), I see a summary that I like, I grab it and then I illustrate the fic. It can also be the other way around when it's for Reverse Bang for instance: I draw an artwork and an author grabs my art.

I collaborate with friends, fic authors that I met after years in the same fandom even if I must admit I haven't done it in ages.

sorry I hate to do this and you don't have to publish this at all!! but I just wanted to let you know that i study sports science at university 🤓 and as far as I can see pyry is one of the best driver coaches on the grid! i saw in the post that you linked in response to another anon the other day and the op of that actually answered a follow up question about it and provided more details on her concerns. the "pseudoscience experiments and gear" turns out to be really normal and common stuff that's common across the elite athlete coaching industry. it's not been around for long, but it definitely isn't harmful to the athlete in any way.

personally i think it's really good that pyry is engaged enough to keep up with emerging science and tech! the betting on pierre's weight thing was new to me and I was really surprised by it because I follow pyry quite closely! but if it is accurate, then that's definitely bad form and I can't defend it (even if it's a joke between friends!) but the other stuff really isn't bad or at all harmful.

one day I want to be a professional coach 🤞 so I follow this stuff pretty closely and as far as has been made public (except the betting) pyry seems like one of the best on the grid! I really look up to him and his approach a lot! please don't post this if it'll cause tension with your mutual who doesn't like him i just wanted to let you know! 💞

hi anon so sorry im late. thank you so much for this very sweet and considerate message it literally made my day 😳 i don't know much about sports science and couldn't find a lot on his instagram so i'll probably remain neutral slightly skeptical (that comes from a protectiveness towards my string bean of a blorbo who hasn't had the best of luck with trainers) but im so sooo glad pyry has ur professional vote!!! this gives me faith and a lil peace of mind and i really appreciate it!!!
