(Sorry if this has been asked already) But how is Etho’s brain similar and different to that of a human, like is Etho capable of comprehending emotions and empathy or is his brain wired differently so he can be a perfect predator or is it somewhat of a balance? How is he intellectually and emotionally?

Ethos brain is very similar to that of a human's, he's very capable of empathy as well as a wide range of emotions. His current seeming lack of empathy comes more from his own choices rather than a lack of capability. Etho doesn't abide by any moral code, he's only an onlooker when it comes to human social constructs. He has an understanding of human ethics purely from observation. There's nothing wired in his brain specifically for hunting, his intelligence does play a large part in hunting though, usually prefering to trick or stun prey instead of relying purely on raw strength. Intellectually and emotionally speaking his brain differs very little from a human's. I will say though etho does struggle with emotions, especially labeling them, along with having issues when it comes to tone but he's just autistic to me 🫶 can sea critters be autistic idk doesn't matter

Zora princess engagement

The Legend of Zelda has a history of Zora princesses falling in love with/being engaged to the Hero of Hyrule/Link

So therefore, in Echoes of Wisdom, I would like for:

A- Zelda to run across a Zora princess engaged to Link and tell her hands off, he's kidnapped

B- Zelda to be engaged to a Zora princess and tell her no, Link is kidnapped

C- With both the river and ocean Zora being in Eow, BOTH Link and Zelda were engaged to Zora royalty, who are pissed that they now have to marry each other instead since Link is kidnapped

This is half joking but tbh I really would love for the Zora engagement trope to show up again

I mean the entirety of Eow is set up for Zelink. He chases her. She chases him. It's the idea that they're not whole without the other- if Link is taken so is Zelda. (see what I did there. Taken. Like kidnapped but also taken like in love with someone already. So they're both taken- ok moving on)

So yeah the zelink is so strong in this game from the four minute trailer(s), I really wanna see a Zora engagement because of the potential for *drama*

I saw it in your tag game post that you're also fond of the Apollo-Heracles conflict 👀 for a myth that appears in only a couple of sources, it sure has a lot of presence in the vase paintings (no seriously, everytime I think I've seen the last of it, I find ten more)

SO do you have any favorites among the paintings that represent this story??

I also think it's extremely interesting that it's a story so popularly portrayed by vase paintings and in such a variety of ways!! It's certainly one of the stories that gets left out of written compilation of Heracles' legend a bit (which is a shame, I think it's a fantastic story) but Apollo had a very peculiar relationship with Heracles in general that I just kind of find amazing (and very, very funny).

Apollo is not a god with any legitimate grudge against Heracles, but he does argue with the mortal a bit like he argues with his favourite brothers 😂Part of why I love the story of Apollo and Heracles fighting over the tripod so much is that it is such a little brother thing for Heracles to be upset with the proclamation his elder brother has given him and so, he throws a great fit, taking up the chair and declaring that he'll just give himself a better prophecy! And Apollo, instead of being a marginally professional big brother, decides to fight him for it until their father has to break up their cat-fight. Like was that not just the plot of the Homeric Hymn to Hermes? Is this not exactly how Apollo treated Hermes when he was a child and now those two are inseparable? 💀

Because of this, my favourite vase paintings tend to be the ones that highlight the personal squabbling between Apollo and Heracles the most. There are some very elaborate ones that have the full host of them - Athena, Heracles, Apollo, Artemis, usually a dog and a doe, I've even seen a couple that had birds and plants etched on them, but the simplest ones that show Heracles about to bonk Apollo with his club out of frustration or depict Heracles nyooming away from Apollo while Apollo (presumably) yells curses about how he's going to fling Heracles head first into Tartarus for daring to take his things? Yeah, those are the premium big brother/little brother things I'm looking for.

[I had this in the drafts since March lmao, and because I don't want to delete it, I'll post it now without analyzing the whole scene. TeeWhite's backstory makes me too sad to revisit right now, sorry guys.] I am obsessed with the subtlety surrounding TeeWhite. It's written in a way that's not too obscure - most audience members will be able to catch it if they pay attention - but it's also not shoved in your face, which I truly appreciate. Because of that, I wanted to touch upon some of the intricate things the writers used in their backstory in order to build upon their relationship. It starts happening from their first actual talk. White goes to find Tee and sees him smoking pot, which he asks him about:

I love how eager he is to try it. I love that it's the first thing that comes to his mind to ask. And the reason for that, is because White is talking about Tee here. He wants to "try Tee", he wants to get closer to him, to get to know him, and just uses the cigarette as an excuse. As I said, it's not hidden or anything. Most people get what White wants here, but it lays the foundation for later scenes nonetheless. Tee, in response to White's question, says this:

Simple to interpret really: "You're just a kid" = "You're innocent" "Don't try this kind of stuff, it's not good" = "Don't get closer to me, I'm not good" "Get lost" = "Don't come into my life" White's response to this, however, is this:

"If you say you're bad, why aren't you doing anything about it? Why aren't you trying to become a better person?" White is asking Tee important questions here. Tee isn't ready to answer them though, evident by how he blows smoke to White's face instead of doing that. Throwing a part of his worst self at him, telling him he "talks too much" to shut him up. I lovelovelove how White at first frowns and waves his hand to get rid of the smoke, but then settles and continues being in Tee's presence. He looks away for a moment with a look of disgust on his face, but he stays. He accepts the bad parts of Tee, and he stays. Last, but certainly not least: the candy.

Once again, it's kind of obvious how they use it, but it's brilliant regardless and I love it so much. So, in my eyes, the candy is there for 2 reasons: 1) For White to use as an excuse to kiss Tee, as evident below:

2) Because it's sweet. It symbolizes White, just as the pot symbolizes Tee. Bitter and sweet, like them.

Okay so first of all uhhh I loved the cute Nigel and Isaac moments xD. And also this episode was hilarious lol. Having said that, I hope the bachelor party side of things is never referenced again 💀 XDD

Anyway! Missed seeing much of Hetty and Pete today, but I'm sure we'll see them again soon :). And we did see them, it was just mostly in the beginning. Pete's outfit joke (and the fact that he kept saying it) was so funny xD. And Hetty doing her darndest as a wedding planner lol. Also her friendship with Alberta is so sweet :')). And calling her "Bertie" stooop they're so cute 😭🥺🥰.

I'm happy Alberta got to have a romance with a guy :D. And the poltergeist ghost lore was really cool :O :D! Poor Saul is kind of going through it overall though xD. But hey, he gets to travel :D. It has its benefits and its drawbacks compared to a car ghost lol, but it seems pretty chilling :)). It's too bad him and Alberta didn't work out :(, but they were cute while they lasted :D. And poor Jay xD. Glad bro's finally free lol. Even if he had to, but didn't actually have to, hug Jean in the process lol.

Trevor, the bad influence 💀. Lowkey despising what he's caused, but hey at least he made sure they both had fun and also equal experiences lol xD. I just hope it doesn't cause any problems in the future xd <3. Also AAHHHH they're getting married soon :'DD!! Stoppp I'm so excited :')). I love my idiots so much <33.

Also Thor's reaction to the stripper was hilarious xD. I just loved that moment lol. Also Sma at the end o.o. I mean get it girl but xdd girl xD. Also her just saying "yeah sure 😐' when they asked was wild but so real xDD. She'd had a rough week lol.

Anyway, I did genuinely enjoy this episode xD. The second hand embarrassment is just strong with this one lol (as it tends to be in sitcoms slfjhdks xD). But!! Was living for the cute Nisaac moments :D, and we got some cool ghost lore! Plus, good for Alberta :)). She got some water lol. But yeah! Hilarious episode, really fun xD :). Loved it!!
