I am not going to start fights on other people's posts, and no doubt this will come across less coherent than what others have said before, but:

I did not enjoy season 2. I did not enjoy the 'we went too fast, because we're both prone to whims' relationship culminating in what could be described as a whim (and what only one member of the couple had shown interest in, while he was literally in purgatory). I did not enjoy the complete lack of attention paid to the fact that Stede was pulled out of bed at gunpoint, witnessed a man shoot his own brains out, and then walk barefoot back to his wife; all of that being glossed over/not admitted to Ed beyond "You went back to Mary". I did not enjoy "growth" represented by Stede being very affected by the first death he caused, and then going on to purposefully murder someone and the lack of conversation that happened between him and Ed about that and about why Ed didn't want him to. I did not enjoy Zheng being introduced as a super cool and badass female character of color only for her entire fleet to be destroyed and to need a white man to pep talk her into getting revenge.

I was disappointed. [I am also disappointed in fans being absolutely hateful to one another over differing opinions. The above are my opinions. I'm not saying yours are wrong! Different people like different things, but it's not unreasonable for people to have emotions about being disappointed.]

So my grandad’s house is infested by cockroaches and i avoided it as much as i could even though i do kinda miss visiting my grandad.

So today came some parents from Brazil and they decided to host it at my grandad’s, now it’s been ages since i last saw them and i would have loved to go, but there was still the beetles issue.

Long story short, they convinced me to go and we dined together until at some point i glanced towards the door and i saw A FUCKING HUGE ONE- Now i rationalized that i couldn’t make a scene in front of my brazilian family but i still couldn’t avoid looking at it and point at it for someone to DO SOMETHING.

And well i cowered in my brazilian cousin’s arms and stayed there until they captured it while trying not to panick to much (and i managed it, because thank god my brazilian cousin was nice to me and held me without sprouting shit about it being ‘just a bug’).

In the end I went home earlier and here i am thinking that i did make a scene in front of my family, but i managed pretty smooth anyway and that sometimes just holding someone when they’re scared shitless instead of saying that you’re crazy for being afraid of something can really put your heart a lil bit at ease-
