People who complained in 2012 that Andrew Garfield was too attractive to play Peter Parker probably didn’t read many Spidey comics before then coz Peter Parker’s canonically hot shit. Famous actress and supermodel MJ Watson?? Gwendolyn Stacy?? FELICIA HARDY A.K.A. BLACK CAT?? Literally characters who had no idea that Peter’s Spider-Man wanted to date him AS WELL AS characters who didn’t care much about the Peter Parker side of him. From practically every direction there’s somebody being like “yeah I used to have a crush on him.” like honestly. Yes Peter Parker’s a super intelligent person with a good heart who would literally die to help people, but he also literally married a supermodel.

Emily Jean Stone, nació el 6 de noviembre de 1988 en Scottsdale, Arizona (Estados Unidos). Es hija de Jeff Stone y Krista Yeager, y tiene un hermano menor, Spencer. Por sus venas corre sangre inglesa, irlandesa, escocesa, sueca y alemana.

 A los cuatro años ya manifestó su vocación artística. Además, desde los 8 años sufría de ataques de pánico, lo que le dificultaba su día a día en el colegio y su vida social: "No quería ir a casa de mis amigos ni salir con nadie, y nadie lo entendía"

 Pero, a partir de los 11 años la interpretación fue su manera de enfrentarse a ello, comenzando a actuar en comedias improvisadas: "me dio un propósito, el de hacer reír a la gente"

Así, tras actuar en diversas obras de teatro escolares y comunitarias, Emma dejó la escuela secundaria para mudarse a Los Ángeles con 15 años, en busca de su sueño de convertirse en actriz. 

 Comenzó con anuncios publicitarios, mientras intentaba suerte en algunos castings de series, o de programas para cadenas como Disney Channel, encontrándose siempre con negativas.

 Así, tuvo que pasar por papeles pequeños y episódicos en series como "Medium" o "Malcom in the Middle", y por películas de mala recepción como "The Rocker" (2008), sin lograr un personaje principal en una serie relevante... Hasta 2009.

El papel que supuso su verdadero salto en la casilla de lanzamiento fue con la exitosa "Zombieland" (2009). Un año redondo para Emma Stone, porque también trabajó en otras dos películas, "Paper Man" y "Ghosts of Girlfriends". Después de eso, vinieron algunos papeles como "Easy A" (2010) o "Crazy, Stupid, Love" (2011), pero fue un año después cuando saltó definitivamente a la fama con "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012), interpretando a Gwen Stacy.Repitió el papel en 2014 en "The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro" (2014). Otros de sus trabajos en esta etapa fueron "The Help" (2012), "Magic in the Moonlight" (2014), "Birdman" (2014), "Gangster Squad" (2013), "Aloha" (2015). Sin embargo, en 2016 vino su consagración definitiva como estrella de Hollywood gracias a su papel en la célebre "La La Land". Desde entonces, su filmografía no ha hecho más que crecer, con películas como "Battle of the Sexes" (2017), "The Favourite" (2018), "Zombieland: Double Tap" (2019), o "Cruella" (2021) y series como "Maniac" (2018). 

  En cuanto a su vida personal, Emma Stone ha tenido un par de relaciones conocidas. La primera de ellas, precisamente, con su compañero de reparto de "The Amazing Spiderman", Andrew Garfield, de 2011 a 2015.

La segunda, con Dave McCary, de "Saturday Night Live", con quien empezó a salir en 2017. En 2019 se comprometieron y un año después se dieron el "sí, quiero". En 2021 tuvieron una hija y siguen juntos desde entonces.

Respecto a su carrera profesional, Emma no para quieta. Por un lado, trabajará en la serie "The Curse", para Showtime. Por otro, el Festival de Venecia pudo anticiparse al próximo debut de "Poor Things", la próxima película de Stone en la que vuelve a colaborar con el director Yorgos Lanthimos ("The Favourite").
