It's been three long months since Eric left for his world tour with The Boyz. Being in a long distance relationship with an idol isn't easy, especially when we're both always so busy but knowing he's living his dream makes the days apart worthwhile. We did our best to stay connected—late-night video calls, endless texting, and sending voice notes filled with our laughter. But nothing beats being together in person.

Now, our reunion is just a few hours away. Eric suggested a private vacation, just the two of us, away from the fanfare and flashing cameras. I can't wait to wrap my arms around him and feel his warmth again.

As I stepped out the taxi and onto the sandy pathway leading to the secluded beach house, my heart pounded with excitement. I took a deep breath, feeling the salty sea air filling my lungs, and broke into a run. There he was, standing on the wooden porch, his eyes lighting up the moment he saw me.

"Y/N!" Eric's voice was a melody I had missed so dearly. He dashed down the steps and caught me in a tight embrace, spinning me around as I laughed. He makes me feel as a Disney princess finding true love all over again, every time we are together.

"Eric, I've missed you so much!" I buried my face in his chest, inhaling his familiar scent. It felt like coming home.

"I missed you too, more than words can say," he murmured into my hair, finally setting me down but not letting go.

The beach house was everything we had hoped for. Tucked away from the world, it was our little slice of heaven. We spent the first day exploring. The quaint kitchen, cozy living room, and that spectacular view of the ocean from the bedroom window—every detail made the place feel like an escape just for us.

After unpacking, we decided to take a walk along the shore. The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden hue across the water.

"Remember the first time we talked about doing this?" Eric asked, holding my hand as we walked barefoot in the cool sand.

"Yeah, I think you were in Tokyo, and I was at that little café near my apartment," I recalled, smiling at the memory. "We both dreamed about a getaway like this, just you and me."

"I still can't believe it's real," he said, stopping to look at me. "Being with you, openly like this, it's everything I needed."

I squeezed his hand. "Me too, Eric. Me too."

The next few days felt like magic. Mornings started with lazy breakfasts on the porch, where we’d talk about everything and nothing. We had picnics on the beach, built sandcastles, and played in the waves like kids. We hiked through nearby trails and discovered hidden spots perfect for quiet moments.

One night, as we lay on a blanket under the stars, Eric turned to me, his eyes sparkling.

"Y/N, there's something I've been wanting to ask you," he said, tracing patterns on my hand.

"What is it?" I asked, my stomach fluttering with nerves.

"Even though my life gets crazy with all the traveling and schedules, I want you to know you're my constant. My home." He paused, taking a deep breath. "Would you… would you consider moving in with me once the tour's over?"

Tears welled up in my eyes. "Eric, are you serious?"

"As serious as I’ve ever been, plus it was discussed as a group, as a team that we wanted separate living spaces." he said, his voice soft but sure.

"Yes," I whispered, throwing my arms around him. "Absolutely yes."

Our private vacation gave us more than just a break from the world. It reminded us that no matter the distance or the challenges, our love was resilient. And now, we had a new step to look forward to—building a life together.

As the sun rose on our last day at the beach house, I knew that our hearts were more intertwined than ever, ready to face whatever came our way.

"To our future," Eric said, raising his coffee cup with a grin.

"To us," I echoed, clinking my cup against his, knowing that no matter what, we would always find our way back to each other.

imagine sitting in the cafe of your university when your boyfriend sunwoo joins you. he leans down to kiss your cheek, meanwhile you simply hum out a soft hello continuing your work. your nose down in a book, you don't look up right away until you hear him sucking down the last of his drink to draw your attention to him.

a smirk crosses his lips when your eyes slowly rise from your book to look over his sweatshirt and the shit eating grin on his face. you can feel your cheeks start to burn, your eyes glancing around the cafe to other students who have already scoffed at him and shook their head.

"what are you doing? we clearly don't go to yale, sunwoo. so I don't think your joke is going to really get the reaction you want, baby."

he laughs, leaning forward to rest one elbow on the table as not to obscure the large block letters proudly stating YALE EST. 1701 across his chest. while he seemed to not care about anyone else you wanted to sink under the table and hide from his antics.

"I thought it was a very cute sweatshirt, if they can't take a joke...fuck 'em. or...if you are just really wanting me out of my clothes we could make that happen too."

your boyfriend was never known for subtly or a quiet voice, so even his proposition for you to get him out of his clothes seem not to go unnoticed causing a snicker from a passing girl who raises her brows at you.

"or...I could murder you. headlines would read; "student loses their mind when boyfriend pushes them too far during exam season".

sunwoo laughs again reaching over to run his fingers along your cheek feeling how warm them are. he had wanted to make you laugh, smile, just something to get you to relax. you were so wound up. he was afraid you were going to be like a spring that shattered if he couldn't find the right way to release that tension.

"you just want your own yale sweatshirt, is that it? I'll let you have this one. just think how fucking cute you would look in mine, nothing on under it."

you can't help but to crack a smile causing sunwoo's cheeks to lift towards his eyes getting what he wanted. he was going to get you to chill out if his life depended on it.

"you are impossible kim sunwoo."

"and you study too much. come on..."

words start to fall from your lips when sunwoo stands to collect your book slipping it into your bag putting it over his shoulder but his fingers lace with yours and you can't seem to find the complaint you were looking for. instead you seem to melt under his gaze with a soft sigh.

"where are we going? i have so much studying to do."

"we are going back to my place, where you can study...after I fuck you silly. you'll have to relearn everything, yale will be astounded to receive your application."

sunwoo drags you towards the door as you groan out a laugh at his vulgar words. you can't help but to shake your head even as you try to keep up with his long strides.

You enjoyed your job immensely. Helping people had always been something that was extremely important to you, and you were lucky enough to be able to do what you were passionate about. You finished medical school 3 years ago and now you were employed at your local VA Hospital part time, your other half being on base with your husband, Bradley. You had been high school sweethearts and you were still going on like it was your honeymoon.

You were overjoyed when you learned you were going to be able to help soldiers from all branches from all over the country. You helped veteran soldiers with rehabilitation mostly. Post war injuries that needed extra help and attention when they were able to come back home. 

Bradley and his squadron were all in the Navy. Fanboy and Halo had done 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan while Bradley had done 2 recently. Hangman was almost killed in combat 4 days before he was due to come home from his last deployment. The others had thankfully come home in one piece, only minor scrapes and injuries from their time overseas. Bradley hadn’t been as lucky. 

Bradley had been shot once in the chest inches away from his heart, and shrapnel had sliced through his face, neck, and arm. He was lucky to be alive but thankfully the doctors he had were good at what they do. They were able to save his life but not without complications. He had severe nerve damage through his left shoulder and bicep and his collarbone had been shattered and completely reconstructed. When he was sent home, he started showing up to the hospital you worked at for his physical therapy, often riding home with you at the end of the day.

You had just finished with a patient when you were heading to your office, passing by the nurses’ station on your way. You dropped the patient’s chart off at the desk but before you could start heading in the direction you desired, your charge nurse, Rebecca, stopped you with a gentle hand on your shoulder.

“You have a visitor.”

“A visitor?”

“If you don’t want him, I’ll take him.”

She just shrugged her shoulders noncommittally with a smirk, walking away from you to continue your filing.  Looking at your basket you noticed you had no patients waiting and walked to your office wondering who could be waiting for you.

As soon as you walked into your office your face broke out in a large smile. You knew it was your husband without a doubt. His 6’1” frame standing in front of your large window overlooking the city, broad shoulders, long legs, tight little ass, and hair with perfect curls for pulling.

“Well, this is a pleasant surprise.” You smiled while shutting your door, taking off your lab jacket and throwing it over the back of one of the chairs in your office. He turned around quickly and smiled at you, holding his arms open wide for you to walk into, bringing you into a warm and tight embrace.

“Yeah, I had my last appointment today and thought I’d come up and see you.”

“How’d it go?”

“Good. Almost as good as before.”

“That’s awesome, honey.”

“You don’t have any patients do you?”

“No, I think my next appointment is in another 45 minutes, why?”

With a mischievous look and a flick of the lock on your door, Bradley looks towards your desk and says, “Hey Alexa! Play my baby maker playlist.” You couldn’t help but laugh, burying your face in his chest as “I’ll Make Love to You,” starts to echo in your office.  

“Haven’t heard this song since the night before my last deployment...you remember that night?” He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at you.

“Of course, I do! But Roo, we can’t do that here!”

“We can. I locked the door. C’mon baby, I thought we could celebrate a little early.” He could see the slight crack in your resolve and pounced on the seconds of vulnerability, the pride. “Besides, Rebecca is probably listening right outside the door right now anyway.:

Bradley wrapped one hand into your hair, gently pulling your head back, tracing his nose up your cheek. Pulling back slightly he hovers his lips over your own, a little quirk to his lips when he pulls millimeters away when you try and connect. Once, twice more before he lets out a breathy chuckle at your frustration, finally crashing his plush lips to yours in a passionate kiss. His other hand pushing into your lower back and pulling you flush against him, swaying to the harmony of the song. When he pulled away you were both breathless and dizzy. Desire had pooled in your core, and you could feel an impressive bulge digging into your stomach. “You gonna let me love you like it’s that night all over again? Right here, right now?”

He didn’t give you any time to respond before he crashed his lips back onto yours once again. This time the kiss was all tongue and teeth. He loved to bite on your lower lip when you kissed, and it always managed to send shivers down your spine. As soon as you let out a moan, he knew he had you right where he wanted you and he smiled against your mouth. He quickly picked you up, digging his hands underneath your ass cheeks and plopped you unceremoniously on top of your desk, pushing everything out of his way to give you enough room to lie down. Your movements were frantic, knowing time was limited, ironically the same as the night before he left.

Bradley was usually a rough lover, but he always managed to make you feel loved and protected, no matter what you were doing, and the sex was no different. His touch held a tenderness; a reaffirming touch that he would always be there to care for you.

You quickly pulled his shirt off of his broad shoulders and pulled it up over his head to reveal his chiseled chest and abs. Reaching up you pulled Bradley down toward you, kissing over his scars from the old wounds, shrapnel, and surgeries. This was something you always did, letting him know you were thankful he was alive and in your arms. The reminder that he was still beautiful in your eyes.

You let out an obscene moan making him pull back from you and stand up as straight as he could while leaning over your desk for support. “You gotta be quiet, baby.” He practically ripped your scrub pants and panties off of you in one quick pull, your shoes flying off along with them from the force of his tug. He placed your feet wide along the edge of your desk, opening yourself up to him. “Fuck Y/N…you’re already soaking wet.”

What they said about the fic: truly one of the most wholesome txt fic i’ve read on this platform. i love how tokyo becomes the backdrop of mc and beomgyu’s growing relationship as i have a distinct memory of the city itself. the little things scenes of them eating, visiting places, and others culminate into this adventure i’m getting a glimpse into as they have their own backstories. a feel-good slice of life with characters that feel more rounded and alive than the ones i have read recently

summary: when jacob notices that you’ve been listening to your sad playlist while at work, he worries and does his best to give you comfort. // word count: 1473 words

To be honest, you weren’t even sure when you started to cry. All you knew was that you needed to cry and per usual whenever you were in this mood, you had started to play your sad playlist.

Putting on your headphones and lying in bed to soak in the feels. Letting the melody and lyrics bleed into your heart & mind. Allowing yourself to experience whatever it was you were feeling.

With the blankets being pulled up to your chest, you found yourself crying into it. You wished that there was some known reason why you were feeling this way. Lately life has been alright and nothing was stressful. However, the need for an answer is not always needed.

The bed felt like it was swallowing you whole so you got up. Laying against the bed frame and listening to the music. Only then do the tears end up painting your face. It felt so nice to cry it out but it also hurt.

Not even bothered to try to dry your face in case someone saw you like this. Besides, the only person who might see you was your boyfriend. And last time you checked, he would be coming home late so it was fine. Little did you know, he was worrying about you.

It seems like you had forgotten that he can see your Spotify, therefore can see what you’re listening to. The Boyz were practicing for their next comeback but in between, they’d take breaks. They were using Jacob’s laptop since they had the tracks and everything. During one of the breaks, he went to choose the next song since it was his turn to choose.

Right before he selects a track, his eyes slide over to the friend’s activity section on Spotify. When his eyes scan for your name and see what you’re listening to, they subtly widen. He wanted to send a quick text but couldn’t as he heard the members asking him to pick a song.

Telling himself that he’d text you soon but it slipped his mind. More like his mind ended up getting stuck between trying to focus on getting the new choreography right and worrying about how you were feeling.

It had gotten to the point where the other members started to pick up that Jacob’s head clearly wasn’t 100% here. Asking him what was wrong or if he needed a break. He had waved them off and reassured them that he was fine. However, Kevin knew he was lying… actually everyone did but they weren’t going to push Jacob because they knew it might not go anywhere.

Nonetheless, Kevin had wanted to help Jacob if he could. So he caught Jacob during a break to ask him again. And surprisingly Jacob was straight forward about it.

He didn’t want to hide anymore and felt the need to tell someone, but at the same time he didn’t want to just tell everyone. He felt scared that it would end up distracting everyone and ruining the vibe for tonight. Plus they were only getting closer and closer to the comeback music video shooting. So they really needed to get this choreography down and nail it when they film.

After Jacob lets Kevin know about what’s on his mind, Kevin does his best to comfort Jacob that it’s valid for him to worry and if he really is concerned, the members will understand if he leaves early. The members all love you, maybe even more than Jacob (whatttt? Who said that?), and care for you. More than anything, they value your relationship and happiness. A quick hug and Jacob is left again to his thoughts.

He knows what Kevin says is true but would it really be okay for him to just take off like that? Pondering and walking in circles. Anyone could see that Jacob was clearly thinking hard about something. Thinking so much he didn’t even hear Sangyeon call him over.

As he snaps out of it, Jacob confesses what’s been going on tonight to Sangyeon. Kevin’s words ring true as Sangyeon quite literally tells him the same thing. “Jacob, you know we care about you two. We would hate to make you feel like you have to be here to practice instead of being with y/n. Besides, you've been doing really well with this new choreography. Just go. Go to y/n and let them know we care about them too.” Sangyeon assures him and pats Jacob’s back.

Jacob can’t help but let out a sigh of relief and give Sangyeon a quick hug before bolting out of the company building to your apartment. He hopes that he’s not too late. Texting you that he’ll be there soon. To no avail, he doesn’t get a response on the way there. Jacob had also stopped by a convenience store to pick up your favorite snacks and his dinner.

Once he arrives, he’s dashing up the stairs and unlocking the door. When he steps foot inside the apartment, it’s super quiet. Calling out your name to see where you are, the only thing that answers him is silence.

Eventually he reaches the bedroom and that’s where he sees you. Your headphones are still in, your face is glistening due to the tears, and your back is up against the wall. Jacob does his best to get your attention so that he doesn’t startle you. Unfortunately, you seemed to have spaced out.

He ends up slowly but surely scooting on the bed next to you. Replacing the blanket with his arms wrapping around you. Using his hands to wipe away your tears and moving your hair out of your face. The feeling of his hands on yours is the moment you realize he’s home.

For a few good minutes, he’s just holding you and not saying anything. Conversely you're holding onto him and not saying anything either. His heartbeat is beating quite quickly and you wonder if it’s because of you.

Jacob removed one headphone from your ear and put it in his. “My darling, are you feeling okay? I know it sounds like a stupid question and everything but I got really worried when I saw you were listening to this playlist.” He’s now facing you and uses his fingers to lift your face towards him.

“I… I don’t know to be honest. I don’t know why I’m even crying or feeling this way. I just do and it sucks. Also shouldn’t you be at practice?” Your eyebrows furrow when you realize that he was indeed supposed to be at practice. But then he softens as he glides his finger against your eyebrows.

“Don’t furrow your eyebrow, darling. You’ll get more wrinkles that way. To answer your question, yes but it’s okay. I talked about it to the members before I left. By the way, they wanted to relay the message that they care about you too.” Before he continues, his hands find his way to yours. Intertwining them before giving your hand a kiss.

“I just wanted to let you know, my precious darling, that it’s completely okay to not know why. Not all questions have answers. I just hope you know that I love you. We can stay here and cuddle as long as you want.” Your eyes look up at his face. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. Another truth that rings true because Jacob’s eyes are soft and kind just like his soul (and heart).

You don’t say too much but you snuggle in closer into his body. Letting him know that you’ll take him up on his offer. Whispering a soft “thank you” and pausing your music. In due time, you end up switching your playlist to a more lighthearted one. Fitting for the moment you’re in with your one and only (Jacob) bae.

Just as you two are about to doze off, his stomach lets out a roar and wakes y’all up. You can’t help but laugh at the way the moment is now declared over. “Cobie, I’m feeling better and you are hungry. Let’s go eat something delicious!” Planting a kiss on his forehead and getting out of bed to cook dinner.

You extend your hand to him expecting him to get up but instead he pulls you back into the bed. Snuggling into your neck to pepper you with kisses. The only reasonable reaction to this was to laugh. It tickled and you appreciated whenever he got like this with you.

It reminded you that while love may not be perfect, the love you guys have for each other comes pretty close to it. That and to cherish the moments we have together. There is truly no one else other than Jacob Bae who could give you better late night cuddles.

my biases are jacob, jichang, and sunwoo!! i would put eric there too but sometimes he fluctuates between bias and bias wrecker HWJSHSJSJ but i will say my official bias wreckers are juyeon and hyunjae

when did you first start stanning the boyz?

i actually knew and followed them way back in giddy up era but i only officially stanned them around 2022

what is your favorite era of the boyz?

i will personally always love giddy up era imo :’)) it’s how i first knew them so whenever i see them now, i do get emotional. another fave one though is roar era imo despite the genuine Struggles we faced as a fandom

what the boyz song are you currently obsessed with?

i still think i’m obsessed with giddy up to this day, water, and she’s the boss ❤️‍🩹 i will love and die for those tracks i kid u not!

personally, i like writing angst and slice of life! i feel like i’ve grown accustomed to it and enjoy it but i do get more interactions with my more fluffier and suggestive ones

i think people should check “finger trapped (ripped to its seams),” “familiarity (it’s all sticky),” and “safe haven (how much longer do have)” !!! while they are all very angsty and hurt/comfort, i hope people come to read my proudest works!!
