From clinging onto your waist if not constantly when you guys are alone, to following you around everywhere you go and holding onto your hand as if he were some body guard, being nosy and peeping himself into your business ( example: phone call ), intrusive staring towards you, sniffing them without context or warning at all, invading personal space ( he has no sense of it ), constant and constant communication, overwhelming relentless and continuous affection, regular rambling and blabbering about how much he loves you and that he would literally do anything for you ( committing crimes such as robbery, credit card fraud, murder, arson, etc etc THE LIST GOES ONNNNN ), no he will not stop any of his suffocating and overwhelming actions until you probably like communicate out your boundaries with him. He grew up with a horrible childhood, he’s not really socially aware of how creepy he can be when he starts to date somebody. It’s very obvious that he’s got an emotional attachment to you.

He’s paying for you, one way or another and he loves you and doesn’t want you to pay for yourself when you’ve got him. It’s a fifty / fifty relationship, he buys you stuff and other needs for you, and you just let him do that for you.

how wanted do you think every criminal is in every country? like are the Stabbingtons only wanted in corona? how many nations has Stalyan pissed off?? where was Lance in jail??? etc
I will say I doubt Corona is the only place with the death penalty, but they are probably the place that uses it the most often. I wonder if Eugene is just wanted to be jailed or sent to the mines in most countries or if most want him dead
Sorry it's taken me a little time to answer this. I wanted to give it a little thought, plus I was pretty busy since I got it, plus there are a lot of criminals in Tangled the Series...
First, I think that anyone who's worked for/with the Baron is wanted in more than one place. So Eugene, Lance, the Stabbington Brothers, Stalyan, the Weasel, and all the minions we see. Not necessarily "every country," because there are a lot of countries in the world. We only see ~3000 miles worth of the world, and only in a narrow line. we don't even see all the kingdoms that are part of the Seven Kingdoms. In addition, most of the places we see are in the middle of nowhere.
But as mentioned before, we know Eugene made it to Italy and spent some time there. Also, according to the series, the crown heist was on behalf of the Baron. (Personally, I feel like that contradicts the story they loosely laid out about Eugene's past, but we also know that "the Baron's prized stallion" wasn't always supposed to be about his daughter, so they clearly didn't have that entire story laid out that far in advance. Also, it doesn't directly contradict it, it just makes it seem like Eugene kept doing things for the Baron, unscathed, long after they supposedly parted ways.)
But those aren't the only criminals we see. There's also Lady Caine and her thugs. They seem to be based almost entirely in Corona, since she has a specific vendetta against it and Frederic. However, I would be the most comfortable saying that she's hit kingdoms outside of Corona. On top of that Andrew and the other Separatists of Sapporia seem to be focused entirely on Corona, and spend their time outside of it being generally good -- if utterly insufferable -- people. But Dale (the fake Giovanni) is probably an international art thief, so he's wanted it more than one country.
The Daylight Thieves (the people Kiera thought were her parents) seem to be extremely local criminals. Virtuous St. Goodberry (the guy they had to get the Eye of Pincosta back from) was clearly not on the up-and-up, though it's hard to guess how far-reaching his influence is. He pretends to be innocent, between his name and his "legitimate" business, but I don't buy it. After all, he buys stolen goods. His establishment is mobile, all the easier to make a quick escape in the dead of night, if you get me. Seraphina is a thief who isn't wanted anywhere but whatever sea kingdoms exist, since she's a mermaid.
Varian and Cassandra -- technically both criminals -- are only ever wanted in Corona. The Pub Thugs are likely wanted outside of Corona, but I don't see them as being particularly far-wandering (except Hook Hand, Hook Foot, and Shorty, who were all reformed before they wandered).
Also, how loosely are we defining "criminal"? Because so so so so many characters in Tangled commit crimes, whether they're ever accused/convicted or not, including Rapunzel. Hector and Edmund commit aggravated assault. Do Zhan Tiri and her disciples count as criminals?
I don't think Corona is the only place with the death penalty, too, but I doubt they use it the most. Vardaros is far more openly brutal than Corona, and executing people would keep the citizens under the Baron's thumb. The Griffon of Pittsford and King Trevor seem exactly the sort to scream, "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" Not to mention, the mines of Pincosta were a death sentence, too. It was just worked to death instead of quickly executed. Ingvaar comes across as extremely no-nonsense, if not outright brutal. The fact of the matter is, as of 2025, there are still four countries that retain the death penalty, including the United States, so it's not even like the death penalty is an archaic form of punishment. So probably all the kingdoms/countries we're aware of in Tangled use it.

There are a lot of parts of GTA 5 where the creators display storytelling capabilities that one wouldn't expect from a game like this, but I think the scene where Franklin goes to Michael's house after Ending A is one of the most memorable. It's not particularly flashy, it’s not even a cutscene, but the feeling it creates in the player is unpleasant on several different levels.
Because it's tragic to see the main character and his mentor fall out over a choice you, the player, made, but it's also… cringe inducing, upsetting in a way I couldn't identify at first glance. And not necessarily on Trevor's behalf! You don't have to like him or regret killing him to squirm during that scene.
Even when you measure Michael against the twisted, honor-among-thieves system of morality favored by Trevor and his ilk - people who are so entrenched in their lifestyle that they can't imagine rehabilitation, and compensate by trying to inject some morality into the amoral criminal underworld - he doesn't emerge as some gloating, greedy backstabber à la Benny in the deleted content for FNV. He's not really a coward, and he's certainly not a monster. The game never gives any indication that Michael is lying when he says that he was worried about his young family, that he never meant for Trevor to find out about Brad's death the way he did, that Ludendorff was a difficult decision to make, but he ultimately had altruistic reasons for making it.
The first thing Michael does after the heist goes wrong is tell Trevor to run away; a choice he makes on impulse, but still out of good will. By the time he starts actively concealing the truth about Brad, the FIB have already been exchanging heartfelt messages with Trevor as his dead friend for a solid decade, rendering the time bomb effect of the whole lie that much more foreboding when it was already a likelihood that Trevor would do something atrocious if he found out.
Much of the horror surrounding Trevor's crimes is fridge horror, where what happens is implied but never outright shown, leaving the player's imagination to fill in the gaps. For the first two thirds of the game, the prospect of what Trevor will do when the truth about Brad comes out maintains the same aura of gruesome, unseen violence as what he did to Debra, Leon, Wade's friends, and god knows how many others. You can't expect Trevor himself to be happy about it, but you also can't judge Michael for lying to him. Who wouldn't lie to him. You wouldn't want to end up in the stew.
But by the time you get to Michael killing Trevor, all that grandiose reasoning has collapsed in on itself. The FIB just openly crumbled into gangland style infighting, they're not a coherent threat. If Trevor was still sore about Brad, he could've done something already - something like not going out of his way to save Michael from the government agency he ends up killing him on behalf of, an act which renders Michael's willingness to take him out particularly ironic and shameful.
The only reason Michael is alive to kill Trevor for the FIB is because earlier, Trevor stopped the FIB from killing Michael! Trevor's desire to protect his loved ones, one of his only redeeming qualities, is retroactively transformed into humiliating self-sabotage! And Michael goes through with the most overtly cruel & unusual murder we ever see him commit for the sake of corrupt, incompetent bureaucrats who strung him along and tried to kill him. People who he knows aren't worth working for, if you aren't spineless and paranoid. The whole situation is laughable.
From there, after Trevor is dead, it's no wonder Michael leans into the barebones, social-darwinist cynicism of it all. He's already forsaken what is right for what is easy in the most miserably inglorious way possible; what else is there to do but commit to the bit, just like he did when he first started lying about Brad?
So Michael just burned his oldest friend alive in front of his twenty five year old protege. He mocks him afterwards to mask his own obvious discomfort, and when Franklin reacts negatively, he tells him that he "doesn't understand," as if Frank isn't the one who presented him with this solution in the first place. Michael reminds Franklin of Trevor's nastier habits, as if the two of them haven't been actively utilizing his brutality to give themselves a leg up this whole time, rendering them directly complicit. And he spins a whole yarn about survival and the willingness to make unpleasant choices, promises (in so many words) that he'll stay in Franklin's life, then reinforces it later.
Because Michael was the one who put a gun to Franklin's head and got him involved in all of this at the beginning, all the while padding out their professional relationship with a paternalistic attitude that was reinforced by Michael's disappointment with his biological son and the absence of Franklin's biological father. Whether the two of them were codependent or w/e is anyone's guess, but their relationship certainly wasn't balanced.
And after you've slogged through all of this ugliness, after Michael's done all this talking and made these broad sweeping statements, the man just... pussies out. He stops taking Franklin's calls without explanation. He takes the easy way out again. You have to go find him to ask what's up, and when you do, you don't get a big cinematic cutscene: you get bitched at by an old man with a three day beard in his driveway, an experience which feels like being gaslit, even if that isn't necessarily what Mike's trying to do. The sequence is defined by this blunt sense of anticlimax and disappointment, like you should've seen this coming but didn't, and are now left to feel stupid for it.
There are so many things Michael's doing here. He's dodging responsibility for killing Trevor in an especially brutal way, yeah, but he's doing so by shifting the blame onto Franklin of all people. Franklin who handled that situation with infinitely more decency than he did, despite not knowing Trevor half as well - despite being two decades younger than both of them and a surrogate son figure. Michael pulled the trigger, he ranted and raved about how Trevor deserved it, he told us we did the right thing when we could've just as easily killed his stupid ass, and now he's pissy about it. He's wearing black. He's saying with complete sincerity that you need to shoulder the guilt of what he did for him. Burning a man alive. To a twenty five year old.
And we, the audience, know that this whole series of events started with a decision we made through Franklin. Extratextually, we did choose to kill Trevor. So the immediate response is to say that the scene is sad, for the reason that the narrative presents you with directly - that being that Michael is right, that Frank did do something wrong, and he should be allowed to hate him for it. But when you think about it within the universe itself, it becomes this awful new moral low for Michael. One character emerges looking freshly terrible, and it's him.
And it's not just a random act of cruelty; it's a bad end to the arc Michael had been in for the entire game, as a father, a partner, and a man. Trevor was right in a way that he never would've wanted to be right. It takes his death to fully actualize Michael as the kind of person Trevor spent the entire narrative accusing him of being already: a liar and a coward.
And the moment where that becomes clear is... infinitely crueler and harder to watch than it would’ve been if Michael had never cared to begin with. Imo.

Spending time in the very depths of the Belmont Keep while trying to find a way to locate his father’s castle still felt surreal. It was really happening. Alucard would kill his father. No matter how hard he tried to convince himself that this was the only way, he could not help but feel regret and shame. And guilt. Dracula was his father. He had loved his wife dearly and wasn’t the whole genocide happening out of one reason alone? Love? The humans had committed a crime, they had killed Lisa without proper reason, they had refused to listen to her pleas. They had killed her and therefore, did they not force his father’s hand? Alucard remembered his own devastation, his helplessness, the desire to take revenge upon those that had destroyed his family, but he also remembered his mother begging when she burned, she had asked Dracula to show mercy to those cruel fools. It was his mother’s wish to not have her family stain themselves with the real sinner’s blood, and Alucard would honor her wish, because this wish of hers was all he had left of her.
The Țepeș family. Tragedies, all of them. Alucard assumed the only good thing was that he would not be alone in his endeavor. It was as the prophecy had said. He would be joined by a hunter and a scholar, and the two of them were more than he had ever expected. Sypha. Smart, sharp-tongued, with a fiery temperament. Trevor. Head-strong, skilled.. and cocky. And way too handsome.
Love. Alucard had been raised with love and he had been taught that love was the strongest motivator in the world. It could make one strong enough to be merciful, but it could also make one powerful enough to want to destroy the whole world. And here pitiful Alucard was, slowly but surely falling for a man that was enemy to his whole species, a man that probably thought of him to be more like his monstrous father than a loving person like his mother had been. Sometimes Alucard was not sure what he would prefer to be, having both a vampiric and a human half made him feel like a stranger to both worlds.
Why was it that out of all people he had to feel attracted to a Belmont? Filthy, stinky, rude Trevor Belmont.. Alucard had to suppress a wince; too busy with his own thoughts he had not heard said Belmont approach, despite the man usually stomping around like a man that had no care if he was discovered by enemies or not. But it was the question that made his heart ache.
“ just… be honest with me, do you hate me? “ @inmemcrum
Was that what Belmont really thought about him? That Alucard hated him? If he did, would he not have torn out his throat on several occasions already? To be fair, Alucard was constantly mocking and provoking him, but was it not to conceal the growing affection towards the other he harbored in the depths of his longing heart? The dhampir’s golden eyes met the bright blue eyes of the Belmont for only a brief second before he turned away, keeping his gaze locked on the countless vampire skulls on display, reminding himself that he could very well end up like one of them after his father had been defeated.
Adrian, do not fall for the hunter, Alucard reprimanded himself, forcing himself to look indifferent despite the painful ache in his chest as he replied:
“I won’t hate you as long as you keep being useful.” And as long as you don’t try to kill me.

it's alright honestly with ONC it could be anything,, but that's what i interpreted it as. also very small off topic rant (based on the 'mushroom muncher' thing) but why are people on this show allowed to commit different kinds of crimes without repercussions. i hate yul as much as the next normal in the head guy, but he's literally been assaulted twice like james & grett should gen get some prison time for that. why do trevor & derek go to prison for killing animals but assault is totally fine
iiiii will have to think about it. i'm genuinely so excited for DCAS to end because i cannot take much more of it, but i may keep up the posting on the blog (as long as i get asks). i do enjoy interacting with the community through this, i'm glad to know i'm not alone in thinking DSVC is super inconsistent and overall just bad. but i also do think it's nottt very healthy for me to be this upset over it. so i'll just have to figure out a balance with it. i'll see :)

Name: Angleman First Appearance: Wonder Woman 62 (1953) Creators: Robert Kanigher and H.G Peter Abilities: Criminal mastermind with a vast criminal network at his disposal. Master thief. Possess ‘the Angler’ which allows him to bend time and space to his will.
Backstory: Wonder Womans most frequent of nemesis in the silver age and seemingly favorite Wonder villain of Robert Kanigher.
Angle man was a criminal kingpin who held sway over a vast sum of the criminal underworlds organized crime and was well known for being ‘the man who knew every angle’ A criminal mastermind infamous for creating master plans for his crimes and looking at every possible variable and creating contingency plans for any eventuality.
When Wonder Woman began involving herself in stopping bank robberies and foiling criminal endeavors which his lackeys committed as he ordered, Angleman began by first formulating work arounds to try and continue operating despite Wonder Womans efforts.
Things such as always using a middle man not directly tied to his organization to hand out orders so the magic lasso could not be used to discover him or his plans. Coordinating three or more robberies at the same time so that Wonder Woman would be unable to stop all of them, ensuring there was a profit to be made. Outfitting gangsters working for him with thematic weapons in order to give them a chance against Wonder Woman.
However even with these efforts, Wonder Woman was still dealing terrible blows to Angle Mans criminal fortunes and taking down hundreds of his criminal henchmen. Thus he began plotting various ways of defeating Wonder Woman once and for all.
He tried uncovering her secret identity. Taking advantage of her weaknesses. Attempted to claim/destroy/disable her resources such as the magic lasso and the invisible plane. Hired superpowered criminals both to try ending Wonder Womans life, and tarnishing her reputation with mesmerism. He has commisioned robot Wonder Women. Paid for deadly weapons and experimental technologies all bent towards the singular purpose of ending Wonder Womans life. He even attempted to aid Steve Trevor in marrying Wonder Woman in the hopes that Diana would immediately choose to retire.
Every plan would fail time and time again and as the years passed, Angle Man went from young and babyfaced to greying and wrinkled in his efforts. Caught and arrested time and time again, seemingly going in and out of prison like it was a revolving door.
Things would finally come to an end when years of effort trying to take on Wonder Woman led to his criminal empire falling apart. All of his minions behind bars. His vast wealth evaporated. His reputation among criminals reduced to a joke.
At his lowest point, Angle Man would be gifted ‘The Angler’ an all powerful artifact which allows its wielder to bend time and space to ones will. Along with an invitation to join the Secret Society of Supervillains.
Taking the offer, Angle Man would go from suit wearing kingpin to costumed supervillain. Working for Funky Flashman (who I know nothing about so ill just assume hes a less talked about member of the Flash family) Angle Man would aid them in their villainy while on the side, attempting to get his revenge on Wonder Woman for destroying his criminal enterprise.
However even with the Angler being further empowered by Ares, allowing Angle man to travel the multiverse, time travel, create pocket dimensions, bend reality to his will, freely teleport himself and any items he wishes wherever he wanted… Angle Man utterly failed at every turn to defeat Wonder Woman. This iteration of Angle Man doomed to never succeed in his goals.
In the post crisis era, Angle Man would make a return as ‘Angelo Bend’ a suave debonair man of class and intrigue who operated purely as a thief for hire with no greater criminal ambitions than to make some money and steal a few hearts along the way. His version of the Angler being no less powerful than it had been previously, how he obtained it would remain a mystery.

ngl I think one of the biggest insults the nfcv team did is call their design team "Belmont family designs". like. how dare. how dare you associate the Belmonts with this trash heap. I get that they don't respect the Belmonts worth a damn but putting their name all on those design abominations? too far
(this is partially facetious, they have absolutely committed worse crimes against the series, I just have to complain about that one because it feels...arrogant and disingenuous. we have no respect for the source material but we'll still name ourselves after it)
Lmao. It's like still putting the Trephacard trio at the front and center of the promotional posters when the three do exactly jack and shit for the majority of the story. Be honest, please, we know you don't care.

(the real crime is hiring a dude named Trevor Morris to compose for the Castlevania show and then making him create the most generic movie-like soundtrack. c'mon. Trevor Morris. He was born to compose for CV. He should have been Yamane-san's successor.)

oooh ty for this opportunity to ramble under the cut (and now taking the opportunity to promo: read my lil one-shot! it won't hurt your feelings! one of us lies and one of us tells the truth!)
the thing about trevor that i love to explore is how he's kind of casually selfish. i mean this in a neutral way - but i think he is, and it's one of my favorite things to think about in the context of him and jamie, because trevor has a Big Personality tm, and jamie is notably more self-effacing/go with the flow (though not entirely! i think he can be stubborn too. he's just less likely to insist on his own way about everything the way trevor might)
and in this fic i particularly wanted to explore the idea of like: trevor isn't as stupid as he seems. maybe he knows jamie has (had?) feelings for him and never said anything, but it’s like, a piece of information that he has. and he loves jamie as a friend. maybe could as something more, but that would require a lot more self-discovery than he's done at this point. but also he knows jamie will go along with almost anything trevor wants, and like, trevor is just selfish enough to take advantage of that when he's messed up about his relationship to his career and where he is and where he'll be. and to another point - jamie is one of his closest friends. they have Something. soon, that Something is going away, and trevor is not handling that thought with grace.
so there's a lot of stuff going on in there: trevor wanting to be distracted, and sex is as good as anything else. trevor knowing that jamie can be persuaded to provide said distraction (again - selfish). trevor knowing that their relationship is something big, something that could tip into more, and also knowing that he’s going to lose aspects of it soon - as soon as he’s gone, they won't be as close as they are now. trevor being a little bit - well, everything is already going to change. maybe i might as well ask for this. maybe i might as well go for it. the worst is already going to happen.
and then! surprise! sex makes it worse :) maybe in eight to ten business years they can wind up on the same team and do the long slow slog of rebuilding some kind of connection and eventually falling in love again.

it is 5 in the morning i haven’t slept and i have lots of things to say about the gta v endings!!!
obviously i played all three, and here’s the thing: A and B are fake. that’s not controversial, i’m pretty sure its accepted fact that the devs treat C as the “real” “canon” ending.
but with that being so obvious, what’s the point of including the other endings at all? they’re shockingly short, like the same length as franklin’s misc assassination missions for lester throughout the game, and shockingly devoid of that kind of closure you’re expecting from a story with this many moving parts. franklin kills either trevor or michael, and the antagonists of the game just… give up? like mike and trev were some sort of all-encompassing hot and cold weather system, and all it took was the removal of one of them to prevent a federal agency and private militia and organized crime-sized tornado. silly, deceptively easy, and leaving a bad taste in your mouth.
but— my hot take is that A and B aren’t necessarily “fake”. as in, not meaningless or trivial by any means. i think that something is lost in not playing A and B before C, in fact.
because this game is about franklin clinton. it’s also about michael and trevor, sure, but only in the context of franklin becoming entangled in their lives. franklin isn’t necessarily a “blank state” at the beginning, but he is written with as minimal bias as possible in order to serve as the stand-in for the player as they navigate the story. he serves as the middle ground between the two opposing forces of michael and trevor, but looking past that, he is also at a crossroads in his life. frankin wants to become something else, be “somebody”, but isn’t sure what that means yet.
to that end, franklin never says no. he is open to helping every stranger, killing any target, volunteering for every job, jumping off any building as long as someone offers an opportunity for clarity, prosperity, or self-fulfillment at the end of the trip. franklin goes along with michael’s mid-life crisis and becomes his protege because he is searching for purpose and a clearer picture of himself. he buries his reservations about trevor, the feds, weston, etc, because he is taught by michael that they can be useful in obtaining what he wants. and when he gets it, the thing he thought he needed, the thing that michael told him would save his life, he is still stuck. he lives in an empty mansion, having lost his connection with anyone he ever loved from his previous life. nothing has gotten better.
if you play ending A or B, franklin moves like an automaton through the final mission, offering short condolences or platitudes to his victims while remaining otherwise numb about what he is doing. it’s second nature to him now. michael, and by extension trevor, has honed him into a vessel for greed and carnage and betrayal, a shell of who he once was. during michael’s killing, he will admit to being used and manipulated by him, but it won’t fix anything now. it won’t make him better. endings A and B take away franklin’s soul and leave him with only vague copies of the men he followed after.
the deception of A and B, of course, comes in assuming that in franklin’s crossroads scenario, he only had two possible paths in front of him. which makes ending C, on the other hand, feel like a warm hug.
franklin rejects the paradigm he has been forced into. he regains his agency. he rejects his tutelage and goes by instinct, an instinct that leads him to— for the first time in the game i believe— ask lamar for a favor. lamar gladly accepts, because he isn’t just a bumbling wannabe who leeches off of his friend’s good will! he’s franklin’s friend, and his generosity reminds franklin of what being a genuine human is like. no paranoia, no lies, no backstabbing, just love. and it turns out, that’s who franklin really is after all!! full of love, and drive, and assertiveness, and commitment to those he cares about.
and of course it rubs off on the old guys, who are counseled away from having each other at gunpoint in a matter of minutes. in ending C, franklin teaches trevor and michael how to survive— and not just survive— how to live. how to stop walking down that horrible road to loneliness and inhumanity, how to trust others and utilize your talents for the vaguest semblance gta has of “the greater good”. the gang gets back together, the bad guys are picked off one by one, and the protagonists walk off into the sunset, having learned and grown in the process. it’s sappy! a hollywood ending covered in sugar.
and that’s why A and B are important to play first in my book. ending C is the payoff for having to first do and witness the thing that will ruin franklin’s life, irreparably, forever. the thing that will take away the rest of who he really is. C without A or B is just a schlocky 80s movie, but all three endings together create a cautionary tale for our little guy to struggle through, and eventually come out the other side truly prosperous, having finally found a way to be happy.

So, Gabriel's deal is that he feels that he has committed too many crimes and he can't go back, right? That it's too late for him and he's doomed to be the Prince of Darkness, right? He even sounds remorseful when he says that he's immortal, as if he'd really like to die by that point.
Do you think Hector could try to talk to him? I think (admittedly it depends on where from the timeline he comes lol) that he would try to convince Gabriel that it's never too late. Yes, the sins he has committed will grave on him for the rest of his life, but even after being swallowed by the darkness, you can always attempt to save yourself and become the person you want to be.
Whether Gabriel will listen to him or not, I think it would make for an interesting conversation :)

Oh God yes! Poor Gabriel. Hector might try to talk with him like, pre-Trevorcard, if he gets to Dracul first. Like, of course Dracul is tough for Hector, not just physically, but like, mentally. Mostly because Dracul was the mask that Gabriel was wearing and that he used to defend himself from the harshness of the Brotherhood and the world calling him the Prince of Darkness. However, Gabriel is desperate for some kind of positive interaction, hence why the Castle was able to manipulate him so well. So if a human was to come up to him and tell him that he is not a lost cause, it would take him a while, but I think he could do it!
However, if it's post-Trevorcard, Hector would try to convince him not to attack the village. Oh, what if Dracul sends Hector to the village to see if Trevor had any surviving family, and from there he helps Sypha and Simon. Maybe Simon would look up to Hector. Maybe Hector would bring Simon and Sypha up to Dracul. Would that lead to Sypha and Simon being allowed to live in the castle? When Trevorcard is to awaken as a Vampire, imagine his shock at seeing his now 50-60 year old wife and the son who was like 7 years old when he left is now 37 and works with Dracul. Imagine the horror Trevorcard. Oh imagine old Hector, still helping Sypha. Maybe Selena comes in around this time, and Trevorcard finds that he has grandchildren of his own now. Imagine how Dracul would react to all of this.
Imagine Gabriel finally finding a reason to live that isn't solely on revenge.

Jack wants to ask. What do you gain from it otherwise? This is a crazy thought jack but bear with me you could I don’t know ASK him???. 
Ferrari sending jack and carlos on different times during fp is funny because come in they ARE insane but will not crash onto each other during practice, I just realised that I probably don’t want them to be level on points heading to Abu Dhabi because my anxiety would NOT handle it; almost had a panic attack during the wcc when it was almost impossible to win it I don’t need to stress over a fic too, jack being mad with the team I like it and watch nico tattooing this moment because of how proud that jack is being cunty with someone other than him.
We arrived to the jack and luke conversation which is probably top two scenes in this chapter it was SO GOOD, there is always the unsettling feeling when you spend too much time travelling because you will stay in a hotel room; and I feel like that feeling is multiplied by a hundred for jack because of his whole not feeling he belongs anywhere and he misses Monaco simply because it’s HIS apartment maybe he doesn’t spend enough time for it to be considered a “home” but it still somewhere he feels at home, and him being with luke but still have a sense of longing to a home hurts because of the fight, like it’s his brother the closest to a childhood home he will get in a foreign country but because he feels like luke is expecting what the media wants from him so that belonging is taken from him, driving one-handed hottest thing a person could do, luke perhaps judging jack when he was the one who told him that the f2 guys were talking about him is a bit of a hypocrite move from him it looks like he was expecting a reaction and he didn’t get it so now he is judging him for it, luke giving jack weird looks because he mentions nico is funny but a bit annoying as jack would be overthinking about what he says so he doesn’t get judged; like what if he DOES watch his interviews it wouldn’t be the end of the world, “Maybe they’ll fire Checo,” perez taking the seat from a much deserved driver even in this fic I love the consistency, toro rosso my beloved name look what they have done to you im sorry, also I always had a difficult relationship with sister teams because it sometimes feels disadvantage especially when it used blantley-rb im specifically looking at you- but I do like them when they don’t throw a rookie in the main team and then drop them if they don’t preform; look as long as MY driver is the one who receives the advantages idc. 
ok I will say that them attacking jack when he says that they don’t understand what he is going through because it IS the truth neither of them have ever been leading an formula ONE championship like sure they understand the racing part of it because both have experience in that but what they are doing to jack every time he says they don’t understand what he is feeling at the moment it diminishes his feelings in a way; and look im probably overthinking it and they don’t mean it that way but kack has said multiple times that they don’t understand so them ignoring that and still pressing and pressuring hurts a bit for him and that must be why he even goes to nico in the first place because nico has no expectations about how he should act if he should mince his words if he should be this way or that way, “What, so I’m not allowed to call you out on anything?” There is a difference between calling someone out and telling them in an actually polite manner that this isn’t what you should be doing and if they continue to do it leave it you have done your part, “It’s for your own good, Jack,” oh my god the words I HATE the most I get to decide what id good for ME not you the most you can do is give me advice and then shut up; like genuinely nothing pisses me off more than being oh im diminishing you and pretending I didn’t hear you telling me to stop because I know what is best for you, luke throwing the words jack used the same tactics that the media uses ouch, “Neither of you have raced in F1, it’s different, I don’t care what either of you have to say about that, it’s—” THIS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY thank you for putting more eloquently, their whole argument breaks my heart btw, everyone around jack joking about how honest he is and how fun it’s but when he FINALLY tells them what he feels he is a bitch to them because he said something they didn’t like, How? How is it different? How am I supposed to know what any of you want from me? Am I a cunt or am I pathetic or am I honest or am I admirable or does your teammate want to fucking be like me or like Nico or are we the same or are we— what do you— which of us do you want to be like? Do you think I was easier to handle the way I was before? You do know that killing me would have hurt way less than reading this?, Jack apologies first why is he so me like im getting attached to him because I see myself in this but especially in that moment, you do deserve the biggest compliment for putting all of my thoughts in coherent terms, especially the no one get it except nico part, JACK GOING TO NICO’S ROOM AFTER THE FIGHT excuse me while I scream in my pillow, oh starting with a kiss okay get it jack!, okay what is it with nico and jack’s neck like yeah it’s a pretty one ngl but the obsession is funny, the way jack had just started telling him what happened like I will be patiently waiting for the Realisation that he loves him, “You could just not care. About all the opinions.” Nico leave jack’s neck for a second and tell me how to do this because live would be so much easier, the way jack says that he is not in control when the reality he has it and it was just proved when he said he wanted more pressure and nico provided it; if jack never said it he wouldn’t do it and if jack wanted to end their whole mess nico wouldn’t be able to actually stop him because then it would turn into assault rather than it be something they both enjoy.
shouldn’t have started the fighting scene snd this at 2 am because now im crying about how helpless jack feels about everything and nico is just there to help him take a breath and letting him talk about it without judgement, oh yeah im crying genuine tears the whole scene where nico is pressing jack to say he is in control hits me so hard, also jack not wanting to open his eyes but still doing it because nico asked is not helping the tears to stop, also the way nico is repeating himself it feels like he is desperate to let jack understands he is the one in control, “You’re supposed to get it,” what is it with you and letting them say stuff that hurts so fucking bad?, why the fuck am I crying over this scene I will be sending you my therapy bill so you can pay it, jack saying winning feels the same as being pinned to a door, nico you are in my prayers for staying strong with jack being like this in your arms, “You are not like anyone I have ever met before in my life.” Yeah nico tell me about how you have no idea what to do with jack because every time you try to understand him he surprises you with something else, nico apologising for overanalysing their Scenes because he feels like it’s a betrayal to jack who uses them as an escape kill me.

HELLO I AM BACK TO ANSWER SOME STUFF. i exploded and disappeared over finals week because finals week then i was kind of just being dead to the world for a while. i played a lot of the sims 4. very important stuff. but now i am here i tried writing a race scene on my phone in bed last night and i hated it the whole time Anyways i will actually speak to this ask now and not nonsense
there will be some endgame championship shenanigans. it wouldn't be a fanfiction about a title battle without shenanigans... and yippee imola! a wonderful race that absolutely got away from me one too many times. and jack is big time stupid. which i think we all knew. he probably threw that concealer away in monaco and hasn't found the braincells to replace it now that he's back in europe (maybe with something that sucks a little less) because that would involve thinking about it and he cbf. because Obviously the better option is to just roll up to a team meeting with visible bite marks -- carlos is the only one who outwardly acknowledges it but that's because he has no shame or fear. and i don't think it's the first time jack has Taken a picture but it's def the first time he's sent it to nico. if i remember correctly. again, big time stupid. maybe the social media peoples in charge of their accounts choose not to open their dms in the interest of privacy or something. they're busy
yeah sainz has Theories. probably. my ideas for his character are mostly a giant mess, everything is the most ridiculous work in progress of all time. it's fine
ferrari drivers agree that team orders is stupid and ferrari team agree that drivers is stupid. but only one side of that argument are the ones Actually driving the cars. so they win by default, even if outnumbered. jack will always apologize first because he thinks it will make the other party apologize back once they realize he acknowledges his own wrongdoing. it does not always work. and jack does not always mean it when he apologizes, it's just supposed to make things easier. yeah i give a stupid amount of thought to how jack refers to the other drivers, i know i've said it before but at all times how jack refers to carlos is a direct reflection of exactly how he feels about him in the moment. i think it shifts back to carlos from sainz in the middle of the meeting scene idk i only wrote the damn thing
petition for more fist fights in f1!!! the media (and most of the fans probably) could absolutely never handle it but i think it would be a good time. and the tifosi are such an interesting party to analyze, so i am glad i made jack a ferrari driver in this fic because it means i get to fuck around with it lol - there definitely are tifosi who support him without really caring that he's american, but there are others who really do care. whether they support him anyways (just with a grain of salt) or elect to hate him and root for carlos instead, or something. but in my head, even some of the tifosi who half-resent him know he's the team's best bet, because obviously, so they lean towards him, anyways. but they aren't jack fans, just ferrari fans: if he were to jump to another team (which he won't) they wouldn't follow him, they'd pick up with whoever came to take his seat. womp womp. i imagine jack has this idea in his head that he can somehow win over everybody ever even though that's impossible, but he sometimes tries to play to everybody instead of just being honest or whatever. if i remember correctly i've referenced this before? i think he says something in some scene at some race about how it's not his fans' opinion of him that matters, because he's already won them over, but the people who don't like him that he has to worry about. like he'll ever be able to change their minds

i also have a logan soft spot... it is very obvious in the whole entire everything about this fic... i got a comment on it a little while ago that literally only said "are you a logan sargeant fan" like thanks what gave me away. yes i did write logan/oscar fanfiction on a different account. what gives. Anyways. my soft spot for logan is largely what motivated making jack the only american on the grid (also The Narratives) even though that very greatly limited what nhl players i could haphazardly shove into f1 cars. that's partially why there's so many actual drivers left on the grid, and also partially because i just think it's funny. but any american nhler was automatically out of the running because it would ruin The Narratives. also why there are 19 billion canadians lmao
trevor podium. trodium. he's busy. maybe he stays on the nice list because he's far away and jack and they don't talk very often, but also i have no intentions of making trevor do any evil that gets jack mad at him or anything. he's there for vibes. a little self-indulgent window into the indycar world and also a guy jack can tell all his fucking-his-title-rival-related secrets. best friends forever
jack and nico public flirting incident number ninety-seven. they should both actually just keep their mouths shut for the rest of the season, i think that's the only way to prevent nonsense. i lowkey wrote the 'dick him down raw in miami' line as a joke but i was too amused by it when proofreading to remove it so there it is. still kicking despite it all
lex is so real i love writing her tweets (that's why she has so many of them oops) and jack is biggest idiot ever!! going for the gold like dumbassery is an olympic sport! which is why he will never ask nico anything ever except like. very guarded versions of the questions he Actually wants to ask. he can't reveal too much (see also: anything) about how he's feeling in his attempts to figure nico out, so he usually just ends up firing accusations at him rather than asking him anything real. they're such a mess but is that not the point
i'm so excited to write some of the end of the season scenes it's not even funny but like omg so many races before i get there... so many things to happen... but believe me i have some ideas. the end of the season arguably has more of an outline than anything else, which isn't really saying much because this fic barely has the idea of an outline. i just do whatever i want. i think up scenes and then i write them. Boom. hundred thousand words. that's how being a writer goes sometimes
yeah i made jack and luke fight by accident... i think i said that a little while ago but in vaguer terms. writers know how it is, shit writes itself without your input. they just started fighting. and i was like Oh okay we're doing this! and then we were doing it across two whole races. i'm glad you liked the scene! i like writing dialogue a lot (if you can't tell) and that scene was a lot of fun to do, even the parts that got away from me lol. luke arguably Is the closest thing to home jack has out in europe, and the same applies to luke with jack, which is part of why fighting each other is so like. Bad. and why quinn kind of inserts himself into the situation and tries to play mediator. he hates watching his brothers fight for selfish reasons, sure, but he also knows that both of them need each other in ways they would never properly admit to, so he tries to get them back on good terms before they get away from themselves. writing sibling relationships is so complicated (because sibling relationships just are complicated). obviously i have no idea what it's like to be a race car driver, but i do know what it's like to have a sibling, so. i like getting to put a little magnifying glass over those relationships. is fun
and luke is absolutely being an annoying little brother in this scene. he tells jack something then gets upset with him for having the exact reaction he was always going to have, then he gets mad at jack for being upset, et cetera, et cetera. maybe he was secretly hoping jack wouldn't react as predicted, and it was like some kind of test, and now he's upset that jack failed. who knows (me, arguably, but do i?). checo has to be around in this universe because i needed to give nico a teammate who was objectively worse than him - same with why i kept carlos in ferrari. i know i could've made either of their teammates Other nhl players but this is more fun for me. i wanted the fight to be unequivocally between jack and nico, fuck their damn teammates, so they're just like drivers who are Also There. it is what it is. and toro rosso was absolutely the best name for red bull's sister team!!! i know now they have stupid sponsors or whatever but toro rosso was cool. and less confusing than the shorthand 'RB' because that is arguably just also red bull. VCARB. whatever. i also miss love the blue and silver toro rosso liveries bring those back they were pretty
jack literally cannot go anywhere without getting attacked. everybody sucks. in their heads, they're looking out for him or giving him advice or whatever, but jack will always see it as an attack or them not believing in him somehow, and like jack says later in the chapter, he's the only one who gets to decide how other people make him feel, their intentions be damned. but the others (quinn and luke mostly, in this scenario) really do think they're coming from a good place, and don't properly understand why jack always gets so defensive whenever they try to talk to him, or why he's always insisting that it is different, and they don't understand, because they don't really know what else they're supposed to do. but jack doesn't want them to understand, he just wants them to acknowledge that they don't, and still be there for him anyways. blah blah blah character nonsense GOD i never know what i'm talking about. jack in this fic is one of the most complicated characters i've written in a long time tbh. i am having a great time. yes, nico has less of an expectation for how jack should be behaving, and also he actually gets it, because they're the two people who are actively fighting for that title right now. he's drawn to nico because he doesn't challenge him, and even if he also says things that jack doesn't believe to be true, they're different things. he still doesn't trust nico in all his own ways, but he's also drawn to him for a whole list of reasons he never really lets himself read into. and nico is. nico. Yup
luke is too little brother to figure out that difference. he is just going to Be Suck for a while. "it's for your own good" is absolutely some bullshit but luke Really believes that, and he's too dense and in his own head to understand why jack doesn't appreciate it. jack can never win!!! pathetic or honest or a cunt or admirable or none of the above, whatever he does someone is always against him, and whatever he does he always feels like everyone is against him. no winning. ever. off to nicotown because jack thinks nico is the only person in the entire history of ever who understands him, even though nico arguably does not understand him at all. he understands all those racing things that no one else can, but also. like. both jack and nico are kind of obsessed with figuring the other out in their own ways. obviously it shows more with jack because it's his pov, but they're both trying to get a read on each other. jack may interpret nico trying to get a read on him as some kind of strategy, those off-track games he always thought nico was playing, even though he knows that's not the case for him. it's the whole "you aren't like anyone else" thing. we aren't there yet are we. Whatever. each of them finds the other confusing and neither really knows how to handle that
nico has neck problems. also it's because i wrote this fic that's the simplest answer lmao arguably this entire plot could exist without the hickey nonsense but i do what i want. see, this is nico's version of "helpful advice," and it's arguably the same shit (why do you care so much when you don't have to, it doesn't matter, et cetera) but somehow it feels less awful coming from nico, maybe because he's less insistent about it. maybe because jack knows that nico does understand exactly how this feels, and yet he chooses to handle it all completely different to the way jack does. like some kind of proof that it really is possible not to care, even if jack still can't figure out how or why. unlike when luke does the same shit, because he doesn't get it, and jack doesn't trust that luke wouldn't care if he was in his position. et cetera. omg i'm rambling so bad
yeah jack absolutely has the control he just doesn't believe that. i could go on but that's all too spoilery
sometimes i write a line and then i just stare it for a moment like Jesu Christ and then it makes the final edit. and sometimes i forget all about the crazy shit i wrote and find it again when i'm proofreading and go Jesus Christ all over again lmao. there were a lot of those scenes in imola. i am having a great time, as the writer who has all the answers. Or. most of them. i think some of the answers are still yet to show themselves to me

If the Smosh cast were batman characters:
Ian is batman/bruce wayne (sad after the divorce/defy but is now super happy he's got his family around him)
Anthony is Selina Kyle (on again, off again with Bruce, but are now very stable and together)
Shayne is nightwing/dick greyson (favourite son, golden child, not tall. Also think it's highly funny to make Shayne who can't do the splits a gymnast)
Damien is redhood/Jason Todd (mostly because Damien would love this, but also Damien knows languages and now he's older he pops in and out of Smosh depending on his other work commitments, like Jason's side work being a crime kingpin in crime alley.)
Court is batgirl/oracle/Babs Gordon (super smart detective, is always needed both in the limelight and behind the scenes much like Court who is in videos but is also a genius director)
Arasha is Batgirl/Orphan/Cassandra Caine (incredibly talented at reading people's body language and expressions, is an excellent liar and is great at undercover work)
Spencer is Red Robin/Tim Drake (constantly drinking caffeine, excellent with computers, and runs the Smosh games channel the way tim runs Wayne enterprises)
Trevor is Robin/Damien Wayne (HEAR ME OUT. Incredibly skilled with knives, is the youngest, and is a constant surprise. Also switched from mythical to Smosh)
Rhett and Link as Ra's al Ghul (I know they are good guys, but they took over Smosh when it was just Ian. They helped Ian get better and heal him back to how he is now)
Mythical Chef Josh as Talia al Ghul (I'm adding Josh cause this is funny, if Rhett and Link hired/birthed Josh and Josh hired/birthed Trevor, and then lost him to Smosh... Look it made sense in my delirious state)

Hardy was found guilty of 20 offences, including six counts of rape, following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court. The victim, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, said the abuse had permanently affected her mental health and left her scared for her future. You have been a long-serving police officer. That is a career that will now inevitably end,” the judge said. Trevor-Jones lamented that, even though Hardy was aware of the trauma faced by rape victims, it was “aggravating” that he still proceeded with the unlawful act. “You would have been well aware of the widespread and lasting trauma that victims of sexual abuse suffer and yet you gave no thought to that and that is an aggravating factor,” the judge lamented. The prosecuting counsel, Vanessa Thomson, said the victim, who was in court with members of her family during the hearing, reported the abuse to police in 2020. Thomson described the defendant (Hardy) as”a controlling and manipulative man She also noted that she was not sure she would ever be able to fully trust members of law enforcement. Following Hardy’s conviction in July, GMP said he was suspended from duty and would face disciplinary proceedings, Head of the force’s Professional Standards Branch, Detective Chief Superintendent Mike Allen stated. After his conviction, Detective Sergeant Abigail Thomas, of the GMP’s Major Incident Team, said, “Stephen Hardy has been exposed as a manipulative individual who committed abhorrent offences over a significant period of time. Headcanon differences about Trixie’s identity aside, the concept of her being the author of Prime Meridian and using it, as many queer authors use their art, to explore/represent her own queerness is big brained and I have incorporated it into my belief system. That the publisher censored it in your version is so typical (meaning it’s so believable that it’s frustrating) but idk I’d like to think that, at least in my future AU, Trixie and co behind PM actually self published the first few issues, just to get the idea down and they eventually made their own publishing company: TC Comics, where yes the “C” does stand for Comics and the T stands for… idk quite remember*
More gay people nonsense under the cut inspired by the post but with my versions of the characters (and also a very violent/gory comic idea I think Trixie would have come up with so content warning for that)
The following is based on my version of the characters and expands them past their canon counterparts
Trixie and Timmy worked on Prime Meridian together, with Trixie doing the majority of the writing and basic storyboards/describing the scenes with Timmy finalizing the visuals with line and colors, all in their spare time away from their salaried jobs. After finding one of the only 2 printed copies of the pilot issue in the kitchen, Tootie sat them down and had them hash out a pitch bible and offered to edit the scripts. It was mostly Trixie’s passion project and she wasn’t ready to have it come out under her name because he hadn’t come out yet about the parts of himself that were the heart of the comic so they, as a team, went by C.E. Lion. 
Prime Meridian and a couple even smaller earlier comics were Trevor’s way of processing/exploring how he felt about her own queerness and almost self imposed lack of agency. (Hopefully this will make sense eventually)

One such early comic was later titled Beeping Heart where an unnamed robot protagonist surreptitiously stalked and hunted and eventually violently skinned its human peers to make itself more human in appearance until it was hunted down for its crimes against humanity and found, on its deathbed, that beneath its metallic outside, it had a beating bleeding heart and other fleshy organs inside all along.

It was published with no direct attribution at all, just submitted anonymously to an online forum for horror comics enthusiasts.
PM was, in many ways, a fantasy for what Trevor was hoping and achingly waiting for of what being out as queer would look like, but just as much, it explored the complicated and conflicted feelings that he had towards most of the people in his life, namely his blackmailing beard husband who he resented but was growing to respect, his childhood friends who he desperately wanted to cling to due to a fear of rejection in lieu of reciprocated affection, and his secret love affair with Tim. 
Kennueth is a bit of a self insert/ second fursona for Trixie, a source of comfort and gender envy being able to embody the androgyny to which he personally aspired to, as someone who felt cut off from his masculinity and alienated from her femininty, living full time as a woman despite knowing since she was a teenager that he was bigender and having resigned himself to cordoning off parts of himself that weren’t socially acceptable. This amount of extra stress led to a (mis?)diagnosis of chronic fatigue. It was just masking taking its typical toll.
Romance wasn’t the primary focus of the comic. It was mostly about self love and queerplatonic love and the importance of commitment in friendships. 
One important thing to note was that Kennueth’s dad was pointedly noted to be dead and that was part of the reason given that he was able to be the hero of the series in the first place. It reflected a pessimistic belief and personal conviction that the time limit to Trixie’s unhappiness would be her father’s demise. She did not wish it to come any sooner than it had to, but she could only imagine her self insert being fully free without his father being in the picture. Later issues exploring Kennueth’s past touched on his relationship with his father and depicted them as perfectly loving with Kennueth very simply mourning him in the present. 
for pride month were bringing back my joke headcanon that PML is a yuri manga and the writer (trixie tang, famous butch lesbian in my heart) also made kennueth a butch lesbian but the publishers censored it

NFCV is praised by fans on the sole bases of being better than the games, but fans don't conflate the two. I've yet to see someone insist that Trevor is canonically a drunkard in the games, because quite simply NFCV fans don't give a shit about the games and often don't even know that they exist.
While both "the Isaac in the show is a much better character than the gay shallow villain of the games! the games could never lol, so glad the show has improved on the badly-written games" and "Yes, of course Sonic would let Eggman go because he believes he can become a better person, *pff* wow go play the games you dumbass, Flynn knows what he's talking about" make me want to go to the US to commit a federal crime, they are two different flavors of fandom idiocy :)
