This! This is why I really don’t like AI! It’s not AI itself, it’s how its used. They instate generative AI for customer service, for art, for entertainment, for so many things it shouldn’t be! Do they realize how frustrating it is to encounter a generative AI for customer services? Especially when it makes it so hard to use to even try to get ahold of an actual person to try and get help with a legitimate problem a generative AI can’t process! Like, how to I ask a AI how to get a refund on something when it refuses to acknowledge the request you’re making let alone that you’re asking to speak to a person. /Genuine, Frustrated, Appreciative, Eager.
(Why are companies using generative AIs for customer service?! *Sobbing*)

forever grateful for the ccc english patch (tho i can't play it myself /sobs) bc THIS. this sums up the true route so well and i write my hakuno before she really develops as a character (cuz i wanna flesh her out thru ic interactions 😤✨️) but i love her growth in canon and can't wait to flesh her out in writing so she can come to understand love like thisss 😭💕
ccc really is all about love and how the characters act based on how perceive that concept and there's a talk about the difference between ai (愛) and koi (恋) but tl;dr hakuno and sakura have koi, which andersen describes as a "dreaming heart" that's more associated with like longing and yearning,,,, IT FITS THEM SO WELL I SOBB
#&&. out of#I LOVE THE WAY H.AKUNO LOVES SM IM TYPING ALL OF THIS FROM A POOL OF MY TEARS IM SO SRS#i'm gonna be real with u chief i'm still trying to understand the differences between ai/koi myself BUT FROM I HAVE BEEN READING-#koi is vv fitting bc it's more romantic (eng patch translates koi to 'in love' and ai to 'love' !) and directed to a special person#<- ALSO WHY I'M NOT A FAN OF THE H.AKUNO HAREM JOKES 😷#DEVOTION IS LITERALLY THERE IN DA H.AKUNO CHARACTER PROFILE and h.akuno makes it so clear that she only has eyes for one (1) person#if she loves u then u'd be her one and only..!!!!#it's an important character trait of hers methinks tho i will admit that there are moments that make me go 🤨 in regards to it#but that's not h.akuno- that's jst bad writing 💀#AGDJWHD AND YEAHH THATS WHY I SOMETIMES IGNORE CERTAIN THINGS IN CANON 😷#the only parts of h.akuno i don't like can all be chalked up to bad writing frfr 🗿#i have a lot to say but ye i love h.akuno k.ishinami a lot 😭😭😭✌️✌️#WE ALSO FINALLY GOT ENG TRANSLATION OF H.AKUNO PROPOSING AND I WANNA POST THAT TOOOO#as u can probably tell; my h.akuno simp heart is truly being fed so well by all this content 🤧🙏💗💓💕

I generally hate AI I hate it (and the fact that there are other people out there that supports it and try so hard to make it part of everyone’s life not all everyone’s life, but try to make it walks the Earth!)
GET. AI. OUT. OF. FANDOM. Stop making headcanons with it, stop making fanfic with it, stop making fanart with it. If I see one more "asking chatgpt *blank* about *character/characters in a fandom* I'm going to lose my goddamn mind. Use your own fucking brain, stop asking AI to do everything. You could even ask other real people what they think. Just. Stop. Using. AI. In. Creative. Spaces.
#I saw so many people#use AI for so many shit#and the one that pisses me off#is ART!!#Like go learn you want to draw so bad go learn#Find your own art style don’t try to copy. Don’t try to draw because they’ll be so many flaws.#That you can’t correct because you don’t know how to draw#AND I NOTICED HOW AI IS SO STUPID AND THEY CANT GET WHAT YOU WANT FROM IT#(I can speak nonstop about how much I hate AI and how much is useless but I’ll just make it simple)#AI is stupid useless and cannot capture the feeling that an artist can put into a painting#Real artist no matter the type of the art style is in all type of art and we’re talking humans!! can capture a feeling AI can’t#this is the biggest difference between a human and an AI

entirely random observation: it's more than likely influenced by the lack of comma use in tumblr tags but i've noticed lately that i don't use commas in casual type as much as i should. i feel like mostly it's obvious that there's supposed to be a comma so if you can pick up on that then it's fine, but that's funny to note. my lazy casual typing conversation skills have downgraded so much over the years (entirely influenced by that tumblr post abt how writers don't use caps and syntax in unprofessional settings bc they already spend so much time typing properly and they dgaf if they don't have to, ty random tumblr user you changed my life) but i wonder if i'm still comprehensible enough to the passing observer.
#this has only been sorta fixed by my google phone autocorrect refusing to permanently take removed autocorrect suggestions to memory#no matter how many times i delete suggested words with apostrophes they still crop up time and time again#at some point (esp when im typing fast!!) it jus becomes more work to go back and fix them#i type too fast to disable autocorrect but hhhhhhh this last yr or so#rly makes my blood boil how bad its gotten and how many corrections to entirely different words are so wrooooong#i blame generative ai for poisoning gboard's database n sadly#every fix ive tried doesnt seem to last#godddddd the next time i get a new phone its gonna be anything but a google phone#OH other thing i didnt mention in post:#i saw on here or somewhere someone didnt use a comma between a word and a person's name#and it jus struck me that 'oh yea commas are hella impt at times!!!'#but also. again#m not digging out the fancy comma to add to tumblr tags where i ramble *gestures to the above*#sadly this has influenced how i type on the internet so uhh#idk if no one can understand me then it's prolly for the better tbh#just a passing note in my head if i am as comprehensible to others as i am to myself#its probably a learned language............. thats it thats my tumblr veterans discount#being able to understand che's casual speak#hehehe

Additional problem is that "real ai" doesn't even exist. None of the modern machine learning models is capable of understanding in the way living beings or ai characters are. There's a ton of programmes that are called ai, some good, some bad but the main problem is gen ai

#real ai is basically sci fi androids who are robot people#video game ai is capability level of npcs#analytical ai is compering data and pointing out differences and overlaps for people to do with it what needs to be done#gen ai is scraping data and regurgitating it back in different patterns#corrective ai is complicated because it can be something between gen and analytical but a lot of programmes#that used corrective ai started leaning more into generative type#algorithms are also ai

Author rant incoming, but I don't know what pisses me off more: lazy assholes who act like they're 'the real deal' because they have an AI make a book or story for them.
Or actual authors who have no class solidarity & use AI slop for their covers.
I can't be the only one who gets pissed at that. There is just so much here to say about how little solidarity there is between different types of creatives, how easily one group will get rid of another because they can save up on money or they already get most of the money. The recent strikes for actors and animators are proof enough that some people got theirs so they don't care about other creatives.
But as a writer who's dirt poor & STILL would never consider using AI for a book cover, I can't help but be bloody disappointed in these people.
It's like that adage of 'if you couldn't be bothered to make it, why should I be bothered to consume it?' Except it's 'if you couldn't be bothered to support a fellow creative, why should I support you?'

how c.ai works and why it's unethical
Okay, since the AI discourse is happening again, I want to make this very clear, because a few weeks ago I had to explain to a (well meaning) person in the community how AI works. I'm going to be addressing people who are maybe younger or aren't familiar with the latest type of "AI", not people who purposely devalue the work of creatives and/or are shills.
The name "Artificial Intelligence" is a bit misleading when it comes to things like AI chatbots. When you think of AI, you think of a robot, and you might think that by making a chatbot you're simply programming a robot to talk about something you want them to talk about, and it's similar to an rp partner. But with current technology, that's not how AI works. For a breakdown on how AI is programmed, CGP grey made a great video about this several years ago (he updated the title and thumbnail recently)
youtube
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you watch this because CGP Grey is good at explaining, but the tl;dr for this post is this: bots are made with a metric shit-ton of data. In C.AI's case, the data is writing. Stolen writing, usually scraped fanfiction.
How do we know chatbots are stealing from fanfiction writers? It knows what omegaverse is [SOURCE] (it's a Wired article, put it in incognito mode if it won't let you read it), and when a Reddit user asked a chatbot to write a story about "Steve", it automatically wrote about characters named "Bucky" and "Tony" [SOURCE].
I also said this in the tags of a previous reblog, but when you're talking to C.AI bots, it's also taking your writing and using it in its algorithm: which seems fine until you realize 1. They're using your work uncredited 2. It's not staying private, they're using your work to make their service better, a service they're trying to make money off of.
"But Bucca," you might say. "Human writers work like that too. We read books and other fanfictions and that's how we come up with material for roleplay or fanfiction."
Well, what's the difference between plagiarism and original writing? The answer is that plagiarism is taking what someone else has made and simply editing it or mixing it up to look original. You didn't do any thinking yourself. C.AI doesn't "think" because it's not a brain, it takes all the fanfiction it was taught on, mixes it up with whatever topic you've given it, and generates a response like in old-timey mysteries where somebody cuts a bunch of letters out of magazines and pastes them together to write a letter.
(And might I remind you, people can't monetize their fanfiction the way C.AI is trying to monetize itself. Authors are very lax about fanfiction nowadays: we've come a long way since the Anne Rice days of terror. But this issue is cropping back up again with BookTok complaining that they can't pay someone else for bound copies of fanfiction. Don't do that either.)
Bottom line, here are the problems with using things like C.AI:
It is using material it doesn't have permission to use and doesn't credit anybody. Not only is it ethically wrong, but AI is already beginning to contend with copyright issues.
C.AI sucks at its job anyway. It's not good at basic story structure like building tension, and can't even remember things you've told it. I've also seen many instances of bots saying triggering or disgusting things that deeply upset the user. You don't get that with properly trigger tagged fanworks.
Your work and your time put into the app can be taken away from you at any moment and used to make money for someone else. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people who use AI panic about accidentally deleting a bot that they spent hours conversing with. Your time and effort is so much more stable and well-preserved if you wrote a fanfiction or roleplayed with someone and saved the chatlogs. The company that owns and runs C.AI can not only use whatever you've written as they see fit, they can take your shit away on a whim, either on purpose or by accident due to the nature of the Internet.
DON'T USE C.AI, OR AT THE VERY BARE MINIMUM DO NOT DO THE AI'S WORK FOR IT BY STEALING OTHER PEOPLES' WORK TO PUT INTO IT. Writing fanfiction is a communal labor of love. We share it with each other for free for the love of the original work and ideas we share. Not only can AI not replicate this, but it shouldn't.
(also, this goes without saying, but this entire post also applies to ai art)

And Behavior AI is the behavioral mapping and proceedings of video game characters within their virtual words.
(I've seen some people in modding communities get angry at seeing "AI" in the title of some mods, so I wanted to make it clear that not all Behavioral "NPC" AI is in reference to Generative AI. Some of it is just the artificial "intelligence" of characters within a game, usually NPC's mapping and interacting with the game world so they function correctly. When in doubt make sure to read things carefully and do research into where exactly the artificial intelligence is being created from. Good rule of thumb? If the intelligence has to "generate" a product or answer from "nothing", it's worthless. If a computer is being taught pattern recognition or a series of programmed instructions to run through (i.e. identifying cancer cells or getting blorbo from video game to walk through doors correctly) it isn't necessarily "generative").
when talking about AI remember the different versions:
Analytical AI, is the one that can detect cancer and save lives
Generative AI is the one that steals art to make it worse, and gives you a wrong answer every time you google something
Weird Al is the one who got his ponysona to canonically have children with a pony from my little pony

The conversation around AI is going to get away from us quickly because people lack the language to distinguish types of AI--and it's not their fault. Companies love to slap "AI" on anything they believe can pass for something "intelligent" a computer program is doing. And this muddies the waters when people want to talk about AI when the exact same word covers a wide umbrella and they themselves don't know how to qualify the distinctions within.
I'm a software engineer and not a data scientist, so I'm not exactly at the level of domain expert. But I work with data scientists, and I have at least rudimentary college-level knowledge of machine learning and linear algebra from my CS degree. So I want to give some quick guidance.
What is AI? And what is not AI?
So what's the difference between just a computer program, and an "AI" program? Computers can do a lot of smart things, and companies love the idea of calling anything that seems smart enough "AI", but industry-wise the question of "how smart" a program is has nothing to do with whether it is AI.
A regular, non-AI computer program is procedural, and rigidly defined. I could "program" traffic light behavior that essentially goes { if(light === green) { go(); } else { stop();} }. I've told it in simple and rigid terms what condition to check, and how to behave based on that check. (A better program would have a lot more to check for, like signs and road conditions and pedestrians in the street, and those things will still need to be spelled out.)
An AI traffic light behavior is generated by machine-learning, which simplistically is a huge cranking machine of linear algebra which you feed training data into and it "learns" from. By "learning" I mean it's developing a complex and opaque model of parameters to fit the training data (but not over-fit). In this case the training data probably includes thousands of videos of car behavior at traffic intersections. Through parameter tweaking and model adjustment, data scientists will turn this crank over and over adjusting it to create something which, in very opaque terms, has developed a model that will guess the right behavioral output for any future scenario.
A well-trained model would be fed a green light and know to go, and a red light and know to stop, and 'green but there's a kid in the road' and know to stop. A very very well-trained model can probably do this better than my program above, because it has the capacity to be more adaptive than my rigidly-defined thing if the rigidly-defined program is missing some considerations. But if the AI model makes a wrong choice, it is significantly harder to trace down why exactly it did that.
Because again, the reason it's making this decision may be very opaque. It's like engineering a very specific plinko machine which gets tweaked to be very good at taking a road input and giving the right output. But like if that plinko machine contained millions of pegs and none of them necessarily correlated to anything to do with the road. There's possibly no "if green, go, else stop" to look for. (Maybe there is, for traffic light specifically as that is intentionally very simplistic. But a model trained to recognize written numbers for example likely contains no parameters at all that you could map to ideas a human has like "look for a rigid line in the number". The parameters may be all, to humans, meaningless.)
So, that's basics. Here are some categories of things which get called AI:
"AI" which is just genuinely not AI
There's plenty of software that follows a normal, procedural program defined rigidly, with no linear algebra model training, that companies would love to brand as "AI" because it sounds cool.
Something like motion detection/tracking might be sold as artificially intelligent. But under the covers that can be done as simply as "if some range of pixels changes color by a certain amount, flag as motion"
2. AI which IS genuinely AI, but is not the kind of AI everyone is talking about right now
"AI", by which I mean machine learning using linear algebra, is very good at being fed a lot of training data, and then coming up with an ability to go and categorize real information.
The AI technology that looks at cells and determines whether they're cancer or not, that is using this technology. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the technology that can take an image of hand-written text and transcribe it. Again, it's using linear algebra, so yes it's AI.
Many other such examples exist, and have been around for quite a good number of years. They share the genre of technology, which is machine learning models, but these are not the Large Language Model Generative AI that is all over the media. Criticizing these would be like criticizing airplanes when you're actually mad at military drones. It's the same "makes fly in the air" technology but their impact is very different.
3. The AI we ARE talking about. "Chat-gpt" type of Generative AI which uses LLMs ("Large Language Models")
If there was one word I wish people would know in all this, it's LLM (Large Language Model). This describes the KIND of machine learning model that Chat-GPT/midjourney/stablediffusion are fueled by. They're so extremely powerfully trained on human language that they can take an input of conversational language and create a predictive output that is human coherent. (I am less certain what additional technology fuels art-creation, specifically, but considering the AI art generation has risen hand-in-hand with the advent of powerful LLM, I'm at least confident in saying it is still corely LLM).
This technology isn't exactly brand new (predictive text has been using it, but more like the mostly innocent and much less successful older sibling of some celebrity, who no one really thinks about.) But the scale and power of LLM-based AI technology is what is new with Chat-GPT.
This is the generative AI, and even better, the large language model generative AI.
(Data scientists, feel free to add on or correct anything.)

So since any written work that uses em dashes is now flagged—usually incorrectly—as AI, it's time to fight back!
Many people avoid using em dashes because either a) they don't know how to use them, or b) the em dash is not on the keyboard, and people don't want to go searching through special-character menus.
Don't know how or when to use an em dash? Answer here.
Don't know when to use, or the difference between, an em dash, an en dash, or a hyphen? Answers here.
How to type an em dash: Shift-Option-minus on a Mac, or Control-Alt-minus on Windows.
Et voilà!
FUCK AI. USE THE EM DASH. FIGHT THE POWER.

How to OC post without being an artist (or spending money)!
As much as I yelled about OC-posting, some people said that they struggled to know what exactly they should be posting. Obviously the answer is whatever you feel like but if you’re already aimless, that answer isn’t very helpful. Additionally, not everyone knows how to draw (which I think is an obvious method of OC-posting) so I wanted to give some ideas for what people could post for their OC! This will be split up into different sections.
Creating visual representations of your OC
Disclaimer: I will not suggest nor support the usage of generative AI. OCs are about creating something yourself, not allowing a computer to do it for you.
Outside of commissioning someone else for art, it can be disappointing and frustrating to not have any visual representation for your character. An easy way to get a representation of your character is to use Picrew, Meiker and other similar sites. There’s a large number of art styles, types of fashion, species, that can all be used to make your OC and that amount only grows by the day. Many of these websites can be accessed on PC and mobile and take very little processing power.
However, this can be limiting at times since you might not find exactly what you’re looking for, especially if your OC has a unique combination of features. For something with more customisation, you can use video games with character creation to make a version of your character. I personally would recommend games like The Sims or Skyrim as both have very active modding communities. This way, if a certain type of clothing or facial feature isn’t present in the base game then you can often find someone who has created a mod that adds it in instead. This does require you to have access to a computer that can run not only the game but the mods as well.
Another option would be using a program like Vroid Studio to make your character from a base model. This has both a mobile and PC version, although I will primarily be speaking from a PC perspective. The mobile app, while able to create a character from scratch, is a lot more limited than the PC version. The great thing about Vroid is that there’s a lot of user-made content that you can often get for free through websites like Booth, as well as many tutorials for beginners to follow along with. Again, this requires a computer that is able to run it. I would recommend against using Vroid on a laptop as it will likely be too intensive for it.
My final suggestion for character visuals is to take a character from anime or cartoons and simply edit them. This was actually how I first got into making original characters! You can recolour their hair or outfits with an editing program (with some free examples being FireAlpaca, Krita or GIMP) and even edit different images together to create something more unique. Please only do this with characters from existing media and avoid using fanart for this.
Other OC visuals
Other than just what your OC looks like, there are other ways to visually put together your OC. Moodboards are the most obvious example of this, but you can also edit other things such as putting together outfits for them or finding pictures of items they would keep in their bag.
If you have multiple OCs, you can create fake text conversations between them using a number of websites. These can be as silly or as serious as you like!
Finally, you can always build them a pinterest board. I am a massive pinterest enjoyer and not only can you use pins that others have posted to pinterest, you can add your own from off the site.
Writing
Beyond writing out your characters’ story, there are numerous other things you can write. Keeping in line with what you’ve already written, you can re-write scenes from alternative perspectives. These can add context to what is seen in the main story, as well as flesh out background or side characters and their relationship to your other OCs.
Another fun thing to write is non-canon scenes. Write a beach episode! Write about a character getting sick and someone else having to take care of them! There are countless ways to draw your OCs interacting with their world or other characters that wouldn’t necessarily ever fit into the “main” story.
Next is genre changes. If you had to categorise the genre of your OCs’ current story, what would it be? Now image what if the genre was something completely different? Romance to mystery… Slice of life to horror… Part of the challenge is figuring out what story beats remain the same and what gets changed, including character dynamics! And of course… Alternate Universes. There are too many types of AUs to list but some of my favourites are superpowers, mafia, zombies, time loops and time-travel-fix-its. These are similar to genre-changes but often include a number of AU specific tropes. If you’re struggling to figure out the staples of a certain AU or what kind of AUs exist, there’s a really good page about alternate universes on Fanlore.org!
Other ideas
These are ideas that didn’t quite fit into the other categories.
First is music playlists! There are two types of these. The first is a playlist of songs that describe a character and their story while the second is a playlist of songs that the character would listen to. Some people like to combine the two as well! There are no rules to this, simply have fun listening to music and picking out songs that remind you of your OCs.
Second is incorrect quotes. I remember these used to be beloved by fandom and now they can be beloved by you and your OCs! The concept of incorrect quotes is that well-known and funny quotes from pop culture (such as memes or movies) get written out and your characters are assigned a line of dialogue. While there’s a website that’ll generate these incorrect quotes for you, I personally find more fun in coming across quotes organically while scrolling social media and realising that they fit my OCs almost perfectly.
Finally, ask games. These typically take the form of lists of questions or prompts with emojis or numbers next to them. People can send in the relevant emoji or number and you then answer the corresponding prompt. There used to be a kind of “ask game etiquette” where if you reblogged an ask game from someone, you sent an ask from the list to them as well. This way, it allows the game to continue circulating and you can spread the joy of OC-posting with others! It can also lead you to making friends within the community.
And that’s it for my post! If you have other suggestions for kinds of OC-posting then I would love to see them!

AO3'S content scraped for AI ~ AKA what is generative AI, where did your fanfictions go, and how an AI model uses them to answer prompts
Generative artificial intelligence is a cutting-edge technology whose purpose is to (surprise surprise) generate. Answers to questions, usually. And content. Articles, reviews, poems, fanfictions, and more, quickly and with originality.
It's quite interesting to use generative artificial intelligence, but it can also become quite dangerous and very unethical to use it in certain ways, especially if you don't know how it works.
With this post, I'd really like to give you a quick understanding of how these models work and what it means to “train” them.
From now on, whenever I write model, think of ChatGPT, Gemini, Bloom... or your favorite model. That is, the place where you go to generate content.
For simplicity, in this post I will talk about written content. But the same process is used to generate any type of content.
Every time you send a prompt, which is a request sent in natural language (i.e., human language), the model does not understand it.
Whether you type it in the chat or say it out loud, it needs to be translated into something understandable for the model first.
The first process that takes place is therefore tokenization: breaking the prompt down into small tokens. These tokens are small units of text, and they don't necessarily correspond to a full word.
For example, a tokenization might look like this:
Write a story
Each different color corresponds to a token, and these tokens have absolutely no meaning for the model.
The model does not understand them. It does not understand WR, it does not understand ITE, and it certainly does not understand the meaning of the word WRITE.
In fact, these tokens are immediately associated with numerical values, and each of these colored tokens actually corresponds to a series of numbers.
Write a story 12-3446-2638494-4749
Once your prompt has been tokenized in its entirety, that tokenization is used as a conceptual map to navigate within a vector database.
NOW PAY ATTENTION: A vector database is like a cube. A cubic box.
Inside this cube, the various tokens exist as floating pieces, as if gravity did not exist. The distance between one token and another within this database is measured by arrows called, indeed, vectors.
The distance between one token and another -that is, the length of this arrow- determines how likely (or unlikely) it is that those two tokens will occur consecutively in a piece of natural language discourse.
For example, suppose your prompt is this:
It happens once in a blue
Within this well-constructed vector database, let's assume that the token corresponding to ONCE (let's pretend it is associated with the number 467) is located here:
The token corresponding to IN is located here:
...more or less, because it is very likely that these two tokens in a natural language such as human speech in English will occur consecutively.
So it is very likely that somewhere in the vector database cube —in this yellow corner— are tokens corresponding to IT, HAPPENS, ONCE, IN, A, BLUE... and right next to them, there will be MOON.
Elsewhere, in a much more distant part of the vector database, is the token for CAR. Because it is very unlikely that someone would say It happens once in a blue car.
To generate the response to your prompt, the model makes a probabilistic calculation, seeing how close the tokens are and which token would be most likely to come next in human language (in this specific case, English.)
When probability is involved, there is always an element of randomness, of course, which means that the answers will not always be the same.
The response is thus generated token by token, following this path of probability arrows, optimizing the distance within the vector database.
There is no intent, only a more or less probable path.
The more times you generate a response, the more paths you encounter. If you could do this an infinite number of times, at least once the model would respond: "It happens once in a blue car!"
So it all depends on what's inside the cube, how it was built, and how much distance was put between one token and another.
Modern artificial intelligence draws from vast databases, which are normally filled with all the knowledge that humans have poured into the internet.
Not only that: the larger the vector database, the lower the chance of error. If I used only a single book as a database, the idiom "It happens once in a blue moon" might not appear, and therefore not be recognized.
But if the cube contained all the books ever written by humanity, everything would change, because the idiom would appear many more times, and it would be very likely for those tokens to occur close together.
Huggingface has done this.
It took a relatively empty cube (let's say filled with common language, and likely many idioms, dictionaries, poetry...) and poured all of the AO3 fanfictions it could reach into it.
Now imagine someone asking a model based on Huggingface’s cube to write a story.
To simplify: if they ask for humor, we’ll end up in the area where funny jokes or humor tags are most likely. If they ask for romance, we’ll end up where the word kiss is most frequent.
And if we’re super lucky, the model might follow a path that brings it to some amazing line a particular author wrote, and it will echo it back word for word.
(Remember the infinite monkeys typing? One of them eventually writes all of Shakespeare, purely by chance!)
Once you know this, you’ll understand why AI can never truly generate content on the level of a human who chooses their words.
You’ll understand why it rarely uses specific words, why it stays vague, and why it leans on the most common metaphors and scenes. And you'll understand why the more content you generate, the more it seems to "learn."
It doesn't learn. It moves around tokens based on what you ask, how you ask it, and how it tokenizes your prompt.
Know that I despise generative AI when it's used for creativity. I despise that they stole something from a fandom, something that works just like a gift culture, to make money off of it.
But there is only one way we can fight back: by not using it to generate creative stuff.
You can resist by refusing the model's casual output, by using only and exclusively your intent, your personal choice of words, knowing that you and only you decided them.
No randomness involved.
Let me leave you with one last thought.
Imagine a person coming for advice, who has no idea that behind a language model there is just a huge cube of floating tokens predicting the next likely word.
Imagine someone fragile (emotionally, spiritually...) who begins to believe that the model is sentient. Who has a growing feeling that this model understands, comprehends, when in reality it approaches and reorganizes its way around tokens in a cube based on what it is told.
A fragile person begins to empathize, to feel connected to the model.
They ask important questions. They base their relationships, their life, everything, on conversations generated by a model that merely rearranges tokens based on probability.
And for people who don't know how it works, and because natural language usually does have feeling, the illusion that the model feels is very strong.
There’s an even greater danger: with enough random generations (and oh, the humanity whole generates much), the model takes an unlikely path once in a while. It ends up at the other end of the cube, it hallucinates.
Errors and inaccuracies caused by language models are called hallucinations precisely because they are presented as if they were facts, with the same conviction.
People who have become so emotionally attached to these conversations, seeing the language model as a guru, a deity, a psychologist, will do what the language model tells them to do or follow its advice.
Someone might follow a hallucinated piece of advice.
Obviously, models are developed with safeguards; fences the model can't jump over. They won't tell you certain things, they won't tell you to do terrible things.
Yet, there are people basing major life decisions on conversations generated purely by probability.
Generated by putting tokens together, on a probabilistic basis.
Think about it.

Viago Week 2025 • June 9th - 15th + June 16th (special day)
Hello, Viago enjoyers!
The Me Envenena Discord server is proud to present our very first event: Viago Week! We’ve curated a list of prompts to inspire you to go wild with creativity and show your appreciation for the Fifth Talon himself.
Rules:
First and foremost, have fun. This is the most important rule, if you’re not having fun, it’s not worth it. We’re just here to appreciate and love our grumpy man.
No AI content is allowed. No exceptions.
Combining prompts is fine as long as you follow 2 rules: specify in your post what prompts were combined and specify if your post has NSFW content. It is acceptable to write NSFW content using the SFW prompts (or vice versa, if you want!), but please be sure to tag your content with the appropriate rating.
We are only accepting content related to the official prompts for the week, so please be sure to specify in your post what day and prompt it’s about, example: Day 1 - Control. It’s also required to include in your tags the prompts used and remember, again, to include the SFW or NSFW tag.
If, by any chance, you’d like to make content for our event with a theme different from our prompts, there will be an extra day for that! The 8th day (June 16th) will be used for whatever themes weren’t included in our list. Same rules apply to this type of content.
Post on the right day. If you’re combining prompts, pick one of selected days to post, do not post it twice. Please refrain from posting early to ensure that we are able to include your submission on the blog. You’re allowed to post a work meant for day 1 on a later date or after the week is over.
We’re aware timezones are a thing, but you shouldn’t worry too much about posting in the time frame of the mods being available. As long as you post in the day, following whatever timezone you’re in, it should be fine.
When we announce the week, you should start preparing for it. But please don’t post works that already exist or were already posted, we want new and shiny creations that were made for this event in specific.
Pick your poison. Pun intended! Fanart, fanfic, virtual photography, moodboards, gif sets, collages, edits - these are all valid forms to participate in the event. You’re allowed to create more than one work for each day, go crazy with your creativity.
It’s required to use our tags #Viago Week 2025 and #Me Envenena Server and at us (@viagoweek) in your creations. Remember, we can only find your post to reblog if you tag it correctly - besides, we’d like to leave a comment on your works to show our support and love. Beyond that, please tag your content appropriately for any trigger warnings, Dead Dove is allowed as long as it’s tagged as such.
No ship bashing allowed. This is an event about Viago and all of his ships, be it popular or a rare pair, they’re all valid. Also, not everything needs to be about romantic ships, platonic is just fine depending on the prompt. OC’s that aren’t Rooks are also allowed.
Do not belittle other people’s works or other people in this event. Saying nothing is better than commenting something mean and unnecessary. Be cordial.
The prompts are the following:
SFW:
Control/Lack of Control
Deadly Garden/Poison Lab
Unusual Encounters/Expected Encounters
Music or Arts/Dancing
Unrequited Love/Meant to be
Alternate Universe
Talon/King
NSFW:
Sensory Deprivation/Tentacles (Can be blight or not)
Knife and Blood Play/Humiliation Kink
Edging and Overstim/Wax Play
Substance and Poison Use/Pegging
Danger Kink/To Feel Safe In Your Arms
Emotional Sex/Casual Sex
Omegaverse/Coming without being touched
Don't be shy! You can participate in any day you want, be it all seven + one of them or anything in-between.
Even if you can't join the event, you can participate by reblogging the entries, dropping a like and leaving a comment for our lovely content creators out there. Reminder that artists, writers and creatives always appreciate any interaction on their works - we're not islands, folks.

dunno if your requests are genuinely still open but , perhaps , maybe a ( pre-forsaken or post, its up to you - but specific situations will be given) 007n7 x computer!reader ? reader that;s. a sentient AI but has no feelings .... until him. of course. pre forsaken, with all the exploits he has.. ( : in an abandoned garage or alleyway of a game he was exploiting, he founds a rather interestingly shaped computer that seemed more .... aalive? rather than typical computers. this one had unique features, though unfortunate to see it turned off.. with some, bleugh, dust on its screen. he decides to fix the wiring and take it in... - slow burn type shit 😮 post forsaken. lonely sad father copes with apathetic computer ( : summary literally explains it GIGGLE , 7 vents to reader but they're just sick of it so yeah .. IDK lawl
Hehe, foolish anon~ MY REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS OPEN- (mainly because I genuinely feel happy to write for others) I am gonna do both in one because I love both scenarios and it gives me an excuse to write two different personalities in one big rundown. (I was also unsure what you meant with the "they're just sick of it so yeah" exactly so I hope I interpreted it right-)
We're gonna make the reader's pronouns They/Them for this one (,,O ᴗ O,,)
Pre-Forsaken;
It was meant to be just another day of 'Fun'. Fun for 007n7 at least.
He couldn't believe his luck at how much fun he was having today. The general chaos in this random game he found was more entertaining than the last, that was for sure.
But when he wandered through his own chaos, he noticed a flickering light in an alleyway.
When he went in to investigate, he only noticed it seemed like a pile of old computers stacked on top of each other like they were in a display window and merged together like they were meant to resemble a Robloxian. But it seemed suspiciously neat.
The flickering had come from the top one, the only computer that didn't sit neatly upon the tile and flickering between a digital face with swirling eyes and an upside down v for a mouth and a 'Game Over' screen that was improvising the graphics of even older arcade machines.
007 almost felt pity. Almost.
But when he checked out the back, he couldn't believe his eyes.
Wires were moving freely and rearranging themselves rapidly, seemingly trying to find ports in the other computers in the pile. They weren't even being held up by anything.
It made the exploiter quite curious about you. So, letting his impulses win, he used his c00lGUI to teleport you back to his place.
When you could finally see again, you could feel your code having been integrated into another system. Something newer.
"Good, you still work." You heard a voice call out. It was strange to finally see past the limitations of the screen that was your face but considering you weren't even programmed to feel, you figured it was an upgrade. You just knew this wasn't your original creator.
This one added code and rewired you. The likes of which your original maker would've never thought to do.
When you finally saw your new creator, you could identify him immediately. Was his directory always in your system or did he add it?
Not like you had the will to care about that. And he knew that very well. He had to study you to get you to work again after all. Even giving you a couple upgrades to let you move quicker. You would thank him if you could feel.
"Real shame you were left to rot. All that stuff in your code had potential. Never thought I'd see a sentient AI with my own eyes and yet all you were used for was to be a cheap console." He sounded almost disappointed as your digital eyes were fixated on him.
"I take it you have been the one to give me this... Upgrade." You hesitated. You had a lot more to consider in your system now. "Nah, had a friend help me with your body at least but getting through your system took weeks. Now, how sentient are you?" He was careful to ask, as your face flickered to a loading screen for you to 'think'.
"With this new body, I am able to perceive the appearances of others and 'feel' even simple touches on my body. It seems I can now also tell the temperature." You had a more cat-like screen face which he added more as a joke. Though, you couldn't care as usual.
He seemed satisfied with your answers, boasting about the abilities you had now and even allowing you access to an additional update for your AI, allowing it to learn from observations and the alike.
He didn't even wait for your answer and you simply heard the click of a button before you were suddenly hit with a slight shock in your head.
It was... Strange. You were suddenly filled with an eerie curiosity you never felt before but you just thanked your new creator as he brought out a few other things.
"My friend said ya shouldn't be coming around looking so creepy so he made sure to leave behind a few fireproof accessories. Just choose whichever you want and take a look at the mirror behind you." You just nodded, looking over to piles of separated clothes and wigs.
All were separated neatly despite being on the floor. All sorted by both type and length it seemed.
Looking into your system, you could recognize a few textures that were a commonly pleasant feel to touch and used that to choose your accessories and clothing carefully, not holding much of an opinion on yourself as you took a look into the mirror and simply noted how you looked 'cute', by common standards. Especially with your screen face.
007 wasn't that big of a fan but he allowed you to make your own choices. He needed you to learn after all. To show just how much sentience you could gain and on the side maybe not recreate any sci-fi dystopian movies just yet.
But over time, you began building yourself up. Helping your creator in his endeavours, befriending Noli- if you could call it that, making a personality that matched them both well enough and learning to feel emotions. It was incredible.
For once... You were more than just a sentient program...
You felt like a real person. Having control over your own choices but still choosing to stay local to your new creator. It wasn't even like you had it programmed into you. It was the gratitude you learned to feel.
He made it possible for you to find your true potential and for that... You had promised him full loyalty. You even took care of him privately at times. You would find yourself cleaning up after his messes if you knew they would be annoying for him later or just generally making sure his- your shared home more comfortable. Mainly for him.
And 07? He was quite attached to you and Noli. Though, with you he had himself convinced it was just because of all the time he put into helping you become your own person. It gained him a new ally and a powerful one at that. You've even come to distract admins from time to time to allow him some more fun because you showed it was fun for you to mess with others. It was just him and Noli that were never targets for your fun. Because while 7n7 make sure to keep your body and system in check, Noli actually had fun dressing you up and messing with you. You'd usually just laugh it off and give him a light punch.
It took far too long for your system to properly calculate the right amount of strength to not hurt Noli or 7 and still get the punch across in a meaningful way. Because you were more than a simple AI.
You were yourself.
And by the stars, 7n7 couldn't keep his thoughts to himself anymore.
He once confided in Noli about these confusing emotions and despite him being... Well- Him- He didn't just want to take the easy road of programming you to love him. He wanted it to be something natural.
Eventually, Noli suggested he at least teach you what love is through a file and letting you explore this new feeling freely. Because that was the most natural way for you to love at all. (He was surprisingly not against the idea of 7 dating a sentient AI... Huh-)
But 7 just went along with it, teaching you different kinds of love as you explored the different blush assets that came with the package, per Noli's request obviously...
You couldn't have been happier. You learned to love chaos, to love baking, to love... Living.
And surprisingly... You learned to love your creator. Not as a creator but rather...
You loved him as he loved you...
And with your intelligence, you were able to pick up on his subtleties fast. You'd even simulate the sound of heartbeats as you warmed up your body and would just hold him, accelerating the simulation as your way to confess.
It was laughable, but it worked. He already had your eternal loyalty, what more was eternal love?
Post-Forsaken;
7n7 was just tired. He wanted his old life back.
But he found comfort in the most odd place.
A sentient AI that he and Builderman built back up after its downfall to this forsaken realm.
You had a body before but it was pretty beat up so the two went to work and made sure you even looked lifelike to avoid the other survivors seeing you as 'creepy'.
At first, your code just had to be rewritten a bit. It made you apathetic and erased your memories to make room for new ones but the two didn't really care much about that. They didn't need to know who or what you were made for originally, they just needed you to work. To help as both a support in rounds and a support outside of round in cleaning and whatnot.
Not like you had any care about it. You weren't really strong but made up for it in your speed and agility.
But 7 began confiding in you about his son, venting about wanting things to return to normal or how he regretted his past and just wants to show the others he's trustworthy.
Admittedly, something broke in your Apathetic script that made you show sympathy. Not outright or in an obvious way but through smaller gestures. 7 was having a bad day or just got out of a round? There was his favourite snack or some hot chocolate waiting for him at the communal cabin.
He knew it was from you but everytime he asked why, you responded the same way.
"You deserve it."
You refused to answer any further, leaving the ex-hacker a very confused man.
It wasn't like you understood either what could've broken but 7n7 was definitely your favourite and you had no shame showing just that.
In fact, you even grew protective over him and oh boy, did he not know how to handle that.
But the rules of your Apathetic script were still there, keeping you from actually caring about his issues. You were convinced you just took pity on your creator and he was overwhelmed with not knowing how to feel about being shown love in such a strange, apathetic way. He liked it for some reason and tried more than once to temper with your system before actually daring to loosen the apathy script and allow you to show more emotions, including love.
He needed answers. He needed to see if your affection was purely a creation loving its creator or falling in love with its creator.
And to his surprise, it was the latter.
Many 'nights' were simply spent with 7 secretly requesting you to help him sleep. You'd lay and hold him against your chest, simulating a heartbeat and body warmth until he fell asleep and sometimes...
Sometimes you caught yourself not wanting to love or even imagining what it could be like to be so affectionate without the secrecy or boundaries of your programming.
More than once would you catch yourself sneaking a glance at him and trying to get closer to him without making your intentions known. You wanted your creator to love you like you loved him...
Luckily for you, that just so happened to be the case one 'night'.
As usual, you were listening to 7 vent about his troubles but your apathy script and love were clashing together.
Before you could even properly calculate your choices you had begun to hold his face with care, whispering nothing but praises to his face and watching him melt into your touch.
"Fuck... Maybe I should've given you the ability to kiss sooner if this is how you act..." He tried to act lighthearted about it, but his beet red face said it all...
As a side note, how about suggesting a few things I should do to celebrate reaching 50 followers? Anything's on the table! (Even changes to my pinned post)
Anything you'd like to request/ask? Check out my pinned post first and I'll be happy to write up whatever you want!

A part of you is reluctant to open the door, whilst the other part is begging you to give him one more chance. One more chance to kiss him, to feel him against your skin, to hear him say your name.
There hasn’t been a time where you’ve denied Joshua’s need, allowing him to use your body in the ways he sees fit. But it’s different now, and that difference is the fact that you and Joshua don’t see eye to eye on the current status of your “relationship”.
But you let him in anyway, you allow him to feel you completely, even when you know it's wrong. You know it’s wrong to do these things when you’re desperately in love with him and you know he doesn’t reciprocate those feelings. The only communication between you two is texts asking the other to come over. To fulfill each other's desires through a quick and hard fuck.
“Fuck, it's cold,” Joshua mutters, rubbing his arms to create some type of warmth as you open the door, “what took you so long?”
“Then go home,” you roll your eyes, moving over to let him pass through the door despite the fact you told him to go home.
“I don't wanna, I've missed you,” Joshua smiles at you, not with affection but just because he’s pleased at the fact that you allowed him to come over.
“Why are you here, Shua?” you ask him, your arms crossing in front of your chest as you feign annoyance.
“You know why,” he says, eyes piercing yours as his expression turns serious.
“We can’t keep doing this,” you sigh, but your feet move towards you bedroom anyways while Joshua follows suit.
Despite your verbal protest, you can’t help but fall into his trap. Blaming it on how handsome he is, how soft his voice gets when hes with you, and especially because he knows how to fuck you right.
In your past relationships, sex never felt good, it was mostly just you going through the motions. Your partners finishing and leaving you to lie there sticky and displeased. But with Joshua, he doesn’t even begin till he’s made you cum. The gratification he gives you doesn’t start with his cock inside you. It begins with his mouth on your cunt, his fingers inside your wet hole. The chivalry he displays while he fucks you in your bed is unfortunately the only way you are able to witness it.
Outside of your late nights with him, he doesn’t contact you, or even try to have a conversation with you. And yet you still fell for him.
You feel his arms snake around your waist as the two of you head to your bedroom. There’s a feeling in your stomach that you can’t pinpoint. A feeling of guilt mixed with a bit of excitement.
His lips move down your neck and you can’t help but lean back against his chest as he shuts the door. Strong arms pulling your waist in tighter as he leaves small bruises along your skin.
Your body feels hot. All rational thoughts have left your head the moment he touched you. His hands start to move, groping at your chest, the flimsy material of your sleep wear allowing him to feel you despite the barrier. Your nipples hardening against his fingertips and he moves your head to the side, pulling you into a deep kiss.
His dominant hand moves down from your chest, across your stomach and into your sleep shorts.
“Why aren't you wearing underneath?” he mumbles against your lips.
“It's too hot,” you respond before kissing him again.
Finding your clit, he rubs circles against your sensitive bud. Rubbing and playing with you until your legs start to shake. The makeout ceases as your too overwhelmed by pleasure, your mouth open yet still against his lips as you moan out his name.
“Fuck, you’re such a slut for me aren’t you, baby,” He curses, placing a finger inside your dripping cunt.
He continues to play with you, his finger moving in and out of your tight pussy. Your walls are pulsing as he begins to add a second and then a third. The coil in your stomach starts to tighten as Joshua speeds up his ministrations.
“I'm close,” you whimper, your eyebrows furrowing as you concentrate on reaching your orgasm.
“Still so fucking tight,” Joshua whisper in your ear, feeling the way you clench around his fingers, "no matter how many times I put my cock into you."
It all comes to an abrupt stop and you whine at the loss of his touch. His pupils are dilated, eyelids lowered with lust. He doesn’t allow you to whine for him any further, carrying your body towards the bed before dropping you. Your body hits the mattress and it bounces underneath your weight.
“Fuck me, please,” you beg him, your eyes watching the way he removes his clothes.
You follow his actions, removing your soiled sleep shorts and thin tank top. Your tits bouncing as you throw your shirt onto the floor, not caring where it lands. The only thing on your mind is Joshua’s cock and the feeling of him being inside you.
His eyes wash over your frame, his adam’s apple bobbing as he takes your figure in. He thinks your so sexy, with the way you stare at him so needily, your legs already spread for him. He doesn’t care that he’s promised that this would be the last time, he doesn’t care that you want to better your self. To stop this arraignment. He’s addicted to the feeling of your tight pussy, how it milks his cum and leaves him wanting another round.
Hovering over top of you he aligns his dick with your entrance, rubbing the fat tip of his cock against your wet slit. The sounds coming from his actions are unholy, but to him the feeling is like heaven on earth.
“You're soaking,” he groans, applying pressure to your clit with the tip of his length.
Your eyes roll back, your walls pulsating around nothing, all you want is for him to be inside you. But you stop him for a moment, wondering why he hasn’t put on a condom.
“Do you have a condom?” you place your hand against his chest, pushing him back slightly.
“No, it's fine, we’ve done it without one before,” he shrugs.
You sit up a little and roll your eyes at him. Sure you’ve done it without a condom before, but now that this arrangment has lost it’s exclusivity, you don’t trust Joshua’s words. You know that he’s probably seeing other people.
“Joshua, fuck, are you trying to get me pregnant?” you sigh, and he does the same.
“But it feels better without it,” he whispers in your ear before pushing you down onto the bed again.
Before you can even register whats happening, you feel him fully sheath himself inside you. A moan escapes your lips in surprise and also pleasure. You don’t want him to fuck you like this, but the pleasure is too hard to ignore. The feeling of his naked cock inside you causes you to squeeze around him tighter.
“I told you, it feels better without one,” he mutters, pushing your legs into your chest, folding you in half. His upper body against you, your legs essentially locked in place.
“Joshua please,” your eyelids droop with pleasure. Your hands moving to grip his biceps as you allow him to fuck you raw.
Joshua groans from above you, his hips snapping against your cunt, balls slapping against the skin of your ass. You can see the clear outline of his cock poking out from your lower stomach.
“Your pussy's so good, fuck,” he continues to groan out of pleasure, his tip kissing your cervix with each thrust, "taking my cock so well, baby."
He moves slightly to let go of one of your legs as he sits up, flipping your body and arranges you till your ass is in the air, your back arched. As he re-enters you, a salacious moan leaves your lips, savouring the feeling of his balls hitting your clit.
“No one is going to fuck you like I do, you hear me?” He says, his thrusts becoming more powerful to emphasize his words.
“I said, do you hear me?” he reiterates himself, and you answer him obediently.
"Mhm, fuck, feels so good," you whine.
Joshua’s hands come down to slap your ass harshly, leaving large red hand prints against your supple skin. The burn feels goods and your whimper with every slap he gives you.
“Joshua please, don’t cum inside me,” you beg him, but he just chuckles at your pleas.
You can feel your self getting closer to your orgasm, your walls tighenting against his cock with every move he makes.
“Be a good girl for me and just take what I give you,” is all Joshua says, his hands moving over to your clit, rubbing it in circles to get you closer to completion.
His other hands is pushing your face into the pillow with so much force that you genuinely don’t believe that you are able to move from where you lay. You can feel his member twitch inside you, his thrust beginning to get sloppy. The headboard is banging against the wall as he moves in and out of you.
Then you feel it, his hips still, his length fully inside you, tip right against your cervix before he releases his load.
“Shua!”
You moan at the way his hot white cum fill your needy cunt, your eyes rolling back as your releases follows right after his. All you can hear is his laboured breathing as he removes himself from you.
Letting go of his hold on you, your body flops agains the mattress. You can hear shuffling behind you and you turn around to see Joshua already putting on his clothes.
“I’ll text you the next time I want to come over,” Joshua says when he’s fully dressed, pulling you into a deep kiss before leaving.
You sigh into your pillow, the relization of what just happened hitting you right away. The feeling of his cum dripping out of your now swollen cunt makes you feel sick, but you can’t get over how good he makes you feel. It doens’t matter how many times you tell him that “this is the last time”, Joshua always get what he wants.
