Cringetober Day 12: Niche Interest

Two of my favorite things: Ancient Egyptian mythology & sentai motifs. They have their flaws but I love them anyways.

I also made a self insett for Mummies Alive: the Pyramid's caretaker Chesney, who wields the amulet of Princess Aida. Her patron is Hathor and I ship her with Rath.

And to complement her I made a self insert for Egyxos too! A human woman who inherits Isis's power and eventually becomes Kefer's queen.

Do you take requests for a cartoon called Egyxos??

May I have some headcanons or scenarios for a big and little brother relationship with Kefer and Leo?

Sorry, is just that I love dead fandoms

I do not get NEARLY enough Egyxos requests.

Kefer fully went into this knowing he was going to be a mentor to Leo. The last Pharaoh is young, he's youthfully rash and where his heart has good intentions his mind is still learning morals. What Kefer did not expect, and could not fully take into account, is growing such a soft spot for the young boy so quickly. It took the man less than 3 episodes to start sending bodyguards and mentors to keep Leo alive out of concern for his well-being outside of combat, this did not take long at all.

In Kefer, Leo finds an older brother figure to follow. His parents are typically busy or away for work and oftentimes he is the responsible kid in the house (he has to be with two siblings - oldest sibling representation). Kefer is actually around - as in, actively makes an effort to be in his life even if he is busy with something else. He's a leader, he's kind, he's determined - there's a lot of reasons Leo looks up to him.

Kefer sees Leo as a brave boy thrown into a situation he had no say in and still stepping up to do the right thing. That's admirable. The more guilty part of Kefer's mind sees this in two ways - firstly, a child brought into a war Kefer should have stopped by now instead of involve a kid and secondly, himself. He had an older sibling once. One that had grown from a warm brother to a cold, distant enemy. An older guide would have made much of his life far easier. Leo is an opportunity to be that guide for someone else.

Leo absolutely is that little brother that is always nosy about everything. Anywhere Kefer goes, Leo is sure to follow if allowed (or not) - curiosity killed the cat but it could not get through the golden armor. Unlike some of the worried adults in his life though Kefer usually answers Leo's questions, actually showing him what they're up to.

Kefer is that older brother who listens, a faithful ear to turn to when life is crazy. The realm of humans has long sense changed since Egyxos last touched it but people are people. Problems with parents are not unknown problems.

They do play tricks on each other though. Leo's obvious about it, but Kefer will straight up mess with Leo and feign a cough perfectly when confronted about it.

I think that if we ever get a 2s of Egyxos, having human villains would be the best option for the show to continue.

I mean, I think is the best option. Since it is almost impossible to hide in the shadows.

We could have all kinds of human villains:

The guy who steals tech and doesn't know that they stealing from creatures from other dimensions.

A villain who has been researching Egyxos for a long time and has become obsessed with them.

A long Pharaon descendant like Leo who wants revenge (for some reason)

A Pharao who found a way to stay alive for millennials but looks like a crappy mummy so uses a cool mask and wants revenge (for some reason again)

But what kind of villains would you like to put in the show?

I would really really like more Egyxos-based villains besides Exaton to mix things up. I don't buy that everybody else has been behaving well for the past 4,000 years

Ok sooo, in one of my posts i talked abt Leo and Co. going to some diplomatic mission for reasons (tm) to another kingdom/ city/ country idk to help expand the world. The ruler is very loved and respected by their people, but in reality they are secretly working with Exaton. Maybe they provide him with information and/or resources in exchange for their kingdom's safety (Not that Exaton plans on respecting that agreement anyways💀) bc they've lost faith on Kefer and the golden army and doesn't think that they have another choice

Ooooor a group of desert pirates/bandits working for Exaton that Leo and Co. had been trying to catch without success. One day Leo wanders off and somehow manages to get adopted by said crew (they just didn't realize he was the Last Pharaoh without mis armor on and thought he was a random orphan💀). He decides to stay to gather information for Kefer, but the more time he spends with them he realizes that they are actually pretty chill and nice. Leo eventually realizes that they'd been lied to all of their live's and believed that Exaton was the good guy and Leo and Co. were the bad guys they had to defeat (maybe they were war orphans that Exaton took in)

Can't sleep so listhen up. An Egyxos AU were is the reincarnation of Ra (or better Amon maybe).

He borns as a normal human with no powers but with dreams that represent his past life.

How do you think Exaton and Kefer would react to that???

I was thinking about something similar, but with Ra being reincarnated through Leo. Like, everytime when Leo activates braslet his mind is shifted to Ra's. (Also his hair turns gray and his eyes turn blue)

So, speaking about Ra/Amon being reincarnated as a separate kid I see it's the same scenario they had with "trying to find the Last Pharaoh", but now they're trying to find a child who's an actual god.

Kefer would probably be determined to find the kid as soon as possible, it's clearly a huge shock and happiness for him to find out his father (or uncle) is alive and just reincarnated. And after finding the kid he would start speak to them like he spoke to Ra/Amon. That would confuse not only the child, but everyone, but Kefer would refuse to believe that reincarnated Ra/Amon has no memories about him.

Exaton would imidiatly start plotting. Idk if he would want to get rid of a child or raise them as a warrior. But he probably would be angry to know his father is somewhere on Earth, he might even call Ra a coward and would think he's just hiding. I don't know what Exaton thinks of you interpretation of Amon, but if the same he thinks of Ra then his actions would be like everything I wrote before. But your Amon is on the good side, so Exaton probably wouldn't want the Golden Army to get another powerful god (he would have no idea the kid has no powers).

That's what I personally think.

That's alright! Honestly, that's kinda why I let people submit ships, so that we could get a whole boat load of fandoms! It's ok if I haven't seen them, or if others haven't either. Means we can get curious and check them out ;)

have you ever heard of the show, the mummy animated series. If you haven't followed the adventures of Alex O'Connell and his archaeologist parents, the Mummy tracks them down. Set one year after The Mummy Returns, this series follows the adventures of Alex O'Connell and his archaeologist parents, as The Mummy tracks them down. The show seems similar to egyxos before Alex has a power artifact the bad guy wants. If you are interested, the show is peacock.

Oh I heard of it and I first I was going to watch it because The Mummie is one of my FAV old movies and because of the bad guy design. LOOK AT THAT MOUTH BOI... but then I saw a clip

And I said no thanks...

But also, since we are talking about cartoons using Egyptian themes then may I introduce you to Mummies Alive!!

I highly advise you (or anyone else) to give it a try. It has some questionable depictions of some gods but it is still a fun show to watch. Too bad that the protagonist doesn't use a bracelet like the other two kids or else we would have here our Big Three...

To paint a picture

Exaton Recruits a new warrior name Isfet on to the Golden Army after Isfet being back Exaton's power. So basically, the war is back on, but now Exaton wants to destroy Ra.

Ra is now just incredibly mad that Exaton has his powers back and now has working together with someone who has not only betrayed his sister tribe but who destroyed it (I said in a recent post that ra and amunet who is the ruler of the ankh tribe are family in my au ra and amunet my oc are brother and sister think life and death kind of the think Ra created egyxos amunet know the secret of death and thing like that which is why amunet is jackal)

Anubi finds his brother(wepwawet)alive, and exaton almost killed him, and in a way, anubi feels like he betrayed his brother.

Kefer just watched all this happen and wish he had a normal family that didn't want to kill each other

What's your Egyxos season 2 ideas?

A new enemy named isfet joined the dark army and was able to bring back Exaton power because he sold his soul to apopis for power.

Isfet and anubi know each. (We will learn more about anubi backstory or, should I say, anubis's backstory)

We get introduced to a new character, wepwawet. Anubi twin brother, who is an allie of the golden army. However, he lives on earth because anubi thinks he's dead because of Exaton told him.

The golden army and the twilight Isles had allied together do to exaton having his power his back and a new power foe on the dark army.

We get introduced to the fallen ankh tribe

Bastet and horus are together.

The way the bracelet of ra get it power back is when a blast of energy blasts through egyxos and reached earth.

Anubi finds out his brother is alive and ronounces the dark army.

We get into kefer's and exaton's backstory.

We get introduced to ammit the gard dog/executioner of the fallen ankh tribe. Ammit is technically anubis and wepwawet sister. Although her personality is more dog like in her nature.

did anyone else know Anubis has a brother named wepwawet in egyptian mythology? Basically, wepwawet is a God of war. he's titled as the one with sharp arrows more powerful than the gods. He would often get mistaken for Anubis because of the fact they are so similar in appearance except that wepwawet is depicted with grey fur, or white fur, and sometimes is depicted as a wolf I have an AU if wepwawet was in egyxos

Before the dark army, anubi and his twin brother wepwawet were skilled warriors and travelers like anubi, Wepwawet is a shapeshifter.

Wepwawet wanted no part of the war between Exaton and Kefer, thinking Exaton's beliefs were madness and only wanted for him and anubi to be safe. Anubi was a natural born hunter where wepwawet was an expert of war. Anubi and wepwawet deeply cares for each other they were each other's only family. They always depended on each other even when thing were bad.

Then, one day, traveling through no man's land, they were separated by a wild sandstorm. Caused by exaton to deliberately separate anubi and wepwawet. Exaton Intent to make anubi and wepwawet part of the dark army. wepwawet refused, and that made Exaton furious, leading to them fighting and Exaton injuring wepwawet, leaving him for dead. Even though wepwawet managed to survive, the injuries inflicted upon him. exaton convinced anubi that wepwawet had perished, and the golden army was somehow at fault. Hearing this that wepwawet his only family was dead It broke anubi. Anubi wanted revenge, so he joined the dark army. wepwawet located the dark pyramid to find out not only that anubi had joined the dark army. Exaton had told him that wepwawet was killed by the golden army, just to make sure determined to destroy the golden army.

scared of what exaton might do if anubi ever found out wepwawet was still alive. He left the dark pyramid only to walk right in on a battle between the dark army and golden army wepwawet to make things personally help the golden army. later, wepwawet explains why he helped the golden army. Kefer offered wepwawet a place in egyxos. wepwawet appreciated Kefer's offer, but decline without his brother by his side wepwawet felt hollow.

so wepwawet left the world of egyxos and decided to live on earth using his shape shifting power to bend in as a teenage boy just in case anubi came to earth he wouldn't be able to recognize wepwawet. no matter how much wepwawet believed how strange and rather barbaric earth was, he found human fascinating.

Like his brother, wepwawet has a very bad tempered but always tries to keep it in control and is mostly quiet most of the time. he is also very cunning and intelligent. wepwawet can be mischievous when he wants to be. And being an expert of war, he knows how to get or stay out of fights with others.

When on earth, Wepwawet studies certain subjects such as languages, new forms of fight, and egyptian mythology and all other things while wepwawet constantly looking over his shoulder just in case Exaton ever that he was alive and decides to his Minions to find wepwawet and "finish the job" he had to be ready.

Something that I keep asking myself and makes me imagine a 1000 scenarios of how it could happen...

Is what could happen if Flinn (Leo's grandpa) decides to go back to earth to see his daughter (I have no idea if there's a grandma Walker, but if Flinn still has an alive wife then it would look bad to have left her for a life of adventure ☹...)

I also hope that Flinn visits Leo on the Golden Army when he has the time, Leo needs some familiar care from time to time

If Flinn ever found another Portal to somewhere in egyxos and when to earth, he would have to make an excuse to explain how he regained his youth to his daughter because it is not like he can tell the truth about egyxos, the pools of youth and leo earth last defense.

As for leo's grandmother Considering we never she talked about and that leo's mother seems more sad when was talking her father going missing my guess is she passed long before Flinn left earth .

And I do think that Flinn would aid leo and the Golden Army in the future. i can kinda see one of the golden army says leo just like grandfather.
