These shows are now in the process of getting removed from digital video services like iTunes/Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, etc. They were removed from (HBO) Max, and now, or soon, you can't even buy them.

They are all fully removed from the iTunes store, but they will still allow you to watch these shows from the cloud if you bought them as of this writing. I do not know if the same is true for Amazon Prime; I have heard people lost the episodes of Final Space they purchased. If you want to watch these shows, in the immortal words of the late Stefán Karl Stefánsson, yar har, fiddle dee dee.

Clips of the shows are still on YouTube, and the Infinity Train soundtrack is still available on streaming services, but it'll only be a matter of time.

The exact thing Cartoon Network seems allergic to doing and even when they try they STILL fuck it up because how you gonna put out an Ed Edd N Eddy "complete" box set and not include any of the specials or have a physical release of the finale movie? Hannah Ayoubi To Ink Overall Development Deal With Disney Television Animation

The Big City Greens and Harvey Beaks alumni tree at Disney Television Animation keeps growing and it seems that probably Hannah Ayoubi will be the next alumni on pitching their own show for development at Disney Television Animation.

Recently Ayoubi had a interview with the Creative Block podcast where they mentioned that they currently have a overall development deal at Disney Television Animation in the process of being fully inked. Under the deal Ayoubi will develop new animated series, films and specials across Disney Channel and Disney+.

If inked Ayoubi will be the lastest Big City Greens alumni in having their own project on development for a potential Disney Channel animated series alongside Cheyenne Curtis, Monica Ray, Amy Hudkins, Raj Brueggemann and mentor C.H Greenblatt which if greenlight would join Natasha Kline with chicano-lead animated comedy "Primos" in being the next generation of storytellers at Disney TVA for Disney Channel.

Hannah Ayoubi career started on C.H Greenblatt's Harvey Beaks which kickstarted their career, Ayoubi landed roles at Disney with Big City Greens and Amphibia, which later would be a writter and storyboard artist for Warner Bros Animation "Jellystone!" and Cartoon Network Studios "The Fungies", Ayoubi also worked as director for the axed "Boons And Curses" series at Netflix Animation, Ayoubi currently works as Director on the upcoming Disney Channel animated comedy "StuGo" slated for 2025

Ayoubi also had a pilot of their own for Nickelodeon Animation Studios named "Monster Abroad" sadly the pilot was passed and currently Nickelodeon holds the rights to it and despite Disney TVA being interested on it, they don't want to set a buy back with Paramount and Viacom.

Hannah Ayoubi joins these talented 32 Animators and Artists on inking a overall development deal with Disney TVA to create the next animated storytelling stories for Disney Channel, Disney Junior & Disney+ with new shows, films and specials.

HBO MAX Dumps Slew of Animated Series!

Bad news strikes! HBO Max has decided to part ways with even more of the animated content offered on the streaming service in leadup to Discovery+ merger. Some of the titles leaving the platform include -

Did you watch HBO Max’s The Fungies? Well I did and really liked it. But instead of drawing fan art of the characters, I drew the Smash 64 roster as Fungies (and one dino. Bet you can guess who.) The crew of the show liked it! So my work here is done.

(AU concept for The Fungies) Showing Thorns

(hey, just because it’s impossible to watch thanks to the sins of WB and Discovery doesn’t mean I can’t post this AU I made after watching Turning Red)

In this AU, the Dalfinbott family (Seth’s family) has a blessing similar to the Lee family in Turning Red, but instead of a red panda, they become large, white lions.

The lions are based on the Lion’s Mane mushroom, AKA Hericium Erinaceus, which is a species of mushroom with no distinct cap and spiky “teeth” on the hymenium. Seth in this AU is very similar to Mei, down to the constant need to impress everyone, the desire to be his mom’s “Perfect Widdle Sethy-Boo,” and intense emotions involving growing up.

The family has also made their home a shrine to the “Erinace,” which is like a lion deity. This doesn’t interfere with Doctor Nancy’s job, however, since she still works at the hospital. Even so, she receives equal-sized shifts, the doctor for when Seth is at school, and shrine-keeper when all of her babies are home.

As a scientist, he was willing to be experimental and try to find out how to hide his lion… by the time he calmed down, he looked like himself… save for his headcap being a shade of off-white. He disguised it with a few of Pascal’s paints

Like Mei, Seth has had a pretty horrific experience finding his lion, but he tried to hide the lion… until his mom showed up at his school to help with what she thought was “bleaching.” Then, the emotions took over, and the lion came out… nobody knew what happened that day… except Nancy.

Haven’t watched the third or fourth books of Infinity Train yet? Wanted to check out The Fungies and Tig N Seek? Wanted to see Elmo host a not-too-late night talk show, but didn’t quite get to it when it first came out? Better make it quick, because HBO Max is planning to remove them sometime this week, supposedly in preparation of the big merge between HBO Max and Discovery+. Not sure how making shows that were exclusive to HBO Max just gone for anyone who actually wanted to pay for them is going to help with that.

What makes this confusing is that some of these shows haven’t even finished airing. One of the removed shows is Summer Camp Island, which Cartoon Network has announced is going to get a new season in 2023, with a promo image clearly showing the HBO Max logo. Mao Mao’s second season had been in production since 2020. Victor & Valentino is airing new episodes on Cartoon Network next week. It’s no secret that the Warner Discovery merger was going to lead to many cuts, but this seems dire.
