Tumblr media
the wwe universe knew two things for certain about randy orton:
1. he was an absolute monster in the ring.
2. he adored you.
when the two of you first debuted your relationship, he made the latter very clear, never missing an opportunity to have his hands on you — whether this be on your waist, his fingers in yours, or the possessive hold when he stood with his fingers dancing over your ass. randy orton did not share his women, and you were no exception.
so when the storyline called for you to turn on him, the wwe universe went up in flames. whilst some were undoubtedly unsure on how said story would unfold, most were exhilarated by how you came out night after night to sabotage the man you once loved front stage and centre. you were one of the greatest heels most fans had seen, and despite your villainous position, they loved you all the more for it.
of course, they never knew what went on backstage. how after you taunted the man in the ring, you’d fall straight back into his arms in a hotel bed that you wouldn’t leave until the morning.
it was when the story called for teaming up that people really lost their minds. a series of backstage segments that followed randy as he sought out someone to finally take you down. he settled on none other than than trish stratus in all of her powerful glory — your current competitor for the title, and that was when all hell broke loose. in a title match against trish, just as you began readying up for your finisher, randy ran in to prevent trish from losing her title, and solidifying themselves as the team which you would go up against.
then it was your turn to shine, a setup for how you’d end up here. trish and randy had promised a battle, and you were going to give them one in what the crowd believed would be a handicap match. you, and the writers, had other plans.
all three of you had taken the stage, ready to fight it out for the greatest prize of all, bragging rights, when the lights went dark once more. a known, and feared you think you know me? echoing through the dark arena. the crowd could clearly see randy’s face, the expression of shock as his former tag team partner turned enemy entered the arena and came to stand by your side — then the stage was set.
unbeknownst to your competitors, you and edge had an agreement. you’d follow the choreography, stick to the plan, except it was always fun to rile your out of ring boyfriend up, and who better to take the lead than the rated r superstar himself?
as the match started, you and trish taking first turn, you wasted no time in flooring trish, watching as she sold it to the crowd whilst you waltzed back to where edge stood at ring side. he didn’t touch you to avoid tagging himself in, but his intent was evident as he leant over the top rope, swiping his tongue along his bottom lip.
“i’d let you do that to me any day, sweetheart.”
from the other side of the ring, over the roar of the crowd you could hear the faint growl of your boyfriend, followed by movement as he stalked closer to observe the interaction.
trish recovered quickly, and the two of you returned to going back and forth for several minutes until she unleashed her cat fight move on you, and it was your turn to sell. if you glanced behind you from where you lay on the floor, you could see the watchful eyes of randy darting between your pained position on the floor, and your tag partner who was positioned in a crouch, undoubtedly showing randy he was staring at your ass.
when you dragged yourself to the side, eye to eye with a curled over edge, you were hyper aware of how randy watched intensely.
edge grinned, a knowing look in his eye as he made sure randy heard every word. “you look good when you’re all worked up.”
you smirked, unable to hide your own amusement at the snarl you heard from your right, before outstretching your hand to allow edge to tag himself in.
carefully, you rolled under the bottom rope, trish doing the same. but before your feet had even landed on the floor, randy had dragged edge into the ring and delivered a harder than necessary back elbow to the man’s chest. you winced for the sake of the show, but couldn’t deny the way your heart swelled seeing your boyfriend so agitated over you.
once again; randy orton did not share his women, and this was no different.
the two men put on a good show, wrestling back and forth with a series of high rope moves from both that most wrestlers wouldn’t dare perform. as scripted, edge managed to get randy with a spear before the latter kicked out of an undeniably dirty pin, but it just gave the man the perfect opportunity.
he tagged you in slyly, reaching for your hand but instead making sure he bypassed at the last second and made the contact via running his hand down the side of your waist and to your ass. the crowd roared as you and trish took your places again, but the look on randy’s face as he was pushed out of the ring by his own partner was immortalised in your brain forever.
it was a look that said everything: you’re mine.
when the battle began again, you were hyper aware of the weakened shouts from an (acting) injured edge, showering you with compliments that had you pretending to preen until suddenly they all stopped. you glanced to your side to see the cause of the silence, being greeted by the unplanned side of randy having edge pressed against the ropes, hands on the man’s shoulders until edge was forced to flip back into the ring.
the commotion was enough to distract you so that trish could execute a clothes line, knocking you to the ground as she tagged randy back in to continue whatever shallow beat out he was doing on your partner.
edge was well and truly down by now, and you made your attempt to exit the ring and let him fend for himself when a firm hand wrapped around your wrist.
instead of being met by your partners tag, you were pulled into the strong chest of randy himself, the man wasting no time before crashing your lips together. unplanned, but welcomed, you couldn’t help but kiss back just as forcefully, not caring that the cameras were catching every moment of the heated make out session right in the middle of the ring.
one of randy’s hands slipped down to exactly where edge’s had been, giving your ass a firm squeeze to elicit a gasp that let him deepen the kiss. it was filthy, and borderline offensive to the tv rules, but when randy pulled back and you saw the fire in his eyes, you were about ready to jump him right there.
one last bite to your shoulder and randy was moving again, stalking towards where edge lay writhing near the corner of the ring. he moved him just enough to pin him without a rope break, and when edge was unable to kick out, randy and trish solidified their dinner status. but, instead of moving to celebrate with his partner, randy walked straight back to your side.
his lips were back on yours again, this time pulling your teeth between his bottom lip in a show that would surely have you pulled into the office post match. you couldn’t bring yourself to care, not as one of his hands gripped at your waist, the other holding your head by the back of the neck so you couldn’t escape the kiss even if you wanted to.
not that you wanted to.
when he finally broke away, eyes ablaze as the crowd lost their minds, you could see the redness in his face from the possessiveness.
he looked like he wanted to eat you alive, and you welcomed every thought of it.
“you’re mine.” he punctuated his words with a kiss to the side of your mouth, open mouthed and dirty as could be. “only mine.”
“i know.” you whispered, enjoying the sensation of randy’s lips travelling down your neck. he didn’t care for rules in that moment as he latched his lips to the crook of your neck, a gasp leaving your own mouth before you could stop it. you raised a weak hand to the back of his neck as your knees buckled under the very public attention “only yours.”
3. above every woman in the world, randy orton had never, and would never share you.

My Favourite Wrestling Match of all Time
Tumblr media
In 2006, a Canadian wrestler became Captivated by a Japanese man for whom standard limitations on human athleticism don't apply. Twelve years later, they had the greatest professional wrestling match of all time.
I'll keep the background explanation brief because there is already a better explanation than I could ever do. Read here if you do not know the story of the Golden Lovers: https://medium.com/we-need-to-talk-about-wrestling/that-one-tweet-thread-about-the-golden-lovers-annotated-e9fc604e3a7f
Now Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi have wrestled each other three times in their lives. And their second match from 2012 is arguably better than their the 2018 match that I am supposed to be looking at. So why would I say that the best match is worse than another one from six years prior. Well the twenty twelve match back in DDT is generational, and the greatest spectacle of athleticism in wrestling ever. The 2018 is far more emotional. With six more years of context they put on a match that made me feel more than any other match.
An important thread in the plotline of their story is this, Kenny Omega has never beaten Kota Ibushi. And because of that there is an unconfirmed insinuation that Kenny Omega can't beat Kota Ibushi. And it was because of this that Kenny grew resentful of how much better Kota was than him, and he turned to the dark side.
Kenny Omega is a fighter who compromised his morals to become the best in the world.
Kota Ibushi is a fighter who ran away from a fight and lost his chance to become the best in the world.
Kenny would join the Bullet Club, which at the time was like a villainous biker gang. He not only joined Bullet Club but he also distracted Kota costing him the top men's singles championship in all of Japan. After this Kota left New Japan Pro Wrestling unable to face the person his boyfriend Kenny was becoming. Kota did have some success in his absence, including but not limited to getting to the final of WWE's Cruiserweight Classic (but it has come out since that the plan was for him to win but the plan was changes when he expressed that he didn't want to sign with WWE). But he wasn't achieving success to the level he perhaps could. Kenny on the other had become THE GUY. The first non-Japanese person to win the annual G1 Climax tournament, won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and had a match against Kazuchika Okada that broke the scales of how good wrestling matches could be.
So that is the state of play going into this match. Kota Ibushi had returned to NJPW after Kenny had taken over the Bullet Club and become the top star in the company. It is during the 28th G1 Climax tournament and these two have been matched up to fight each other. Kenny Omega is the best wrestler in the world right now, so can he beat Kota Ibushi now.
Another important detail is that the two men (in storyline at least, I can't speak for them in real life) are in love. Like genuinely actual queer storytelling, and it's not shit if you can believe it. So they obviously want to win but they don't want to hurt each other. They are worried that they will go to far.
And that's I think the beauty of it. The question of whether Kenny has surpassed Kota or whether he's still unable to beat his boyfriend even after all he's done. And the question of how far they'll go without wanting to do permanent damage to the other. Like their 2012 match is technically more impressive simply because men in their 20s can do feats of athleticism that men in their 30s can't. But that helps build the plot of the G1 match. In their 2012 match they do a disgusting spot where Kenny takes a hurricanrana of the top rope to the floor. In the 2018 match they tease doing it again but both men know that it isn't the kind of thing that either of their bodies can take these days.
It's brilliant. It's really beautiful. And I want to talk about the result of the match but I shan't because I want anyone reading this who hasn't seen it to go watch it. You can probably find it in full somewhere if you search 'omega vs ibushi g1'
So yeah that's my favourite wrestling match. It's pretty cool.

MY WRESTLEMANIA 40 PREDICTIONS
Tumblr media
Wrestlemania 40 starts tonight. Wish I was in the States right now 😭 I had to put in my 2 cents on how the show is going to go down.
This is my opinion and nothing more.
-----------
NIGHT ONE
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's World Title - I think someone else is dethroning Rhea. She’s way too popular right now too.
Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Title - same as above. Someone more formidable is dethroning Gunther.
The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate) in a Six-Pack Ladder match for the Undisputed WWE tag Team Titles - apparently the titles are getting split, so there’s that.
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso - Jimmy has essentially been booked as a joke. He needs this win more than Jey does. Jey will be fine, but for some melodramatic reason I see Jey sacrificing himself for his big brother’s sake.
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane) - no brainer. WWE are not letting Jade lose her very first match.
Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) vs. Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio - Dragon Lee has been replaced by Andrade. The result won’t change because Carlito will turn on Rey for looking him over again.
Roman Reigns and The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins - Why have another standard main event match when Bloodline Rules stipulation has been thrown out there? Also, Rock pins Cody. The storyline has focused much more on them and this heaps more adversity on Cody to win.
NIGHT TWO
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title - Seth’s done all he can do with his reign. Drew has earned a title win in front of fans. The Bloodline may cost Seth. No comment on that guest hypocrite commentator.
Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley for the WWE Women's Title - No brainer. Bayley gets her redemption story. Iyo has been good but her title reign has run its course.
Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE United States Title - I honestly couldn’t choose, so I picked KO because I like him the best. The match will be fire though.
LA Knight vs. AJ Styles - I’m not very invested in this match. May the better white man win.
Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins vs. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar) in a Philadelphia Street Fight - I’m DEFINITELY not invested in this match. Get Bobby, Montez and Angelo out of this garbage feud, pronto!
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title - My Tribal Chief has had one of the greatest title reigns and orchestrated one of the most compelling storylines in pro wrestling history. He’s beaten the entire roster. It’s time to move the responsibility of ‘Face of the WWE’ to someone else. I like Cody. Wrestling with a torn pec for 30 mins earned my respect. I think he will do a great job of carrying the company and the matchups will be fresh. It will be Bloodline Rules to make way for all the overbooking that’s going to take place in this match. The Rock will turn on Roman to cost him the title and kick-start their feud for WM41.
-----------
Thoughts? Am I thinking too much into all of this, lol. Mania is going to be awesome!

Dom Mysterio x Reader
Chapter Fourteen | Where It All Started…
Tumblr media
[Dom’s POV] i hadn’t forgot my parents were downstairs. More like selectivity didn’t care. I wasn’t opening the door for some stern talk like I was a child. I had enough of those when I lived under their roof. My mom was doing dishes and packing away leftovers when I moved around her to get to the fridge. My dad was sitting at the island with a drink in his hand looking disappointed as fuck. I was slowly becoming their greatest disappointment and I didn’t care.
“What you did was stupid.”
I stopped, popping open my soda and waited for the rest. My dad never spared any punches when it came to his speeches. “You risked your career, your familia, that woman upstairs willing to deal with all your shit. What the hell were you thinking?”
“When I beat up Randy or fucked someone else?” I let the bluntness of my words hang in the air heavily.
Pops went off in Spanish, castrating me. Only calming down enough to respond in English, “Both, Mija, both.”
“I was tired of fucking my own hand. You know better than anyone here. She doesn’t deserve to drop her whole life to follow me around so we deal with the lonely. I was weak. Randy? He deserved it. No one talks about her like that. She’s practically my wife.” I stared down at the counter top, refusing to make eye contact.
“I get it. Convince her to come on the road with you, let her see behind the curtain. It’ll make her feel better.”
Shaking my head I balled of my fist and let it collide with the countertop. “No. They want me to convince her to do a storyline. Any storyline. That’s not happening.”
“Your mom was apart of lots of storylines with me. It gave her a reason to be on the road.” My dad meant well but I wasn’t about to subject our relationship to WWE fans, endless string of tour buses and fucking Randy getting paid to talk shit.
“Did Eddie fuck mom?” I asked, our eyes connecting and my mom scoffing next to me.
My dad looked at my mom before he shot back the rest of his drink. “Then you get it. She’s pregnant with my child. She’ll get over it without being on the road.”
Grabbing an arm full of snacks and drinks I headed back upstairs despite my parents calling my name. They weren’t ever going to get it. Not when I was so unwilling to let my worlds bleed together and end up hurting her.
Marching back upstairs, I kicked open the door before dropping my loot on the bed. I watched her drop the phone from her ear, pressing the obvious red button to end a call. “It was WWE. They want me to appear on Raw with you, something about a storyline for Mania. They want to reinstate you early if I say yes.”
I heard what she said but I saw black, not even red, as I looked for my phone and started texting management. “I don’t give a fuck what they said or promised. No.”
“No?” She asked, twisting towards me as I sat down on my side of the bed.
“They want you to use Randy against me, be by his side and tempt me to betray Rhea on a paper view. They want to set up a feud and keep it going. They want to bank on the drama. Not happening.” Dropping the loot on the bed I fell into the plush surface. “No.”
Her face dropped into something I didn’t recognize like disappointment. “Okay, I thought it would be an excuse to be on the road together.”
“Let me make some calls. I don’t need our entire life broadcasted.” It was stern enough to kill the topic when I picked up my phone to text Rhea. She was a seasoned pro, she would be the one with a voice in the story line, not me. I needed her to tell me if it was a bad move.
It wasn’t like Randy could do more damage.
“You’re mine. If for one second I want to pull the plug I will.”
Cuddling into my side I wrapped my arm around her while she whispered it back. “Yours.”

I have a really cool request. The reader is gonna be in a storyline with TJD, she’s on NXT and in a tag team with Cora Jade. Her bad Cora are the reigning NXT and Women’s Tag Team champions. After their match against The Unholy Union Judgment Day pops up on the tron telling her that she is too good to be a partner with Cora. The next RAW after her and Cora lose the titles to Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, she blames Cora for losing the titles, she starts beating Cora like Judgment day beat up Edge, soon the judgment dat makes an appearance and tells her that they are proud and tells the WWE universe she is the Hellraiser of Judgment day and will raise hell on the women’s roster along side Rhea Ripley.
This can either be platonic or with any member of Judgment Day
Ooooh this is gonna be bomb! 🔥
Starting over
Pairing: Platonic Judgement Day x Fem reader/ Finn Balor x Fem reader
Description: After losing a tag team match with Cora Jade, you decide to start over fresh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You smile high fiving Cora Jade, walking out to your theme song Born to be wild by Steppenwolf hugging and high fiving fans. You and cora fight smile after winning against The Unholy Union suddenly hearing music looking to see The Judgement Day on the jumbo tron "Y/N you know you're too damn good to be Cora's partner" you starred in a mix of confusion and shock at the jumbo tron wondering what was going to happen and what they were going to do "Your judgement day is coming" you feel a shiver go up your spine at the Irish voice as you and cora walk backstage. You feel the adrenaline in your body wear off as you jump from the ropes landing on Shayna Baszler doing everything you can to pin her but you get pushed off tagging cora in, cheering her on as she and Ronda Rousey tackle and throw each other until ronda gets the win making your blood boil and as the two of you walk away you couldn't handle the feelings and emotions from the past few months oozing out turning and smacking her with everything in you seeing red and losing it, dragging her back in the ring by her hair. You hit her and grab a chair hitting her with it and taking the other chair you grabbed locking her leg in it before getting on the ropes and jumping perfectly on it making her cry out in pain grabbing her hair ready to finish her off until music starts playing turning to see the judgement day walk out "Yes well done finish her off my dear" you look to see Rhea walking in the ring with a smile on her face as the boys come in surrounding you and cora "This is the day you start over clean. New life, new family, and new you" you stare at Damian turning to look at each of the four. "You proved yourself to us from now on you will be the Hellraiser of judgement day, you and rhea would make a good team against the rest of the women" you look at Dom as you steps closer to you holding out his hand to you, taking a deep breath and closing your eyes opening them and tying cora in between the ropes looking at the four standing to your left watching nodding jumping against the ropes and performing your move called twist and slam, getting up and back in the ring wiping the painted flower off your face, grabbing dom's hand, and after a lot of booing mixed with cheering the five of you leave changing yourself over the next couple of weeks. You have your hair cut, split dyed purple and black, wearing judgement day merch, and you gain the courage and tell Finn your feelings for him feeling a sense of love and family from the group than you ever had in your life, being considered a little sister to damian immediately after you joined always being ring side to distract the ref, being rhea's partner in hell always one step ahead to win and being her best friend and sister, you and dom became attached at the hip immediately acting like siblings to each other being an older sister to him and he was the greatest and truest best friend you ever had, and finn became the love of your life always at the ring or by your side with a hug or kiss on the cheek and the fans soon called the two of you Hellraiser and Irish Beast always showing fans how you cared for each other but the five of you showing the true meaning of family.

Just to make something abundantly clear. This is Roman's story. Quite literally, in everyway. If you can't see that then you're being purposefully obtuse and I don't even know what to tell you. He's the main character, the centerpiece of this shit. Your faves are side characters sweetie. I mean imagine for a second Obi Wan fans insinuated that it isn't Luke Skywalker's story and he isn't levels above. And before you come at me with "But Luke was the hero!" Watch the new trilogy, because you'll see that Luke tried for ages to be the perfect hero for everyone and eventually lost his shit and snapped once he finally got fed up and realized the Jedi (In the case of Roman's storyline the WWE universe are the Jedi) were corrupt. I can out nerd 90% of you guys, I promise. But that's beyond the point. I don't know how you can say the story doesn't belong to the guy who quite literally is actively in control of the storyline. This is a story focusing on the Samoan dynasty and their legacy. This is a story of an evil that was built by the WWE universe because they refused to acknowledge the good guy when they had him so now he is the thorn in their side they can't ever shake. This is the story of from Hero (past) to Villain (present) and back again (future) and how Roman Reigns overcame all odds to be the man to define an entire era of sports entertainment as a whole and cement himself as the greatest of this generation if not all time.
In conclusion, even if C*dy is the guy to dethrone him somehow sometime someway, this will never stop being Roman Reigns story. I said what I said.

@moxleys-tits replied to your post “.....i'm so tired, man. why in the year 2024 do i...”:
Seth's entire career and character development outshines Roman at every single corner. Most of Roman's 'fans' like him strictly for looks and I am not afraid to say it. I didn't like Roman at the beginning of the Shield. I found him boring, but he grew in the ring and on the mic being beside Seth/Dean. He'll never be able to touch either of their careers- no matter how long they keep the championship on him. Sorry not sorry to the Reigns fans. 🤷‍♀️
i have zero problem with roman as a person and i never will. he and seth and jon all love and support each other and that's all i need to know. i get roman fans being frustrated by how he's been treated by wrestling fandom at large for years. that's valid. but some of them take it to toxic, delusional levels. i think they're all equally talented. i'm not the biggest fan of his character right now (even though it was great at the beginning of his heel run and i personally did not mind his face character either). i don't think his character and the bloodline is the 'greatest storyline in wrestling history' like some people claim. i think their standards are just low. it's a decent wrestling storyline in a time when wwe have very few of those. that's all. and i definitely don't think he, or anyone, deserves to have 7 wm main events or a 1300 day title reign when there are other guys on the roster who are just as good and hardworking and talented. i don't think anyone could do what seth did character-wise from 2014-2018 as well as he did. and i don't think anyone could do what mox has done since he left wwe as well as he did.

The Scottish Invasion : How Scottish Wrestlers Took Over The WWE Part 1
Since WWE Clash At The Castle is in Scotland , I wanted to highlight a few wrestlers from the company. I decided that this article will be broken up into a few parts. I’m also including a WWE Hall of Famer in this article as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first wrestler I am starting with the Legendary WWE Hall of Famer , the Late , Great , ‘ Rowdy ’ Roddy Piper . Roddy Piper was born Roderick George Toombs on April 17, 1954 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada and passed away on July 31, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. Piper is of Scottish descent on his mother’s side of his family. He made his wrestling debut in 1969 and retired in 2011. He was actually presented to WWF fans as being from Glasgow , Scotland due to his entrance music and wearing a kilt. He is known for his talk show , Piper’s Pit, where he would interview different wrestlers in the WWF and insult them. He also had a popular rivalry with Hulk Hogan and was involved in a storyline with Pop Music icon , Cyndi Lauper in 1985. He also had a big feud with the nWo in WCW in 1996. He also was an actor with his best known movie being They Live , a Sci-Fi film in 1988. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Drew McIntyre was born Andrew McLean Galloway IV on June 6, 1985 in Ayr, Scotland. He began his wrestling career in 2001 and made his WWE Debut in 2007. In 2009, he was using a gimmick called ‘ The Chosen One ’. He also became Intercontinental Champion as well as a Tag Team Champion with the same gimmick. In 2014, he was released from WWE after being in a group called 3MB. McIntyre went back on the Indie Circuit and joined promotions such as ICW ( Insane Championship Wrestling ) , Evolve Wrestling, WCPW ( What Culture Pro Wrestling ) , and soon joined the TNA Impact roster. He became champion in each of those promotions. McIntyre made his return to WWE in 2017 on the NXT brand and became champion there. Nevertheless, he returned to the main roster in 2018 to become a Tag Team Champion alongside Dolph Ziggler. He won the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. He also is the winner of the 2020 Royal Rumble. Drew is the first British and Scottish world champion in WWE. He is also a Triple Crown Champion with the company. He was inducted into the ICW Hall of Fame in 2018. McIntyre will be competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at Clash At The Castle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Piper Niven was born Kimberly Benson on May 6, 1991 in Kilbirnie , Scotland. She made her wrestling debut in 2007. Niven made her WWE debut in 2017 as a part of the Mae Young Classic, however , she was signed to the company in 2019. She performed under the name, Doudrop during the Thunderdome era in WWE from 2021-2022. Niven was known as Viper during her ICW run from 2013 to 2019. She is also a two time Women’s Champion for the promotion. She also had a title shot for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship during her run with ICW as well. Thus, she also had a run in Japan when she wrestled for The Art Of Stardom. She is a one time champion for the promotion alongside Iyo Sky and HZK. She is also a one time SWA World Champion. Niven also participated in the British Boot Camp for TNA Impact Wrestling. Niven made her NXT UK debut in 2019 when she called out Rhea Ripley. This, her first televised match happened the same year for WWE Worlds Collide against Zelina Vega. She won the match. She is a two time 24/7 Champion and one time Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Chelsea Green. She will be competing for the WWE Women’s Championship against Bayley at Clash At The Castle.
My Final Thoughts :
This first part was very interesting to write about. I love all three of these wrestlers a lot. I also think that Roddy Piper is the greatest Heel of all time. Getting to learn about all three of the wrestlers I featured was amazing too. I’ll be writing more about Scottish wrestlers soon.
Love You All,
- Kay

There's one thing about the Cody story that really bugs me and I'll admit that its partly because I'm biased. Cody is great and the fans clearly adore him which is fine, you want that as a babyface. However, I wish this didn't feel like a rehash of the Yes Movement with a teeny dash of nepotism thrown in for good measure.
Bryan is my all time fave and the best wrestler alive but the big difference between his story and Cody's is the steps taken along the way. Cody was born into this business, it's in his blood whereas Bryan spent a good ten years on the independents before getting hired by WWE.
Cody won the Royal Rumble... twice. Fans were furious at the fact that Bryan wasn't even in the 2014 rumble. The fans flipped the plan for mania on its head whereas now, the company has tried to make it look like they were really going to make it rock v roman instead. Let's be real, this was always the plan; have the rock invade and take Cody's spot, piss off the fans, turn rock heel and let Cody hop skip and jump all the way to the main event of mania. For some reason seth got dragged into this mess which was... a choice.
I may not watch WWE anymore outside of clips but I do pay attention. The Yes Movement is one of wrestlings greatest storylines because it wasn't meant to happen. No disrespect to Cody but you can't recreate that organically.

AEW Breaks New Ground Yet Again with Adam/Christian Feud
The greatest wrestling booker of all time has struck yet again by having Adam Copeland and Christian Cage work a feud against each other, something that has never been done before.
Tumblr media
Tony Khan has carved out a name for himself with ingenious, inventive booking that has turned in the industry on its head. He's a fearless and creative man, ready to take a chance on almost any storyline as long as it's new and inventive.
Continuing that trend, Tony has put Adam "Edge" Copeland in a feud with his kayfabe WWE brother Christian Cage. Yes, they feuded and fought multiple times in WWE but that was completely different. Now, it's over a mid-level belt named after a network. And he's not Edge anymore. It's not the same. So shut up.
Watching Adam and Christian feud for the first time since they both left WWE behind feels like a breath of fresh air for the wrestling community. Hopefully, Tony can blow minds yet again by eventually putting Adam and Christian together in a tag team. Fingers crossed!

I agree with all your points and I honestly think Tony needs someone to come in who's not scared to piss off the talent like he seems to be. WWE does what's best for WWE as a brand not what's best for the individual because they know that person could leave and they'd be screwed, AEW is too tied up in trying to keep people happy and I'm sorry to say it but the bucks and the hold they've had on AEW has not been good for their business and Tony needs to man up and start making the best decisions for AEW before he doesn't have an AEW to make decisions for.
I will say in defence of Punk (and it physically hurts me to do so cos I've never been a fan of his, his ego in the summer of punk was insane) but he was not right for AEW, the likes of The Bucks and Adam amd Kenny didn't like that a huge star was there when they'd been trying to create their own legacies and listen I get it they wanted AEW to be the home of the little man paving his own way and here comes this huge name getting all the attention and they didn't like it, I get it, but that's them not thinking about what's best for AEW and thinking about themselves. Punk could and was a huge draw for AEW and its a shame that they all couldn't put egos aside for the love of the business.
If AEW is reportedly heading in a more NJPW style of presentation in the new year, I think that would be a perfect way to restructure wjat happens backstage as well. I also hope that by a NJPW style, they mean more of a return to wrestling being the storyline driver rather than just a complete removal of storylines altogether. I was a touch concerned when I read that cause I wonder where people like Max fit into that.
I agree to an extent about the bucks and omega, I genuinely don't like the bucks all that much, something about them has always rubbed me the wrong way and I don't think they have great attitudes for leadership. I like Kenny alot but I think much the same, they had an dream and enough power to see it become a reality and they should always have some say on AEW because it does exist without them but I was glad when it got reported on at the start of the year that their backstage input would be significantly reduced. It's a slippery slope between wanting what's best and being the nwo lol. Having said that though, I understand their vision completely and I totally get why they are so protective of it.
As for Hangman, idk, I think he got dragged into alot of stupid shit because of the whole advice thing and then who his friends are but honestly I think he might genuinely be the only person whose more innocent than guilty in the whole situation.
Punk was always going to fail, and I agree with you to an extent that he was kinda doomed, but I also think there was so much he could've done differently. They all let their ego's lead when they all could've actually worked together to make AEW greater and it sucks we won't what that could've looked like.
(It's also sucks that when we get Max vs Punk II it's gonna be in wwe and it's gonna SUCKKKKKK and we're gonna have to watch all the wwe shills think it's the greatest thing they've ever seen lmao)

All of her career Ashton Hardcastle had been compared to Trish Stratus. Canada's Second Greatest Export. 5 times women’s champion. Future Hall of Famer.
And for the most part Ajay was okay with it because they were in the ring together for more than a few moments or if at all. Then one day, Trish in her growing jealousy of the younger girl challenges her to match at Evolution only for Ashton to fall pregnant for the second time with her son with former WWE Champion and husband Seth Rollins.
So Trish patiently waited until the time came for Ajay’s storyline with Lita to come around and she took her chance and attacked the woman laying down a challenge that Ajay couldn't refuse
