~Oh. It is a shame- despite your sweet letters, he wishes to hear those words from your delectable lips.

~But he cherishes every single letter, and pins them all to a special wall in his lair. Reads them all constantly and just stands there for so long reading them, again and again and again.

~Sometimes he even wishes you'd read them out loud to him so he can hear you say the words from your heart.

~But if you're too shy to do it, he understands.

~He might ask you during a make-out session or something if you love him.

~Then he asks how much you love him, trying to coax you into telling him like you do in your poems.

~When his temper is rising for whatever reason, he may snap at you and claim that you don't even love him, he's never heard you go on about him in your voice like you do in your written words.

~It's just very hard for him to read your words on paper but never hear them in your own voice.

~When he's getting a bit too emotional and lonely, he'll hold one of the poems you wrote to his lips or chest to feel close to you, and he gets frustrated when his eyes are blurry from tears so he can't read the things you wrote to make him feel better.

~Even though you struggle with telling him out loud, he adores every poem and every letter- especially if you kiss the letter beside your signature and leave a lipstick mark. He'll kiss the mark you left.

Agnes thinks that Walter Plinge is the Opera Ghost, and I agree with her. I really, really like the bit with the mirrors and the masks and the lies. That's some really lovely writing. Walter can't lie, the last place he saw the Ghost was the ballet studio, which is full of mirrors, where he saw himself. Poetic, and interacts really well with what has been established already about witches and mirrors in the Discworld.

This took me longer than I wanted to admit and I'm obviously late 😭 But here it is! Did a poll on Tumblr about which character GhostJade should dress up as for Halloween, and Phantom of The Opera was the top one.

I took the colors/vibe from the 2004 movie with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. Ghost with that mask looks better than I imagined! Jade is just so fun to draw as usual (not the dress though 😭)

Hey, everybody! Long time no see!! Just wanted to give an update that I have been sick for a while, now, and dealing with life stuff, but I have been writing behind the scenes, editing, and getting the first three volumes of "The Opera Ghost" series ready for publication. I have done some fairly extensive rewrites of sections, added some stuff here and there (especially in book 2), and MAYBE have reworked a large portion of book three to make it less traumatizing. I haven’t posted the rewrites, yet (may ask for some beta readers to volunteer to read without posting the new stuff) but let me know if you are interested in reading the new stuff!
